I don't even do the rituals. I don't like being forced to play in a certain way.
There are a bunch of survivor dailys that don't force you into a certain character in order to complete them. Harder for killers though.
-
I'd love to add colored icons to my game but I am so paranoid about ending up getting EAC'd for it..
-
You can run it without Enduring but it works best with it, because the stun'll be almost non-existant and you can attack straight away.
-
The issue with Nurse being so prevalent in the higher ranks would solve itself if other killers were more viable to play. But alas, even the developers state that you should play Nurse and Billy if you wanna play to win.
You could change your build to be more effective against Nurse. Quick and Quiet, Iron Will, Lightweight.. She is only a danger if she can SEE you. So vanish!
-
Billy is the killer that most other killers should be balanced to become. He's a solid killer that's overall balanced in the Dead by Daylight.
-
Just to leave the thought here, to say "I told you so" later:
Funny, I said on the Reddit that I hoped the killer's power would be like Singed from League of Legends where he left a trail of smoke that impaired survivors.

the smoke from the censer makes the shapeshitting transition
We already got Wraith for slipping in and out of something. I really hope the devs don't go for "Its just like wraith but smoke instead!".
-
They'd need to improve the textures of their faces if they want to show them. They're very bland and simple, with massive foreheads.
-
You really need to do something about those percentages. Increase them. DC'ing is so rampant that you usually have 1 every game. Making the DC banning system more strict would help fight it.
Its only a short-term solution though. The insane DC rates mean that there is something wrong with the game. It's a symptom of something else.
-
If they can reliably fight looping, they'll be good. Otherwise, I am sure Freddy would love some company.

Hello.
The change to forum post formatting was made yesterday, HTML is no longer supported.
So that's why the entire ######### forum looks like this now whenever someone quote someone else? I need to highlight the text in order to read what people write..

This is the objectively correct decision
Definitely. The more Spirits, the better.
-
I'll always recommend watching "how to killer" guides on youtube so you get some basic understanding on how to manipulate your red stain, how to move around in certain tiles to lower the time you can be looped and also learn how to use your time in chases (aka, learning to abandon chases to find easier targets).

You know what...
It will be way cooler if suzie and joey will have unique voices
For example joey, his voice doesn't match at all. It'd also be cool if all four members of Legion were available from the get-go and all four members had a prestige version of their default outfits.

Distressing, Brutal Strength, Overcharge, and Unnerving presence with Calm & Order addons is my build on Doc. Now that I can kick gens faster and destroy pallets like a boss for some illusionary onesNice necromancy, there. This thread had been dead for over half a year.
-
1 weekly ritual, 3 daily rituals that keep refreshing everyday (since they are dailys?) and a choice to switch out one daily for another (like we can do now).
That'd be PERFECT. -
Gentapping is safe but it takes AGES..! I rather have a gentapper than a person who can nail great skillchecks.
-
Default outfit and that new head skin, he's the special needs kid now.

The simplicity of most/all noise notifications being the same is better for the game, if you ask me. Less is More is a powerful concept.
-
I rather give him a sound or whatever to indicate when his chainsaw is fully charged and ready to be used. Or.. make it more like Billy's in that he starts swinging whenever it's fully charged.
-
Well, at least it ain't the "sacrifice progress is heavily slowed down when the killer is within x meters of the hook" suggestion.
-
I honestly don't care. Hype is lethal.

Lol @e8Lattice and just what "OP" perks are you referring to? NOED is clearly not one, so what else?Monstrous Shrine, obviously.

Nah. Cannot be bothered.

What if this killer was a lot better than legion and possibly a ton better than nurse or Billy. You wouldn't be saying this would you lol. You would be saying nerf them nerf them they are too strong. Lol
What I am referring to is that hype brings disappointment. I don't understand why everyone's all "WOOO NEW CFHAPTER SOMGSD DNBGFSDG" over a teaser image.

What about thanathophobia?Too weak to be worthwhile.

Amazing. I feel literally not excitement at all.

Dwight was considered the worst survivor out of the default four back in the day and that's why I main him, still up to this day. Default Dwight for Life.

Legion is actually fun to play against. You have to time your pallet stuns perfectly, which is not easy, but makes me so proud when I pull it off. And you can also take advantage of them not seeing scratch marks while in Frenzy. Again, quite hard sometimes, but that's why it's so rewarding.I only find Frank's Tape a little too much. Otherwise, all those complaints and DC-s are just because people like it easy.
I am in the same category. I don't mind facing a Legion, even if it can end up a boring game if the Legion use FM or Moonwalks.
-
Extremely loud noises and survivors doing rank 20 stuff.. eh.
-
Stop lobby dodging? How about stop disconnecting mid-game instead? It's irritating as ######### that there's 1-2 DCs every game.
-
It's just "Typical", that's all.
-
I've seen a suggestion for Iridescent Electrode, that turns his shock cone into a full 360 circle coming from him.
That'd be a really solid Ultra-rare add-on if you add some increased range modifiers to it as well.

@Mr_Black said:
If you don't understand, you know when you get hooked, and you're the last survivor?Back in the day, when NOED were permanent and stuff, survivors didn't die instantly when they're the last survivor.
Guess what survivors did? They endured the entire sacrifice progress (2+ minutes) in order to spite the killer and waste time. -
I dunno, hearing a remixed version of Linkin Park's Crawling when being chased by Legion.. I'd just die of laughter on the spot. Seriously.

Or just slug them for 60 secondsThat's not gonna be worth it. Either go for the savior or tank the DS. Wasting 60 seconds of your game because you don't want to be punished for going after the same survivor who just go saved.. it's just not worth it.

As a survivor I also dislike those dcing bastards. It doesn’t help me any. Killers dc too in match it isn’t one sided. Also Bc lobby dodging is a huge issue.
Lobby dodging doesn't use up your offerings and add-ons. It doesn't rob you of good games. It just shows that the killer thinks he's gonna be in for a hassle and surrenders before the game has even started.

Watch the devs pull a bs move and be like ya enduring dont work on ds no more sorry and be like this is the mending is not a healing action bs all over again
Yeah I've asked about this too. I can feel it happening.
I'd not be surprised if it happened. Hopefully the developers have grown enough of a pair to stand their ground this time.

Battle Royale games are a no-go for me. I haven't even tried Fortnite lol.
I don't see the hype and excitement. Loot, shoot, microtransactions and lootboxes. Games for whales and people with no self control. -
@HeroLives said:
a growing slugging issue soon to be made worse by the decisive re-work.You won't know if a survivor got DS or not with the upcoming change since you turn into the obsession after using it. So why slug? Every survivor in the trial might have it or might not. It's stun duration is reduced as well so Enduring will be even better if you get DS'd.
-
I approve of the change. Changes the Obsession mechanic a bit (which probably does more harm than good in the end for other obsession perks) but DS itself becomes much less of a Get-Out-of-Jail-Free-Card and more of an incentive to avoid tunneling.
-
@HatCreature said:
In the Q&A, I posted a suggestion on how to fix it, If the current Obsession is injured all other Survivors recieve a % debuff, when the Obsession is hooked the % increases, the debuff is reduced when the Obsession is unhooked and/or healed. If the Obsession dies the Survivors get the full power of the perk. If another Survivor becomes the Obsession the debuff is reduced to that Obsession's current health state. So it's kind of like Thana but focused on the Obsession, they recieve no penalty just the others. Their pain is a light that is slowly dying and the morale of the other Survivors is lowered, action speed respectively.
I like that idea too.

This is why too much time just to unlock a character, there's f2p games that takes way much less time... Do you guys think they should do something about it?I think so, yeah, but the developers know that they cannot push players into opening their wallets through positive design choices. It's not like games like Warframe has managed to do that.
