The problem is not that there are too many perks, its that all perks got three levels to them and level 1-2 is borderline useless in most cases.

A "Stereotypical Obese Tourist" outfit for Clown, complete with unbuttoned hawaii shirt, sunhat, shorts and a camera around his neck.
A "Mime" outfit for Clown.
"Ready for the Sun" Dwight, flashing his sour creme white torso and slightly tanned arms and head for everyone to see.

Also, you don't get notifications anymore.. even if you quote someone. You have to manually "@" someone for a notification now.

It's really underrated. I've lost killers by simply running straight through jungle gyms. The scratchmarks disappear so fast that killers assume I've stopped running and is now walking around that gym.

Interesting, I wonder how Bloodhound + Sloppy Butcher would work.
It does, super well.

I honestly don't care. They've already confirmed that they won't do anything with Plague during the PTB or after releasing her, proving once again that this PTB was a waste of time.

A deep blood red cosmetic for all killers that glows similar to the legacy skin that can only be obtained after getting 10000 kills with that specific killer with absolutely no exceptions. The cosmetic would symbolize that you have paid your dues to the entity and committed to the absolute mastery of a that killer. Seeing a killer wearing that cosmetic would serve to intimidate and convey that the player knows what he is doing.
Kills, as in Moris? 10k is quite a high number, you know..

Spirit and Hillbilly.

Plague's map is a perfect example of this. Perfect chance to add a desert/arid themed realm to the game, slaps a large ass ruin in the middle of the Red Forest realm instead.

Claudettes in a nutshell. If the killer chases me I normally try to lead him to them. That way you can force them to do something. They give the killer the run-around while you do gens.
One of my survival strategies as a survivor is running Bond and leading the killers to where other survivors are, but I generally only do this if I am running out of options.

Trapper's the most iconic out of DbD's killers, I feel. It's poster boy, afterall.
-
For me, it's probably Huntress.
-
Sounds like you're at the very edge of the terror radius and with you working on a generator, might not have heard it.
-
Make it so that you can repair generators as normally but with increased repair time (160 seconds instead of 80, for example) but let survivors find and install parts that'll speed up repair speed a lot. A generator without parts would also lose progress faster from damage than a generator with parts installed.
It'd mean you can push through an entire generator yourself if you feel like it but it'd probably be worth spending some time looking for parts that'd speed up the process.

Default Dwight is the best cosmetic set in the game.
-
The grind for Iridescent Shards is real. You'll need to play an insane amount of games in order to amass enough shards to make a killer purchase.
The developers are scared that we players get to buy what we want from their store through our own effort that they've ramped up the costs to great heights. Just look at the Iridescent Shard cost of some cosmetic sets.. 18k+.. what.

"If you're getting camped, wave your hands!"

The killer were most likely already planning on DC'ing.

You'd think so but the fountains all cleanse themselves if they all become corrupted.
-
I've not used SC in years. Felt like I could become a better player by not relying on it.

All the people calling him braindead or weak have never faced a good Legion
Like.. one who use Frank's and walks backwards while survivors bleed out?

He's either the weakest or strongest, depending on how the player plays.

Some cosmetics make sense. For example a dark coat for Adam (why on earth does he come with a white one I wonder...)
Or my personal favourite the all black Hag which is cheap, scary and good camouflage.
Cosmetics cost way too much shards to be worth it.

Seconded. I was there as well, 3
000years ago, and survivors have been singing the same song since the game was launched. Nothing has changed in that regard. The good old days when the survivors just said "git gud" when killers had to fight against the true infinites (like the 3 windowed Wretched Shop)..
-
I'd love to see that the Plague can leave all fountains corrupted and prepare for an easier end-game. Right now, when all fountains are corrupted, they all cleanse themselves..

Don't compare DbD to that garbage. Most people have invested thousands of hours into a game that costs €20 (€81 if you buy all the chapter DLC). Even if the skins are overpriced (I wouldn't know, I don't care about skins), the game itself is dirt cheap compared to the literal hundreds or thousands of hours of entertainment it can provide.
The argument that "the game's cheap, therefore high prices on skins are OK!" is pretty #########, @Orion .
-
I rather get lobby dodged a few times than having my fellow survivors DC on their first down, or instantly at the start.
-
You still get the points if the killer DCs. It an UI related issue.
-
Less is More.
There's a reason why some of the mechanically "simple" killers are the most effective. I don't deny that killers like the Spirit should exist, I think that killers that rely on a whole heap of status effects or "check list strategies" to be effective ain't gonna be as fun to play as.
-
Doubling the Cap from 1 million to 2 million would at least let us go from 1-50 in a single go. I don't think removing the cap itself is the right way to go.
-
It removes any sort of momentum that the Plague had.
An even worse thing regarding the fountains themselves is that they all cleanse themselves should all of them become corrupted, so the Plague cannot rely on a strategy of infecting everyone forever. She's punished for not constantly running to fountains and getting corrupted.
-
There's a reason I call people who get easily excited for skins "cattle". They don't see the problem with $10 dollar skins and will happily purchase anything new Behavior pump out.
It's the same sort of people who pre-order AAA games, or buy "Deluxe" editions or other ######### that turned the gaming industry into such a garbage dump.
-
It doesn't use up PWYF stacks, as it ain't considered an offensive action but it doesn't trigger Sloppy, noed or Franklin's from what I can see.
-
Tunnelers and Campers are still gonna tunnel and camp, there's nothing anyone can do to fix it. It'll never end.
-
It would be extremely powerful but that sense of tension you'd get if knew the Killer had Dark Devotion.. It'd be like playing against a budget Myers every game.

I mean you can still get broken, so . . .
And that only matters if you get found.
-
I think the worst thing about the killer at the moment is that you cannot "save" all the corrupted pools and leave all survivors unable to cure themselves. When all fountains are corrupted, they all instantly cleans themselves..
Like, what?
-
Hoping or any of the other Devs can address this, because they got so close to knocking it out of the park with this one.
It doesn't work because they're dead and the perk would be REALLY strong if it did. Not to mention how much it'd encourage tunneling to kill off survivors fast. Right now, it's a "spreading the pain" sort of perk and that's where it should be.
-
It's already a strong perk, why does every Tier need to have the 40 meter aura reveal?
You've been playing survivor, yeah? Most killers who use BBQ have the perk at level 3. With these buffs, you won't notice a single difference because these changes only improve level 1 and 2 to make them more consistent. Making it easier for killers to see auras means that THEY'LL BE MORE LIKELY TO LEAVE THE HOOK AND GO HUNTING.
I guess you prefer it when killers camp, eh?
-
I've yet to be stunned by DS in all of my games played in the PTB and I've done plenty of 4k games with the Plague. I guess that's how it is when you prefer to go for the saviors instead.
-
Because she is free and everyone have her.
Makes perfect sense that she is one of those that the developers would focus on giving cosmetics. Higher chance that the cattle comes into the barn for milking.
-
Legion is probably the worst to play against but I never leave no matter what killer I face.
-
We'll definitely get to try out the new killer and survivor in the PTB. Otherwise there'd not be much of a reason to test the new content, eh?

Increased the minimum number of pallets and made them spawn closer together on one of the maps. I'd say those are buffs.
Ah. Missed that. Thanks for clarification.

@Orion said:
I'm not too fond of the pallets being buffed, but I think this is a net positive.
I didn't see any pallet buffs?

Lithe suddenly got far better. I approve. It's my favorite Exhaustion perk.

Ruin didn't change?
It is more consistent right now, if you have ruin 3, you won't even notice a difference.
This. If you're used to playing against Level 3 versions of the perks, then you won't notice a single difference.
