It's an amazing perk. The only downside with the perk is if the obsession notices it and starts getting real aggressive with bodyblocking and such.. or just DCing outright..
-
I'd not mind removing the post-game chat completely. I've the box already closed 24/7.
Combine that with a profile where only friends can leave comments and you're basically free from harrassment other than flashlight clickings and teabagging.

Came out 2/3 days ago...so....
You know how the saying goes. The early bird..
-
Maybe? I've seen the occasional post from Not_Queen and such there.
In any case, what does it matter? It's not like they care what we players say anyway.
-
An April's Fools joke, if anything. That guy's a lost cause.
-
I do. And frustration. I can only play for 1-3 rounds before I am too fatigued to play more.
Survivor though? All day, no problem. It's like a holiday vacation in comparison.
-
What the perk need is an area indicator AND the stun needs to be triggered at the very start of the "Jumping out" animation, not at the end of it.
-
Most likely not.
-
I hate the mashing so much. My carpel tunnel syndrome makes hammering that space button for survival into an actually painful experience.
-
Remember how Legion can cheese the chase mechanic to make you bleed out mid-chase?
Imagine all killers cheesing the chase mechanic to be far faster than normal.
I vote for no.

There are going to be a huge amount of perks (6 new perks every 3 months for at least 5 years): it's an excellent idea to buff the bloodpoints bonuses offerings, in order to reduce an otherwise insane grinding.
@Entità I suppose you could also just make it so that all perks only have a single tier, instead of three. Would cut down on the perk grind by a shitload.
I prefer this approach though. More points often means more fun.
-
Brutality is low because she doesn't hit survivors twice with basic attacks, just once. Puke them down into Broken state, hit them to down them. If she got a bit of Brutality for turning them into Broken, then it would not be as bad.
-
Are you sure you want to depip survivors? You'll end up all alone in the higher ranks and just.. exist.
-
I don't recall how many times I've seen the original three movies.. Probably up to 5+ times per movie.
Haven't seen a minute of the TV series though.
-
"Captured by her"?
"HER"?
Did you just assume the Entity's gender?
-
Gonna bump this for the sake of it being relevant. Sorry!
-
Monitor and Abuse is awesome for two things. It works amazing for letting her getting that tiny bit closer to survivors which aids her in breaking them before they reach good loops and the second awesome with her own perk Infectious Fright, as the increased terror radius during chases let you "scan" a bigger area when downing survivors.
As for a complete build.. eh, I dunno.
-
It does need to be an exhaustion perk for it to be balanced.
BUT
I also believe the stun from Head On should be applied during the "jumping out" animation and not when the animation has ended, as the killer simply just snatch you up mid-animation..
-
Matheiu always did recommend that we should be playing Civ5 instead so.. Now's the time, I guess!
-
Way too gimmicky, tbh.
-
He might consider the various grunts and pantings to be voicelines, you know.
-
I am only worried for MoM. On paper it sounds kinda eh, but we don't know how impactful it will be in practice.
-
I still haven't died to a Plague..

She's literally not holding the game hostage.
This. She's throwing the game for a single guaranteed kill.
-
There's a reason why you only get to face Nurse. She's the only killer that doesn't rely on survivors making mistakes.

Wait, i have seen videos of Ardetha for example and it showed aura?
@HazeHound It was a bug during the PTB.
-
He's kinda underwhelming but his core concept is interesting. Currently my second favorite killer.
-
As @Milo said, you'll need to hope for 3 genning. Either that, or put enough pressure on the map that they don't have time to do generators.
-
This sort of killer would be AWESOME to have in DbD. It's a really basic killer in its foundation to keep it simple but the fact that it's two of them.. that spices things up greatly.
-
I'd love for killers to have a forfeit option, where they just say "You win" and every survivor still in the game just auto-escapes and the killer gets to go with whatever points he got.
BUT
This option should only become available when the doors have been opened and the survivors can escape whenever they want.
-
Akin to perks like Leader, Streetwise and Vigil? Definitely.
-
Steam forum's trash and Reddit is just memes. I joined back in August last year.
-
The developers need to turn the dial on their DC banning system up from 1 to 11.

@JawsIsTheNextKiller said:
We allowed people to complain on the forums about the new improved system and not enough of us defended it. We only have ourselves to blame.
@JawsIsTheNextKiller To be fair, the complaints was about high rankers getting matched with low rankers and vice versa. Not that the games were faster to find and get into.
-
I had three games in a row against Plagues yesterday evening. Currently rank 4 as survivor.
-
This is going to be a really unpopular opinion.. BUT.. I kinda like the new stricter system.
I did, however, not like the "new and improved" matchmaking in how it matched you with players on the opposite side of the ranking spectrum.. The new matchmaking was good for getting fast games though, that I cannot lie about.
-
I've used it a few times to try it out now when it has been reworked and I must confess that those games I've gotten to use it, I've survived. It does help a lot.
-
The system wasn't perfect but man, faster queue times was a welcomed sight.
Shame that they reverted it back to the good old lobby simulator we all knew and loved..
-
Fixing the game doesn't generate revenue. DLCs and skins do.
-
He's a good newbie stomper since he overwhelms them with gimmicky effects.
-
The game would be in a healthier state overall if all killers were as viable as a Spirit or Hillbilly. Nurse is of course in her own category but there's a lot of killers who need help.
The developers' design philosophy of "fun to play but not necessarily viable", which gave us fan favorites like Legion, isn't healthy for a game that's portraying itself as competitive.
-
"Their" can be used a singular gender-neutral pronoun instead of "her".
-
@White_Owl said:
Well, in a certain way it's already going on. Optimization and dedicated servers are being worked on, also some other stuff like the endgame rework(?) hinted by McLean... all stuff aimed to make the game healthier.
@White_Owl You're so innocent. You know that we still don't even have REWARDS FOR REACHING RANK 1, right? And this game is like.. three years old now?
When the developers say "We're working on it", it usually means NOTHING. It's like "We're listening to player feedback" and such. It's just PR speech to make the community hopeful. If they cared about our feedback, changes to DS would have come SOONER.
Heck, we're been telling them about the rampant DC'ing issue that's happening and they're doing jackshit. Their so called system for issuing bans might as well not exist because its existance has no effect.
-
An "Operation Health" is never going to happen because fixing stuff doesn't generate revenue. DLCs and Store fodders do, so that's where the focus is.
The only way for an "Operation Health" to be even considered by the developers, is when all players across all platforms decide to not buy anything more.
-
@PigNRun said:
Any Killer that forces Survivors to run away are regarded as "annoying to play against", which means its justified to DC if you get matched against one.
@PigNRun I'd never consider DC'ing "Justified" because you're feeling annoyed by a certain killer or tactic in Dead by Daylight. You're part of the massive DC problem DbD suffers from if you believe such.

You are missing on a lot of good laughs (when you get sacrifice all of them)
@RoKrueger That's like, your opinion, man. I feel better psychically if I miss out on what the survivors (or killers) want to say to me after each game.
-
The buffs he need are the one that help him save time. Like letting him reset traps that's already on the ground without picking them up first.
