    attachment says something else: "e sarà completamente nascosto nell'elenco degli amici" means "and it will be completely hidden in the friends' list".

    Aside the plain text, there are constitutional issues if you prevent players from hiding what they do inside their private home: to be in the friends' list it doesn't grant you any authority to spy others' private life, it doesn't entitle you to exercise electronic surveillance about what and when others do with their consolles or PCs. Infringements can always be reported and punished, but general control is unlawful: Wiretap is a good perk, not a legitimate tool in real life among private citizens. Moreover, if you can hide your names to your opponents and mates, you have the full right to hide it to people you are not playing with. And there is no reason for a discrimination among PS4 and PC players. Please, report this message to the other developers. Thank you in advance.

    I already said they won't revert it. The "console users should try it too" was just an excuse to force it down our throats.

    We should not expect anything from these devs. They won't consider most of the feedback given anyway, they will do what they want and you have to deal with it.

    Your idea that PC players are the supreme masters of Dead by Daylight, entitled to decide, at their own discretion, what is allowed to be released or not, while the right of the console players to try the new content is just an excuse, is intrinsecally awful: the PTB is intended to collect data about bugs and severely hurting unbalances, which would break the game if they were released in the live version, not more, not less. PC players' tastes about the patch changes are not a good reason to prevent all the other players from trying them and have their direct experience, and Youtube or Twitch streamers don't change the difference between seeing and playing something.

    On the merits, I like very much the new HUD: it introduces some freshness to the layout, give us more options to change its size, and leave more space in the bottom side of the screen, which is the most important. I don't know what will happen in the future, but today the survivors and the stealth killers don't fly in the sky, but crouch on the ground to evade the killer or to ambush the unaware survivor, so a cleaner screen to check better and more quickly the bottom corners is absolutely reasonable.

    In my humble opinion, the real reason behind this kind of riot against BHVR is that they removed the freedom to replace official icons with personal ones, which means they don't let you manipulate the game files, not even for aesthetical purposes. It's not hard to understand why they are not happy if you touch their files: there is a risk of cheating, and they can't check, one by one, all lines of programming on your PC, so they remove your temptation even to try.

    You have the same fluidity as Nurse on any platform. There are no restrictions or advantages to Nurse from platform to platform. You just have a crappy controller on consoles. Deal with it. Don't like it, buy a PC.

    Sorry not sorry, PC Master Race.

    If it's a big issue for you turn off crossplay.

    All players deserve a fair opportunity to fight against the opponent and have fun: the different hardware is not a good reason to give free wins to someone and free frustration to others. Your excitement about the "PC master race" is a kind of class speech, very similar to pay to win: what you are telling me, in summary, is that if I can afford to spend 2,000 euros, then I am worthy to play, otherwise I am a poor plebeian who must remain silent and bear the injustice. It doesn't work like this: if the various gaming platforms are united in a single network, then the membership platform must not constitute a privilege or a discrimination, and this is true for all killers, except for the Nurse. Why should I turn off cross-play? The Nurse has a unique mechanic, which makes very relevant the tools you use to move her: stick vs mouse/keyboard... I hope a solution will come, maybe with the MMR, that will give those Nurses a higher rating than mine.

  • Aside what they said about having enough faith in the community to reveal in advance a concept for reworking a perk, I think, in general, that arguments, not personal insults against the Devs, are the best tool to be heard and contribute to a fair, enjoyable and smooth game for all players.

  • I appreciate Decisive Strike won't be used to troll the killer anymore, nor to progress objectives without any risk.

    There are a couple of things I do not appreciate:

    1) a perk which forces a player to do nothing for an entire minute is not good per se: you can punish people for repairing gens, doing rescues in the killer's face and even for doing totems (which belong to the killer), but healing yourself or your mates is the survivors' most reasonable thing to do when they are in danger (i.e., injured), so they cannot be punished for doing so and it's wrong to force them to stay hidden in a brush, waiting for a crow, or to run in the middle of nowhere, with no interaction;

    2) a real anti-tunneling perk should make tunneling impossible, non only discourage it: tunneling it's a high-rewarding strategy for the killer, because if you kill a survivor within the first 2-3 gens, the game is over and you'll win, which creates balance issues (how can the devs balance loops, pallets and other props, and maps in general, if a fair killer fights against 4 people until there is 1 gen left and another one plays against 3 people with 2/3 gens left?), so, according to the concept "high risk / high reward", if you decide to tunnel deliberately someone, you deserve a properly high risk, for example 7 seconds of stun and 10 seconds of no scratch marks from the DS user;

    3) "tunneling" (and "camping", too) is a bad behaviour in the early and mid-game, because you have other objectives and decide to ruin just a survivor's experience, ignoring the others, but, when the gates have been powered, you have the compulsory need to stop any survivor from escaping, so DS should be disabled.

    In other words, Decisive Strike needs three changes to be perfect:

    1) healing yourself or others should not deactivate it;

    2) the stunning time should be 7 seconds and scratch marks should be deleted for 10 seconds after DS has been used (a real anti-tunnel perk, which punishes a high rewarding killer's tactic with a strong counterplay);

    3) DS should be deactivated after the gates have been powered.

    Well, dude, I don't know what you expect BHVR to do - to lower PC killer's FPS to PS4 FPS, because PS4 FPS isn't good enough? To lower PC killer's mouse sensibility to controller's sensibility? That won't happen, so what's the point of demanding it. So yes, all PS4 survivors actually should get better hardware, or give up against good PC Nurses, or turn off crossplay if that's totally unacceptable for them.

    Probably MMR will make your life a bit easier though.

    You can play Red Dead Redemption 2 and The Last Of Us 2 on PS4 (and I have a PS4 Pro), so, yes, Dead by Daylight can become smoother than it is today, and I trust in BHVR! I'd prefer to heighten controller sensitivity than reducing mouse sensitivity, and to get the MMR as soon as possible.

  • @Boss Thanks for your feedback. :)

    @SurpriseSurprise Hem, could you explain the reasons behind your answers? They would be useful to dialogue and understand the each other's point of view.

  • You keep suggesting what I could do, but that's not the issue: the problem is that PC Nurses have a greater maneuverability than PS4 survivors, so the fight is not on equal terms. I'm not asking for nothing but to have on PS4 the same chances to have fun I'd have on PC, against that specific killer, The Nurse (because of her power, of course).

    @Bumbus Yours is not a remedy: if I change platform, the other PS4 players will keep suffering the same issue I'm reporting here. You are saying the PS4 players have no hopes to have fair trials against PC Nurses, so they should give up...

  • @EvilJoshy So you are against a broken MMR: it's quite obvious a broken algorithm cannot fix anything, but the MMR we had last August was a kind of beta testing. Now I hope we'll get the smooth, adjourned and improved version of it.

    @popoles The precision of PS4 Nurse is comparable with the maneuverabilty of PS4 survivors, so you can avoid hits: PS4 survivors against PC Nurses have no hope to do the same.

  • @popoles It's not about the jukes I use: it's about the powerfulness of PC survivors' tools vs PS4 survivors' tools or, if you prefer, about the precision of PC Nurses' blink vs PS4 Nurses' blink. Try on console, see with your eyes.

    @EvilJoshy No, the other 21 PC killers are good: no reason to turn off the cross-play. Why are you against the MMR? Do you want to be matched with weaker opponents? Rank doesn't mean skill: the matchmaking must be fixed with the MMR system.

  • @popoles It's not a matter of skill: it's a matter of hardware. I've never seen rank 1 Nurses on PS4 do what they do on PC. I'm referring to extremely high blink precision and 360 speed: a PS4 survivor cannot avoid to be hit. Many people block the cross platform because they fear the PC hardware advantage, no matters the role: I say that cross-play is great, but good PC Nurses against PS4 survivors have no chance to lose, it's impossible.

    @EvilJoshy No, it would be just a tool to grant all people equal chances, but maybe you think a 60kg boxer should be paired with a 100kg one... If you are a PC Nurse against PC survivors, enjoy your maximum power, but there is no reason to give her the advantage to get a free win against PS4 players. Of course, my best option is to turn on the MMR, which gave me amazing and fair trials in August 2020: some wins, some defeats, but balanced matches afterall.

  • @ProfGameAndTalk Genrushing is like tunneling (and facecamping): awful for the opposite side. Low mobility killers are not viable against full red teams, I know it. But there is a difference: killers have dozens of perks to slow gens down, many of them say they are band aids, but some defense exists! Against tunneling there is only DS, which becomes compulsory if you hope to have a little fun.

    I suggested some global changes to contrast camping, tunneling and genrushing and to reduce the gap between solos and teams: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/195904/the-final-reform-to-buff-solos-and-killers-accordingly

  • @EvilJoshy said:

    I feel your situation only points out how bad the game itself is on console. I hope your not suggesting we should nerf PC Nurse because your console can't keep up. It's not PC's fault the BHVR never cared for your platform. We paid for the game too. Why should we be punished because you struggle with a PC Nurse? If anything console players should be spamming threads about fixing the console version. Killers shouldn't be nerfed because the game doesn't work best on your hardware.

    I never asked for a Nurse nerf, and I gave three options to make trials fair and winnable from both sides: get us better controls OR limit her precision against console survivors OR activate now the MMR, so we'll never find PC Nurses again.

  • @JPA I know that the issue is in the hardware (in fact, I didn't ask for a Nurse nerf in my first post: you said she wins any trial under any circumstance and I replied that, if this is true, she should be nerfed to meet the 50/50 standard), but the result is a lost trial from the very beginning. So we need some fix: maybe some enhancement in PS4 controls or the MMR or both...

  • @JPA I mean the character's responsiveness to commands, the precision of the blinks, the speed of the 360s ... everything related to the Nurse's mobility during a chase.

    I don't know any statistics, but if your words are true, i.e. the strongest Nurse is going to get 4k against the strongest team of survivors, then she should be nerfed until the average outcome, with the same skill in both roles, won't be 2k/2e.

  • Guys, the graphical overhaul doesn't include any loop balancing: it's a matter of textures and aesthetics.

  • @Boss @Friendly_Blendette @TragicSolitude Perhaps you notice little and I should have used bold or italics (I've just fixed it!), but points A1, A2, A3, A4, B4, B5 and B11 each contain a link to one of my threads, in which the point is explained in detail: I kindly invite you take a look at those discussions and leave your opinions there, because every point of view is valuable.

    Boss, I think you are absolutely right about B6: I rewrote it, adding a useful in-game effect.

    TragicSolitude, I've just added your suggestions about bots and story in the A group.

    I added four points: two in A, one in B, one in C.

  • @MandyTalk I don't know, but maybe this thread should be moved into the Feedback and Suggestions section...?

  • I have come up with a possible overhaul of the mechanics of Decisive Strike, as part of a larger package of changes to narrow the gap between teams and solos and to discourage camping, tunneling and genrushing practices, which are notoriously hated by players: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/195904/the-final-reform-to-buff-solos-and-killers-accordingly#latest

  • @Orion , @Boss , @Ihatelife , @TAG and all the other users who I do not remember or who have signed up in the last few months, I would like to read your opinion and discuss with you on the merits of the various points.

  • Can I suggest you to test the gameplay without Bloodlust? A feedback given by direct experience is more useful than a resign taken for underestimating your own skill. I mean, you can win, try it!

    Up until a few months ago, whenever you escaped with an item with addons, both the addons and the item were added to your inventory, then they changed it.

    I really don't understand why they did this, most changes in this game are made to even things out, to make things more balanced because they are too strong/unenjoyable, but for the life of me I can't understand why they made you lose addons while escaping. It doesn't make anything more balanced, it wasn't too strong and it wasn't changed because killers had an issue with survivors keeping their addons. It's simply a change that's supposed to directly make the game more grindy and boring. Yes, I understand that a reasoning for this change would be consistency, because killers lose addons as well, but I don't see why this would be needed.

    If someone gets a benefit that simply is nice for them and doesn't harm anyone, and the other side doesn't get said thing, shouldn't we simply be happy that at least someone has the benefit instead of no one having it and removing it for everyone?

    Your question is very interesting. The main reason, in my opinion, is that powerful accessories increase the chances of winning, therefore, if victory allowed them to be kept, it would create a vicious circle, whereby if you have those add-ons you win and if you win you have those add-ons.

    There are however some considerations to make. First of all, the killer on average earns more Bloodpoints than a survivor, for the same skill. Then, the killer has a much narrower Bloodweb than a survivor, which means they can more easily find and select the resources of their liking. Third, the killer obviously does not risk losing his power if he's defeated, while the survivor risks losing his item by dying.

    In practice, if before there was an imbalance in favor of the survivor, now there is an imbalance in favor of the killer. Personally, I would take three corrective measures: 1) unlock the ability to get an Ultra-Rare add-on with Ace In The Hole, to reward looters who love to collect treasure and give them extra motivation to search for chests rather than genrushing; 2) to introduce a sort of Used Market, to resell the useless stuff to the Entity at half price; 3) to review the add-ons list, to make all of them really worth their price.

    Maybe @Almo , the chief of the Balance Team, could tell us if they have some plan to fix the imbalance explained above. :)

    I feel like removing bloodlust will change the meta on both sides that just isn't fun. Yes I know there are some in the community that'll say that Killer's shouldn't be relying on bloodlust at all and they should get good but I'm worried that this version of getting good means they aren't going to participate in chases. Even good killers still rely a little on the first tier of bloodlust. They'll either switch to hit and run tactics, won't commit to chases at all now, tunnel even more when they have a chance or just play killers that don't run into these problems. Good bye to fun chases. The killers that don't adapt will just play survivor or quit (unless matchmaking actually starts working and they get placed in matches where it'll work but that's out of my rank anyways).

    Maybe I'm being an alarmist but if every chase at Red ranks just becomes a lame peekaboo mind game or the killer just goes for surprise sneak attacks without even attempting a real chase than I think I'm done with dbd.

    There'll also probably be a mountain of nerfs and buffs that'll be happening eventually due to this but we'll see where things fall. I think DS might actually be hit with a nerf cuz the just hold w meme works now without bloodlust.

    I think that "testing" means "collecting data": if data are bad, no changes will go live.

    I know you asked not to reply here, but I feel I should let you know that the English wiki occasionally changes perk descriptions when placing them on the wiki, if they feel it makes them easier to understand, so you shouldn't compare the descriptions on the wiki with the Italian translations.

    -Let's implement dedicated servers so no one will suffer from others bad ping.

    But also, killers need to have consistency, so fu** you survivors, they will have the last word, despite of your good connection.

    The survivors do not exist, it is useless to insult them: they are packets of data closed in a computer program, anonymous binary sequences of instructions in a flood of commands and mechanics. Behind the survivors, however, there are people in flesh and blood, very often the same ones that on other occasions maneuver the killers, and they have regularly bought and paid for a game, which must give them the same fun that their opponents have. The servers must be the final authority, otherwise what sense has it made in spending money to implement them? They must guarantee a smooth experience, correct interactions, and all and only the truly successful hits.

  • @AsePlayer said:

    This. I don't care how it looks on the killer's screen when I'm being hit 10 feet away from the window. If you have bad ping you need to be getting the short end of the stick.

    When dedicated servers were announced, I thought it was going to work like this. It definitely should.

    Yes, I've always said the server should be the sole authority.

  • @Milo said:

    I mean, you chose 1 perk that's probably the best out of the three and doesn't really need buffing.

    not help the genrush

    Also that is kinda untrue at this point cause BNP does give the most gen speed potential.

    Hi, Milo! As I previously wrote, "the repair time saved with Brand New Part is less than the time spent to find a chest, search it, collect the toolbox with the add-on and reach a gen to be repaired". :)

  • You are doing it, and I'm very happy for this! Thank you, Devs! :D

  • I would like to renew my request.

  • I really hope that my dream will soon be fulfilled. Moreover, on the PC, players customize their icons at will: what harm would there be in giving some color and variety back to everyone? :)

    Monstrous shrine (rework): Survivors in basement suffer Blindness, Exhausted and Oblivious status for 20/25/30s. The status effect timers are paused while the survivor stay in basement.

    Is not necessarily a meta perk and could have some synergy with Territorial Imperative.

    Even your idea is interesting!

  • Dear Devs, could you reconsider my suggestion after the dedicated servers have been implemented?

    yeah, but last second switches are also not really intended gamedesign.

    they should rather fix these instead of implementing a feature that basically does what last second switches do imo

    If the killer fears a hidden item, they will rotate the suspect survivor. XD

    Both roles can rotate the character, in my opinion. Funny feature!

  • @Mister_xD said:

    so, do you want the survivors to turn their model on both screens to hide items or the killer to turn their models on his screen to expose items?

    if its the first thing, no. people would just abuse this to hide keys (or other items) from the killer.

    if its the second one, that would be neat, but not really necessary.

    Both things could be great! Moreover, rotating the character is not more harmful than switching character at the last second of the trial countdown.

    Clarification: Here in Australia (on PS4) i’m predominantly matched with other Aussies, or players from New Zealand or Asia. And boy oh boy are most of those survivors sweaty. Very few casual matches without the most try hard items and load outs. So I see maps in lobbies about 50% of the time, and about 90% of those times when someone has a map there is also another survivor with a key. And when there isn’t a key i’ll see in the results screen that someone was running Plunderers Instinct. Mid game hatch escapes happen quite frequently across my matches.

    So you should endorse my proposal, right? :) A darker (if you fears they'll find it before you) or clearer (if you want to find it first) hatch can be helpful...

  • After 3.7.0 patch my reform is even more important. I imagine it is difficult to implement all the customization options that I have listed, but at least you should allow us to start private games with only one player, to calmly explore the map and discover the new tiles, loops, windows and structures. :)

  • I love to get some good loot, not to use it in the next trial, but to collect it in my inventory. Yeah, @Peanits is right! :)

  • To be honest, I fear more four toolboxes than a key, and they cannot be hidden. A key is useful if they make enough gens: with many toolboxes, it's impossible to prevent, with slow killers, them from genrushing.

    Moreover, who wants to hide a precious item can switch at the last second: the rotating survivors are not the only tool they have, but it's far more funny than switching. I'd like to see that animation implemented!

  • Scratched Mirror? Anxiety! Fear! Panic! Tension! I love it!

    Aside this, it's a good add-on only in a few, specific, closed maps.

    @Entità I’m unsure of the nature of your question. If you are talking about “visibility”, that refers to the brightness of the scratch marks and blood, not the duration. So, there’s no direct correlation between moonlight offerings and scratch mark perks. Does that answer the question?

    The distinction between duration and visibility of scratch marks or pools of blood is not so clear: while the seconds pass, these marks fade slowly, until they disappear completely. Lightweight, Predator, Bloodhound influence the brightness / duration of these tracks, and your Moonlight Offerings would affect the functioning of these perks. It is certainly not forbidden, but it requires a greater balancing effort.

    To tell the truth, my humble doubt concerns the promiscuous usability of your Moonlight Offerings by both the killer and the survivors: in my system, centered on hatch visibility, each offering can be, according to the circumstances, advantageous for the one or for the other faction, and this does not raise balancing problems. In your system, linked to scratch marks and pools of blood, it is clear that the survivors would burn only the offerings that reduce their tracks, while the killer would try to increase them, burning the others: this would raise serious problems, if the killer tried, with one offering, to counter four of the survivors. Your idea would bring the Moonlight Offerings closer to the Oak Offerings and the Coin Offerings, deliberately unbalanced to favor the faction that has more need for hooks (killer) or chests (survivors), respectively. Instead, the Moonlight Offerings, in their original conception and my reform, remain close to the Mist Offerings: that is, they are all fully accessible both to the killer and to the survivors, because they can all abstractly benefit both of them (a Murky Reagent can help survivors with Spine Chill and Urban Evasion, but also a Pig, a Myers, a Ghostface, a Wraith; on the other hand, my New Moon Bouquet can be useful to either the killer or the last survivor, based on their position on the arena when the hatch opens, on the time spent by the survivor to look for the hatch before its opening, on the possible presence of keys or maps...).

    @Ember_Hunter @Xaggy Yes, I received a BHVR Read alert.

  • I love the Badham map rework! **

  • @Kind_Lemon And how would you make your offerings interact with perks, such as Lightweight and Dance With Me?

    @Hoodedfengm1n Ah, ok. :)

    Will be change name of offerings? Because it's moon offerings and if that have to work like hatch offering should be changed name, don't? Also appearance. There are phases of the moon.
