Nobody's hating on people for wanting a character that it's clearly not, they're annoyed by all the denialism.
Which likely wouldnt be so bad if the community didnt ######### on someone every time they mentioned wanting a FNAF chapter. They feel like they have to go out of their way to prove their logic to show how it could be, since the majority of the community still hates on FNAF but accepts stranger things as legit horror.
How many people acted the same way for pyramid head? "Dude look, the 4 looks like his head!" And people thought it was a ######### joke.

That is a really smart play on your part but DH also counters killers like hag and spirit if used correctly and it sounds like the survivor successfully countered your trap. As frustrating as it is you just have to be able to accept that it's gonna happen at times
Sorta like when you get tunneled or camped at the start of the match?
It sounds like the killer successfully found you and you didnt hide well enough.
Its frustrating, but you have to be able to accept that it happens at times.

You're not understanding what this game is. Killers don't get penalized for killing too fast, they just don't earn as much bloodpoints as they could of since they didn't have the time to do other things throughout the match.
Also finding the hatch IS an intended way to escape. When you're the last survivor, which is usually when people use the hatch, it literally tells the last survivor that they should look for it. Its their last way to escape.
No, it's not intended, its added in as a backup to prevent the last survivor from hiding for hours on end refusing to 1v1 work on gens.
It's a by product to end the game. At best.

I mean if i load into a game with a toxic 4 man ill just have to quit at game start, i avoid people that bad manner and send rude messages for 0 reason. i play my games for fun, i play them fair without tunneling or slugging all 4 people. i dont care for the 4k, i hardly use anything above yellow addons so forgive me if i dont wish to verse the horrible side of the community when im just down to play and have a normal game
If you play games for fun, turn off messages and endgame chat, and just play the game then?
If it's a toxic team or not. If YOURE there for fun, do that. Ignore them, block messages, and play the damned game.

lmao so because a first person shooter has someone who prefers a controller. Somehow that becomes relevant to THIS game and makes the entire argument fall apart? There hasn't been a single person in this thread who operates outside of a 12 year olds "im right because I want to be " logic.
FFS. So by that laughable statement. MOST people here probably prefer controller right? Are you gonna be bold enough to make that OBVIOUSLY not true statement? The most hardcore console shooter players of all time could beat some average mkb guys. That completely undoes my argument of PC having better controls. LOL. On a totally different game no less.
Are you trying to be funny? How many times have I mentioned framerate in this thread? 50?
Aww honey. You cant see how a mouse is LESS of an advantage in a game like this than in an fps?
My point is that it's not an oberwhelming advantage on actual precision games, so it's definitely not here. If controllers can beat kbm in those games, they can do it here.
Aka it wouldnt and isnt an advantage. Especially since this game is also NOT competetive.
But I guess context and comprehension are beyond you when you just want to rant and argue.

Obviously with your last statement, I already know that you won't actually listen to anything anyone will say. So I'm aware that this is falling on deaf ears:
In the times that the Killer is guessing, the survivor is also guessing. When the killer attempts to mindgame, you're guessing if the survivor is going to double back or not. At the same exact moment, once the killer's stain is gone from sight, the survivor is also guessing. Likewise, when the Huntress' hatchet winds up, you're guessing when she is going to release, guessing when Billy is going to fully charge his saw, etc.
Stridor Spirit removes pretty much all of the guesswork from the Killer's side. That's the part that people are complaining about.
Not true. Killers could be guessing while you've already left the loop. They could be guessing and you DONT drop off the floor above. They could be guessing and you could have just used Diversion, or Red Herring. Hell, you could be in 1 of 4 lockers, and the killer has to guess which one you're in, and if wrong, gives you time AND noise to get out and away.
It goes ENTIRELY both ways.
And spirit has it too. She cant see you. You can hear her as she hears you, walking. Use a headset and you're at her level.
Besides that, there SHOULD be super powerful killers, that ALMOST come to a guessing game. If it was blatantly op people would complain, and if it was trash it wouldnt be used. Shes a great balance of knowing how spirit works and playing to that, as well as learning your opponent as a killer at its core, and understanding/guessing your opponents playstyle.

It's either really bad rank system or godawful matchmaking, being red rank commonly pairs you with red ranks, i get nothing but the most infuriating things to deal with now
So, you're upset about being matched with people your rank.... and having tough games? Seriously?
I've said it over and over. Rank means nothing. Bit if you're one of the people who believes in it, you're where you belong. Supposedly. If you have tough game over and over against red ranks, while in red rank, perhaps you're not REALLY supposed to be in red rank.

I'm not so sure removing the category cap is a good idea. That one exists to prevent people from farming for eons in one match. Being stuck in a farming trial is already incredibly boring, I'd rather nothing was done to further incentivize it.
I think it would be better to add in more ways for each role to earn post-match BP. and BP multipliers. Such as making the BP-bonuses of BBQ & Chili and WGLF base-game as a start. I also think the old version of "Merciless Killer" (4 sacrifices in one trial) should be made a bonus as well.
If it was still capped at 32k overall I think is what they mean. So you can earn your max points from the objectives you're able to do.
-
So 100% bonus bp per survivor who leaves through hatch when im killer too, right?

Penalties should never exceed one hour. If you're disconnecting at too high of a rate, you should be in a bad sports lobby for a while. Give everyone not in an SWF with the person who disconnects a 10k BP Bonus.
If you cant stand 10 minutes games SO OFTEN that you get an hour ban, that's kinda on you. Imo it looks like you want a break.
If you're getting bugged DCs THAT often, maybe check your install and net, or idk maybe take a break for a bit? If you know it will DC you, and you can get a ban, but play anyway, and then get DCd, what did you expect? I intentionally DCd like 5 games in a row one night to test how bad it is, and only got to 10 min (11, so assuming 15 and I watched some of it away during the game) bans.
But everyone has an eloquent excuse as to why THEIR DC is legit.

I mean, I don't mind the penalties myself - but they can't leave innocent players vulnerable.
A game with such security holes and bugs that can be experienced/exploited should NOT have a system like this.
With it taking almost 6 DCs to get past a 5 or 10 min ban, the innocent defense doesnt really stick.
Internet issues? Fix that ######### first.
Game bugs and DCs constantly? Stop playing it or accept you're going to have issues until they fix the bugs (because I NEVER get bugged or DCd but people claim it).
Sick of xyz killer? Accept it and move on after the game.
The only legit DC reasons are real life things you cant ignore. Emergencies, etc. Otherwise you're being either a child, or have internet issues you know about and still play through, but when you choose/get DCd, you ruin the game.

Yeah we need you to represent Xbox. When you don't even understand what you're talking about at all.
Oh my god you just said a mouse is a small advantage? How are there people like this?
The difference is one person is using their ENTIRE HAND to manipulate an object meanwhile the person on the console is using their thumb,
hmmmmm. I wonder how many tasks the average human could outperform another human in while using only their thumb while the other person is free to use their entire hand. SPOILER ALERT. None.
"the frames are and issue but thats on the devs" I tried to decipher what that means even though my native language is English. I think I got it. Hmmm its almost like this post IS criticizing the devs. Yeaahhh?
Your argument about mouse vs controller movement falls apart when you realize there are FPS players who do BETTER with controllers than some do with KBM.
So, the only advantage is personal preference and ability.
Unless you wanted to talk about framerates and input delay, but you didnt.

The legacy was a reward meant to compensate people for grinding bloodwebs at a time when grinding bloodwebs was a nightmare. The real equivalent would be having forcing players to sacrifice bloodpoints into a legacy piece bank and once they get 4 million bloodpoints in that bank, they can unlock one legacy piece.
And event rewards were rewards for people playing during the earlier days and actually putting in time and effort. Before everything was handed out.
PAX outfits were PAID FOR by people at an event, as the only way to obtain them.
Those are now handed out for free. How is legacy different? Other than the amount of time needed? Oh that's right. It's not. Its something people earned, and now is unavailable. The difference is they gave out everything else for free.

In a game that actively revolves around chases and killer/player interaction, saying that the counterplay to spirit is avoiding the killer entirely is admitting that the way it is designed isn't suitable for the purpose devs made the game for. Same for deathslinger: janky movements are not outplaying, they revolve on the same rng based luck that you have when spirit ######### up her phase and doesn't find you. It's not about who's the best mind gamer between the killer and survivor, it's about how often the killer ######### up.
The game when created wasnt revolving around chases. Looping wasnt ever supposed to be a thing. It just happened.
Hell one of the original 3 killers is based on being invisible to sneak up on people.

Your opinion is invalidated by gen speeds. Sorry, but that's just how it is. People can easily abuse second chance perks for free and easy map pressure, and you aren't getting "outplayed," but outperked. It takes no skill to use any second chance perk, especially not the Immortality combo. It just translates to free map pressure for the survivors, no question.
It actually seems to me that you have been going up against genuinely stupid teams that don't realise that doing generators is their objective and that second chance perks, especially DS/UB, are free gen time and/or free map pressure (free chases, free unhooks, free escapes, free momentum ruin, etc.) They are a plague in DBD, more so than anything that killers have, because you can easily win a trial without them if you just replace them with skill or, and this is the more important thing, tactics. Killers genuinely cannot say the same unless they are playing Nurse or Spirit (sorry, but all the other killers just don't have the mobility to rely on their own skill rather than gen control).
I have perspective. I test these builds and combo's before giving my opinion. And my opinion, and experience, is that these perks can go rot in hell. Theres no downside, it's just free gens, and killers have to rely on them screwing up MASSIVLEY before the survivors are in any sort of trouble. There's no skill, just immortality. I was disgusted at myself when I was testing, and I am disgusted at anyone who genuinely thinks it's okay to run this combo. Is it a free win? Not all the time. But when you do win, it is free. 0 skill or effort gaming, while you opponent is trying their hardest, pulling every trick out of the book, to beat a couple of perks. That is disgusting.
Edit: I should clarify, I was meaning royal "you", not you the OP. Everyone's opinion, even mine, is invalidated by the sheer speed of gens.
Their opinion isnt invalidated at all. Stop being an #########.

Ok for starters a lot of the counter play that is said is usually something about making educated guesses or general which is countered good slinger. I have no threadbare excuses I say my what I think slinger offers no reaction time, a free zoning by ads spamming, zone by existing. It makes chase repetitive and predictable.
I have said this over and over. If you acknowledge having to avoid certain killers in a chase you are saying survivors should be subject to a boring game due to design flaws. If the rest of the game was more interesting and doing gens had more incentive I wouldn't have much of a problem with it.
I insist on a 1v1 because you like many other killer mains who like this killer cant preform it themselves you can't run the killer, you can't showcase the counterplay, its all talk no game.
The real fetish is how you refer to these killers as caleb and rin. Its kinda weirding me out actually. Then again a fetish ties in to sex which is why I find it a poor choice of word to use.
So me calling Trapper Evan is a fetish now? Or Bubba?

I admit, I did not read your post, but there is one thing which is clear:
Legacy was given to players who played the game in a time where nobody knew if it would survive. With more Grind, less BP Offerings and so on.
Event Exclusives where obtainable by playing the game. Yes, some people act like you have to sell your grandma to get those cosmetics, but nope, you just have to play the game. And there is no reason why someone who did not play DBD should be excluded.
Way different from Legacy.
"Anyone who could play could earn event cosmetics".
Well, event cosmetics were given in a time where the game was buggy af and unbalanced. Ruin was a threat and DS was broken. We played through it.
And the exact same is true for legacy.
Doesnt matter if it was early days or if the game may have failed. They didnt earn legacy yo save the game. They did it by JUST playing. Like event cosmetics.
It's the same exact thing. Did one require more time? Absolutely. Are they different situations? No way in hell.
Besides, most people WITH legacy these days are hackers, most of the old players quit.
And even then, at the LEAST give it to people who had an account before the date of change. Ya know, those who were actually eligible.
But then that would be different from the events. Those were given to people who werent playing or supporting the game 3 years ago....
See how this is a circle? Because they're the same thing.

That would be exactly why they would be allowed to change the achievement. If it was no longer possible to be done.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. Vigo/the alchemist is messing with pustula and takes it too far, causing himself to shift in ways like the killers (the halloween cosmetics).
I assumed there wasnt a new trailer, but bottles would still kinda fit.
Even if it's not vigo or the alchemist (if they're not the same person), a shapeshifter would be cool. Not super effective because what's the point of the human form, but would definitely be cool to have.

Because theres a dozen targets instead of 4.

Not surprising. Plus we all know it's a worse game, so not taking it seriously goes a long way also.
