Cypress Moris should be added to the Killer's base kit to help with the Mori rituals.

I thought you could report people based on what they say in party chat. Can't Sony/Microsoft/Steam find out what was said in a party chat?

Lol respecting the 4%. I never give Survivors an escape. They have to earn it.

This is tough. I can't pick between any of the corn maps, Yamaoka, Haddonfield, or Ormond.
-
I’m not really sure if I actually like it or not. The event seems like it is trying encourage us to pay for the outfits instead of having us grind for them because of how many coins you have to earn, you have no way of finding the vessels aside from blindly running around, and the event only lasts two weeks. I also don't like that the event BP gain has been decreased.
-
Have you ever heard of the word "rework"? Either way, I would take everyone else's advice here and adapt.

I heard somewhere that the devs were having trouble coming up with cosmetics that fit her. Her Chemosynthesis outfit is really badass though. I'm hoping we'll get something like a lava Hag skin or some variants of Chemosynthesis.

Decisive Strike: Gives the Survivor a free escape which can prevent the Killer from getting early-game momentum and has no counter that is 100% reliable. Enduring, Unnerving, and dribbling are all situational. To give it a healthier design, I would either bring back the stun-in-place idea that the devs had or give it multiple requirements for the skill check to pop up. This way the Killer can keep their momentum and Survivors will not have a guaranteed free escape. They will have to earn it.
Breakdown: The Killer is punished for doing their job. They could be on the other side of the map and the hook will still break. I know Hangman's Trick exists, but I shouldn't have to run a perk simply to hook Survivors. To make this perk healthier, I would either rework the perk completely, give the hook breaking part some requirements, or have it fill up a portion of the sabotage bar. Any of these changes would not punish the Killer for doing their job, especially when they're on the opposite side of the map. Severely punishing a player for trying to do their job in any video game is just terrible game design.
-
I'm not really sure. First I want to see if Killer queues will become nightmares again.

It definitely seems like a shadow nerf more than a bug, especially since it was excluded from the 2.5.1 update. I’m honestly not that surprised, considering he does better against new players and we all know what happens when newer Survivors struggle. I'm really hoping it gets undone in the Moonrise patch or in another update. It was an unnecessary nerf that happened because Survivors whined enough. If it's to fix being stunned when you're already on the other side of the vault, then it should be fixed in a different way than straight up nerfing him.Wait it's a nerf in patch 2.5.0? Like I'm pretty sure I've had this problem with Doc since much earlier. Also if it's a nerf, why does it sometimes still work to interrupt a vaulting animation when at the beginning of the animation? It's just sometimes survivors vault even when I shock them before they start vaulting. But not always.
I never really had this problem. I was thinking that it was a shadow nerf because it wasn't mentioned in the 2.5.1 patch notes and I would like to think that the devs would want to fix such a game-breaking bug (it messes with a pretty important part of his power) ASAP. Maybe it's been in the game for a long time but it rarely happened and patch 2.5.0 ended up increasing its frequency? I was thinking that the devs could planning to buff shock therapy in the very near future and the shadow nerf could be used for testing things out, but then why would you spread it out over multiple patches instead of putting all of the possible Doc changes into one patch? I would think it would make more sense to test everything out all at once.

I'd love something like this. The only problem I can see is that we could be introduced to game-breaking bugs like players being able to bring all perks, add-ons, and offerings into a public trial.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uuL6cJPz3NkLeatherface and BIlly are very easy to play? One of them is a low tier Killer who only really works against dumb Survivors and has to get right on top of the Survivor to use his chainsaw while the other has an extremely powerful chainsaw but requires some skill to really use effectively. Get good.
-
No. Legal issues have basically killed his game. We don’t need that to happen to DbD.
-
BBQ already had enough counters. Survivors continued to whine and the devs gave in by creating Distortion and buffing lockers. At this point it's just a simple matter of getting good.
-
It definitely will. I also don't want to see 20+ minute Killer lobbies. I'd prefer to not have to derank just to play the event as Killer. Along with your changes, all of the Survivors should earn at least half of the points whenever a gen is completed (like the Survivors working on the gen would get six points, but Survivors who were not working on that specific gen would only get at least 3 points). I think the Summer BBQ event also worked like this for Survivors.
-
It's because of how much work the devs put into making the skins and they need money (either because of greed or to make up for Deathgarden's massive flop and the lawsuit that they recently had to deal with).
-
I think that Ray's Goodbye (25:17) would work better because that track has parts that would work really well when you're trying to hide while Michael is nearby. The Shape Kills works better for just a direct chase instead of you trying to hide and then getting found by Michael.
I wouldn't be surprised if the devs wanted to do something for the 2018 Halloween, but couldn't because of money.

He’s probably running a build to quickly increase your Madness tier. Crouching slows the Madness gain by I think 50% and lockers prevent you from reaching a new tier. You’ll just have to utilize these more often.LegitAdventurer said:I play survivor and i haven't noticed this, doc defintely prevents me from doing tasks. I think Doc is super broken honestly. I get to Madness 3 before ever even being shocked by doc. And then I'm stuck with an insta freeze from doing tasks like snapping out of it, doing gens, healing, because every 30 seconds my character screams, no matter if I'm in the middle of an action or not. If I'm in chase and get shocked theres like a 5 second period where i can't unhook, vault etc. You can't even break a totem in Madness 3 because you scream before you finish it and it cancels your action.
The only actions you’re supposed to be able to do in tier 3 are Snap Out of It, jump in the Hatch, unhook Survivors, vault, and drop pallets. Are you letting go of the button when you scream while snapping out of it? Everything else is intended.
His shock stun is supposed to stop you from doing anything except move for two seconds. I think you’re just exaggerating when you say five seconds. -
Same with the Doc shock stun bug (the stun doesn’t always apply when you shock the Survivor). I’m thinking both issues will be fixed either in a hotfix or with the Lunar event patch.Broosmeister said:I thought they would fix the grabbing bug, it's still here i guess...

Can you tell us when these bugs will be fixed? One of them is even messing with a pretty important part of Doctor’s power. -
What platform are you on and how often is it happening during each match? Is it happening every time you try to stun them or is it random?

He was heavily nerfed in patch 2.4.0. His belly jiggle was removed in that patch.
Aside from that he hasn’t gotten any nerfs. Those people either wanted Clown nerfed or heard from a wrong source. -

@ToxicAddiction
@Bongbingbing
What platform are you guys on and how often is the Doc shock stun bug occurring? Maybe it’s a platform specific bug or one that just rarely occurs.
Also, grabs have been bugged since at least the 2.2.0 patch. I don’t know if the devs are working on a fix or not. -
That’s what you get for t-bagging at the gate.

Doctor's Hallowed Blight outfit. The only name I remember is Foul Bile, and I think that's for the head cosmetic.

IIRC, Lullaby used to not give Survivors notifications until they were affected by it. I think a patch bugged it and it hasn't been fixed yet. But yeah, I agree on not notifying Survivors of NOED and DH if an injured Survivor is hit instead of a healthy one.

He's also the person who said Scratched Mirror Myers was OP based on one video of marth88 playing him on Lery's (the only good map for that build).

So if someone wears a schoolgirl outfit in a video game, then it's automatically oversexualization? Besides, Japanese colleges actually have their women wear uniforms. Also, her skirt is barely cut.
You're getting upset with Feng's costume because it looks uncomfortable to you? That is got to be one of the stupidest reasons I've heard for not wanting a costume to be in a video game. You realize that other people find that comfortable, right? I'm pretty sure that's a formal dress, so a lot of people have worn it and are comfortable in it.
I think this person is with the group that was hating on Spirit when she first released.
-
Yes! This is a great QoL buff that would only negatively affect salty Survivors who DC. It’s not fair that I lose 25% extra BP because someone on the other side got salty. This should’ve been fixed before Leatherface released.
-
I don’t unless something important is going on in real life. Getting the BP is enough to keep me in the game.

The wiki says that Killers have to hook Survivors in order for the vessels to become corrupted so the Killer can destroy them. They also get points for hooking the Survivor. How are Killers supposed to get points and corrupt the vessels if all of the hooks are destroyed or too far away?Brady said:@SnakeSound222 said:
As of right now I’m excited. However that could change depending on how many points we have to get to earn a coin and how many coins we need to get a cosmetic piece. I don’t want Moonrise to be a super grindy event, but I also don’t want it to be a super short event. Going by the wiki page, I’m assuming that we can earn coins as either side instead of being forced to play them both (like how the Hallowed Blight worked before the devs changed it). Also, I’m hoping hooks won’t be able to be sabotaged again just for the duration of the event (or give them a base Hangman’s Trick).
To my understanding Killer hooks will remain untouched and irrelevant to this events objective.

- Spark of Madness. We got introduced to my favorite Killer of all time, the Doctor.
- Halloween. It gave us some of the most iconic horror movie characters, Michael Myers and Laurie Strode.
- Saw. The Game map is really fun to play on as both Killer and Survivor. I'm glad the hook spawns there will be fixed in 2.5.0.
- Shattered Bloodline. Spirit is just a really cool Killer.
-
I seriously don't understand why disconnecting during a Mori will ######### up the achievement. Evil Incarnate is already hard enough. It doesn't need to be made any harder.
-
The Hatch is needed in case you have teammates that screw you over, but that's not what it's being used for in its current state. It's basically a giant "######### you" to the Killer if they do good. It needs to be fixed ASAP, but I'm not sure if the whiny Survivors will let BHVR do so. We all know what happened last time they tried to fix the Hatch.
-
An option to let us choose our main menu music is needed. The Legion theme is my favorite and I'd like to hear it whenever I start up my game.

Considering you guys can make certain perks completely useless at any time during the match, I'd say it's fair. If you're that desperate to use your Exhaustion perk, then that sounds like you just need to get better at looping and stop relying on the perk. Besides, you're not going to get a lot of use out of it every game.
@Master said:
CounterplayIf you dont run exhaustion perks, his addon is completely useless
Exactly. Though it does help slow the game down because it makes getting out of tier 3 take two seconds longer, so it's not completely useless.

Why is everybody trying to get doc nerfed to freddy lvl now? It's one of three things:
- Christmas noobs
- Bad Survivors wanting the game to be braindead easy for them
- A combination of 1 and 2

I really want to see some buffs to my boy Doctor. His base shock charge speed should be increased by 25%, his movement speed while charging his shock should be 100%, and the shock delay needs to either be removed or shortened by at least 50%. His add-ons that increase shock range would be nerfed to 20%, 40%, and 60%, respectively to reflect the base shock range buff. His illusions should also not spawn on a different floor than the Survivor it is tracking. It is really annoying to search a floor because the illusion keeps spawning there when the Survivor is actually on a different floor.
After that I'd like see a Freddy rework, Legion rework, Leatherface buffs, Trapper buffs, and some Wraith buffs. I'm not really sure what I'd do for any of those Killers except for Trapper. I'd let him arm traps that are already on the ground, start with two traps, and maybe have their color try to match the environment (this would help with indoor maps like Lery's and The Game).
-
Good for Survivors only. It makes surviving easier and take even less skill.
-
A Survivor got salty because my only platinum trophy at the time was Evolve and I had played the Godzilla game. I guess the games that I have played and the trophies that I’ve earned somehow reflect my skill in DbD (I got a 4k in that match btw).
-
Why?
-
Is this an attempt at bait? If so, then it’s a pretty bad one.

I think Doctor is mid tier because of the stun from his shock. Yeah, it won’t work all the time, but when it does (and it can at quite a bit of pallets and windows), it’s pretty good. It works much better after the pallet has been dropped because the Survivor will have a harder time getting away (they can’t vault over anything and you’re going to be running towards them, so the Survivor has to either try to stay away from you while the stun is active or just take the hit). All he needs is just some buffs to his base shock and a small illusion buff and he’ll make it into the bottom of top tier.Myers is way too high. Without add-ons, the best things he has are an instadown and small terror radius. The instadown can be countered by looping and hiding from him and his terror radius can be countered by looking around. It’s also really easy to deny him of evil by just standing behind an object. I would put him in the middle of mid tier.
Nope he'd be top of mid tier but I wanted to give him a better rating. Myers is an extremely strong killer if played correctly. I considered putting him in mid tier but he certainly has top tier.
Doc is unreliable and against a simple loop, he's quite powerless. He can just delay the game. He's really weak compared to Myers.
Myers really only has to deal with 1 or 2 loops before he instadowns but Doc gets looped so hard and most the time, nobody even drops a pallet against him.
Doc is reliable against windows. He can shut down jungle gyms easily. You just have to start charging up your shock early (when you start depends on if you're running a shock range increase add-on or not). It's the same thing with pallets (although there aren't as many safe pallets for him as there are windows).
Myers only has deal with 1 or 2 loops if the Survivors are dumb enough to feed him. If they stay behind objects and out of his LoS, then reaching another EW tier can be hard.
-
I endure it because I only have bad FPS drops when I swing my weapon. Everything else (minus things like the Wraith+Sloppy bug) runs fine on my PS4.

What do you think about the ability for killers to unhook a survivor into being carried again?
It would reset the hook phase they are in when originally hooked previously, though.
I.e. if it was the first hook, and you unhooked them yourself, it would stay first hook for the next hooking. Their struggle phase would be refreshed.
Naturally this is to prevent someone unlocking and rehooking 3 times to sacrifice faster.
I mean like, m a y b e, but what would this be helpful for? You could just loop them on and off the hook and keep the game hostage.
Getting people to event hooks, getting people to the sex dungeon... I mean basement, letting someone go, screwing with hook rushers, messing with hook farmers, stopping hatch plays, I'm sure people can find uses for it. Probably ones I wouldn't think of.
To prevent holding the game hostage, maybe limit it to 1 or 2 consecutive killer unhooks?
Why would you want to stop a hatch play though?
So you can kill the last Survivor. I mean, your objective is to kill all four Survivors.
-
Either you guys are new to/bad with Survivor or this is bait. Like most other Killers, Doc can easily be looped (yes there are pallets and windows that his shock cannot stop) and gen rushed if you're even slightly decent at hitting skill checks. Madness 3 also does NOT prevent you from unhooking. Source: it's happened to me multiple times.
Legion does have problems, but not the ones you're talking about. His problems involve the Frank's Mixtape + moonwalking strategy.
I cannot believe that people are still complaining about BBQ. There was at least three ways to counter it before patch 2.4.0, when the devs added two more counters! Is it hard-wired in your brain that BBQ is a stupid perk, no matter how many counters exist for it?
-
Doctor’s Moldy Electrode (minus the charge time increase) and maybe Maple Knight
Pig’s Rule Set No.2
Huntress’s Pungent Phial
Spirit’s Father’s Glasses
Wraith’s “The Hound” - Soot add-on and MAYBE “The Ghost” - Soot add-on
Maybe Hag’s Dried Cicada
All of Legions’s Common add-ons (maybe even do this for all Killers, with a few exceptions) -

I’m in the same boat. I don’t want to down a Survivor only to see that the nearest hook is too far or someone’s already on the nearest hook and I’m forced to let the other Survivor wiggle off.
-
Don’t forget Unnerving Presence and Doc’s Madness. Those two “counters” rely on the Survivor not being that good at hitting skill checks or getting unlucky.Tsulan said:

It doesn't counter DS.
DS has effectively no counters.
Enduring just shortens the stun but the survivor gets off the shoulder.
Dribbling only works for the obsession and when the hook is near + no one body blocks.
Oh and the situation you mentioned can be countered by BT.
