This isn't an Event. Hallowed Blight 2018, Summer BBQ, Howling Grounds were events. Even last years Halloween event was somewhat of an event. BHVR has lied about exclusives, broke Ps4 and now they gave login rewards just to boost numbers. ######### BHVR!

I mean,it's kinda hard to discuss whether skins are good or not because everyone has a different taste,but doesn't this battlepass look a bit lackluster in comparison to the previous one?
We get 13 Outfits in this rift.
-6 outfits are from the mobile version
(I guess it's cool to get the skins that were previously only available on the mobile version,but i find them to be pretty boring to be honest except maybe hag and plague.They rather feel like they are only in the battle pass to make it look more worth than it really is)
-1 is the community made legion skin
(The concept of the skin was really cool and exciting but the execution feels quite underwhelming)
-6 outfits are new
(I'm very disappointed by those skins.These are supposed to be the selling point of the battlepass yet they don't really feel special or exciting at all.There's no wow factor,no thoughts like "damn those are some really awesome skins".
Anyone else that has the same feeling about this?
The current paid track is trash the free skin is better.

I was just saying that to my friend. Everything looks the same. Nothing is unique anymore. The new maps do not look better they look like reskins of the same idea. If they make every map look like this the fatigue is going to set in real quick.

Have to admit it's pretty sad when a game based around horror is failing at a holiday based around being scared. Hell, CoD: Warzone has blown it out of the water with their current BR Zombies mode, along with the Saw and Leatherface bundles they have going. A FPS game has beaten a horror game at halloween. This says a lot imo.
My kid was happy. I spent $140 total in cosmetics for Apex and Fortnite for him. BHVR got nothing and i will continue that trend.

The fps on PS4 is the worst it has ever been. The thing they put out and called an "event" is a joke. DBD should own Halloween but other games have done Halloween much better.They also are doing exclusives again after stating the reason they gave cosmetics and event items to users who never played the events or attended the events. @ALostPuppy nailed it with patch after patch being a mess. More players are seeing that they are incompetent and liars.
The problem for BHVR is this is the criticism they can see. A small percentage of players use this forum and others and follow them on social media. It is the players that don't and have had enough and potentially walk away or play something else that is lost revenue they will never recoup.

Which is exaclty why they wont listen. EXACT same thing happened last year! And even that wasnt as bad - you could earn ONE event cosmetic. Community was in uproar and they had to go back and fix it. What did they do this year? Did they learn? Nope! They double downed and took all earn-able event cosmetics away!
Well supposedly they are looking into it so I guess we will see. I'm not sure how they change things now that it "started" when no mechanic is in place other than generators and hooks.

Honestly be thankful. Right now the drop frame rates will cause headaches and nausea if you play too long. The last patch was a mess. I would open a support ticket. If you completed the tutorial i would restart the game and see if it will let you play.

DBD is beating itself. The downfall will be these godawful patches. PS4 is unplayable. Not everyone is buying the next gen consoles what happens to those players when we get more of these patches? BHVR GREED and utter INCOMPETENCE will be the downfall of this game.

This just shows that they are LIARS. NO MORE EXCLUSIVES! They should be embarrassed by this "event" and patch but they won't be because they continue to do this and people continue to not only white knight for them but continue to buy stuff. A Horror game with no actual Halloween Event. Fortnite a god awful game has a stronger Halloween presence.

I already am. Even though i work with some department heads that are complete ######### ups at some point i've seen them lose their job. It takes some time a lot longer than you would expect but they still get replaced.

BHVR has no Quality Assurance Team because if they did no one can be this incompetent and keep their job patch after patch. On PS4 the game is unplayable.

The frame rate has been bad on and off since the curtain call chapter but this is a WHOLE DIFFERENT BEAST ENTIRELY! This patch has made the game unplayable.

Yeah, not anymore. BHVR, you've surprised me yet again. Let's recap.
You BUY this game.
You have to BUY all the DLC's, and even if you don't it takes hours and hours to grind for a single character - and that's not including the licensed characters.
You have to BUY any of the usual cosmetics in the store.
You have to BUY what is by far the worst implemented Battlepass I've ever seen, but with by far the worst skins they've made in awhile.
So with how much of this game you have to outright buy you're telling they couldn't manage to give two free skins?
TWO? I know this probably didn't come from the Dev's themselves and probably some higherup, but it doesn't change the fact that somebody thought this was a good idea. Who in their right mind would look at this event and think it's fine? But hey, at least we get a pretty cool Legion skin, right?
I try to at least think about why they do things, but this is nothing but pure unadulterated greed. I can't think of another single reason they would do this. The worst thing is, they probably won't say a single, goddamn thing. And if they do, it'll be a measly little bull apology without doing anything to change the ######### thing they've done. Yeah, time to quit again - and this time I don't know if I'm coming back. Along with this, the incredibly bad optimization for consoles - BHVR has somehow become one of the worst, most money grubbing companies I've seen in a while. Hopefully, BHVR realizes just what the hell they are doing to their game, but somehow I doubt it.

I wouldn't even care what the reward would be. I'd settle for an Iridescent Shard. The crowns were rubbish, but collecting them was great fun.
I enjoyed that event. If you teamed up you both drain a plant. I like events where you have to play both sides for cosmetics. It hurts lobby times but is good to give someone who doesn't play both sides a new perspective.

The tomes have killed the game in general. No events last summer, halloween or winter. Gameplay in general was fundamentally changed since last year with Tome 1. You can tell what "challenge" a player is doing based on their play.

I see many say there frame rate improved. I don't get it mine got worse on a ps4 pro and my son on his ps4 slim, i also have this on xbox x and it all is worse. It has progressively got worse with the last several updates.
Would anyone who says it is better mine posting a 5 minute clip playing as killer and using their power and getting bloodlust new maps and indoor maps.
Survivor on indoor or the new maps when the killer has bloodlust, thantaphobia, sloppy, cloaks/uncloaks near you, use dead hard, Michael gets tier 3, killer uses their power near you, Hag trap set off.
It is so weird many of us complain it got worse while others say it improved.

Since the DS nerf/bug Killers are tunneling even more than before eating the 2 second stun to get someone out of the game.

When did you test the odds for the event Items ?
I guess for the newer events the odds should be fixed could that be ? I wouldnt know gut i assume it changed, i also believe i remember the devs addressing the issue back in the day. Would be good to know.
4th anniversary after the spawn rate was "fixed".

Exactly, i havent prestiged anyone once, have all perks on all Killers (well not anymore i guess, since i am working on getting the Blight and Felix stuff on everone, but still.)
Since there are so many superior skins for most chars in the shop you dont even get to use your prestige skins. So wasted time and efford in my opinion
I believe the wiki Guardian to a point did not want to admit to himself, that all his work on prestiging chars was for nothing. Also he insisted his numbers were in the code but since it seems that he didnt understand how these numbers actually effect the bloodwebs he basically posted misleading Information. Atleast that is my opinion. Do with it what you want.
Other than that it could be that devs do something for Prestige in the future but only cosmetic it seems.
Sadly i have owned the game since launch on PS4 and did multiple survivors and killers. I have all the perks on every survivor except the last 2 chapters i haven't purchased and the same for my killers. It was not worth it. The event items and offerings were more plentiful on the non prestiged characters. I tested it with 3 prestige 3 characters 1 million bp each vs 3 non and the spawn rate on average was 3 times better event items and addons for the non prestiged.
P.S I think we can all agree when it comes to BHVR's code for this game it can't be trusted. This is one of the most consistently broke/bugged game i've played in 35 years of gaming. The QA i'm convinced does not exist or it is a magic 8 ball they shake to determine if something passed.

it actually works against you or has in the past for event items and offerings you get less. It is purely for the look nothing else because even the survivors best offerings are mostly garbage. Killers usually get good stuff in every blood web all you are doing is adding to your grind.

I have over 300 on my survivors and some 3rd year ones on Kate and Dwight under 20. Legion has 70 3rd year and across my other killers i only have 53 of the 4th year ones.

If i'm with awful teammates not doing anything or i go in to struggle with kindred, i move on to the next game. I don't care about losing the pip. The killer got their kill and my teammates were useless they can deal with it.

The heartbeat was non existent in my games last night. This was another awful patch.

LOL just loaded in to a match on mount ormond resort and no one can move. BHVR should be ashamed of this update if they had any dignity left.

The music for the killer is excellent. He looks really good. Too early on his gameplay to judge. His perks are some of the strongest for a killer overall in awhile.
The maps look good but run poorly for me on a ps4 pro
The addition of the faded terror radius of killers has added to more killer grabs and i've seen the killer dc on the 4th gen pop 3 out of 7 matches.

I need one of these consoles that make this game run smooth on top of this new patch we got more bugs. Killer with faint to no terror radius, ds stun time reduced, totem on the redone preschool map can't be cleansed. Enjoy the break till the weekend.

Did your app crash? Maybe people are having issues with the software update or i've seen others complaining the servers are laggy. Maybe they are lagging out?
