Sometimes you have to just come to the understanding that some people in this world will just never graduate middle school mentality. Insensitivity will still be prevalent even long after we're gone from this world. I'm not saying it's okay but I always see the two extremes of etiquette, sometimes it's nice to just not care about what people are saying online about something.
Most do it for shock factor, some are just hateful/spiteful by design.
it was me...im the second option.

They can also start by giving the killers (who have first person Mori) the third person view to make it more cinematic.
truth...current moris like billy and wraith seem kinda lackluster when viewed from the killer angle

Wesker volleyball. I use his throw distance addon and the one that decreases how far i carry a surv in bound. My goal every game is to make survivors fly.

Internet anonymity
Hit the nail on the head. Going off of this, when people see others online in any capacity, they don't see other people. Instead, they just see words, game characters, or hear voices. These things don't attribute to humans specifically in most minds, leading many to subconciously mark other online players as lesser beings or just not people.

any killer is romantic if you think hard enough. I was just convincing my classmates earlier how i never lie and that everything i say is essentially scripture....this follows the same rule

Bipedal locomotion is a psuedo-teleport. It gets you where you want to go but slowly and not through obstacles. Oil is merely psuedo-water, it makes you slippery and penetrates most porous materials.
If you strip out the core identity of a thing when trying to relate it to another thing, the analogy ceases to work. Going through stuff is integral to a teleport. If the ability doesn't go through things, it's no longer related to a teleport in any way. They don't share enough properties to be related to one another after a certain point. What you're getting at is ridiculous and poorly phrased and thought out. It's okay, you know better for next time.
Isn't teleportation theoretically just moving extraordinarily fast either via a small pocket dimension used as a bridge or via just moving at incredible speeds to the point that teleportation seems the only logical explanation? im lookin to get philosophical ya know?

Unpopular opinion but I'm actually pretty okay with these changes. I may not be a hardcore dbd player but I see some potential for fun. It's not like I slugged anyway

I'm sorry but he got me back into the game and I just love doing a surplus of romantic wallslams on any survivor that enters my sight.

meh i actually look forward to this update as a killer main myself. it seems more interesting than horrid to me. that or i just cant find it in me to care.

Hey man i got several classes to sleep through or spend typing up a satire rulebook if i ever feel motivated to do more than stare into space and think about playing the hit game Final Fantasy 14 for upwards of 8 hours straight.

Yeah this happens a lot, although in my games when I win as Killer the survs typically aren't rude they just leave as soon as they die
The last surv is the one most likely to say gg or be a bit rude.
The opposite is also true, I'll see a lot of killer players say gg when they stomp my team and I but if we win, they either don't say anything or are rude about it
im on the killer side of things and i generally try to be cordial when spoken to though if i get absolutely stomped on a bad map i spam the leave button on the endgame screen as i may have thick skin but i know that dbd players have a history of being able to offend any and everyone and i dont need to relapse to my playstation days of raging.

I think it was supposed to be intended as a “be careful wesker is around” but with distressing it surprisingly can make him a stealth killer as you can almost always hear his TR, meaning you really don’t know he is actually near you until you actually see him

Well they nerfed hatch so it only spawns at the last survivor alive. Also they added 5 seconds to open the hatch.
Before you could actually make a 4 man escape with hatch.
Well.. didnt they say that Mori's will be nerfed in return? Cause they were the "hatch" on the killer side?
Instead nothing happened and now they want to make a free mori at the last survivor.
Oh my god, that's the change? I've been spending the past while thinking I'm just blind as hell when I try to find hatch earlier to make note of and then it'd spawn in some really obvious spot. I thought I was just that out of shape for this game ;-;

It's not unavoidable. Game design should take things into account.
In this case, to greatly discourage survivor's working with killers.... simply don't allow Survivor's to see aura's when downed, and allow option to disable spectating (had a discord SWF troll me this way the other day).
problem solved.
Yes game design should account for things but that doesn't resolve everything and you must understand that. You keep glancing over the fact that the people truly in control of these situations are, well, people. I believe the proper way to go about this is to attempt to appeal to make trolling like this more enforced. As for the spectating thing, I could agree with an option to opt out of being spectated.

Honestly, hatch was so hard nerfed and Keys are so useless, apart maybe for the addon were you see obsession.
I guess i may as well ask now since I did take a break for a long time. What was the hatch nerf and key nerf again? I never really noticed a change since i dont use them much

It really doesn't, just because the killer slugs for the 4k, doesn't mean he's using the 3rd survivor for Intel
I hereby announce the canon of your reply capitalizing Intel is due to the 3rd survivor being an employee for Intel and can be coerced into divulging the deep and dark secrets of that graphics chip.

no, it's up to game design
I don't believe I follow. The game design may allow this to happen, but that is unavoidable. The real factor that decides if this will happen is the player who decides to be the rat. You are seeing the game design as guilty by association or by enabling when in reality its just an issue with a group of players and their choices.

you are in the very few minority. most killers take the information and get the kill
Unfortunately, its just up to people's morals. When playing an online game, people aren't seeing other players as people too, but rather as characters in a game. So more likely than not, you look less like a human being and more like a sacrificial pawn to your teammates. As messed up as it is, there's not really a way to prevent this besides filing a report and hoping something happens. They won't nerf auras due to the usefulness they provide, like the one dev said earlier. Hopefully you get luckier with not having to deal with these situations though. Also I noticed you made another post about the same topic. The eagerness for change is present, but too much repeating your view will only devalue your argument.

@SilentShepherd said:
A downed survivor is almost at death, they shouldn't be able to see the aura of teammates at all. It serves no purpose. A downed survivor should crawl around on their own, until a teammate saves them
It only enables trolling by salty teammates who tell the killer where you are and work with the killer when it's down to last 2 people.
Im a 100% solo q player. Sometimes you can be in a game with TERRIBLE teammates, only 1 generator gets done (the one you solo did), and the entire team is almost dead already. 3 or 4 gens left to do, and now there's only 2 survivors left - you and the other guy. The other guy gets downed. The killer refuses to pick him up to scumbag their way to 4K and refuse to give you a shot at the hatch... and now the downed survivor starts crawling towards you, letting the killer know your direction.
I have been victim of Killers breaking Terms of Service. If I had a good game by looping and frustrating killer so he can't catch me, and then it's only 2 left.... I've seen Killers literally communicating with the other Survivor, non-verbally. By picking them up and down a lot, and letting them know they won't be hooked... if they snitch on where the final survivor is at, to deny me the hatch attempt. I HAVE SEEN THIS HAPPEN TOO MANY TIMES IN SOLO Q!!!
This makes no damn sense and needs to be removed immediately for the health of the Solo Q experience.
yknow, i actually had a game as wesker the other day where some salty guy was sandbagging a mikaela, so i chased him only and then when he was down, he tried to rat out the mikaela. so being the team player i aspire to be, i followed mikaela around until she realized i was friendly, picked up the other guy, dropped him in the fields, and mori'd him while the mikaela rightfully tbagged the guy before giving her hatch. mad disrespect for the people who try to save their own skins bey being a dick

Blight was nearly unsuable on console for many months, he's also recieved a few welcome changes on top over time (while also removing exploits)
Realistically, people just eventually realize that Mobility is the strongest tool a killer has, and for Blight, he has plenty of it.
Ah. That makes sense as I play on console and immediately fell in love with the mobility and just how fun the ability is. I was wondering why I never experienced those problems I would always hear about.

@KerJuice said:
I used to give up and let myself die on hook. Usually you can tell when your teammates are stupid kids trying to copy Ayrun with their flashlights, and that the match is going nowhere fast. Other times you think your teammates suck, but in actuality they are pretty decent and just made a mistake that screwed you over. I’ve unintentionally sandbagged a teammate or two trying to body block the killer. Other times the killer is just too damn good. So damn good, you’d actually pay money to seem him go against the 4 man SWF ######### you have to deal with when you play killer.
‘Anyways, I stopped letting myself go on hook for a combination of two reasons- 1)the revamped struggle system kind of forces you to continue 2) I now have a desire to try and pip every match. So no matter how bleak ######### looks at the beginning of a match, I hang in there with the thought process of: “ok, at the very least let me try to black pip instead of depip.” I already accepted death at that point, so then it just becomes a matter of “when?” Can I get enough points to black pip before I get taken out the game? I try to focus harder and make the best decisions with what little time I have left in the match because my teammates and I are getting chased and hooked quickly. The personal challenge of trying to black pip and me accepting a loss in advance helps me navigate through what I used to consider- a waste of my time.
It doesn’t happen all the time, but the games where I actually “hung in there,” and escaped tend to be some of the most thrilling & fun matches. Those games are the ones where the killer had it in the bag so to speak, but we the solo que survivors rallied together and fought back. Not everyone survives, but to come back from nearly getting 4Ked & 5 genned to getting all gens done and 2 escaping is pretty damn awesome. Bonus points if I’m one of the two who made it out. (Man, sometimes Deliverance & Unbreakable can literally be game changers). So games like that and other little things has shown me it’s just best to try and keep at it.
Now as a killer, when ######### turns left fast at the beginning, I just shake my head and accept the ass pounding from SWF. What the hell am I going to do? Ragequit like a little girl? Hell no. When the 5th gen is done I hit the exit gate for them, then run into shack basement and cry in a corner facing the wall.

Yeah, I'm not so sure about these builds..
Huntress lullaby is a worthless hex, not to mention it will lose all stacks if it respawns with undying
Most people on red ranks will hit the skillchecks anyway, even if you get huntress lullaby to 5 stacks (which is rare)
Overwhelming presence also won't work half of the time, because asleep survivors are not in your "terror radius"
in my experience 4 stacks is the most difficult cause the sound throws you off but 5 stacks just is easy for some reason

After some balancing this could actually be a nice feature

As a PS4 player in rank 1, the survivor teammates I get with globes are equal to my skill but when I’m matched with other PS4...that is why I won’t turn off cross. Cross killers, specifically pc, are much better than my homeland’s killers so that took a bit to learn but at this point it is safe to say,
Survivors in cross play = equal(excluding the outliers on all platforms that urban to a corner to sc)
Killers = significantly better on pc and for those of you pc killers that I looped, I apologize and for those of you who play very optimal, gg. For both groups, I commend you for taking the killer role and knowing how to play optimal
