Don't know if it happened the same way as I wasn't near the survivor, but somethind similar happened in the game I've just had.
The killer could pick other people up, and the stuck survivor was hovering above the killer.

After the endgame collapse finished, the game kept on.Here's my game logs from immediately after that game :

I went against a wesker recently running a similar build and he scared the living hell out of me. It was hilarious.
Had a similar experience with Wesker using the addon that makes you oblivious after spraying yourself.
Me : It's so calm here
Wesker running behind me : =)

Eh.
There aren't any horror licenses I'm particularly fond of, so it's as good as any. Bonus point for being nonhuman I guess !
-
I hope so as well. I don't want more celebrities, in my opinion they don't belong in the game.
-
Yes !
-
I think it would be too strong to remove it, and also would make the Doctor's red stain addons a lot less fun.
-
Legion + Iridescent Button / Julie's Mixtape
Enduring / Spirit Fury / Hubris
I think that should get them destroyed pretty quick !
-
I've had this error a LOT these past few weeks, despite having a good connection and literally being on call with friends with no glitches to the call.
Didn't have it today though thankfully, but some days it happens like, 4 times and I just have to give up on playing.
-
Probbly Plague. I would miss Corrupt but at least I wouldn't have to face her again.
-
I used to play a Specialist (but almsot gimmicky because it mostly only works once) Lithe, Quiet & Quiet, Dance With Me, Windows build.
I also like having the fun lootbox chest build, which would be Gimmick.
Nowadays I'm more of a Jack of All Trades with builds with usually one strong heal perk (at the moment, I'm in love with Autodidact, but used to be We'll Make It), a coordination aura perk (Aftercare my beloved), a chase aura perk (Windows), and then the last perk is anybody's guess depending on my mood.
-
I usually leave them be, because a Legion always loves a guaranteed Frenzy recharge point.
(People tend to raise AFK survivors, so... It's free Frenzy ! =D )
-
I honestly thought this was a feature, as it's just understanding how to camera pull works. It's just one of Hag's many counters, like setting her traps off when she's carrying someone.
That being said, if it did turn out to be unintended, I won't be sad to see it gone.
-
Can confirm as recently as this weekend, still glitched.
Might be a shot in the dark, but I think it's that the last skillcheck's hitbox is halved while visually still being whole ? I generally hit skillchecks on the second half of the hitbox, as my response time is what it is.
Everytime I've tested the perk with a friend in customs, I was focused on hitting the skillchecks to prove that it didn't work, and hit the last skillcheck in its first half, and the perk worked as intended.
However, in real games everytime the gen got blocked despite me thinking that I hit the skillcheck at the right time, the cursor was in the perfect middle of the skillcheck, which would be a funny coincidence that I would hit it perfectly like that each time.
That's why I think the hitbox is halved, but I'll have to test it further to be certain.

I've had the same issues recently.
Never had an internet issue in 450h of playing, never got disconnected, until earlier this month. Now in 3 weeks I've gotten disconnected something like 10 times.
Sometimes I'll go 15 games without issues and sometimes 3 games in a row I get disconnected, until I disinstall and reinstall. Now it works again for a while, but next time I play I'll get disconnected again. It's all very irritating and I don't believe it comes from my internet as it has always been solid.
Platform : PC - Steam
Location : France (West EU servers ?)

That was me when I started playing, honestly. Killer felt so overpowered compared to survivor that I had trouble noticing goodwill unless I was explicitly given hatch.
Nowadays since I have a much better understanding of how the game works, I'm much less irritated at the killer since so much of the game hinges on survivors making mistakes. It's much easier to notice when killers are being fair or kind. Most killers I go against I have no complaints about. I don't even see that much tunneling (maybe one in 10 or so games).
Some of my friends still struggle though, especially against some killers they dislike particularly.
-
Perks of being bad at the game is that you don't see that many hackers, blatant or otherwise. The only one I've seen throughout my time playing was 6th anniversary, a Meg with instablind flashlight that went through walls, insta heals, and no collision. She was harassing the killer, but left when me and my two friends didn't seem to find her fun. She just DC'd when killer went to a corner and we kept pointing at her. The rest of the game was farming with the killer and having a slug race, so it still ended on a positive.

I really enjoy playing as the Hag, though lately I've been trying to improve my overall chasing skills, which the Hag's methods of hitting and downing survivors is far from conventional. It's fun, I love it, but I'm not going to get better trying to smack someone down as Pinhead by playing the Hag, for example. XD
Oh yeah, the Doctor's addons are great, too! I haven't played as Giggles in a while. I should do that.
Yeah, beyond what you mentioned, I'm not really sure what to make of the Tombstone addons, myself. I know a popular point against them is that you're being heavily punished for teammates' mistakes, but I just view that as the survivor experience in general, really. I do agree that it's incredibly strong to just slap someone out of a trial without any hooking involved and that it's annoying to instantly lose the game like that for the player getting mori'd, but I'm probably getting gored by the killer anyways, so I honestly don't think much of it. XD
Since I mentioned Pinhead at the start of this reply, I'd like to add that I really enjoy his Chatterer's Tooth addon. Being Undetectable is one of my favorite things as a killer. That, and I don't like adopting what seems to be the typical Pinhead playstyle of "force a constant chain hunt and win that way." There was a period of time when people would quit anytime I tried to play as the Box Boy and I'm just like, "Dudes, calm down, I don't even care about my box. It can take care of itself!" XD
I've never played Pinhead but I enjoy him very much ! I didn't know about Chatterer's Tooth but it sounds really fun =)
I've heard of that playstyle as well, but honestly Pinhead is one of my favorite killers to face. Without even touching on his balance (which in my opinion, he's at a really nice spot), most Pinheads I encounter are really well behaved. I've never been BM'd by this killer, and while they're almost never friendly or farming, they usually play very fair and won't go out of their way to be super ruthless. At least the ones I've faced =)
So know that you have at least one person on this playerbase that has high regard for your killer pick xD
-
I've had a lot of fun with this perk, so I can confirm ! =)

I completely agree! I figure when most people think of gameplay changing addons, they probably think of the infamous Tombstone Piece. I don't really have much of an opinion on the addon, personally, since I don't see it much and don't use it. But I know a lot of people hate it, which is kind of sad because I worry that people will extend the dislike to all killer addons that change how a killer is played.
A lot of people have problems with Michael Myers in Dead by Daylight, but he along with the Hag really encompass what I feel like addons should offer. Their addons provide such diversity in their playstyles. I feel like for a lot of killers, you can still achieve variety, but it's mostly through perk combinations. I love being able to play as a killer where the survivors won't immediately know what they're up against when they hear the terror radius.
Just out of curiosity, do you have an opinion on the Tombstone Piece addon for Michael Myers? I have some thoughts on it, but I feel like I don't have enough information to form a proper opinion, so I'd be open to discussing it, if you or anyone is interested. :3
Hag has in my opinion the best set of addons in that regard, she has a solid kit that just enhance her power and then when you get to purples and iris it's pure fun ! =D
I'm also very fond of the Doctor's rarer addons, I think it's extremely fun as survivor to have the red stain following you or illusion TRs, stuff that make you stay on your toes and that you wouldn't expect from the killer usually.
I don't really have an opinion on Tombstone Piece, I've never played it and I think I've only played against it once, and it was with the infinite tier 3. I feel like it's much stronger than your usual gameplay-altering addon, but at the same time I rarely ever see it played, so my opinion is just an opinion, and a barely informed one at that. =)
Yeah, that's pretty much it, I have no idea how it fits in the balance of the game but so far it hasn't bothered me personally X)
-
Mostly I bring my own items (browns and yellows only because I am a rare item gremlin and must hoard) but I've had a lot of fun with chest builds too, so sometimes I'll just look through chests.
Sometimes if my medkit runs out and a chest is nearby, I'll also try it out.
-
I think it's for all three, but I'm really fond of the "changes gameplay" ones. They're fun and fresh.
-
Shadowstep is still solid, and even though CoH is not really worth running to or blessing on its own, with Shadowstep it's like, you know, might as well. I've had a few games where running these two really helped, especially when fighting off a 3gen or against Nurse's Calling.
-
I'm curious as well, especially since, if I remember well, they'd said that the purpose was not to nerf accidental 3gens that were the doing of the survivors being careless, but specifically nerfing killers choosing 3 gens from the start and staying on them.
Gen spawns could be looked at, some killer powers could be looked at (Trapper Hag & DM come to mind), a new mechanic could be introduced or aura reading, like maybe if the killer hovers in the same area for too long, the gens of that area are highlighted to survivors to make them aware of the 3gen that's being kept, and maybe a gen speed boost on those gens. Basically some sort of Deja Vu-esque mechanic.
-
Aftercare. Playing without it makes me feel as blind and lost as I did as a 2h player.
-
It really depends.
When I'm playing survivor in the morning/afternoon during weekend or summer vacations, my escape rate is closer to 30-40%. Most people at these times are not really sweating on either side.
When I'm playing survivor in the evening, particularly saturday evening, when everyone is sweating, my escape rate is closer to 10-15%.
Generally, a friend and I have found that when survivor incentives are on, the mood is more chill, and at the time killer incentives arrive it's sign to log off and play something else.
-
Si j'ai bien compris tu joues sur pc mtn ?
Il suffit de bouger la caméra avec la souris, fais juste attention à bien switcher de touches directionnelles (passer de z à s) si tu le fais en chase =)
-
As was said before, letting everyone go is just tanking your mmr, you dont gain mmr from escaped survivors.
I'm a very merciful killer, and often let people go (as yourself, I'm rather empathetic and also quite enjoy being friendly), and if I don't, then almost always either give hatch or gate to the last one.
My mmr is quite low and not increasing fast, which makes it so that my games are always manageable even if I bring meme or niche perks, provided I really try. I've found it to be a very comfortable and pleasant way to play the game, as the survivors are happy and chill (I mostly face casuals, and at some point they can tell I'm not sweating), I'm happy and chill (I don't need to resort to meta or camping or tunneling), and i can play all the perks I want.
Some people will call this out for "manipulating mmr to get easy matches", but I call it "I'm busy and have little time to play killer and improve, so I might as well make everyone happy and be chill". =)
-
I'd say slugging. I don't like being slugged mid match since you never know if it's a trap for another person to come raise you and get the double down, or something.
But when I play killer and notice that fate made me find and down quickly the dead on hook person instead of their teammates, I usually leave them slugged near a hook so that they know I could have killed them, but left one more chance for them to play it out.
On the more minor things, using Broken or Blindness effects on addons/perks. Blindness particularly is underrated and I like using it, but as someone who uses a lot of aura reading and sometimes plays solo, I don't like seeing it played against me.
There's not much on the other way around, as I'm exactly the kind of bad survivor I'm fond of as killer.

That's not even your fault though... 😭 Don't think you HAVE to run a perk just because of that situation. There's no reason for you to feel terrible about it, they just chose a inconvenient spot to heal at and they most likely weren't even annoyed at you because when you're in chase you always wanna go for the strongest loops in the area.
Don't worry about me feeling like I have to run a perk for these situations ! ^^
I actually really like running Aftercare now, as my sense of direction is very bad and I often struggle with finding points of interest. Seeing my teammates auras lets me know where gens are and where chases are happening, and it's been so much more comfortable playing now that I use it. It's also great to coordinate with solos as they know where I am if they need a heal or if we need to decide who goes for the unhook =D
-
I wouldn't like it too much, no. The killer powers were much more useful than the survivor ones, in my experience. Being able to expose the survivor, ignore stuns, or break pallets immediately while also chasing is much more efficient than a fake pallet that 80% of the playerbase can't get stuns with even semi-consistently.
-
It happened once that I was in chase, and from the corner of my eye see that shack is not that far. I'm terrible at looping in general and thought "hey for once might as well try shack"
The two other injured survivors were healing in there. We barged in like the FBI.
I stayed in the doorway to bodyblock the killer and give them a little time to run somewhere, and got downed, but I felt terrible.
I've been running Aftercare since then and it has not happened again thankfully ! =)
-
They might need it.
Almost every round I see Sloppy, Franklin's, and Deadlock or DMS, Pain Res...
But if they do have that shake up, let it be through BUFFING unused perks. BHVR is on the right track with that last midchapter having more buffs to niche perks.
As much as seeing the same perks often annoys me, none of them are OP at the moment and it would achieve nothing to nerf them.
-
You might NOT want to make a Threads account though.
It's not allowed in the EU for a reason (very egregious private data theft including political preference and such) and once you've got one you can't erase it without also terminating your Instagram if you've got one.
It's all around very fishy and people have had dubious experiences with it so far.
-
Killers noticing some survivors are toxic and punishing them rather than the ones just trying to enjoy the game will always be cute to me.
Earlier I had a game with a friend where one person DC'd and the other solo killed themselves on first hook. When my friend got caught, he told me to hide and wait for hatch, as the game was basically over at this point. Since everything happened rather quickly, I didn't have much interaction with the killer (Legion).
When he caught me, he hit me on hook continuously until I died. The endgame chat looked something like this :
Killer : That's what you get for not helping your teammates ! Why wouldn't you unhook them ??
Me : [Solo] killed themselves on hook before I could rescue and [Friend] told me to wait for hatch ^^'
Killer : Wait, really ? I'm so sorry ! I thought you let them die !! I hope you'll have better games next, sorry again !
It was very cute how up in arms he was about a survivor not being altruistic !
I also got an Oni who took offense on my behalf when teammates blamed me in chat for their deaths, and defended me even when before he'd been a pretty ruthless opponent.
Anyways !
Sorry for the long comment, I'm just happy I met some cool people today and your situation reminded me of that. =)
-
Update : I have disinstalled and reinstalled, and have not had any issue in the past 6h or so of playing today (morning & afternoon). It might have been a fault in the files that was making the game work harder than it needed to run !
-
Hag ! She looks amazing, her power is really cool, she has great cosmetics, the best mori in the game (in my humble opinion), and her addons are very varied and impactful on her playstyle.
All around an amazing killer.
-
Dead Dawg is the only map I purposefully send myself to with an offering as survivor
I reserve them for whenever I've gotten Midwich & Autohaven maps back to back and need to see a little sunlight and have a straightforward layout
I don't really care about the balance of it otherwise, I've had great games in both roles on it
-
Please.
I don't know how much longer I can bear to hear Whiskers' voice. Guy is so annoying.
-
I don't have any horror licenses I'm super fan of, I guess anything from the Dark Pictures Anthology would be cool.
From a non horror license, I've said it before and I'll say it again, a Psycho (Borderlands) skin for Legion would be amazing.
-
Definitely Warhammer.
Spirit is cooler than Oni in my opinion, and you get Hange and Kenny's cosmetics, which are arguably the best from the AOT crossover.
Armored has Eren's cosmetic, and it's so ugly in game it's doing its whole bundle a disservice that even Annie and Mikasa's cosmetics can't overthrow.
-
It's been a long time issue that chases are not as rewarding as doing gens. Especially during the event when completing a generator gives you a bloodpoints bonus of a few thousands.
-
I really dislike the trend to add voice lines to characters, as I find them to often be annoying if not cringe-worthy. Pinhead's are fine in my opinion, but I really dislike Wesker's voice and lines, and if Nic Cage is as talkative I'll respectfully take his perks and put them on someone else.
I don't want the game to broaden its thematics to action and anime, I just want it to stay horror themed and for the love of everything unholy, make the characters quiet or give an option to turn off voice lines.
-
Aw, looks great !!
The Hag has been hugged. My purpose has been met ! =D

The most funny part is I have 2 drawings that fit to both of your names.
I am now very curious ! X)
-
It's a loss (of time) if I didn't have fun. If I did my challenge, had a good time, messed around with survivors, it's a win in my books.
When playing seriously, I see 2K as a draw. Those rarely happens though. My mmr is impacted by how many friendly games I do, so in most games if I really wanted a 3K or a 4K I would get one, I just choose not to sweat for it.
-
Well, DbD is unplayable in the evening for me as I get lagged out, and Hollow Knight Pale Court just came out...
-
I think for people who Make Your Choice camp it's not gonna change anything. They waited to tp before, they'll wait to tp now.
For others though it's a nice buff !
-
I was always a very soft killer with the mindset of "just here to have fun", and I usually find my fun either in the killer's mechanic and using their power (a 0K where I did some good chaining on Legion is still a game I had fun in), or in player interactions.
I've found that I have much, much more fun in playing with this attitude (and meet many fun opponents as well who are down to chat and joke around) than my more competitive friends find in being more efficient and ambitious.
In fact, it's more my survivor mindset that has changed, as when learning, I used to be very salty about long dying streaks, but now I consider a game that we could have won but fumbled at the end to be just as satisfying as an escape, because I know we had our chances, and that when I'll be better at the game, I'll be able to escape such games.
-
Situation in EU is also miserable. In game ping does not appear high, but you get rubberbanding and lag, or get disconnected, all the same. It's damn near unplayable in the evening.
Hopefully with the PTB being released it will channel some players there and make the servers suffocate a bit less. Otherwise I don't think I'll be able to even play the rest of the event.
