You need to Mindgame only. I mained every killer that came in DBD. And with Next DLC's someone leaved from my favourite list but Clown (and Pig with Legion) still here and will be here! You need to taught how play him! It is possible
Mindgames are harder when you can see the Killer. Look at this situation. A Survivor drops a pallet and you don't immediately break it. With Clown, you have to throw bottles and hope that the Survivor forgets where you were at and/or doesn't see you in time. If they keep vaulting the pallet, they can make the gas completely useless. With Hag, you can place a trap near a loop and most of the time get a hit (unless they have Dead Hard, a pallet, or a vault). It's also easier to mindgame at pallets and vaults with them because the Survivor might not know which one is the real Hag. They could easily end up vaulting right into your claws.
-
I feel bad for them but I still kill them so I don't have to farm forever.
-
@Eveline said:
But it takes forever sometimes...It takes four minutes for a Survivor to bleed out. Hatch standoffs can easily last upwards of 10-20 minutes.
-
Why do you think this?
-
To prevent free escapes and because their objective is to kill everyone.

I made this a few days ago for another thread:
Hillbilly/Leatherface:
Iridescent Chains: Survivors hit by the Chainsaw receive the Broken status effect for at least 120 seconds.Sturdy Chassis: Grants immunity to stuns while chainsaw sprinting. Slightly increases the Chainsaw's movement speed. Slightly decreases chainsaw charge time. Reduces the Chainsaw's cooldown (not sure by how much though). For this one I was thinking about giving a Leatherface exclusive effect of the chainsaw run not stopping when breaking a pallet.
Nurse:
Memories of Andrew: Unlocks potential in her aura-reading ability. While charging your blink, the auras of Survivors within X meters (not sure, probably somewhere around 16-24) are revealed to you.Paramedic's Last Breath: Silences the blink.
Since the devs are trying to give every Killer two Ultra Rare add-ons, I decided to make some add-ons for the Killers that only have one. You don't have to read them if you don't want to.
Doctor:
Project Awakening Notes/Iridescent Queen: Your Static Field affects the entire map. Shock Therapy range is increased by at least 50%. Slightly increases the charge time of shock therapy. Illusions now have collision against a Survivor.Huntress:
Mother's Axe/Family Photo: Hatchets automatically refill every X seconds or slightly increases movement speed. Hatchet targets suffer from the Deep Wound effect and have 15/20 seconds (not sure how long) to Mend themselves. Iridescent Head will override the Deep Wound effect. -
I'd love this at the end of the game. It'd be good to know if you encountered an overaltruistic SWF group or just a couple of bad Survivors.
I think we should still be able to see the Survivor's username and profile so if we happen to remember that a player plays like an #########, we can just dodge them.
-
I think Huntress Lullaby is a good perk already, it just needs the notification to not appear when the Survivor gets their first skill check and better totem spots. However, this is a very interesting perk idea. Maybe it could become a general Killer perk in the future?

THE. PERK. IS. TOO. POWERFUL.And it doesn't prevent Killers from camping at all, all they do is Prox Camp, every single one of em.
Most they should get is a boom notification, not 4 seconds of aura
You can tell me about the counters to it for the rest of eternity, it's not gonna change my mind
K?
Wow so you know the counters but ignore them in hopes of making the game even easier for you? That's sad. Seems like all you want to do is gen rush.
-
The last two events seem to be test runs for a secondary objective. I think the devs are going to keep doing test runs like those until the community thinks that they're balanced.
-
You get found first or you're the easiest to catch.

Clown - he's better than Hag but if you want perks the Hag is the answer.Clown better than Hag? What? Hag has insane map pressure and has an easier time cutting off loops and getting in hits than Clown does. Clown is stuck in one area and while his bottles do make it easier to get a hit in, there's some situations where the slowdown does nothing.
-
I just play normally against them.
-
Add not letting you heal them when you have We'll Make It to that list and remove using Self Care and Urban.
I really hate when Survivors run after I save them with We'll Make It. I always run the perk, so this is something that really annoys me. Do you not want to be healed in 8 seconds? The game even tells you when someone has We'll Make It, so you can't say that you didn't know. I understand running away from the hook so the Killer can't immediately hook you again if they come back before the heal is finished, but not running for miles and refusing to let me heal you. If they show no signs of stopping then I just let them be. If the Killer downs them, then too bad. You should've accepted my help.
Not all Survivors are bad when running SC. The only "bad" ones are Survivors who will not stop healing if you run up to them and the Survivors that immediately run to a corner, heal, and then just keep being immersed. Same thing with Urban. The only bad Survivors who have UE are the ones who stay hidden forever and don't even try to help. I always run SC and UE but I will try my best to assist the other Survivors. Being immersed for the entire game and doing nothing would get really boring.
-
Survivors like that will never admit that they did anything wrong. All they want to do is bully the Killer and escape every single time and if anything goes wrong, it's automatically the Killer's fault. You beating them probably dealt a serious blow to their egos and so they went all out on you.
-
Doctor. If skins count, then Hallowed Blight Doctor.
-
This is good. Makes tier 3 more useful and helps prevent unsafe unhooks. Besides it was kind of the same thing before the buff, except you just had to SC, something that you couldn't do in tier 3 anyways.

And don't think of killers like Freddy who has absolutely no counterplay against a hatch-standoff!
God you're so incredibly wrong. Freddy has the BEST counterplay against Hatch. Slug the 3rd, hunt down the 4th. Simple. Any other killer may have difficulties finding the downed third survivor, after dealing with the fourth (unless they run Deerstalker).
Not Freddy.Doctor also doesn't need Deerstalker. He just has to put the Survivors into tier 3 and he'll be receiving their location with the screams and illusions. The illusions are not affected by Calm Spirit, meaning Doc can still easily track the Survivor.
-
I'm really hoping an offline mode is introduced when the Switch version comes out. I'd love to be able to play DbD whenever and wherever I want.
-
Pulling someone out of the Hatch and then having them rage quit on me because I didn't give them their free escape.
Tricking a Survivor into letting me grab them off of something (like during an unhook or when they're jumping into the Hatch).
-
Let me guess, the salty Survivor was the rank 2? How are people already at rank 2 anyways? Do they wake up the moment the ranks reset and play until they reach the red ranks?
If he was the one who got salty, you probably prevented him from reaching rank 1 that game and it pissed him off so much.
-
Spirit can use quite a bit of perks well. I would personally use Ruin, BBQ, Nurse's, and Stridor/Haunted Ground/Make Your Choice/Monitor and Abuse/Whispers.
For Clown, I can't remember if Enduring or Brutal Strength works best with him because of the slowdown his bottles give. Just run the perk that gets you the most out of the slowdown. I'd run Ruin, BBQ, Nurse's/Bamboozle, and Enduring/Brutal Strength.
-
Ruin/BBQ, Distressing, Unnerving Presence, Overcharge. Any add-ons.
Ruin, Distressing/Huntress Lullaby, Unnerving Presence, Overcharge. Calm - "Carter's Notes" and Calm - "Class II"/Order - "Carter's Notes"
Enduring, Spirit Fury, Bamboozle/Sloppy Butcher, Ruin. Any add-ons (recommend one electrode though)
Any perk would work with this build. Interview Tape and High Stimulus Electrode.
Distressing, Sloppy Butcher, Coulrophobia, and Thanatophobia/A Nurse's Calling. Any add-ons.
-
I'm not sure what you're trying to say. Are you trying to say that the Killer should be able to hit M1 after 2 seconds and instantly down the recently escaped Survivor?
-
What? The FPS has never dropped that bad for me as or against Doc and I've been maining him since September 2017.
-
There's not enough Killers for them at their rank. I'm impressed that you managed to get a 3k. Games like that usually end in the Killer being dominated and getting either a 0k or a 1k.

Been having killer games where the ranks are heavily skewed like this. Doesn't affect survivor games.
Stuff like this happens if there are no other killers they can face. After some time, killers from other ranks are considered for matchmaking. Guess the killer population is dying slowly.
Seems like people are started to get fed up with the current state of the game for Killers.

Being a Doctor main, this video immediately comes to mind:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJ1zTKdQQ_MThis is a really good buff. It would provide a good alternative to Ruin if you don't want to take the risk with Ruin. I would love to see it as a part of 2.6.0.
@not_Queen @Patricia
Could you guys please pass this buff on to the balance team? -
Is every Killer not named Nurse or Billy meme tier to you?Acromio said:That would be a step towards pulling her out of meme tier, so it's never gonna happen.

I’m not saying it’s impossible. I’m just saying that finding them was way harder than it should have been, especially when you think of how slow Killer progression was, how long Survivor queues are, and the fact that it’s a limited time event. Sorry for trying to have a life and not constantly play DbD.Spencer said:@SnakeSound222 said:
No, it had a purpose: making as much money as possible. Why else were the lanterns so hard to find and later coins took so many points to get? BHVR wanted you to dump as much money as possible into this event. Grinding was secondary.I found a lantern nearly every game...and completed both survs. outfits... without spending any money. They have a store where you can spend money.
-
Evil Incarnate: Not only does this require a special build that makes it much easier for Survivors to gen rush you, but Survivors tend to get pretty salty against this build and will DC, which will prevent you from obtaining the trophy. DCs really shouldn't count against it. It's bullshit that they do.
From the Void She Kills: This one is hard because you have to use at least three blinks and hope you're far enough from the gen and won't make it there before you reach your third blink. You also have to hope the Survivor's dumb enough to not leave the gen. This one is best achieved by farming with the Survivors and asking them to help you with the trophy.
Skilled Huntress: Not that bad on PC and XB1, but the requirements are different on PS4. You have to hit 100 Survivors from 24 meters away instead of just 20 Survivors. I'm a little surprised that the trophy hasn't been updated to reflect the PC and XB1 versions.
-
I don't have a lot of time to really play, but when I do, I almost always play as our lord and savior Doctor first.

When it comes to playing against him it's the generous hitbox on the chainsaw that bugs me. Seems like if you're anywhere within a half-mile radius it counts as a hit.I'd love that half-mile hitbox. Whenever I play him, it feels like my hitbox is half of an inch. Whenever it looks like I should get a hit, I don't and Billy just keeps zooming.

Anyways, bearing in mind I have NO DLC characters besides the free nurse, ergo no DLC perks,Not even Huntress? She's a free DLC, you just have to download her from the store.
Is that a console thing? Because on Steam it comes automatically unlocked with the main game.
I think it is. I remember having to download Huntress from the PS Store.
-
Just ignore them. He's probably not skilled enough to reach the higher ranks so he deranks to bully new players.

So I just recently saw this perk on my bloodweb for the hillbilly. Is it a decent perk? It SOUNDS decent, but then, even at the low ranks I play on right now, it seems that crows don't often get set off, unless it's by me. But maybe people don't care about crows at the higher ranks?I've heard it's a pretty good perk, haven't used it myself though.
Anyways, bearing in mind I have NO DLC characters besides the free nurse, ergo no DLC perks,

Having a Dwight run to the Hatch and jump in while I was standing there. I grabbed him and he immediately DC'd. I was Doctor by the way.
-
Oh man, I would love this.
-
It's the same thing with Killers. Attacks that should hit will completely miss, hitting an object or the air instead.
-
Hillbilly/Leatherface:
Iridescent Chains: Survivors hit by the Chainsaw receive the Broken status effect for at least 120 seconds.

Here are some add-ons for Killers that need one more Ultra Rare add-on:
Doctor:
Project Awakening Notes/Iridescent Queen: Your Static Field affects the entire map. Shock Therapy range is increased by at least 50%. Slightly increases the charge time of shock therapy. Illusions now have collision against a Survivor.
Huntress:
Mother's Axe/Family Photo: Hatchets automatically refill every X seconds or slightly increases movement speed. Hatchet targets suffer from the Deep Wound effect and have 15/20 seconds (not sure how long) to Mend themselves. Iridescent Head will override the Deep Wound effect.

When it comes to perks from licensed DLC, you have to pray that they end up in the Shrine. That's the only way you can obtain them without spending money.
-
Killers x Hooks
Survivors x Generators -
It was the same thing with the Hallowed Blight, except Killers had long queue times. I'm wondering if the devs are using the longer queue times as incentives to just buy the cosmetics. These issues should've been fixed after Hallowed Blight. They shouldn't have made their way into Moonrise.
-
Doctor: Ruin/BBQ, Distressing, Unnerving, and Overcharge or Ruin, Enduring, Spirit Fury, and Bamboozle/Sloppy Butcher.
Myers: Monitor and Abuse, Ruin, BBQ, and Nurse's or Monitor and Abuse/BBQ, Ruin, Enduring, and Spirit Fury.
Spirit: Ruin, BBQ, Stridor, Nurse's/MYC
-
So if someone plays Legion even once, then they automatically suck at chases? Or are you just talking about Legion mains?
-
...all of the Killers are supernaturally powered.
-
The devs are too scared of upsetting their precious Survivor mains by removing their free escape.
-
What?! Is that guy ok?Jack11803 said:Never join parties. That allows them to DDOS you. I had a killer attempt a DDOS on me, then began screeching that I was flexing on a VPN. Like.... what the hell kind of person do you have to be to even say that?
-
You could've loaded in too quickly and the Killer thought you were part of an SWF or the Killer looked at your profile and saw you had a lot of the trophies/achievements unlocked and thought you were going to be a godly player and decided to dodge.
-
You aren't able to slow the game down as well with multiple aura perks. You can find them easily, but you have to down them quickly otherwise you'll only get 1-2 kills because of how fast the gens get completed.
Also, if you're using more than one aura perk on Doctor, then you're doing something wrong (unless you're doing an All-Seeing build or you don't have any other perks unlocked on him).
