sloppy butcher is an easily obtained perk
Sounds like someone doesn’t know how bad the RNG can be.

why not change add-ons that add mangled to add deep wound?

    No for two reasons:

    1. So you can run another perk instead of Sloppy Butcher.

    2. Because Deep Wound is a really weak effect and only works well at low ranks.

I’m not that surprised that someone suggested this because it seems like a lot of Survivors are trying to have more perks and add-ons involve the Deep Wound effect because of how weak it is and are trying to remove things like Mangled because they want every game to end with an easy escape.
  • I have been getting so many Iridescent Kings thanks to the current bloodweb and I'm loving it. My only problem with it is that it's harder to get puddings and BPS. The chances to get those two offerings should've also been increased.

  • Scratch marks are ######### on every map. They vanish into thin air randomly.

  • I wish we kept our add-ons and offerings if anything other than a 4v1 match started. I hate using a pudding, cake, or BPS only to load into a match that’s missing at least one Survivor.

  • All Killers: fix their hitboxes

Trapper: Can arm traps without having to pick them up, injured Survivors that step in a trap go down, and he can reload traps at lockers.

Hillbilly: Give him an add-on that applies the Broken effect.

Nurse: Completely remove the double stun (I've heard that the latest patch brought it back)

Myers: I was thinking about letting him gain evil from multiple Survivors at once.

Hag: Maybe give her a lunge after she teleports.

Doctor: 25% increase to shock range, 100% movement speed while charging the shock, removal/shortening of the shock delay, shock range add-ons will be nerfed to compensate for the 25% base range increase, and illusions will not appear on a different floor than the Survivor it's tracking.

Huntress: Fix any of the weird hitbox and collision bugs with her hatchets

Leatherface: Increase movement speed while charging the chainsaw to 100%, increase charge speed of chainsaw, increase movement speed during the chainsaw charge, and make his add-ons useful

Freddy: decrease Dream Transition, make it easier for him to see in the Dream World, Adrenaline will not wake you up (maybe add Self-Care to that too), let him stop Survivors from completing an action during the transition, and failed skill checks during the transitions will not wake you up.

Pig: Remove the roar from her ambush, prevent Survivors from seeing the auras of Jigsaw boxes until the trap activates, make her power less RNG-based.

Clown: Fix the bug where his bottle just vanishes in mid-air or explodes in his hand.

Spirit: Let her see blood while phase walking

  • I don’t understand why the Killer cannot grab a dying Survivor out of the Hatch. They can grab healthy and injured ones, so they should be able to grab one that’s in the dying state.

Yeah how about no. This is a recipe for disaster.

you won't know til u test it

You trust this game's community way too much.

  • Yeah how about no. This is a recipe for disaster.

  • DH would be OP if it wasn't a hex perk.

Your second idea sounds good because it encourages Survivors to cleanse dull totems (which helps slow the game down), but it can also give the Killer an easy instadown and Ebony Mori.

  • @DexyIV said:
    make you immune to Whispers

Please no. Whispers helps the Killer find those Survivors that want to take the game hostage by just hiding and only moving to prevent crows from appearing. Survivors with dark clothes would become nearly impossible to find. The lowered breathing buff sounds better.

Deep Wound is already a weak effect. Do we really need something to make it even weaker than it already is?

Just with the perk that is a little bit useless

Nope. Calm Spirit isn't useless and Deep Wound is already too weak. There is no need for a change like this.

  • Prestige is stupid and it should be completely removed.
  • Deep Wound is already a weak effect. Do we really need something to make it even weaker than it already is?

  • Lol nope. Sorry that you can't have your free unhooks.

and that would pretty much ruin it.

you would literally be stronger with basic hatchets.

I don't know why people are trying to apply deep wound to everything now as if deep wound is good lmfao huntress already don't have any add-ons this would make people not want to play her and It's rare i see huntress killers now she's a dying breed i say let her be.

It's because they're Survivor mains who are looking for any opportunity to make escaping easier but they don't want to get good.

  • I prioritize Survivors with dark clothes, people who run Calm Spirit, and Obsessions because of DS. I will ignore Survivors who want to be chased (if they want to be chased bad enough, then I’ll save them for last) and Survivors with Breakdown (unless they got to stage 2 on their first hook).
  • It’s because the devs have had an obvious bias towards Survivors for years now. I won’t be surprised if buffing Killers is painful for them.
  • How to make everyone an unfun game 101.
  • The only thing it really needs is a longer timer or to use a token system. As of right now the perk only shines with a three gen strat or with high mobility Killers.
  • I can easily see this being a problem for Doctor. All of the Survivors will just equip Calm Spirit the moment they see him.
  • Leatherface because of how easy it is to camp with him. Some people will also say Nurse because of how strong she is.

  • At least we had a badass main menu theme... for less than a week!

  • Leatherface is too high. He's easily one of the bottom Killers. In order to use his chainsaw, Leatherface has to be right on top of the Survivor and they cannot be near objects, otherwise it's really easy to make him crash.

  • @Maelstrom10 said:
i didn't decide to give them a free escape

That's a problem with a lot of Survivors. If they're at some kind of disadvantage, they automatically think they're entitled to a free escape and if they don't get it, they lose their minds. It really sucks that they act that way, but there's no way to stop it unless you report them or the majority of DbD's playerbase suddenly becomes super friendly. If you're on console, then Sony and Microsoft themselves will take action against that player and can ban them from certain PS/Xbox services, including Xbox Live and PS Network, meaning they cannot play DbD at all because the game is online only.

  • And now I'm terrified of ranking up again.

According to the devs, you might be a part of the "less than 5%" of players that has extremely long queue times and that the new matchmaking system will fix the problem.

It could also be the time of day. I'm not really sure how populated the game normally is at 1-2 AM.

  • Breakdown getting abused should be added here. You can be on the other side of map and the hook will still break. You're basically getting punished for hooking a Survivor. Multiple Survivors running this will just be hell for the Killer. Yes, Hangman's is a thing, but I shouldn't have to run a perk to have fun. At high ranks, I can see a lot of Killer builds consisting of Ruin/Sloppy and Hangman's because of how sweaty Survivors are.

  • 1. Breakdown nerf/rework: This perk is going to get abused so much once more Survivors start unlocking it. It should be completely reworked or have the breaking hook part of it nerfed (I would either make the hook repair itself much quicker, like within 10/20/30 seconds or have it automatically fill up part of the sabotage bar for that hook). Yes, I know about Hangman's, but I shouldn't have to run a perk to have fun. I won't be surprised if a lot of Killer builds end up consisting of Ruin/Sloppy and Hangman's in the near future.

    2. Buffs to Doctor's shock therapy: His shock is really weak without add-ons. I'd give his range a 25% increase, increase his movement speed while charging the shock to 100%, and remove or shorten the shock delay. I would also nerf the range add-ons so Doctors can't shock an entire map tile, but not enough to where it would be shorter than it was pre-nerf. Like if you run Interview Tape and High Stimulus Electrode, you would still have a 35 meter shock (also meaning Interview Tape would get a slight buff to its range).

    3. I couldn't decide between reworking the Hatch and making DCs give BBQ tokens: I have two ideas for a Hatch rework. The first would make it so jumping into the Hatch takes longer than the Killer's attack CD, but the Survivor cannot be grabbed out of the Hatch unless they're in dying state. Currently, you can't grab a Survivor out of the Hatch if they are in the dying state. If this was to stay, then Survivors would just stay injured when they're near the Hatch, meaning that the Hatch standoff would still exist. The second would involve the Killer being able close the Hatch and Survivor having to repair a gen to open it. Killers would have permanent aura reading at an unlimited range after X seconds of a Survivor not doing gens to prevent the game from being held hostage and Survivors would have a base Left Behind effect to prevent the game from getting extremely boring.
  • Lol there's so many counters to aura reading abilities, but it seems like you just don't want to use them. If the counters fail you during a match, then too bad. You can't always hide from the Killer. Learn the counters and get good.

  • Where is the LOL button when you need it? This would be a one of the stupidest nerfs that Huntress could get. Iridescent Head is a balanced add-on because she still has to hit the Survivor with the hatchet, you just need to learn how to dodge. The only thing that would make me think about accepting this is if the DW timer was reduced by at least 70-80%.

  • All I can remember is that my Doctor has over 20. I don't remember how many my other Killers have.

@TAG @SnakeSound222 I do not understand your fears, since the difference between "ultra rare" and "very rare", in absolute values or percentages, is not known (if you know something, please report it here). And most importantly, if the ultra rare items, add-ons and offerings do not scare you, why should you fear the ultra rare perks? Incidentally, the restoration of the classic system would not be unbalanced upwards: on the one hand, some purple perks would become pink, but on the other hand, some yellow perks would become brown (resulting in less rarity and price), that is, more accessible than they are today.

Will Ultra Rare perks reduce the chances of getting an Ultra Rare add-on? I don’t normally want any Ultra Rares except for add-ons (on Killers that have them). I don’t even care about getting Ebonys sometimes. I just want my Iridescent King or my Bloody Coil and I don’t want to see an Ultra Rare perk knowing that an add-on could’ve been there instead of something that used to be Very Rare.
  • Yes please! Doctor's shock at base is way too weak. While we're at it, why don't we increase his movement speed while charging the shock to at least 100% and remove or shorten the shock delay? If you’re worried about the shock being able to cover entire map tiles, then just nerf the range add-ons so they aren’t making the range any bigger than they currently do. Interview Tape would probably have to get buffed so you can still have a 35 meter shock range if you combine it with High Stimulus Electrode.

the greater rarity is more important than the higher price. :)

I do not agree with this.

I don't either. This would just make the grind worse, which is something we don't need at all.

  • The devs had two good ideas for this perk but they used them for Wraith’s All-Seeing Spirit add-on and Legion’s Discordance perk. Do they want Surveillance to be a trash perk?

    Tsulan said:
I'm still convinced that they planned to set it to 160 seconds, but a typo turned it into 16 and nobody noticed.
That wouldn’t surprise me at all.
  • I main Killer, and I Iiked it after the changes in 1.9.2. It was a balanced perk. The 2.4.0 buff was just the result of the devs giving in to whiny Scrubvivors who want to mindlessly hook rush. It basically gives the unhooked Survivor an extra life now.

  • It's to help distract people from the real issues of the game and because they think that players are so loyal that they'll spend hundreds of dollars on cosmetics without a single regret.

  • Finger guns and the default Fortnite dance for everybody. The memes would become reality!

    It must be random then.

How would that make him scarier? Removing this from Doctor seems like a big nerf to his tracking ability (which is his main purpose, he's an anti-stealth Killer for a reason).

No, boy, you misunderstood. As a survivor you don't see the "bubbles", playing as the Doctor you still see them
You’re right lol. I missed the part where you said against a Doctor. Oops.
  • Killers:
    1. Doctor
    2. Hillbilly
    3. Tie between Hag, Spirit, and Myers

    Survivors:
    1. Laurie (because I love Halloween, not because of DS. ######### that perk.)
    2. David
    3. Dwight

  • For Killers, yes. With the recent addition of the Survivor perk Breakdown (it may not see much use now, but once more Survivors realize just how powerful it is then it'll be on a lot more perk builds) , Killers basically have only two free perk slots now. Ruin (to slow the game down just a little bit) and Hangman's Trick (so you can have hooks to put Survivors on) are going to be almost baseline for a lot of Killers. So yeah, adding a fifth or maybe even a sixth perk slot to them would be fine.

I'm not so sure about Survivors receiving extra perk slots though because none of their perks can be baseline, unlike Killers. They can run any perk they want and not really have to worry about anything.

I just played a game with him on PS4 and had no problems. Maybe it's just an Xbox and PC problem?

It's happening on ps4 as well. Honesty, I find it makes the doctor more terrifying when you hear survivors scream but can't see there location. I rather this stay if it's a bug!

    It must be random then.

How would that make him scarier? Removing this from Doctor seems like a big nerf to his tracking ability (which is his main purpose, he's an anti-stealth Killer for a reason).

  • Spirit Fury is easily the best perk on this Shrine. Combine it with Enduring and pallets mean very little to you.

  • I think it'll happen when dedicated servers are introduced, which will be in summer 2019.

  • Issue: FPS drop
    Platform: PS4
Map Played: Rotten Fields (Coldwind Farm) and the main menu
Details: My FPS drops whenever I get a skill check while repairing a gen at the beginning of a match. It drops enough to where I miss it when I would normally hit it. On the main menu, the falling snow causes a noticeable FPS drop.

  • 3/10. The only things I like about Chapter X are the new main menu music, Legion’s perks and their lore. Legion was released in an unbelievably weak state and Jeff has two of the stupidest perks in the game.
  • I just played a game with him on PS4 and had no problems. Maybe it's just an Xbox and PC problem?

    Bans cant come soon enough.

Though, I did see a player I used to get abusive messages from and watched them teabag instead of resue'ing from hook last night, name was ALMOST identical, same attitude and character/cosmetics etc.

This makes me think they got the ban hammer on their whole PS4 account

Did they message you after they died?

But to answer yours and @The_Crusader's question, they only think about how the Killer/perk affects Survivors and how easy it is for them to play around the Killer/perk.

  • It was probably a Dull Key (purple). The Hatch is stays open for only five seconds.
  • You might see some Doctor soon.
