Since it was announced that the prestige system will be changed, there has been a lot of speculation about what players will get for characters that have already been prestige...
The devs were quick to say "there will be no cosmetics", which brings me to my point: WHY NOT!!!
It is always referred to the fact that the grind "then" was much greater and you give the players something special, which adequately appreciates their effort.
The questionable is now, even if bloodwebs were much more expensive back then and the grind quite high, whether that is at all justifiable against the current players who have prestiged?
Back then you could level a maximum of 9 characters for a few months.
Now we are talking about players over the years, in thousands of hours, up to 58 characters laboriously brought to p3 50 and higher. Even if in the past the bloodpoints needed to level were more and there were no blood hunts, I'm certainly not the only one who gives here a huge injustice in proportion.
And these longtime players, who apart from the incredible game time and grind, also lost thousands of perks, items, addons and offerings to prestige, now fobbed off with a glitter picture is an absolute outrage!
I think bhvr should go again very thoroughly in itself, whether what they have thought about, these players is just.
In my opinion, a new edition of legacy cosmetics (perhaps in a different color) is the least that is appropriate ...
Let the whole legacy thing go already it's 2022 why do you want another default reskin anyway when you have hella cosmetics in the store 💀💀

So I finally reached lvl 40 on all of the survivor and experienced every perk that they offer and heres a list of suggestion to change some of the perks to make them good to use or balanced.
Adrenaline: doesn't fully heal after being unhooked
Borrow Time: revert the effect on stealth killers and when used, put it on 2 min cooldown
No mither: doesn't leave blood orbs for Oni
Desicive strike: only activated after being unhooked during struggle OR reduce active time up to 40 secs
Vigil: now you can recover half the exhaustion while running but you don't get the recover bonus and it doesn't stack
Diversion:now recharges while in chase, but recharges for 1 min
Autodidact: reduce tokens to 3, beginning skillcheck penalty is slightly bigger but at stack 3 increases the chance of skillchecks
Mettle of man: after use and being fully healed, your aura is revealed to the killer no matter what distance for 1 min
Also what do you guys thing about the devs removing the perk tiers alltogether? I think they should remove them altogether and it will benefit beginners since it will make loadout preparation faster.
Recover from exhaustion while running is a big no no idk why people want this back so much it'll just break the game again

Never heard Skillbilly used in a bad way.
And Billy doesn't take skill? lol, whenever I try to play Billy the survivors teabag and tell me to uninstall the game. Insta saw maybe, but a lot of killers don't take skill if you use the best add-ons every game.
I've usually heard Skillbilly used to refer to Billies that only use their chainsaw, as opposed to Millies who use the chainsaw mostly for mobility and usually just M1 in chases.
No offense but you mean to tell me you actually struggle with him?
-
Skillbilly is just what people call billy because he doesn't really require any skill but people talk as if he does. The bread and butter is very simple for run Enduring , infectious fright , PGTW and BBQ or whatever. You can slug and all that other stuff and if you find a survivor outpositioned it's gg for them since his chainsaw is one of the easiest things in the game to use.

The end is near lol

Then there's no such thing as camping , tunnelling and proximity camping keep that energy for sides.

No body asked for that #########. It was a low key NERF and they did him dirty. New direction my arse. Survivors bitched about mirror Myers enough and the spineless developers of this game gave in.

Again, I don't see a problem. You are real fired up aren't you?
No not fired up at all. You mean to tell me you're perfectly fine with a detection perk detecting a killer with the undetectable status effect are you serious? That's like applying the blindness effect on a survivor but they actually aren't affected at all.

So, he still has no terror radius.
Having a 0 terror radius doesn't matter when you can still be detected when you have the UNDETECTABLE STATUS EFFECT!!!

No. I never complained, I said there is not a problem with a perk detecting t1 Myers. Learn to read.
The whole point of tier 1 myers is to be immune to detection learn about the character boomer 💀

I have to say it again; If you suicide on your first hook because you don't like a Killer, or a Killer's perks: You are disconnecting.
You are abusing a loophole to avoid punishment, but you are disconnecting.
Don't bother saying 'It's not the same because..' because IT IS THE SAME.
Disconnecting:
Leaving the match because you hate the Killer/Perk(s) being used. This screws over your team early on. It also denies the Killer a large amount of bloodpoints because it's one less Survivor to chase & hook 2-3 times.
First Hook Suicide:
Leaving the match because you hate the Killer/Perk(s) being used. This screws over your team early on. It also denies the Killer a large amount of bloodpoints because it's one less Survivor to chase & hook 2-3 times.
Huh. When I put it that way, it's almost like people who first-hook suicide are the same people that would outright DC if it were not a bannable offense. 🤔🤔🤔🤔
And don't get me started on the BS, self-centered argument that 'games are supposed to be FUN, and my fun matters more than 4 other people's fun!'
When you log in, you accept that a Killer (or Survivor, for you DCing Killers) will use a person/perk(s) you don't like. Grow a freaking pair and accept it or stop logging in. You don't matter more than 4 other people ALSO trying to have fun.
If this little self-centered argument had ANY weight, DCing would not be banned in the first place.
Don't bother trying to argue it; you're wrong. First Hook Suicides are exactly like DCing while having the bonus of abusing a technicality to avoid punishment. The intent behind it is the same for both; leaving as fast as possible, screwing over your teammates & the Killer in the process.
The reason I made this post? Because, when servers go live, and DCing is more heavily punished, we will see an upsurge in first-hook suicides. DC bans will do nothing to change the underlying problem, only the method with which they do it. I want Devs to be aware of this, so they can properly combat the problem.
Actually it's not the same as disconnecting you're playing by the rules of the game *you got hooked and you died* just because you whine saying nonsense like *it's the same as DCing* doesn't make it true keep your head canon to yourself who are you to tell people how to play THEIR GAME THEY PAID FOR WITH THEIR MONEY?
-
Because it's easy
-
Ok...
-
That is some great bias from the devs. A killer playing bad can still 1-shot someone with the crutch perk NOED.
Whiners like you are the reason some killers use noed because you refuse to cleanse the damn totems. I swear people that main the survivor role is like spoiled brats anything that makes you put in even the slightest effort you whine and moan about it just do the totems so you won't be put into the situation. Stop relying on the devs to hold your hand every time something hinders the survivors role simplistic playstyle.
-
Sometimes we forget that the devs are just human. Yes, they break a lot of #########. I mean a LOT OF ######### but they work really hard, Man.
We've given them 3 years no more excuses
-
So i feel like alot of people dont like blodlust and it makes chases booring and no mind games at all in it so i feel like blodlust should be removed and make it into a perk so that people who feel like it is needed it becomes a perk tbh.
Nah fam plus bloodlust got nerfed into the ground it doesn't do anything anymore anyway unless it's tier 3 just let it rest in peace
-
Had Sidney been the survivor in the Ghostface CHAPTER, I think people would have been a lot more...forgiving about Ghostface’s “bugs” (quotation marks, because fixing those bugs won’t change the fact that he makes Freddy look threatening.) People bought Halloween because tbh it was a good chapter, people bought Nightmare on Elm Street for Freddy/his perks, and people bought Leatherface because he had good perks (and it was clearly TCM for said fans.) There really is absolutely no incentive to buy the Ghostface chapter, and if you ask me, letting people believe it really was Scream only to go “surprise!” and reveal it’s JUST the mask with an original character behind it was more sneaky than this Ghostface could ever hope to be as well as such a letdown.
She would've been just a skin she wouldn't have changed anything.
-
So they can release ash and nobody says a word and all is well but when they release ghostface they're automatically lazy they can't win with y'all tbh
-
They literally just gave y'all ash now you're calling them lazy for giving us ghostface they really can't win with y'all people
-
No
-
When people say ridiculous things like this and say "I'm a killer main btw" you can easily tell that they're not a killer main.
-
Recover from exhaustion while running that's a big hell no
-
"You're cloaked by the entity" so now the entity helps survivors hide from the killers doing it's bidding makes perfect sense Mathieu Cote would be proud.
-
No...😑😑
-
Sorry but ######### has happened to decisive strike and what cry babies got this changed.
So basically you bought the chapter because you knew the perk was broken??
-
Didn't they say on a dev stream that farming isn't bannable or did they change their mind on that too?
-
Let myers gain evil within faster if he's stalking more than one survivor.
-
Recover from exhaustion while running NOPE!!!

TAG said:The RBT not triggering on the Hatch is a deliberate design choice by the devs, for better or worse.
Personally, I would like to see the trap trigger on the Hatch, provided that measures are taken to make sure that the Hatch is still a realistically attainable goal for a Survivor with an RBT to obtain. I understand why the devs were careful with this, but I think it's a flavor fail to allow Survivors a way to escape the game without having to complete it (since, to my understanding, people who tried to run away from their games in the movies would be met with swift punishment). Even with the logic that "we don't want the last Survivor to have virtually no chance of escape if they're wearing a RBT" (which is a very reasonable line of thinking, to be fair), the fact that they can also just escape the trial completely if someone has a key is a HUGE flavor fail in my book that doesn't even make much sense from a balance standpoint.
It does say F u to the lore though there were no shortcuts. -
This is getting juicy lol

most of the survivor tools in the game isn't fun to play against but it's in the game lol just go to the next game maybe it won't be legionMegChicken said:Just played a match with a Legion that attacked you twice and would walk around you until you were downed. Every time i see a legion nerf discussion(not you) i just think to myself is your ego really that big are you really that entitled?

Downs survivors faster than the vast majority of killers what? We're talking about a killer that has to hit survivors 4 times to down them what the hell are you talking about?
I expected people to say that bloodhound Legion doesn't kill fast enough since there are killers who kill faster than him, and most killer mains play those mostly.
I expected people to say that this method is bad because it means you have to use Legion as he wasn't intended even though players widely use Billy chainsaw, pallet loops, and vault loops as unintended.
I expected people to say that playing against this type of Legion is unfair or not fun because it honestly isn't as fun playing against a killer who's pretty much garunteed to down you with almost no counterplay. A lot like how it's incredibly unfun to play against chain pallet/vault loops, instaheal squads, flashlight squads, or full toolbox genrush squads.
But one thing I wasn't expecting was somebody to say Legion is a bad killer because you have to hit people 4 times to down them if they read this thread. Literally, the entire original post addresses that exact issue and goes into detail with a video of 8 minutes of explanation and 12 minutes of gameplay proving that you can play Legion in a highly efficient way by breaking chase instead of constantly frenzy hitting for the down. There are only 2 reasons I can think why you made that post. Either you're intentionally trolling, but didn't add any twist to make it humorous. Or you somehow managed to completely skip the original post yet catch onto the theme and then make a point that I have concisely proven wrong. If it's the latter, go back and actually read the beginning, and better yet, watch the video.

4 hits though like ######### should be 3 at least to save time remember the killer is on a clockMadjura said:@KingSavageGaming said:

This was a good effort but this doesn't make legion efficient whatsoever you're literally just exploiting the fact that you can break chase and follow that doesn't make him good the devs even talked about this strategy on a stream which is why they're changing him 4 hits is ######### to begin glad it's being lowered you're better off using franks mixtape and stab wounds study and cold dirt as of right now.

This killer is beyond trash and devs actually thought to put this out i actually regret buying this killer , all survivors have to do is separate and his ability is complete garbage. How is a killer that downs survivors faster than the vast majority of killers beyond trash? And if the fast downs aren't enough, he can do it through standard survivor pallets and vault techniques. How much more do you need to demand from a killer?
-

And every time I ask why, it's always because he takes multiple hits to down a survivor. Which means a huge number of people still don't know how to play Legion at high efficiency even though they're claiming enough expertise to render a final judgement on him.
So I made a guide explaining how I play Legion which seems to be the most efficient way out of what I've seen so far.
For those who don't want to watch the video, here's a basic synopsis:
-Get that first frenzy hit to start deep wounds and get the 2nd if you can to lower the timer
-After you run out of frenzy, move away from the survivor while keeping track of them to break the chase proximity requirement and immediately end the chase
-Once chase is broken, go after the survivor if you can still see them or go to the last place they were and use the Bloodhound perk to follow them with ease
-If they keep their distance, they'll either go down or have to stop to mend and you can hit them. If they try to loop you, just keep track of them without looking at them and wait for deep wounds to get low enough to where another fenzy hit can finish them. For those of you wondering about the actual times for deep wounds, I'll list them here:
Base Deep Wounds time: 30 seconds
Deep Wounds time with Stab Wounds Study: 25 seconds
Time removed from a basic feral frenzy strike: 10 seconds
Time removed from a Frank's Mix Tape frenzy strike: 15 seconds -
NoYellow said:Nurse does need some things done to her considering that its actually bad to use any add-ons with her since they hurt the muscle memory involved with landing blinks. In regards to stealth against her though, I do think that there should be something done with her tracking to make remaining undetected by her/juke'ing her a lot more effective since that is a Survivor's only defense against Nurse due to pallets and windows not being effective.
One idea I was kicking around was that while she is charging or in the middle of chain blinks that she can't see scratch marks of survivors (similar to how Legion can't see scratch marks while their power is in use). This keeps her power strong but also makes her main counter of jukes and stealth more viable.
