I don't deserve to be harassed and told to go get some "skill" because of some lag
Was playing freddy today, some people thought i was lag switching despite me going into the match with red ping. everyone in the match was lagging, and one guy d/c'ed (fair enough it was worse then i expected) and since i didn't decide to give them a free escape i get sworn at and name called ( i'm also pretty sure one of them told me to go off myself but i'd rather not make false claims if that wasn't the case.
I love this game so much, but i hate dbd's toxicity and im probably going to have to take a break from the game for a while as this is all getting to me
Please don't act like this towards people. its horrible, hell if the guy really thought i was lag switching, fair enough whatever i can take that, but going out of there way to harass me verbally is not ok, just put in a report and leave me alone please

Just leave the lobby after the game ends if you don't want to deal with the negativity. You're right. You don't deserve to be called names. Whatever system you are playing on just set your privacy settings high and immediately leave after the game is over and you won't have to worry about it.
That's a problem with a lot of Survivors. If they're at some kind of disadvantage, they automatically think they're entitled to a free escape and if they don't get it, they lose their minds. It really sucks that they act that way, but there's no way to stop it unless you report them or the majority of DbD's playerbase suddenly becomes super friendly. If you're on console, then Sony and Microsoft themselves will take action against that player and can ban them from certain PS/Xbox services, including Xbox Live and PS Network, meaning they cannot play DbD at all because the game is online only.
Its not your fault that the survivors readied up having a red ping.
Just try to completely ignore the afterchat and exit straight away. Sadly BHVR doesnt punish this behaviour properly, so reporting will most likely do nothing
