Angry is too far. I’d say that I’m just upset that Survivors have a free escape option and that they act entitled to it. It’s not that hard to find a gen and start working on it if the Killer is at the Hatch.The_Crusader said:@SnakeSound222 said:
It is. The only reason the Hatch is still in its current state is because BHVR keeps giving in the whiny Scrubvivors. We had a balanced Hatch with the 2.0.0 PTB. Killer could close it and Survivor could repair a gen to reopen it. It only needed two changes: the Survivor would receive a base Left Behind effect to make repairing the gens not boring and the Killer would be able to read the Survivor's aura permanently at an unlimited range after the Survivor has not tried to repair a gen for X seconds to prevent them from getting salty and holding the game hostage (not sure how many seconds, I want to give the Survivor enough time to find a gen but not too much time so Survivors cannot hide until the timer is about to expire and then just tap the gen to reset the timer and continue hiding). However, BHVR decided to listen to the crying Survivors who seemingly needed escape through the Hatch (a base LB effect probably wouldn't have shut them up either) and have the exit gates become active and then they just decided to continue working on it.Daaaaamn. Someone sounds angry.
The devs realized it was unfair and they cancelled it. Good call.

I don't agree with it either. Doctor didn't need any nerfs at all. NC was part of his offensive build, and now that's gone because the devs still give in to whiny Survivors (I used to use NC on him until I got BBQ but there's a lot of people who still like to use NC on Doc). I hope they like having to go against the gen-stopper builds more often.

It's a normal complaint because Survivors want to have their wins handed to them with no challenge whatsoever.
I'm waiting for the day when someone calls Surveillance a crutch perk.

SS tier - Nurse
S tier - Hillbilly, Hag, Huntress
A tier - Spirit, Clown, Doctor, Michael Myers
B tier - Pig, Wraith
C tier - Trapper
D tier- Leatherface, Freddy
F tier - Legion

The list is older and I think the numbers of voters on there has decreased, so it's harder for it to change. It's also public meaning anyone can vote it, including the whiny players.

Would be pretty funny if the devs asked Sony/Microsoft to help ban you because you admitted to breaking the rules.
Everything that I wanted to say has already been said. You are just another entitled Survivor who refuses to get good.

Iron Maiden will work once or twice before Survivors stop using lockers and start looping. There's no problem here at all.

I think the only devs that actually play the game are Giddawid and not_queen, two of our community managers. The other devs either don't play the game at all, only play it a little bit, or they play it a lot and just haven't made it public.

Aftercare might be part of BHVR's plan to buff solo Survivors to around SWF level and then start nerfing SWF.Distortion was not needed because all of the aura reading perks are easily countered (BBQ has four of them) and seems to be the result of Scrubvivor whining. Hopefully BHVR realizes just how strong this perk is and nerfs it before it goes into the live build.
Breakdown is just too strong and needs a nerf before it goes to the live build. Not only does it lessen the variety of Killer builds at high ranks, but it punishes you for hooking a Survivor. The breaking hooks part should either be removed and have the perk reworked into something else or it should be nerfed. I was thinking that if the perk isn't reworked, then the hook should either stay broken for around 10-40 seconds (definitely nowhere near the current time), only break when the Killer is within X meters (probably around 15-20 meters) and there are no Survivors near the hook for X seconds, or the Entity blocks the hook if you try to put the recently unhooked Survivor back on that same hook until they heal or a timer (not sure how long, but it would definitely be less than 60 seconds) runs out (both options would be available, but only one has to happen for the Entity to stop blocking the hook). The Killer would be able to know when the timer is up and the Survivor can go back on the hook.
i 100% agree with you breakdown needs a major nerf aftercare as well and distortion was results of whining
Distortion also encourages camping because the Killer won't be seeing any auras. BBQ is supposed to discourage it by showing Killers where the others are, but how is it supposed to do that when the Survivors have a perk to hide themselves from the aura reading? I can already see the number of camping complaints rising if Distortion is not nerfed.
I look around the area for a couple seconds after I hook someone and then I leave. I still look around to make sure that I didn’t miss anyone as I’m leaving. My playstyle is the same even if I don’t have BBQ. I only camp when the gates are powered.
Also, I love how you’re automatically assuming that I’m bad before I even tell you my playstyle. -
Pig should have either Pig Juicer (from Saw III) or a custom version of Hello Zepp.

I love these ideas! They punish hook rushing, farming, and encourages Survivors to leave when they open the gate instead of sticking around. I have one question about Lambs to the Slaughter though.AzazelAxios said:My ideas for his abilities.. just brainstorming
• "Death fog" - Creates a fog in a 30m(?) radius. Survivors caught in the fog are put into a first person point of view with their view significantly reduced.
Perks
• Death incarnate - After hooking a survivor other survivors are exposed for 8/9/10 seconds.
• For Mother - For 3/4/5 seconds after a survivor has done or attempted an altruistic action, will slow their movement speed by 25% for 3 seconds.
• Lambs to the slaughter - Once an exit gate is powered the other gate will be permanently shut down. The powered gate closes each time a survivor exits for 5/10/15 seconds.
Would the Entity push anyone who is inside the gates out as they close so nobody is trapped inside? -

ALOT of killers camp even with BBQ and chilli, and even with perks like make your choice, ive seen it. Camping is already a problem, because killers don't want to challenge themselves to hunt down the next survivor just because their aura isn't revealed to them...Distortion not being nerfed will just increase that number.

I've seen killers have perks such as rancor, then tunnel their obsession off the hook. meaning that perk is useless, and they did that to themselves LOL.Honestly, if the Obsession is dumb enough to not stay hidden from me or they're the only Survivor I can get, then I'll chase them even if I have Rancor. Purposefully not chasing the Obsession could also tip them off to you having Rancor (unless they're SWF and a dead member told the others about it).

If these ptb changes go in effect BBQ will be nerfed into the ground. If it ever detects a survivor after this the survivor is bad. Remove the minimum distance they have to be away to somewhat make things fair. The locker buff is ridiculous and everyone knows it's the devs way of nerfing BBQ without actually touching the perk.I really hope that BHVR realizes what they're doing is too much for Survivors and nerfs the new Survivor perks before Chapter X makes it to the live build. Survivors still seem to be unable to do basic math or think that well and whine for nerfs and BHVR still seems to want to listen to them instead of forcing them to get good. I remember they said BBQ was balanced and had multiple counters on one of their streams. If these perks make it to the live build in their current state, then I guess that was a ######### lie. The only good thing that MIGHT happen is that more Survivors will complain about camping and the devs will end up nerfing Distortion.

I'm trying to get her to P3 because of how much I love Halloween. I was very upset that I had to use her perks to get her Adept trophy. I felt really bad hitting that Hag with DS. I took it off the moment I was returned to the loadout screen.

I think that the sliding stab at the end would be more disgusting if you could see the Survivor's chest split open from the blade. Heck a lot of Moris would be gorier if they showed the blood and gore. Trapper, Wraith, Billy, Leatherface, Hag, Myers, Pig, and Huntress all slice or stab the Survivor. Leatherface's Mori is straight out of of MKX (one of his fatalities is extremely similar to it).
nah letherfaces fatality is why bettter than his mori
He has two of them. One of them involves chaining the opponent and then cutting them in half at their waist and the other involves stabbing the opponent with the chainsaw, revving it up, and then cutting their upper body in half (this is the one that I think looks similar to the Mori).

Why the hell the unhooked survivor should be punishment?
Like Master said, why should the Killer be punished for a misplay that the Survivors made? Why can’t the Survivors be punished (both the savior and saved) for a mistake that they made? It’s their fault, so they should pay for it.
-
Survivor favored. Gens go by really fast and it is still easy to loop Killers. How are your anti-healing strategies supposed to work if Survivors keep looping you? You are forced to either keep chasing the Survivor and hope that you can get that hit in before too many gens have been completed or disengage and have to find a healthy Survivor and hope that they don't loop you long enough for the rest of the gens to be completed.

For me it isn’t, because of how sweaty Survivors can be. I don’t want to have to run a perk just because Survivors get sweaty and I want to have a fun game. Hook rushing isn’t a sacrificial situation anymore, especially if that is the only hook nearby or the Survivors are running No Mither or are sabotaging hooks. Some suggestions I had for nerfing the perk are:ModernFable said:

Wondering why someone hasnt gone into a kyf and idk, waited 3 mins to see?I did, and it's 3 minutes.
The hook could only break when the Killer is within X meters and there are Survivors nearby (like the Chaser penalty)
Have the Entity block the hook instead of break it if the Killer tries to put the recently unhooked Survivor back on that same hook before a timer runs out or they get healed.
The hook respawn timer could get reduced (would only work on the hooks broken by Breakdown.
The breaking hooks part from the perk could just be removed and it could be reworked.
Any of these nerfs would not require Killers to run Hangman’s against sweaty hook rushing Survivors. I get the point of the perk (discourages tunneling), but can’t it be done in a way that doesn’t ######### over the Killer? -
I think it stays broken for 180 seconds. Does Hangman’s affect the perk? Hook swarming and SWF might have just gotten an unnecessary buff.
-
This seems like a buff to DS. The Survivor can see the auras of the components, so they can just run to them at the start of the match and get their DS ready in a few seconds. The skill check is also now easy to hit and the Killer can’t hook the Survivor until they attempt the skill check, meaning that this perk gives a free escape for just running around for a few seconds.
-
I like them. They’re pretty cool, especially the veins on them. My favorites are from the all of the licensed Killers, Billy, Doctor, and Hag.
-
I think he should get a buff to his movement speed while charging his shock (make his speed at least 100%), the Moldy Electrode’s shock range increase should be part of his base kit, and his shock delay should be decreased (you can currently see the AoE of his shock right before it hits) or revert the nerf to his vault animation interrupting.
-
Darn, there goes our best way of avoiding the sweaty SWF groups. At least the long queue times are gone for when we don’t get matched with one.
-
In the second picture, were you hooked after the gates were powered or did your teammates just finish the gens because you were being hard camped?
As for the first picture, that is just sad. Insidious camping during a three Survivor game and having already killed one of them. -
Remember when Trapper and Wraith had the same weapon clean animation?
-

I’m not sure how I feel about the RBT timer being decreased by 30 seconds. I’m pretty sure that the current timer is 120 seconds. Your buff would make it 90 seconds and with Tampered Timer, it would go off in 60 seconds. I don’t think that’s enough time to search more than two, maybe three Jigsaw Boxes. The base time of the RBT is 150 seconds(2 minutes and 30 seconds),with the Tampered Timer 120 seconds. With the buff the base time would 120, 90 with the Tampered Timer.
Imagine Tampered Timer plus Crate of Gears with your buff. That would be pretty scary because of the increased time to search boxes. -
Simple. They equip said perks, items, and add-ons along with the offering before the lobby countdown ends. The player who is effected by the offering will then be forced into an unwanted role and lose out on their add-ons and offerings, along with their rank for the side they originally wanted play and the bloodpoints that they would’ve gained from that side. Rituals would get even more annoying because of people forcing you to switch sides and characters.Entità said:@AChaoticKiller @SnakeSound222 Wait, how could someone decide to equip bad perks, items and add-ons, since the offers are burned after the lobby countdown?Who is the target of Caotic Justice is interested in playing the best: he uses the opponent's equipment, but the outcome of the game affects his own rank and score. -
I feel like all three of your original ideas could work together with some changes.
Closing the Hatch should not power the exit gates. The last Survivor should have a base Left Behind effect so the endgame isn’t extremely boring for the Survivor and the Killer should be able to permanently the Survivor’s aura after X seconds of not doing a generator to prevent the game from being held hostage.
As for hatch spawning requirements, I’m not sure if the hatch should require three or four generators to spawn. Two is just too little because of how easy it is complete a gen. -

It's pretty obvious really.1) their is no such thing as a perk usage statistic for console (or pc for that matter) the dev always combine both console and pc statistic, and say statistic are only released during dev stream and aren't accesible in any other way to players
2) surveillance is a killer perk
I know their is a lot of stupid ######### being posted every day but this post is obviously a joke
-
I guess everyone who wears a winter coat, hat, and brings climbing gear is automatically trying to rip off Lara Croft then.
-
Did you think about this for more than five seconds? Players will just equip bad or no perks, items, or add-ons and troll the other player. The playerbase would become even more toxic than it already is. This would also screw with the ranks because people would instantly disconnect to derank quicker, meaning that the queue times for high ranks will increase again.
-
Your Doctor buff is already in the game. Survivors cannot go back to Madness 1 after entering Madness 2. I would give Doctor a movement speed increase while charging his shock therapy (to at least 100%), make his Moldy or Polished Electrode shock range part of his base kit (shock range is increased by 25/50%), and shorten the shock delay (or at least make it part of an add-on).

Camping is viable when you think that a Survivor might be near the hook.Unicorn said:I'm sorry but I never understood "camping and tunneling" being a legit strategy. I feel like thats an excuse to make Killers feel good about themselves. I don't camp, it's boring as hell! I could spend that time patrolling gens and slowing the game down.
The only time I find it acceptable to tunnel is when someone unhooks while I'm still around the damn hook, and even then I go after the a-hole that is obviously farming that person.
In a lot of cases, tunneling is common sense. If I find an injured Survivor and a healthy Survivor together, it makes more sense to down the injured Survivor and put them right back on the hook instead of go after the healthy Survivor who will take two hits to down and could buy time for the other Survivor to heal up and complete a gen. -
This has got to be bait.
