Oof this a tough one. I tend to always play killer first when ever a chapter come out. I may end up playing as Leon as I enjoy his character. I played Resident Evil 2 remake but I always watched the RE franchise when I was younger and always saw the games.
I’m also hoping the devs have Ethan as a legendary skin.
Overall, I’m excited to have this chapter. My WL is basically completed. I could careless for what other killer or chapter they add lol.

You all are missing the point. Although, they nerf Moris, it still looked down upon on players who uses the offering.
They want to change the perspective and have it where it’s actually built into the core gameplay. And I think that’s better than constantly having the need to use a slot of an offering when you’re better off using other offering.
I wonder how this system would affect Mori perks though.

I like it, feels refreshing. And beside it’s not RE if there isn’t Zombie or some kind of virus enemies constantly walking around

it’s similar to plague but quite opposite.
Having the virus gives Nemesis a increase to his power. And it allows him to damage you on the next attack after inflicting you with the virus.
There are limited vaccines around the map that you can use to cure yourself.
And yes, the zombies can attack you.

I do think they’re implementing a new objective. They said it’s inspired by RE chapter. Remember RE is known for having puzzles in their game. Finding a missing object to open a particular door. It could be something along those lines .

I honestly think Capcom will let dead by daylight milk the license . So we may get Chris & Jill and all the other RE characters will be put in as Legendaries.

Any who I agree with your points. I think the point system for killers is not fair because various killers are used different ways. However, the game tries to force you to play one way.
Trickster is not great at defending gens so his points will be lacking in that area.

Yes, I also was wondering if it’s bugged. When I’m using main event it’s not unlimited as it say it is. I run out of knives before I even exit Main event.

I look forward to creating a new play style with the new DS. I barely used it before but now that players may not expect it as much it would be a great.
I believe we will see less slugging when taken off the hook.

I agree give more depth to his power. Make it where the player need to have skill and not spam the knives.
Maybe you start off with a certain amount of knives that need precision hits. Then there's a meter that is fill which allow you to go into a frenzy of throwing knives.

I wonder if the powers & perk are related with time control or something.
The wording of the interview is off. It speaks in past and present about the Saturday. One minute it refers it already happen (interview that was held ended up being canceled) then it seems like it talks about it as it's going to happen again.
This also could be poor translation.

Kermit the frog is already established as kids/family friendly. However, if you were telling me a man who happens to play with puppets is going to be killer then yes that will still be able to follow the horror theme. As him playing with puppet is just his career. Part of his backstory. Same way a drag queen could be part of someone backstory.

Uhm there's not a certain aesthetic the entity is looking for when finding killers/survivors. It's the story that conjures up the horror theme.

You're not using it right, power struggle has great synergy with others perks. I actually prefer this perk than decisive strike. There are times where I escaped the killer more than 2times in the same match.
Use Power Struggle, Tenacity, & Flip-Flop. This perk is great against killers who like to slug.
"I shouldn't have to use 3 perks for a perk to work" ..... well imo it's always fun to switch up your load out . It's one of my go to. Not every perk needs to be instant, you just need to know how to use them.

Or they possibly teased us with two different things. One could be teasing the next chapter and the other could be a Legendary outfit collab with a social media influencer.

I prefer this hud than the old one. It's easier on my eyes. And after years of playing this game, it's slightly refreshing.

@bobcat946732 yeah those are clearly cgi though. My only issue is that claudette looked washed out here. It could be the lightning. We'll see when the cosmetic is released. I know we're getting character models rework early next year.

I've spent over $300 on cosmetics. And I continue to buy cosmetics because I appreciate the designs that the art team come up with. On top of that I like to switch up my look as much as possible.

I doubt Microsoft or Sony is holding them back as both platform have cross-progression from other games. For example, Cold War. It's easier to do xbox one to series x & ps4 to ps5 because they're still on the same platform.
I believe in order to do a major cross-progression between other platforms they will need to implement a system that will hold our data. Activision have it where you sign up and register your platforms. It's possible the debs are working on this behind the scene but yet to announce it.

Although Sony is not transferring most of their ps4 game progression dbd. I do believe that dbd servers hold our game information on their server.

Only two people got it. And I think they're just testing this new feature out. Seeing various feedback from players.
Edit: I'm wrong, more than one people can get the item. I didn't know it had more than one code in each hunt.

These are the kind of the survivors that cost the match. You run the killer across the map, lose then and come back to the survivor for them not to be fully recovered 💀

idk, Legion right now is just a last minute thought because he needed something done to him ASAP because of the exploit.
The devs said they had so many ideas for him and I have yet see anyone bring it back up.
I didn’t forget not one bit.
The blight with his speed seem like old legion.

Tbh that was the best map for me as nurse. I play on Xbox . And I do quite well with her in general.
Nurses calling is really great on her. I could be on the second floor and survivor are right below me.
Traveling to gens is so fast for me.
My current nurse build is ruin, surveillance, devour hope and nurses calling.
Rank 2 (if that matters to anyone) and the survivors were (2,4 and 5)

The Hallowed Blight event is close to having Legacy skins.
Legacy skins were given to loyal player base during that time for the crazy grind.
It's the same way when you pre-order a game and is given certain benefits. That you only get when pre-ordering.

The design contest is to be inspired by. They don't have to mimic every detail that you put into the contest. There were some differences with the Clown skin, not so much with Feng though.
Anywho, I only wish they would have had the hoody over claudette hair like the artist. I don't care if it had to be a set.
