Somebody always beats me to it.
Haha. I think you were faster doe.
Judging by the time-stamps on both our posts, we posted during the same minute, so I have no clue.
Here's a pic of the new icon tho
"Masterpiece, magnum opus (Latin, great work) or chef-d’œuvre (French, master of work, plural chefs-d’œuvre) in modern use is a creation that has been given much critical praise, especially one that is considered the greatest work of a person's career or to a work of outstanding creativity, skill, profundity, or workmanship. Historically, a "masterpiece" was a work of a very high standard produced to obtain membership of a guild or academy in various areas of the visual arts and crafts."

Here it is
Here is the picture
e
Most likely thats the survivor
Now what things reference magnum opus
I think this confirms the next chapter is original. I know some people were debating on whether or not it was.
Mightee One Entertainment?
A quick google search tells me a company by that name doesn't actually exist, in any media yet, so I think that confirms it's original.
The logo probably means something as well. Maybe a diva or pop star character. It can also be read as 2 then 1.
I'm curious about the half red and half blue lighting. That's got to be relevant.
I'm guessing Magnum Opus is a hacker of some sort.
Yeah I figured it was. I don't think we are going to be getting much, if any real licensed characters anymore in all honesty. I don't think there is much left.
If that's the new survivor they look really cool already lol
I'm kind of hype now. I was hoping it would be an original
Could this be the first time they are teasing a survivor and not a killer?
I still don't want to believe that this will be an original chapter. They've never done these kinds of teasers for an original chapter before, so I still think this is going to be licensed.
What?
Usually art or maybe a book I read once about a wasteland
Search Magnum Opus board game
There is a masked person on the front who could fit the bill for a killer.
What about death slinger and the plauge!? They had teasers. Even blight had a small one. They might have just upped their teaser game for this one.
I think after the twins and this last midchapter they really need to build enthusiasm.
They posted a picture of a cup of coffee.
I'm gonna be honest, I am 100% sure it'll be original. As I already said, Mightee One doesn't exist. In real life, or any kind of media. They've never changed their twitter before for licensed killers either, and it's normally pretty damn obvious when it is. In the past few licensed chapter's we have known pretty early on. And there is no way BHVR would be allowed to use another companies name and logo legally.
Netflix mentioned working with BHVR in a Twitter post, thus we got Demo.
The guy who owns the Ghostface mask dropped some pretty "subtle" hints about Ghostie coming to DbD, and he was just straight up leaked.
The 4th Anniversary Logo was incredibly obvious.
To be fair though, I wasn't around when Pig and all the others licensed came out, so I can't say for them.
Why are people so against original killers? They're almost always better, but that's just my opinion.
That's what I was thinking. I don't know what to think of this photo. I hope we get a trailer in the next few days.
Another korean pop star character for video games.
And the profile picture of the girl which is quite interesting. I'm super excited for this
This is 100% a reach, but... There is a game called "Opus Magnum" by Zachtronics studios, who also released a hacking game called "Exapunks". I assume this is original and not licensed, but figured I'd throw it out there.
There is also a hashtag with some Asian style symbols. Can anyone translate that?
It means fighting.
I say it's Sherry Birkins from the Resident Evil franchise
Why does this remind me of Jeffree Star?. . 😨
Any idea who this killer is going to be?
The girl in the profile picture has long hair and colorful clothes. Most likely an original character who's a singer
Gonna be honest, that seems like a reach.
I don't know Sherry Birkin, or Resi Evil that well, but the silhouette looks nothing like her. The letters in another tweet they made tied to the current mystery is in Korean.
And unless Capcom's about to announce something, Mightee One Entertainment has nothing to do with Resident Evil.
I don't care if it is original or licensed, as long as they don't screw it up like they did the last chapter, I'll be fine with what they give us.
They are playing with us. I don't think we should take it seriously.
Plot twist: The devs pull a Spirit and the character in their profile picture is actually what the next killer will be.
I'm of the same opinion. While I tend to like Orignal chapters more, as long as it's good it could be a ######### Pokemon cross over and I'd still buy it.
Obviously it’s a licensed chapter. The picture is the new killer, Billie Eilish.
I retract everything I said about it being original, this Mad Lad figured it out.
II1......Hyperfinite type II factor........M is a II1 factor
Perhaps the new killer or survivor is a computer hacker that goes by the name/alias "M"
Since Magnum Opus basically also means creative, Great Work yada yada... I think you are correct.
Mightee One ent. can also mean Mighty one, which is biblical or extraordinary.. The only Mighty one company I found is Mighty one Production, which made Game of Life and I know it is not something which would go well with the lore but this quote does: "Choose a number, Grab the dice, Let it roll, Its the GAME OF LIFE!!!!!! CAST YOUR LOT, DARE TO SEE WHERE YOU STAND."
So... the new killer is... Harley Quinn?
I thought the same, but then I assumed something of Cyberpunk and in the end it reminded me of a Nea or Yui or Feng skin.
Imagine if all this hype is to reveal their newest line of legendary cosmetics.
I would laugh my ass off then probably delete the game.
M.O.E.
Also.. I am terrible with any kind of photo program... But don't they look similar?
Even tho I have no idea how that would work with DbD tho, but since Pulse is one of the Horror movies I actually seen...
+ there is this
Magnum opus as in Talbot grimes the monks In his story line
What is it's a killer that doubles as a survivor?
Just thinking about the two and one logo in addition to the colors.
i think this will be a futuristic original chapter, maybe even with a futuristic city as a new map, like ths skyscraper on the coffee picture from DBD twitter
Might be. Monks or alchemists. Philosopher's stone. Might we get someone else from the same timeline?
Everything is pointing to a Resident Evil Resistance crossover.
The glitch on the logo is like the camera glitch that that hacking survivor can perform. Like a camera glitching out.
The picture with Feng by the monitors. (Note: Feng is the resident gamer of the group) The Mastermind in Resistance IS played by a gamer. And they use multiple monitors to track the progress of survivors.
Magnum Opus basically means one's greatest work. Mastermind.
I'm so glad cuz Leaks was calling for a FNAF crossover and I do not want that community hopping over to DbD LOL
