  • I do the same, I'm not going to be your WGLF farm stack sacrifice, I'll suicide on the hook and hope the killer camps you.

  • When I get sandbagged by my fellow survivors as a group I'll suicide instantly on the hook or if they're going to try and farm me do it. That moment of satisfaction as they come in with the killer in tow to farm me and run off and poof.

The killer has to be absolutely laughing because now they get the jerk for free.

  • I've been trying to make 5 perk slots work but it'd be highly restrictive and the 5th perk slot would be called the prime perk slot. To use that perk slot you'd have to equip one of your own unique perks and that perk slot would get a buff of some kind to that perk.

But you'd also have to equip on of your own other unique perks in one of the other 4 slots so for instance you pop Self Care for Claudette into the prime slot. It'd give you a buff to healing yourself at x % faster speed and if you had BK you'd heal yourself even faster.

The restrictions though are you can't have more than 1 other survivors unique perk in your loadout so no Balanced Landing/Urban Evasion combos.

You'd have to use at least 3 other Unique perks or combination of those and the non unique perks and killer sided would work the same.

My main issue is values in breaking it down for each perk.

  • I totally understand one the gates are powered since that's legit but I've been seeing P3 killers, Huntress, Nurses even legacy killers camping at 5 gens remaining to be done. You of course punish them by gen rushing them then they complain about swf, no skill gen rushing.

This also isn't related to anything than bad killers being in ranks they don't belong at and still somehow either safety pipping or actually pipping somehow.

It's actually pretty pathetically funny when it's an omega blink legacy Nurse with several k hours played and they just sit there smacking the person on the hook. They had no problem ending the chase and downing the person within the 1st 30 seconds of the match.

Also it's been worse since the DS changes have been announced so it's almost like some killers are throwing a temper tantrum simply for getting the rework they've wanted. They won't be able to blame all their poor play on DS anymore so they're acting out.

  • I've been getting matched with people from regions i've never really had before this last week and most of my lobbies I join in and the pings 250+.

Some of my lobbies the ping when I join is 400-900 and it doesn't go down either and quite a few I see people i've played with before also leave.

I usually get matched with Western US, Australia, New Zealand, and occasionally Eastern US, Japan, China etc.

But lately I'm getting Russia, Turkey, Africa and other places and to answer @Master I've gotten killers all over the level spectrum even when the groups with swf aren't that big a difference.

Killers need something similar to the hatch, imagine the game is very close with only 2 survivors left, instead of going for the hatch they managed to get off the last gen, props to them. What are they greeted with now? NOED. gg.

I'm all in favour of giving killers a mechanic that basically gives them a pitty-kill like survivors get when they screw up but snowballing is not fun at all.

When you know your logic is bad yet you keep repeating the same disproven stuff but the survivors don't get a pity anything.

The hatch can only spawn if only 1 survivor is left alive and at least 2 gens have been done and there's no guarantee they'll always get the hatch.

When you screw up you've still got NOED, Mori's, Insta downs oh and you can permanently remove a survivor from the game still. The survivors on the other hand can't remove you from the game the same way, so play better and take your losses like an adult.

Just as you take your wins with pride as an adult you should your losses as well, when you play badly accept it, when you play well accept it.

If you really want the hathc removed then get rid of all aura reading perks of any kind so no Mirror Myers, No All Seeing Eye, No Rules Set #2, no BBQ, No Stridor, No Whispers, No Spies.

Basically no anything that helps you track anymore and once there's one left good luck with the 30-1hr plus hide and seek matches.

Sadly anything rewarding killers for earnestly/seriously/sWeAtY trying to get their goal done will get groaned at by survivors.

Oh you mean like how certain killers complain about survivors gasp trying to survive? Lets not forget you get way more bp and can get it much quicker. The survivor dies they lose that item and take many more matches to get the same bp you can earn in just 1.

Because they will only get a few thousand blood points and they could have actually played the game? 4ks are not satisfying when it’s just one and done, it’s not victorious it’s just going through the motions to get to the next game.

Like I said, the game can remove noed from play if such behavior happens but my vision of this being in the base game is from killers who actually hunt and hook survivors and remind survivors they’re literally and figuratively not out of the woods yet.

They would get merciless if it's 4k, 4 sac's plus instant downs and hooks plus no one escapes so they'd get 10k if not more all for doing nothing.

Also the game can't remove it as easily as you say since the killer can just like I said game it and you might as well ask for free DH then.

Why would a killer do nothing until endgame? That sounds like such a waste of time AND they get a pittance of blood points. Lose lose.

And noed can always be adjusted so that scenario does not happen. Like the Entity punishes you the killer for going afk and not even chasing survivors so no noed. Or keep it a hex that spawns when the endgame hits.

Why wouldn't the killer do nothing until endgame if they get free downs and possibly a 4k all for doing absolutely nothing?

The killer can just game it, chase and stop chasing rinse and repeat and simply afk run around the map ala Billy.

    Do some research first..

So the games sold over 5 million copies and online presence climbs higher and you've managed to talk to and get opinions of over 2.5 million players how again? Since you speak for the majority you'll have no problems providing proof of this.

Oh and speaking of doing some research 1st you might want to take your own advice before posting such utter nonsense and making a theoretical fool of yourself. Since had you done your research you'd know you most definitely don't speak for the majority.

  • It's only considered an exploit is a survivor does something like climbing terrain remember? 😜😜😜😜😜😜

  • So the killer could just be lazy and do nothing the entire game except stand near and exit gate waiting with Insidious and get rewarded or. They could play horribly the entire game and not care because they've got built in NOED.

That's a no and this from a Killer main and Spirit main that'll occasionally run NOED if I'm having bad games or screwing around for the scares.

To me that's no different than rewarding the person that goes and hides all game waiting for either the hatch or the gates to be powered.

This is every Claudette ever. Why do you think they use the invisible character?

They're always the first to give up on gens and hatch camp.

This is the stereotype, I rarely play blendette or use my p3 outfit when I play Claudette and I cleanse totems unhook do gen and everything.

Most P3 Claudette's actually aren't like that and I always try and do gens, unhooks, totems, heals etc when I play her. But I also don't play stupidly and run in plain sight of the killer or do risky saves which seems to be expected.

  • I've had people sandbag using all the perks like that but Aftercare seems to be the worst for it right now. The only time Bond is worse is when it's a Freddy and they bring him right to everyone else.

So is playing merry go round simulator with the killer I don't use my P3 Claudette outfit and rarely my P3 Meg since it's an invitation to get dodged or camped. If I go with a bright outfit it seems to get the same response since they assume I'm a great looper.

Killers looping is toxic, also killers immersed survivors are toxic.

That's a strange phenomenon about this forum honestly.

Sometimes DS gets hatred, then SWF, after that NOED, after that Nurse, p3 Claudettes, adrenaline...

One thing that never changes is that people just focus on something and everybody starts to talk about it. I honestly haven't seen anything like this ever before in any forum.

You haven't been to enough forums.

The League of Legends forums say hi lol and yes there's some forums that live for nothing other than to complain.

Edit: The only change for Noed should be the speed increase being removed or having it be a timer based thing so 10/15/20 seconds.

As an tradeoff for that if it's active and gets cleansed the speed boost remains for 10/15/20 seconds.

I don't like to be dodged just because you'd rather ignore the reality that bringing in items makes killers dodge, regardless of them being justified in doing so or not. I like that you're speaking to me as if I'm the one dodging when playing killer, even though I don't dodge because of items when I play killer and was speaking from a survivor PoV.

So bringing in items means it's ok to dodge

That's not what I said. When you read and reply to what I said, let me know.

So bringing in items means it's ok to dodge, well then survivors should get to see what items killers bring so they can dodge too. The dodging is an excuse plain and simple and killers doing it just want a farming simulator and easy matches plain and simple.

The ones defending killers doing it are just as bad, it's like a child misbehaving but because some aunts and uncles defend the misbehavior the child thinks it's ok.

Let's be honest here the whole 4 man swf swat teams are rare, yes they exist but they seem to exist a lot more as figments of some killers imaginations to be used whenever they play badly.

I play most solo survivor when I'm doing that side and I see 1 person join with an item or i do and it's instant dodge even when it's a tb or medkit or even gasp a spooky medkit.

The bottom line is if killers are going to dodge items then they should go play a different game like farming simulator. If the lobby has 4 items well you've got Franklin's Demise. Don't have that well go buy it like the rest of us did or get it out of the shrine.

Since everyone else that's had that problem has done one of those 2 things if they wanted the items that badly.

The only legitimate reason to dodge is for excessive ping since it's not fair to either side and if killers would stop dodging they'd get better.

The winter bloodwebs for Killers should have stayed like how the increased item rarity from chests did, but I wouldn't be surprised if Survivors whined their asses off and review bombed the game until the Killer bloodwebs were reverted back to normal.

Or as most survivors do they're trying to actually survive and use those items they've spent their HARD EARNED bloodpoints on. They're not trying to use some made up excuse so that killers can dodge because they want a farming simulator.

You then get rehooked usually and then get pissed at said Meg for getting you're hooked by running in plain sight.

So would you rather A get saved by a Meg playing smart or B get rehooked right after you got unhooked by the idiot that ran in plain sight of said killer?

Well the problem is I've got a stockpile of items and so I ry and waste them and killers complain about entering the lobby with an item not equipped.

I come into the lobby with an item equipped and even when I'm the only person with an item it's instant dodge it's like make up your mind.

If they want no items or addons then they shouldn't bring mori's or use addons either and yes I know about the power difference.

Which it's funny because killers that play perkelsss and addon less play better than those with full loadouts.

I fear you have already gained a bad reputation in that case. No killer will dodge a lobby just because there is 1 single item in it, he would never find a game

Well I'm somewhat notorious for my totem cleansing so I get dodged a lot just due to my name so I have to change it. But as far as outfits go I've not played as a P3 Claudette in ages, I use the default cosmetics most of the time.

Some killers also don't like me because I won't go running in plain sight to get an unhook when they're camping. They want someone easy in their lobbies not someone that plays sneakily and doesn't go for the stupid stuff.

Where is the game mechanic that avoids all 4 escaping?

That would be the entire game up to the point where the hatch opens.

I know it's shocking that a killer is expected to actually sacrifice survivors before all 4 can escape.

  • No because if they added in late game changes to address gen rush without fixing the camping/tunneling you'd just make it worse.

Both sides need to stop looking at this through the personal bias lens and look at it objectively and how it will help overall balance and future changes.

  • I had a 4 man lobby months back with 3 flashlights and 1 TB, 1 P3 Claudette, 1 Green Apron Claudette, a P3 Meg and a David King.

I equipped BBQ/Enduring/Rancor/Whispers sadly I didn't have Lightborn for the meme lulz otherwise I'd have taken that and Franklin's.

It turned to to be Coldwind Barn map of hell with 2 DS and 2 BT with 3 purple flashlights with purple lens and green batteries.

I got the other 3 with the P3 Claudette disconnecting on the hook to give hatch and the poor David didn't know where it was lol.

The David I gave hatch with 1 gen left to do even though I had him for my 4k and had to basically lead him to it since it was super far away from him.

  • You can simply submit that to support and let the mods deal with them since a kick option would just get abused.

Though in time this change might not seem that big of a deal as players adapt.

Yeah I'm confused by how this would work with say Dying Light/Rancor/STBFL/Remember Me/PWYF because does that mean only the 1st obsession counts or what.

I mean can you simply run 4 obsession perks and use it on each survivor in turn which would be stupidly broken. But then you've got the problem of you obsession changes but how do you deal with not hitting the correct target then.

Also does the 60 seconds counter start while on the ground or once you've been picked up and if you get rehooked is it still active?

How is that any different than a killer slugging them and leaving them to bleed out, they then need to start running unbreakable or No Mither and play a way he/she doesn't want.

Ok most of the time when a killer slugging is to won time or because he/she hates one person with the new DS this will be the final scenario all the time

That's not always true, I've seen legacy and P3 nurses with several k hours played slugging at 5 gens and other times they do it to the non obsession just to be dicks about it. Don't go making excuses for slugging just because the new DS changes,

Since slugging existed long before these changes were even announced and ll you're going to end up doing is force more people to group up and run 4 isnta heals/Unbreakable etc.

Oh sure you can dodge but then guess what you get no lobbies while the killers that don't and won't slug and that'll simply adapt get lobbies.

I like how these perks sound considering that this could make generators influence how people play in more ways, but I have a couple of questions and one suggestion.

    As far as questions go ;

    • how big of a speed boost are we talking about when they activate their perk?
    • With the lockout, can any other survivor interact with the specific gen that you tried to use greed is good on? Or is it just totally locked out for all survivors for that one specific gen and the person who failed can't interact with any gens, could you go more in-depth on this?

In addition to this I would like to suggest that perhaps the Gluttony Kills perk automatically activates when spirit, wraith, legion, leatherface and maybe hillbilly have the 4 tokens and use their power as their powers modify their movement speeds so it would be nice especially for spirit users to be able to just get the speed boost while specifically focusing on using their power properly. This doesn't need to be the case but this seems like something that would be very convenient. Regardless, I like these perks.

The movement speed boost would be similar to how PWYF works, it gives a flat 1/2/3 second movement speed burst at your current speed. So if you save it for say Bloodlust 2 then you get a movement speed burst for 1/2/3 seconds at that same movement speed.

The lockout timer affects both you in the sense you can't work on any gens if you fail the great skill check depending on perk tier I/II/III. It also locks that gen out from anyone else coming to working on it for 5/10/15 seconds.

However if someone else is working on the same gen at the time it goes on lockout they're not locked out from continuing to work on it during the lockout timer. However if they stop working on it and retry to work on it they still have to wait out the lockout timer that remains.

The reason i've got the ability lockout is so that the high mobility killers that can already go flying across the map don't become op with this perk. So for instance if Billy charges up his chainsaw and flies across the map to where he knows people are at he can't just immediately pop this for an easy down.

However he can still activate the ability to move closer to them say for instance he's got Tinkerer activated he can then move even closer before using his chainsaw.

If there was no lockout the lesser mobility killer would really suffer and think of amanda, goes into crouch and then 2/4/6 seconds later pops that speed boost to get really close.

For an even scarier and I do mean scary think Mirror Myers or even just regular Myers with this sneaking up on you with M&A and or Tinkerer.

  • @Doc_W__HOLLIDAY said:
By missing a great/good skillcheck, I assume you mean if you hit the skillcheck too early/late?

Yes, which is why the skill check windows would be separated and so if you miss a good one early or just after it counts as that. But if you miss a great right next to it before or after it's a missed great kill check and i left the good one in for newbies.

I'm sitll working on getting a good picture representation of how the skill check windows would look.

16m on billy would be broken because of his chainsaw, same goes for nurse. Most other killers with 16m tr would work except for huntress ofc.

I think the no-mobility killers could really use a much lower TR to offset the fact that they can't cross the map in 5 seconds like billy or nurse.

I've actually got a perk idea I've been working on for both sides with the killers being pretty easy to use and it'd help slower killers become monsters. The survivor one is more detailed and induces them to take chances but with a heavy price if they fail which helps the killer.

Barely has any pallets and is perfect for claudettes

Freaken Yamaoka Estate. I hate that map so much as both killer and survivor.

I love that map as both sides and certain killers on there are disgustingly good and Jeff is actually better then Claudette on that map.

@ToxicFengM1n And what about the 7 carry perks/addons killers have?

and what about 18 2nd chance perks and add ons survivors have? insta heal, ds, sc, sb, bt... those are all perfectly fine, survivors deserve 17 chances to try and survive yes

Wow i didn't know i could equip 18 second chance perks with only 4 perk slots while playing solo and I also didn't know that as a killer I couldn't simply you know wait out BT.

I've only ever run DS for the adept and 5x trying it and never hitting the skill check until the 6th time against a Freddy 1v1 after the other 3 quit at 5 gens.

I don't run SB unless it's a lower level toon that has nothing better, I don't run BT because I don't go for stupid unhooks right in front of the killer.

I don't run insta heals unless it's a daily and I need to ensure I escape or it's with a friend and they need to
    escape for the daily.

But sure survivors can down the killer and hook them oh wait no we can't so we have to have something to help us out.

As a killer main all the excuses in your posts says one thing, you're the issue for your games not the survivors and perhaps you just need to improve and stop complaining so much.

@fcc2014 I don't really have a problem with the change other than a few small changes since this is similar to what I and other suggested for so long.

The 60 second timer shouldn't start counting if you're on the ground and the perk should be active for everyone until the 1st person is downed and uses it. After that it's inactive unless they do an unhook and the person that used it 1st it's no longer usable during the game.

But that 1st person can get bonus bp for doing at least 1 SAFE unhook during the trial and the others in order for their DS to unlock have to do SAFE unhooks.

The issue that killers don't realize is that if they start going full on slugging you'll see 4 man swf's much more often and 4 medkits with instal heals of some type.

You'll also start seeing Saboteur perk setups with Unbreakable and probably No Mither/Iron Will setups as well.
