I dunno, it's been several hours and they're still both blank.

As a licensed character, she's on the fringe of horror, but she's been there nonetheless. As it stands, none of the original survivors (maybe Sable) are tied to any sort of horror, and they're in the game. I think the horror-only characters should remain Killers, and we can get any Survivor we want, because they would also try to survive a nightmare realm, even if they came from a cartoon.
-
Does she really have a dress like that? Is it coming to the shop sometime?
-
Tryks Survivor skin, please? =D

Ok but if I bring an 'Escape! Cake' escape, should the killer let me escape as well ?
The cake explicitly states you get to escape, it's right there in the rules. 😉
-
It's quiet like any other game; the system isn't going to take off like the old model.
-
Sable is so new, why do people hate her already? I'm trying to unlock her during the event.
-
The events bring out the worst of players, on both sides. I tried a few Survivor games, and got tunneled right from the start. I switch to Killer and people give up on first hook/run to killer and just point the whole game. Why are you people playing? Why not just have a fun relaxing game? With cakes all around you're making 300k points per game, there's no need to be so bad to your own team or the other.
-
I don't get it either, and I main Survivor. I think it's because everyone else does it, they do too, and are sort of 'communicating' with each other. If it's just them and Killer, I think it's just bad manners, especially if everyone else had to die to give them the opportunity.
If a Killer is friendly (IE didn't go too hard, had a good time, let us escape) I crouch momentarily in a mock bow and then leave.
-
No? No.
-
During this event I have seen RPD on repeat, Eyrie repeat, Game twice, Lerys once, and not a single classic map from McMillan or Coldwind or anything (maybe once or twice, but super rare).

Giving up on hook is sadly a necessity, since right now, you can have situations where survivors will have lost no matter what, like when only 2 survivors are left, or 3 with 3 or 4 gens still around. In those cases it makes no sense to keep staying in the game.
I do agree that it's really annyoing when a survivor gives up for some stupid reason, which happens often enough, but again, suiciding on hook seems like a necessity to me.
One thing that could help to encourage survivors to stay in matches even if things are looking grim are better bloodpoints. Right now, killers get more bloodpoints on average than survivors.
I've been playing a while, and I can often top the score as killer with 0 deaths. The bonus point system to incentivize less-populated sides is great, but people need something to stay in the game, so I agree with you. Points are nice but I would also dream of a Shard bonus. Trying to fill out two platform's rosters is a royal pain, to say nothing of default outfits years later…

Theres s lot more people playing than 30,000. And everyone can add to the challenge exceeding the three threshold.
You mean if you keep the challenge selected, even after completed, it still counts? I wondered about this. I was afraid you could only add in your personal challenge, which was 3 for the first in the new set.

Jumping onto a hook the moment you see [Killer You Don't Like] is the same as a DC. It doesn't help your team and it makes the game miserable for the rest. You could at least hop on a gen and try to stealth the game so you never get chased by them. Or think of it as practice! I used to hate Doctor because I could do nothing about him. I still do; but at least I try and avoid the shocks.

That's interesting to hear, although I guess for Trappers it sucked.
I'm sure it did, but back then you were really relying on a teammate to free you. I remember taking the perk and it took me nearly half a minute to free myself, so it wasn't like a 'free trap escape' either.
Edit: I don't want to sound callous toward Trappers, as I certainly don't think their kit should be countered by a single perk, and so easily. I'm pretty sure that's why they removed it. I wonder if they should change it to like... one long escape bar and you get out when done, like Pig Traps but without skill checks. A second teammate can speed the process.

FOMO is one of the scummiest things any company can do. Spare your "business first" argument; the companies exist to make games, not wealth. Anything to make the players happier is a good thing for game and company health.
-
It used to let you slip out of traps easier. I miss that.
-
This is an old post but I agree, I have it on both platforms and had to re-buy most of the stuff. I'm missing a lot still, and lost my Stranger Things DLC because it went away and could not purchase. I would love both of my accounts to connect so I have access to all my content on either side.

Already progressing! 👍

Two words:
Bunny Ears
-
A Werewolf/Red Riding Lass chapter would make my whole year. Give him Demo's dash, I don't care, I can't play him on current platform anyway. Put bundles of bushes around the map and he can pop out of them to scare people.
-
This is actually my favorite map, I adore the indoor, same-level setting and how it's almost a maze-like structure with potential threats around any corner. It's hard to escape from if there's a stealth killer, but sometimes that's part of the fun.
-
Most survivors spawn in corners right near gens, often with at least 1 other person (sometimes 2). It's easy when they all swarm to the gen and finish quick before the killer can make it across the map or while they're busy setting traps/harassing other gens.
It's also how the 3-gen strategy begins, which is why I always slip to the middle gens first, if possible; and why I'm usually the first one on hook!
-
I play Singularity a lot now and I keep getting hits after the pallet is stunning me. I feel bad for the survivors. Is this what you mean?
-
I'm having the same issue. I've recorded some clips unfortunately they don't appear online and I don't know how to direct-send them from XBOX.
-
Missed them by a few hours >_<
-
I know many would like VC, but I would personally despise it. Far too many toxic people around to be dealing with that, and the game wasn't designed around it; there's a reason your survivors are silent. On top of that, shutting it off might make people report you for 'not cooperating,' and on certain platforms this can remove their ability to play the game, regardless of the developers intent. Give us a wheel of gestures, or little pictographs above our heads that mean different things.
-
It's because there are certain "unwritten rules" for various games that imply the overall fun and longevity of the game. You aren't allowed to look when playing Hide-and-Seek, because that defeats the spirit of the game. Same as just showing every player every other player at all times; it's that type of 'information' where each piece becomes more useful and allows you various advantages or disadvantages in the goal for your side (this is also what makes perk choice such a big deal).
You can argue all you want that certain behaviors are 'fair-game' since cheating and griefing are the only rules, but aren't you upset when a fellow Survivor blocks you somewhere to waste your time, or work with the killer to let them win? Part of the game is worrying about camping, tunneling, etc. but some are more offensive than others and can break 'the spirit of the game.' If such behaviors become too common, there will be an overall lack of fun in playing, and people will start migrating into other games, killing this one off. There are plenty of us who still do enjoy playing, even if just occasionally, and want the servers, and playerbase, to be supported for a while yet.
-
Give Trapper and Wraith real Mori's, we can discuss anything else afterward.
-
I haven't seen a killer's aura at all, regardless of who has Kindred. My killers can't see anyone with Deer Stalker either.
-
Yep, came to report this, and it isn't just Kindred; I fear all Aura (or some) reading perks are borked. Deer Stalker definitely doesn't work, even with a person right in front of you, or right behind a wall, or anywhere. Nothing works for me.
-
Your time on this earth is far more valuable than the four minutes it takes to watch them bleed. This is also holding their time hostage as well. For all you know they have Unbreakable so either way it's not a guarantee; pick them up and let come what may.
-
Why would seasonal skins be exempt from Iri shards, even 1yr later?

Including sweaters, yes
What?! The sweaters are going to be seasonal? Those are my favorite! I don't have them on this platform yet.
-
I agree, too many have an easy time with some killers (not all, of course) and they all just blitz out the gate. If you had a good game, got some points, and made it to the exit, doesn't that count as a win? Who cares if you get sacrificed at that point, it's only a few BPs. If a killer doesn't have any kills and didn't camp or tunnel, I usually consider sticking around for EGC or an Onryo glare.

Way back in Tome 1 there is a challenge, Six Feet Under (sacrifice 4 Survivors in the basement within in a single trial), this was before the DC penalty and every time Survivors realised you were doing that challenge they would DC as you carried them to the Basement, every single time. So, no, I won't help you get your challenge.
Punishing people for the actions of others isn't going to solve the issues both sides have with each other. I always let people get challenges, and as many have said they'll die right after. You're not killers and survivors in a sick experiment, you're human beings playing with other people who enjoy earning goodies through gameplay. Besides, there are plenty of challenges to complete the Rifts, if that's what you wanted.

I'd love it if they just sold charms in packs or for like $1-2 apiece.

its still just as annoying, however its a viable technique.
I don't believe that it is. The complete inability to unhook was never intented, and an earlier (much earlier) dev stream showed that the hook was now able to be used from all angles, so the killer blocking the front wouldn't stop them. In these cases the survivors should still have been able to unhook from next to the victim, even if the killer is standing right there.
-
I liked a med-kit soon into a match; now you have to go and get hit, and escape, in order to get one. Pulled from a hook you're likely to get a heal, preventing you from getting it again. The other guaranteed-item perks don't have this drawback, I wonder why they added it. Maybe it was used some way I don't know, and it was a problem.
-
Still bugged, achieved it three times in one day, once with full 12 hooks/no addons and still cannot unlock. Sad because getting it with him has been difficult for me.

Or televisions placed around the map.
That would be scary! And they blink static randomly; you never know if she's about to crawl out of it or not!
-
Survivor is the same girl, but before transformation, though still has long hair covering her face. Does the killer skitter-crawl along the ground? That would be horrifying, and awesome.
-
Seems like. There's another achievement for getting an item someone else brought in, but since it didn't register I imagine it's fresh-map items only.
-
PS4; can confirm totem invulnerability and the horrible, horrible lag with the event. The connection shows green yet in-game it's a slideshow. Turn the camera a tad? Now you're looking completely behind you and become totally disoriented. Try to adjust and you're getting dizzy, looking in random directions. The on-hit lag spike present since release (any console player understands this) is so horrible taking a single hit is a death sentence.
Also, while my connection has always been pretty stable, the past few weeks it's been completely spotty. I'll DC all the time for reasons I can't understand. The game will tell me the LAN cable has come out (it hasn't) yet the console desktop shows me connected with recommendations, friends list, everything. It's not just this game, but I get kicked out of matches every now and then.
-
Yeah I mean they're ghosts, right? They don't have to eat or sleep or shower, apparently, since they're all filthy. You'd think at least in some corner the Entity would have conceptualized a bathtub or something. And if you want me to play along, it's probably more like "whoever spawned at the campfire for this brief interlude" to have a few moments with before another killer comes.
