Though there is a bug with this, I'm not (entirely) sure it's affecting this case. Take Nea's newest/linked skin for example. It features a cloak that covers her back and sides. Therefore, the charms have been moved to her front, so that they're visible. I can't confirm this is the case but it makes sense to me. Maybe somewhat the same for Cheryl? I don't know. Take an upvote because the problem is ridiculous on Zarina.

Why bother? If Mori's are fair game...

I would add a downside to being injured so it’s not as easy to power through gens.
Add an action speed debuff to encourage healing, maybe something else too like smaller terror radius etc.
At the moment you never feel at risk while injured as long as you can get to one of the many pallets that there is no way past without breaking it and following to the next one.
You can add as much atmosphere as you want to this game; as long as survivors are so much stronger and have an easier time than killers, they are never going to feel scared at all unless they are actually in danger imo.
It currently feels like Scooby Doo with kids being chased around a couple of boxes on the floor like ring of roses.
Do this and fix anti-heal perks. I hate the way they function and effect a game. A single Sloppy Butcher will shut a game down sometimes. I usually run Botany Knowledge, I'm supposed to be this expert healer, and yet the bar is still slowed for me. 33% bonus doesn't counter this? Not even Thanatophobia? And if they run multiple together, it takes a minute to heal. That's too long.
I know Killers want to slow the game down, but this is far too much. Most survivors won't put up with the time and insist on hitting gens, getting killed easier and refusing to heal others. I think they're too strong as-is, and with reduced efficiency requiring people to seek out heals, they have to be tweaked as well.

PS4 is iffy with stuff like that. I wanted my Paladins content to carry over, but Sony has some legal issue and prevents it. So everyone can get all their stuff but us PS4 users. I hope DBD lets us because I have near everything here and may one day want to switch to PC if I ever get one.

The point of the Rift is to be grindy so you're tempted to buy Auric Cells for Tiers.
And even if they did think about having a 5th level for Tomes then still no, extremely grindy or stupidly difficult/rare situation challenges suck.
Yeah, but you already have to BUY the Rift. Making it so difficult to progress is just frustrating and the ability to buy tiers, while nice as an option for left-overs, is an insult when you've already paid and should have plenty of time getting through it. Grinding challenges is still a pain and I'm only halfway through! I finished T4 days ago, as far as the Charm reward, but now I have to go back and through all the challenges to frantically scramble for progress and it's aggravating.
-
I always kick gens, even if a survivor is right there. The scratch marks, blood pools, and sounds give them away. You can always find them really fast, it's not like kicking takes a lot of time and I used to play before they made it fast. Same style, haven't changed. Finding survivors, especially injured ones, is incredibly easy.
Now, if all they're doing is rotating to hide and nobody is on gens, that's a pain.

the reason why season passes have to be completed in a certain time it's to make people FOMO, hence forcing them to buy the premium track and tiers. Devs have literally no good reason to leave the rift open for extra time.
To make customers happy? I can never reach the end of a Pass, and it leaves me upset. I already paid for the game (twice) all the DLC (twice) a plethora of extra outfits on two systems, AND the pass itself. I now have to buy my way to the end as well? What nonsense is this?
I finished the Paladins pass with only minimal grinding and with PLENTY of time left over! Yet, conversely, the DBD pass I'm like halfway through, with no means to boost progress, even though I'm completing all the challenges I can. This doesn't seem right to me.
*Oh and the Paladins pass had 120 levels...

it sounded like i was hotwiring a car
I thought I was! Probably the first gen I worked on was the center in that building connected to the car. I thought I was starting it up! I was so eager to see what happened when it finished (like the boat horn going off, the doctor's lights going haywire, etc). I thought it was going to blast the horn and turn on the headlights. I was disappointed when nothing happened.

For me it's a bunch of self care users vs killers with sloppy..very infuriating
In my experience they all run Sloppy on console. I keep Botany on all the time, and the bar hasn't been yellow in weeks. It's always red. I thought Botany should counter Sloppy but oh well; it doesn't seem to help much either. 33% faster and still slow? Darn.

Why do stealthy people get labelled as cowards? It's a game about avoiding a deadly killer.
-
Hi! I came here to post this same issue. PS4, no HUD, skillchecks, actions, anything. Could not complete generators, but all the actions were still available (you could still attempt to escape from hook/struggle until end as normal).
I got a clip but can't post or link here since source is private for personal reasons.
-
The hotel would be an excellent location!
Edit: OOH With hedge maze! O_O
-
Please check this out because it would be a great help to those of us on console.
-
I've had a problem a bunch of times. It's especially a problem in the basement, when someone dies and drops their item. Unhooking another, even if they're on the adjacent hook, becomes impossible unless you pick up the item.
If you already have one, all you do is swap items back and forth and watch the person die because you didn't have the interaction to unhook them.
-
Have this too, playing on PS4
-
Desperate for Struggle removal here. Not the phase, just any input.
-
I would play a Perkless mode, so yes.
Do you mean like you would come back as a ghost, able to help out others in some small way? That sounds awesome! Snare the Killer, block a hit once in a (great) while, etc.
-
Maybe everyone deserves to have fun playing a video game, especially one that they paid for. Even new players.
Making it too hard on them will frustrate them into quitting, and we need more players. People leave all the time.

I don't own Clown, but I'd buy it.

Looks great! I despise makeup, it looks ridiculous and doesn't belong in a game like this (even if their real outfits would have included it). I hate the red lips especially.
-
Alright, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't need to be confirmed for the rest. We all just assume they like cake, considering it comes in different kinds, and is, of course, cake.
-
Not everyone is skilled enough to run a killer for 5 gens. The game is actually exciting. Being found is a detriment, and you don't want to let your team down by dying right away.
-
Adam West was in an episode.
I want Adam West. As a Survivor, of course.

Going along with what I commented previously, sometimes you gotta switch, sometimes you gotta go your own way.

So..a feature reward Survivors hiding so hard?
I would say, a game start with 5min that count down, finish a Gen will add up another 5min. If the count down time dropped to 0. EGC start. Of course Gates have to be powered to open.
Whoops! I didn't mean to open the gate, I meant sort of an event that would punish survivors. After enough time without a gen being worked on, or perhaps completed, the Entity would bring all survivors into the Injured state, revealing their locations. The time and conditions might need to change, but there really ought to be a mechanic in place to protect against this sort of nonsense. The crows are good for lazy people and finding members of the AFK Locker Club, but cycling around to prevent crows all while hiding and nothing else (no, totems don't count) just isn't appropriate.
Not a permanent Mid-Game Collapse exactly, but something that could be started under the right conditions and perhaps halted by the Killer if the game got going again. I don't know what it could be but it's not important, as long as something is in place to prevent situations like this.
-
FNaF, love or hate, is a hugely popular 'franchise' and would be very well-received in the DBD universe overall. Now, a lot of players suggest that Freddy (or, indeed, any of his animatronic pals) are 'too cutesy' for a Horror game, but I strongly disagree! They aren't fluffy, Care Bear fun-time friends that sing happy songs (during FNaF gameplay), but are tall, powerful machines intent on doing horrible things to you with freaky expressions on their faces.
I argue that, even if you aren't a fan of the FNaF games, this is exactly the kind of creepy, frightening killer this game was designed for. They would fit very well in this game, and I would simply adore it if the different cosmetics were the various Freddy Friends you encounter in the games. I don't know if this would be too much work, but perhaps as a paid content it includes three or four 'killers' which are all the same, just reskins. That way you can have the eponymous Freddy, the fox, the bird, etc.
I do not believe this should include a Survivor as a faceless security guard would just be extra, unnecessary work for the development team.
-
It absolutely is holding the game hostage and against the spirit of the game. You aren't completing or attempting to complete objectives. I also believe there should be some feature where the Killer can open a gate if no gen has been completed in a certain time, or some change to the Crow system where you need to touch something within 3-5 minutes or you get birdie friends.
-
No One Left Behind gets some use out of me. It's great; the drawback is it doesn't work when gates are powered, only when the EGC has begun. Double speed unhook allowed me to nab a hooked teammate with hovering killer and get us to the exit gate.

Did you mean to say no?
I mean I would do both, probably. I enjoy games where I can help other actual people, so if it were me + team against a person or against AI, I'd goof around with both modes.
-
Heck yeah, I love co-op games against an AI if it's designed that way (stealth games like this are amazing). There is a Meg AI in the tutorial who's better than me, though; so there's that.

I just picture him giving you a fistbump after he hooked you.
Oh no, once he was free he dropped me and let us all heal (we all took hits trying to get him out) and then the game resumed as normal. He got us all but gave last guy the hatch. Sent a nice message after thanking us.
-
It picks up about 5AM EST, but overnight you can't be Survivor. It's about 20 minutes or more before you find one, so I just do Killer if I want BP or something. I could do Challenges but I'm not playing killer enough to complete a Tome so it seems pointless. I have other games until you can queue Survivor.
-
Legion got stuck in the Killer Shack Pallet on Shelter Woods. To get him out, we had to get injured (he could still hit us) and I crawled across the pallet for a Grab, which shunted him outside to freedom.
-
I approve.
-
Dwight is good people.
-
I get it once in a while if I play lousy and fail to save someone, or if they're insulting me as a Killer because I let them win... yeah. I also will maybe get one kill in a match and that person starts spouting nonsense (the David who, knowing he was my Rancor, popped the last gen in front of me and expected- I don't know what he expected but he ate a Mori).
The worst was being told to cause great harm to myself to the detriment of my continued existence because I did not join a party to give an edge over the killer. Schools are failing us.
-
It seems like people are stuck in this NO HEAL - GEN! mentality. I've had several games where I simply can NOT get a single teammate to heal me, so for the first time I have to run Self Care. I like games where lots of stuff happens, not these 4-injured running around blitzing gens and dying to NOED because people freak out if they catch you Cleansing. There's also been a lot of insta-unhooks as if all of us injured people with no pallets have anywhere to go instead of back to the hook. A lot of games end with only one or two gens done because of this, and getting killed by survivors who are supposed to be on the same side really bites. It's not your obligation to see me escape but you could, at the very least, not be a direct hindrance.
-
Okay, but it would still count the challenge, wouldn't it? The Archive bar wasn't present at the end of the match like it should have been.
-
Oh neat, okay, so it's a late release, I see! I'll save up both currencies for that nifty Feng skin, for sure. That makes me feel a lot better <3
-
Hiya, I wasn't able to play during the last Rift (last played around end of first Rift, have the Claudette top but nothing else I think) and I heard they would be available later to buy (either shards or cells, I don't care) yet they never appeared in the shop to my knowledge. I didn't think it was a timed event where it was only a short period, I thought they would remain there.
Starting up now, I notice there's no Rift currently and none of the extra cosmetics are in the shop. Are they going to be added later? I'll get them with Cells once I'm able, but that Feng outfit is super awesome and though my adored Bunny suit finally came in, I really would like that Demon outfit she's got.
-
I've had longer killer times than normal, which is weird because at that rank they're usually filled super-fast. Survivor wait times are even longer than I'm used to, 5-8min only to get a lobby dodge or a load DC so you see 3 seconds of map before the end screen.
I think maybe swimsuit cosmetics might attract more players and thus alleviate the issue. Yeah, I mean for both killers and survivors ~_^

In the PTB, they were testing 75% self care speed, except self care reduced all healing you did to 75% speed; not just healing yourself. But it was broken because everyone just paired it with botany and healed themselves at 108% healing speed, so they didn't go through with that change.
Anyways, you can run whatever you want. If someone complains, you can either ignore them, or just lie and say you were doing an archive challenge or something. I run Self Care and Botany sometimes because it's much more efficient to heal yourself after being unhooked and let the rescuer work on the generator solo and to take the 20 seconds to heal yourself up, rather than both of you being committed to the healing action for 16 seconds and then repairing less than 10% of the generator together in those 4 seconds. That makes up the difference of 1/4th of a generator being completed.
I see, thank you for the info!

Wait Last year got a new killer? Didn't the devs go silent for months and no updates came out at all?
Might have to check this out
The creator was blocked because of school violence, so the publisher wanted to tone it down, but he refused. So he funded a Kickstarter (possibly another one) to keep it going. The new version has a giant spider, it looks like a really neat game.

It's 83%.
Remember back when they tested Self Care to heal at 75% speed instead of 50% and everyone was healing themselves faster than they would heal other people when they combined it up with Botany?
No, I don't. Is that true? Didn't they change it though, since it takes soo long to Self Care now? If it really is 83%, that's awesome. I thought it was 33% of the 50% SC normal, so an additional 16% or so.
Then, will people rage if I'm in red ranks running Self-Care+Botany? I always run Botany, and rarely SC, but...
-
Horror Hide & Seek. It's not, but still fun.
-
I don't believe BK makes a significant difference with SC. I've run them together, and it still takes a while, even without Sloppy Butcher. The heal speed is not 83% like I'm sure many think, but probably half of the benefit (something like 66% or so) and although it sounds like an improvement I really cannot tell by looking if it's faster than SC.
With perks like Thana or SB, the bar will always be red while healing through SC, but with a med-kit there should be a point in which those perks get countered, yet there never was with yellow or green kits. Due to the bugged system now I don't know if I tried with a purple kit but the only point I"m trying to make is that instead of pairing Self-Care/Botany, people should try something like Kindred, Empathy, or We'll Make It since those perks all have noticeable benefits and unless there's some official test someone does regarding the two, I still refuse to believe they're pairing the way they should (or people seem to think they do). Sorry for the confusing block of text.
-
There's no mechanic conceived in which people will not abuse, because people are like that. I know exactly what you mean; god-tier survivors take you off right after the hook expecting you to get away and stall for 4 gens, but instead I go right back down. What did they expect, <2 feet from the killer? And no Borrowed Time? I don't run exhaustion perks, so no Dead Hard. I don't run DS, and maybe that's my fault, but it also shouldn't be a requirement against teammates instead of the killer. I also understand challenges, I want them too, but at least wait until it's safe! Or block a hit for me, please! Well, solo-queue gripes...
-
I hated the old 99 meta, I like this better, although I miss the thrill of finishing a gen and having the killer bee-line over, back when it was thrilling and scary to decide if you should complete it or not.
I'm still trash at chases, but I play killer sometimes too, and the way people can evade even a single hit for such a long time is kind of silly. Both sides have gripes and problems, it's not just one.
