Is that in-four-days Tuesday? For the new chapter?
-
Say there's a hot Bunny Girl Yui coming out, and also some of the challenges are a bit tricky. Only one can come out soon. Which would you prefer? ~_^

Which is sadder: DBD having archive adjustments delayed or Magic Arena having friend lists delayed?
Magic players don't have friends, silly. =P

I don't relish the idea of running around without an atmosphere of horror. Lerys map is pretty bright, but an outdoor map would have to be a football stadium fully lit or something. The beach would be a cool place, bit imagine it at night? When no one's around, and all sorts of slimy things are dredging themselves out of the ocean to come get you.
-
You could always challenge yourself with in-game limitations...
-
I'll do old challenges in the meantime. I had only rushed the completion because I got such a late start.
-
Please yes! No more Struggle.

Yeah concoles don't have this issue, except when you get a grab on a gen and they get up at the same instant it does do that animation switch and then you hit them instead.
I can confirm this is how it works.
-
For years I didn't do Self Care, but I do now because people say it stacks with Botany Knowledge. I disagree, it doesn't seem 33% (or any) faster at all, but whatever. If I had to remove one I'd remove Self Care, but I'm tired of running around injured and easy prey all the time.
-
I think he's incredibly strong in that he has both stealth and insta-down. Also, I took one out of Shroud the other day, and he chased me for two seconds then I became exposed. I think the mechanic to break him out is definitely wonky and needs some fine-tuning. You can stare at him all day and it won't even register.
-
Both came "from another dimension!"
-
What's really going to bother you later is... have you ever seen Yui and Mileena in the same room? O_O
-
Use Feral Frenzy. If everyone is Mending or Healing, they are not Repairing. Easier said than done, I know, but I see too many running around just going for basic attacks. Deep Wounds forces them to break the chase desperately or go down regardless. I'm a low level Legion so maybe I need more experience before I have the right to discuss pointers, but this has helped me in the past.
-
I did most Survivor side 1+2, just started 3. It's hard to get SAFE unhooks when everyone else is rushing like mad and all killers are camping. Seriously fewest escapes today in a month of play because all gens shut down during hook and everyone swarms like busy bees around a hive. It would be funny if I didn't also want progress.
-
There's never an excuse to bring race/religion/orientation/identity into it.
-
I only started a week ago. I'm T14 =(
-
I think it's fine as it is. While I admit a lot can happen in a full minute, the point is that someone fresh off the hook has a second chance for only one minute. That's not a lot of time to get to safety, heal, and perhaps do some other stuff, unless the person is hanging around the hook to save the person who rescued initially, or if there are only one or two players left. On top of that it only works once per match.
There are lots of game-changing perks, but that's what they're for, to change up the way things happen and surprise you. With the survival rate <50% (to my knowledge) giving an extra chance for one minute doesn't seem like that big a deal. Not everyone has DS. And with the plethora of stealth, insta-kill killers (sometimes in the same package) they need some chance to escape. You can't base the game around the skills of the top 1%.
-
There might be an updated version for next-gen consoles, but the better question is if you could own that better version and keep your progress/purchases from the previous one.
-
I want this so bad. It should be hold the button on first hook to attempt escape, and maybe hold button on second phase to suicide, though I fear we have enough of that nowadays as it is. People die on first hook all the time for reasons I can't comprehend. Don't ruin the game for the rest of us just because you got caught. Plenty of times I'm hooked within a minute but can escape with some luck.
-
That means no survivors would be doing gens...
-
I'm sad about this as well. It seems the only way to get the rewards is not only to buy the Pass, but to buy levels as well. I've been grinding away and hardly making progress. The Tier IV set scares me, and the III challenges are the same rewards as 1 but the challenges are harder (of course, we expected that).
The best challenges are the ones that come naturally, like 15 gens, hooks, unhooks, heals, etc. I know people find those tedious but at least they're stable and not up to RNG. I occasionally miss chances because someone else gets the thing I need, and now I have to start all over in another match.
I didn't read about the Archives so I don't know if the lore is going away after, or if we miss our chance, or what, but I adore Claudette and I want to fill that segment and earn all her rewards in the Horror Pass (or whatever it's called, should be scary-themed, right?)
To reiterate, Challenges are Fun! I like having them, and having goals to work toward, and excuses to use perks I don't normally take, but they can also be aggravating and the Fear Of Missing Out a lot of games take advantage of is kind of a cramp in the festivities of... y'know, killing and surviving a nightmare. If that makes sense.
-
All perks are gambles if they're going to come into use or not. NOED is also incredibly strong so long as it isn't cleansed, so it's risk vs. reward.

It still has its old effect but now you can see other people's auras when someone else is on the hook. It's basically old Kindred but better.
Perhaps, but it leaves the other non-Kindred teammates running around (or not) like chickens because they don't know if anyone's going for the save. I honestly think they should make current Kindred 3 basekit for all players, but that's just me.
-
It's your fault for a teammate pulling you off a hook in front of the killer?
-
Okay, so... what should survivors do to deter camping and tunneling? Toxicity* exists on both sides.
*Toxic behavior as defined by the reader
-
There ought to be only one thing: a button that sends the other team "GG!"
You can press the button or hit Leave

I let survivors go all the time because I just don't really care about killing them. I'll get my four stack and then I'll chase them around a bit and just let them all go. I've been playing like that for over a year and never been banned for it. Sometimes I outright farm, sometimes I don't. I meme around a lot and play games where I never even hit or hook any of the survivors.
Every time the issue of farming has been brought up, devs have said they don't encourage it but that's it's only bannable if it's done at the expense of one of the survivors. In other words, if you're farming with three survivors and you force the fourth one to farm with you when they don't want to, then it's bannable. If three survivors work together with the killer to kill the fourth survivor, that's bannable.
I would recommend opening up a support ticket and inquiring into the matter, because any answer that's not from a dev is just hearsay, and devs won't discuss individual bans on the forums.
I play like this too, in that I go easy on the survivors. Sometimes I kill, sometimes I don't. We all have fun, but I don't intentionally farm. If a survivor is in the gate, and I set a trap down, it's up to them if they want to run into it or not. If I show up as Legion and get two DC's in the match, I finish it up and close the hatch. The last guy can go open a gate for all I care. I don't see this as doing anything wrong.
-
The change is decent, but I liked having a perk that helped out the rest of the team (or the entire team, like Ace's Aura Range perk). I'll definitely use the new version since it will go great with a support build, but I'll miss the others getting sudden info when my bacon is on the line =D
-
I agree, I don't mind taking time to work toward something if progress is steady, even if a little slow. The Do Instantly challenges are indeed stressful and don't make me look forward to the future challenges. I really want to unlock the lore and such, I don't want it to be a headache but a fun little reward for some extra goals.

That doesn't need to be on a single medkit. Just look in a chest. Also "find another kit somehow." What? You don't have more than one brown medkit sitting in your inventory? You make it sound like finding a medkit is rare.
Also, I can get two full heals off of a yellow medkit with Botany Knowldge and the brown charges addon. It doesnt need to be top tier anything.
It has to be done in the same match. Also, for the Dark Senses challenge, I thought it was full completion, not just at finish. I've completed the challenge, and am working toward unhooks at the moment.
-
Items from chests can be taken from the match and brought in again with attachments. Also, Ace's perk can attach items from a chest. You're given some random item that could help you in the future, it isn't always going to help you in this match. What if you find a toolbox during endgame? That's not a waste either because you can still use it next time.
-
The problem with outrageous challenges is that we've been asking for lore for years, and the only way to get tiny increments is to complete these insane "do it all in the same trial, good luck!" nightmares that cause you to either hinder your team or otherwise become a disadvantage.
Three complete gens? In one trial, vs. three other gen-hungry people?
Two full heals using medkit? I have to stack top-tier kits and perks just to attempt this, and if I die I have to find another kit somehow. I haven't bothered checking all the killer goals, I can't imagine what a nightmare that's going to be.
I think having challenges is great, but some are more aggravating than they need to be, especially considering you don't have access to all challenges simultaneously. You could be working to progress multiple at a time, then when you've done say 8-10/20 challenges, you unlock the next tier.
-
I already had all the exps once and switched platforms, had to buy them all again plus more this time. I hope they implement this in case I ever go to another.
-
Saving a teammate from a desperate situation and having them escape. It's even better if I get out too!
-
You might want 4k then hook. Bleeding out should grant no points or reward. That seems plenty of time to wait out a DS timer, if any. Should the player have been a poor sport, they might expect the same in return, which seems to be the case in this instance.
-
It would be four minutes, and it's pretty bad behavior. There's absolutely no reason to do such a thing, unless you felt that this guy displayed very poor behavior toward you during the match. It's not bannable, but there's a thing called Fair Play.
-
How ridiculous would it be for a child's doll to be running around? He would have to be Freddy sized (so, still childlike, but bigger) or a full-size giant replica of himself.
-
I was glad for Amanda, as a killer is great (she was) if not as the survivor. Tapp is pretty cool too though, and I love Tenacity.
-
Yeah but think of it this way: it takes a lot to make a good skin and to offer it only temporarily means only a small portion of people will be able to use or even see it. I'm thrilled the old Hallowed Blight skins are still there, because there's some I haven't picked up yet but have had my eye on. If there's even better costumes coming out eventually, I'll certainly want those as well, and if they were locked out of my grasp I would be extremely irritated every time I saw one or thought about missing out.
I know a lot of people like to own limited skins and show them off, especially if it takes dedication to acquire, but the rest of us are really put out by it, and I think overall it's healthier for the game support and player morale to make them more widely available. Full-time players can still earn them for free, so there's that, at least!
-
Why would you want this? People hate exclusives and can't always play during that period, yet may want the outfit too. What's so horrible about letting them buy it? Plus, the devs get more money, which helps to support the game. There is absolutely no reason after Legacy skins to make something exclusive or unobtainable. You can make far more people much happier by granting an alternative means of obtaining them.
-
It looked fun and I would love it to come to console! You know, with plenty of people playing.

He is really underrated. Most survivors (I'm also guilty of this) think of the killer's perspective of the match as a spider web: starting from the center, the closest distances to the gens are outward lines, therefore a killer may come from that direction (the center outward).
However, the stalkers can take advantage of following the map's edge, coming at them from outside where they are not expecting them to be. Who thinks to run into a killer at the edge of a map? They should be patrolling gens. When you're doing a gen, you're not looking at the wall a short distance behind you, right? This allows GF easy stalks and sometimes easy grabs.
Not to mention his unlimited Exposed ability, provided you peek safely from a distance, and peeking makes the meter fill up much faster, in case people didn't realize.
-
We already got Bruce Campbell... How about Amanda Seyfried, with the red coat-cape and Iron Wolf mask from Red Riding Hood?
-
Yeah, I too thought if you were mostly survivor, it encourages you to play killer so there's a balance and the queues are shorter. I get the same thing, killer after killer for me, though I play 90% survivor.

No one said it was illegal, just unsportsmanlike.
I disagree strongly with this sentiment. It's in the very definition of sportsmanship that you give your victory up so another may have it in your stead. If the killer was 'sportsmanlike,' he would have hooked and not slugged. If he did hook, then is he going to complain he got that sacrifice? That's what he wanted, isn't it?
You might say he could have found the 4th while person Struggled, which is entirely true, but you increase that one player's odds of escape by sacrificing yourself. Objectively, a good killer deserves all the kills, but if there was shady behavior involved (and I'm not suggesting there always is) players as a whole like at least one person to escape someone like that.
I feel like you're trying to compare behavior like facecamping and abject tunneling to giving up so just one person gets away, and they are entirely different. It is by no means unfair or unsportsmanlike, since you are within the boundaries of the game, unlike a direct DC just to make it happen faster (and deny points to the killer).
Maybe people will argue that all behavior is within the confines, and to an extent I agree, but the desire for a teammate to achieve victory, and the act upon that desire, is not cheating the killer out of anything. If he wants 4k, he has to find player/hatch first.

Aside from Demo, old Wraith animation where he slid the spine along his arm like Trapper. It was as if you could hear the vertebrae grinding along, it was neat.
