Why not just make it a hat if that's the case?
I think those of us waiting for it would really prefer the hood, since it suits her. I don't want just bunny ears, although I'd still take them. They might have to completely redesign the way the clothing system/outfits work in order to do a lot more things they probably want, and it won't be easy. I'm still holding out hope, though!
-
Bunny Min! But the devs said the way hoods work in regards to top item/chest item it is very very difficult to do, since it would have to work no matter what jacket or shirt you equipped.
-
It happens at any rank, seemingly more so at red since they're trying harder to win (though against these people, myself included, the effort really is not necessary). Maybe R1 God Survivors are a tough win, but the rest of us...
-
You can use BPS? Every time I use one (or see one in lobby) the killer DC's and we get nothing. Note that this also destroys the offering.
-
Those killers already have Oblivious. I was rescued yesterday by a teammate using Borrowed Time against a Ghost Face. Due to the buggy vision mechanics, I could not break his cloak even by staring at him, and in the end he was chasing but didn't hit me. I flopped to the ground and realized I had no time to Mend Wounds while being chased, and apparently it was ticking down once he used his power to remove TR.

It's the gaming community today. They're all like this. Way back when people were genuinely out for a good time, trying their best, and congratulating the victor. Now, everyone is entitled and immature, unable to understand that games are for fun and while you want to win, respect is always something you should lead with.
-
A lot of people would rather keep the gore to a minimum, so it's more appropriate for a wider audience. There really isn't a need for it, to be honest. I think the finger is only there because of the significance and also a new addition to his collection. Demogorgon is only a beast who eats people.
-
It can still be buggy. He's able to stalk you in the open while you're staring at him and there's nothing you can do about it, like Myers saving up a T3 until just before he reaches you. Position him right in the center and you still don't even get the sound cue of his Shroud revealing.
-
Third Seal is useful vs solos who can't find the totem. Also, perks can change. You might as well get it and wait for it to become something better.
-
Happens to me. Some disconnects, and a lot of times when I leave the score screen, it crashes back to the main menu rather than the Survivor lobby
-
Happened to me too, I submit a screenshot to the Bug forum.
-
I had a demo 3-gen the last survivors in the new map, and he had two portals together in one room. No one could cleanse one fast enough and he always came back to put more.
-
Does Object only reveal your aura if the killer's revealed to you?
-
Rank has no bearing on Bloodpoints. You can go a little easy on the newcomers and still get some. In fact, killers make more than survivors.
-
Seems like nobody's played Wraith in a while, so no one runs up against good ones. They can destroy a team of decent players.
-
There's two decent pallets on that map and the rest delay your death by mere seconds.

"I rule over the infinite realms of the impossible! Now stop running in circles!'
*Cue Benny Hill theme*

I've been getting this error joining games tonight. It gives me two errors in a row, but then the Cancel button is greyed out and I can't stop searching for a game, yet it will never connect to one at that point. I have to close the game and restart.

There are a lot of fine points on this thread, and I'd like to chime in on just a couple of my own. I also think this is a casual game at heart, and the players just went hardcore with it, which is bad for the more casual-type players but great for those who think and play like they do. Also, the bigger portion of the player base needs to have a good time (win or lose) in order to keep the game going. And I respect that it has become a "Me vs. The Killer" deathmatch in seeing how long you can last, since technically the killer cannot chase two separate survivors at once, therefore a chase really is between skill, killer abilities, resources, etc. I know many people have gotten terribly bored with gens and look forward to being chased, and that's what keeps them going. I don't want to take that away from them.
I don't know how the game would change in order to incorporate this idea, but I wish stealth had a bigger impact on the game, maybe balanced by the terrible drawback of being caught. For decades I've wanted a game based on a certain scene in an action movie (won't say which ~_~) but maybe DbD could incorporate this, and it works better since the killer is in first-person while survivors are in third. I'm thinking along the lines of some perks or perhaps a character archetype that allows survivors to hide easier than others, balanced by putting them in big trouble if they were found out. Maybe this class has only one health state, so they rely on avoiding killer's attention in order to survive. There's a lot of options and ideas here I don't want to take up this thread with, but at the same time I don't want to give people reasons NOT to expose themselves and go make saves, because it really sucks hanging from a hook with no one coming to get you.
At the beginning, I relied on stealth and many things since then have just made all forms of stealth less and less viable, meaning I get into chases much more often and that is not my strong suit. Since I don't want to be forced into meta perks I get caught and die easily, but that's my choice not to use them. I just feel that the game is at its best and most tense when it's more horror-aligned, rather than a party free-for-all with survivors running all around the killer as if it's a game of tag. They should be scrambling for their lives in terror! Well, I know most players don't think of it like that anymore, but it was thrilling when you first started, wasn't it? Can we get mechanics to take it back there again? Ugh, apologies for the wall of text. I get passionate about the things I love.

Barbara Gordon next survivor confirmed? (Obviously pre-accident)

I just don't respect them at all, even in Frenzy.
Same here; I run straight into every single one no matter who I'm playing. I take hits often, but sometimes the lunge wins and they go down. Also, no more pallet for others. One guy might break them all and then the team is boned in terms of survival.
-
Slippery Meat is because the Survivors are greasy with filth.
-
With Nancy's new walk faster perk, a lot of people want to try pairing it with Sprint Burst (I do, just haven't unlocked it yet). Maybe it's supposed to help counter all the people doing that.
-
It's not supposed to, but I wish it was a constant effect when facing the Demogorgon; as if you had been brought into the Upside Down to face him!
-
Yeah I also believe it's a sound issue, sometimes a certain gen here or there will be quiet while I repair, but if I pan the camera to the killer or someone gets hooked, the volume shoots up to normal.
-
In the Bethesda universe, children are invincible. You want that kind of power in the Entity's realm?!
-
There's a bug where you get the particles all the time, so I had them while running around the new map. You absolutely can hear his footsteps more than other killers, though maybe it's the different music. It's easy to hear him thudding behind you, and scary too. A monster chasing you and slinking over the vaults feels more like horror than any human-based killer, those are slasher movies or thrillers. I guess Nurse & Spirit would, though...
-
Yeah, it's great. Now I have to explain why I'm high rank/P3 Feng yet get chased like an overcooked potato. ~_^
-
You hear the music first, and so you start running in panic, and then this loud thudding grows louder as it comes after you. It's great.
Paired with the new map and all the particles everywhere, playing against Demo is like being in a horror movie.
-
Same problems for me, yes. The flashing is weird. First game tonight it went loading out forever. Often, after I Continue after a match, I disconnect back to the lobby or to the character screen with an error message. Good thing I still have my points.
The worst was when I was doing well in a match and the system crashed to a blue screen and kicked me back to the desktop. The game shut down entirely and I had to restart it.
-
I like the large maps because otherwise you hear the heartbeat the whole time, especially on vertical maps, and running from the killer just brings them to teammates working on gens or trying to heal. Smaller maps would increase killers' power but hit survivors harder, especially if they aren't professional players.
-
Why doesn't The Entity protect the Hexes somehow? You'd have to fight it off, or perhaps trade the cleansing for a health level.
-
Why... why would this matter? O_o I'm about to start playing Meg a lot more and now I'm worried!
-
I only tried one game as killer, Demo. I could rarely land a Shred, but I'm also not used to it yet. My Shreds were getting dodged so easily, even when it it looked like my arms physically made contact with their model, but again that could just be inexperience.
-
That's an off-game for sure, but as a survivor I have that too, on the other end. A killer (especially during Rank Reset) dominates us so hard that no gen is done and we all get killed out with 3k~ pts. It happens sometimes, and you just gotta move on and try again. While certain perks will help, depending on your playstyle and strategy, sometimes it matters if you hook someone early, as it can snowball into constantly keeping them rescuing teammates, preferably without camping.
-
I let the last girl go through Hatch and still got the Adept; can confirm this does work and yes it was low ranks, so there were plenty of chasing/hooking/destroying in the match.
-
Those you mentioned are alternate outfits you buy separately, and Demo has no exclusive with the chapter. Both Steve and Nancy have tears in their respective sweaters, from braving the dangers of the Upside Down.
-
Update: I played a match and went back to Dailies, only to find that new one had disappeared and been replaced with another one I don't want.
-
It happened to me today with the patch. Strangely, I deleted one I didn't like and got the one I was working on, minus all of my progress.
-
Whenever someone advocates Bunny Min, I am there. Check my profile!
-
Yeah I got my P3 chars with a single item left.. sadly, I spend my savings earning the other teachables I didn't have, so now I have nothing to train Nancy with! o_o
-
Tim Curry as a survivor! And the Killer could be the devil from Legend, who is also Tim Curry.
-
They get angry no matter what. I managed to evade someone for about thirty seconds and they stood there at hook hitting me over and over. I never crouch and while it's rare I attempt a flashlight save I've never succeeded with the new system. I usually get the blind but they never drop.
-
The upside is an icon now shows up for the person if you have the perk. It lets them know "Hey, I can heal you up real quick." Back in the day we just chased them, chanting the name to ourselves to stave off frustration.
-
I personally like the collapse. It's really dramatic, like a dire situation in which the world is collapsing around you, making the final moments a desperate escape. The remaining survivors must scramble to get out, saving who they can or leaving them on a hook.
It's also really important because otherwise the game could drag on. For some reason survivors like to make the killer DC and will do so by just hiding at the end. Lately, there seems to be a new fad where a team will join into a game and see how long they can last hiding and circling the map to avoid crows. I don't understand this. It's a waste of time and really frustrating for the killer. So not only is the EGC important, but there needs to be a timer or some other method in which the killer can choose to start the collapse under other conditions to prevent an entire team of survivors from taking the game hostage.
-
Contribute to all 5 gens... time for Sprint Burst?
-
There needs to be some anti-tunneling protection on this game. And as far as killers go, they can't all compete with the top tier. They're very strong and the devs have stated that they won't make killers that strong anymore, otherwise each killer would constantly have to be buffed to bring them up, making an endless cycle of increasingly stronger killers. Doing so would only hurt a vast portion of the playerbase who aren't at the top rank anyway. I mean skill-wise, not game wise. Even I get R1 survivor if I play enough before the reset.
-
Totems are the bonus. It's supposed to help you against Killer items, namely Trapper's traps and Hag Hexes or whatever those are. With a new killer able to put items down, it's only fair it include those as well. They can only be seen when asleep, which gives him your location at all times, so people who aren't looping gods are encouraged to wake up as soon as possible.

Haha actually I just have my Dwight with the Christmas sweater and grey army pants while his face is all bloody. Throws off the mood of the whole game lmao.
Dwight shouldn't be bloody! You leave him alone!
