Demogorgon

Without even going into his gameplay, aesthetically, this killer is incredible. From the sounds of his footsteps to the wet noises from his mouth. This is a really nice addition to the killer roster.

You can definitely hear the footsteps if close enough

The music starts when you are chased, so if you are running and the killer sees you

  • You hear the music first, and so you start running in panic, and then this loud thudding grows louder as it comes after you. It's great.

Paired with the new map and all the particles everywhere, playing against Demo is like being in a horror movie.

  • As a killer, the footsteps are pretty loud and annoying. Even with that, he is still a great addition to the mix.

Yeah had the same experience, he is so loud i couldn't really hear injured survivor, thats pretty annoying.

I think this new noises need to be adjusted a bit, cause now they are much too loud and confusing.

  • I've been lagging pretty bad on ps4 which sucks. Was fine before this chapter so I'm hoping the hotfix might address whatever is causing it.

Same, was dropping frames like crazy on Xbox as Demo. Woke up today though and everything seemed fine.

No, not any more than any other killer.

The particles are when interacting with his nydus canals.

The map is a map, not the killer.

Both of those points dont support the argument that the demo feels more like a horror movie than any other. Especially since it's one its the LEAST horror based IPs.

  • There's a bug where you get the particles all the time, so I had them while running around the new map. You absolutely can hear his footsteps more than other killers, though maybe it's the different music. It's easy to hear him thudding behind you, and scary too. A monster chasing you and slinking over the vaults feels more like horror than any human-based killer, those are slasher movies or thrillers. I guess Nurse & Spirit would, though...
