I am not sure if it's correct but it seems cross examination is getting changed to only activate while not in chase. Now, before people break out the pitch forks, I am not saying the perk is not strong. I am not saying it is perfect the way it is or that it couldn't use a tweak. Got wrecked by a very skilled, super sweaty Nurse. It was probably the most fun I have had in this game in weeks. I know that Hex Perks are a bit more popular since Jason got into the game but aside from him (who can camp them forever/please change that) they still have the downside that they can get destroyed without even a second of usefulness if you don't bring a whole build dedicated to protect them just because a survivor spawns right next to it. Since The Life Road chapter (and probably before) I've noticed that if you go tonselect a banner, and click off unlocked banners only, you will see quite a few banners thst have no way to be obtained - yet. As a killer main with 3.5 k hours I always thought survivors were just entitled cry babies when they lost and having recently played survivor since Stranger things chapter I've been slugged and left to die, tunneled out first, left to die on first hook and camped etc. I think I only escape one in every four or five matches. I've noticed that all of the new killers being released are following a certain trend and it's powercreeping most of the older killers out of being effective. Namely that their kit consists of whatever gimic power they get plus traversal. They are only adding modding so the community can fix the game’s problems for them, meaning the developers will not have to do the work themselves. They are also adding modding so fans can create a proper tutorial for the game. You have more time for your team to save you. You dont activate the killers strongest perk. You cant get tunneled. You can move to a better spot to be saved. Your saved faster if fully recovered. You dont give the killer a sound notification. You dont gain hook states. You know when the Player is good and sometimes it doesn't even matter if they are a Low tier Killer. The Pressure is constant. They hook one person and by the time that person is unhooked and healing the next person is downed and the whole match basically procceds this way. Can I just talk about something that confuses me? Killer balance. The devs have said the intended kill rate is around 60%. According to Bhvr’s stats, the only balanced killers are: Krasue, Vecna, Henry, Twins, Freddy, Sadako, Kaneki, Pinhead and Dredge. And that doesn’t work.
