    Top Right Square (O1).

Free Space was changed to "Houndmaster's Dog Still Bugged/Glitched".

Also they turned Go Next Punishment back on, or as we like to say, "Got tunneled? Here's a ban"

Doubling-down on a universally hated system is peak BHVR (get it).

Imagine you die because of one of the many game-breaking issues this patch and the game just hands you a Grade Reduction and DC Penalty for something out of your control.

I have no idea why they would turn it back on.

  • I set my free space to "gamebreaking or balancebreaking issue does not get Killswitched". Last Stand already gave me that.

  • Idk about everyone else but I did have Doomposting on my Update Bingo Card.

I thought the stun only happens if the survivor vaults towards the killer? How is the killer supposed to eat the stun, if the survivors are purposely only vaulting away from the killer?

The 2.5 meter radius is large enough for you to get stunned even if they are vaulting away from you. But you need to be right against the window vault location (does not work at pallets, only works at window vaults).

Umm it sounds like a bug to us.

    Can anyone else confirm?

It was bugged on the PTB and never got fixed going into the Live Servers, can confirm based on what Ive seen.

Fortunately, since it's a once per trial perk, you can eat the stun and disable it for the whole match. Obviously it isnt the best solution ever, but BHVR is not going to Killswitch the perk, they rarely use the Killswitch and it's a new perk release so they just arent going to.

While technically not a plant, we do have fungus, unless you want to count the bark-like skin the fungus is on (since it would be more like vines or tree bark, which does involve plants). Skin is for Dredge. Mycelium Nightmare, Deep Rift Level 3.

    Screenshot From 2025-07-29 13-58-56.png

This is more plant like, based on the forest deity Leshi. Their skin is based of bark and moss. Skin is for Artist. The Leshen, collaboration skin with The Witcher.

    Screenshot From 2025-07-29 14-01-17.png

The Hag…. that's it… that's all I have to say. They have the most plant-like skins in the game. Skin is for Hag (as I just mentioned). Fetid Bloom, it's in the store.

  • I feel like Franklin's Demise should have just made it so it automatically expended the item's charge and put it on cooldown, but Idk what it is like on the game's back-end, it might not be possible for them.

The new quest system needed a tutorial…? For what?

It teaches players to engage with mechanics that they did not engage with.

According to BHVR, nearly 50% of all players did not engage with the perk system because the did not know about it (obvious the bulk of that being new players), MANY of the quests forces players to engage with the perk system to complete them.

There are quests to engage in other areas of the game, such as cosmetics, character selection, the shop, etc.

  • Sheer luck or farming it with Survivors.

The achievement is really poorly designed, and you will most likely never get it under normal circumstances.

  • @Mandy said:

There's no plans to do this, we're quite vocal about how we will not add Voice Chat to DbD not even in modes.

    Not even Proximity Chat?

I feel like Proximity Chat would add to the experience since youd have to pass messages along between teammates, which would fit into the horror themes of the game.

  • Youll see people use Fog Vials because they are the newest thing but people will probably swap back to the stronger items like Medkits or Toolboxes after a few weeks. It's like a pair of keys jingling in front of them, but once that shine runs out and the rust starts to form, people move back to what they know.

None of this is to say that Fog Vials are weak, but moreso that the state of Medkits and Toolboxes is stronger (and are meta).

I think what OP is asking, my friend, is why Skull Merchant 2.0 was never properly adjusted.

Why it went from the rework to remove the 3 gen thing straight to massive gutting instead of balance changes like most killers get.

Ah. Apologies. But I think for similar reasons to what I mentioned, no attempts to balance her reworked design was solely because of potentially community backlash.

    • Nobody likes original Skull Merchant because they were boring and stalled games out.
    • Nobody liked the reworked design because it was deemed "too annoying" to play against.
    • Nobody liked the rework concept because it was deemed "too far from the original design" for people to enjoy.

BHVR is put between a rock and a hard place.

Even if they reworked or buffed Skull Merchant it would not matter because people would hate their design solely as a result of negativity bias (not to say that all complaints are not unwarranted, but negativity bias is where a lot of their hate comes from, keep in mind this is coming from someone who hates Skull Merchant). The 3-Gen Skull Merchant Era has permanently tainted their reception and it will be held over their head for a really long time.

I do hope Skull Merchant does get buffed/reworked or something, as it stands they are the worst Killer in the game, their power is functionally awful and it hardly works half the time because her power has been bugged for literal years and has not been fixed.

  • They posted a rework concept. People responded to the rework concept, and it got scrapped.

To put it bluntly BHVR are still working on a rework but it's really hard for them when every iteration people hate and they have to return back to the drawing board.

  • My stance on Vigil has not changed at all since I made my last post on it, and people did not like my opinion in the slightest but oh well.

The biggest issue is not entirely Vigil but moreso the fact that Exhaustion timers on some perks make them too easy to activate.

Sprint Burst and Lithe have been the meta for Exhaustion perks for an insanely long time and they both have a 40-second Exhaustion timer, they share this timer with perks like Balanced Landing and Dramaturgy which have far more risk/reward with their activation condition. If BHVR wants to promote more build diversity and create a more healthy environment for the game, Sprint Burst and Lithe should be a 80/70/60 Exhaustion timer, not a 60/50/40 Exhaustion timer.

The only issue I have with Vigil is that it affects Hindered, which directly nerfs/counters a lot of Killer powers and add-ons. Clown, Freddy, Skull Merchant, etc, are all made far worse by Vigil while at the same time not being top-tier Killers either. I think the Hindered part of Vigil should be removed as a result, but that's it. (Keep in mind that Exposed powers are unaffected since they tend to Expose a Survivor through an abnormal status affected, e.g. Tier 3 Myers, Ghostface's Marked, etc.)

Stacking Vigil Im a bit iffy on, I still have yet to really gather my thoughts on it, so Im not going to bother throwing my hat in the ring on that.

why? what would it accomplish? 1v1 doesn't prove anything balance wise and you can do it in custom so why add an entirely separate mode?

i'm not trying to put you down or anything it's questions that need to be asked since it's in the game already

1v1s could be a good way for new players to practice the game.

You get some experience as Survivor and some experience as Killer, both roles. With a heavy emphasis on chase times, you ignore objectives entirely and just focus on lasting as long as you can within a chase.

    Honestly, I like the idea.

Thats really weird. Did you use bulk spending or not? I leveled a lot of characters (around 30 mio bp) and bulk spending always gave me 40-50 cakes per prestige for killer, 25-40 for survivor. (Noone was P100)

Would be really unfair if the rate is different for some.

    I used Bulk Spending.

  • @MarbleThrone said:

Was this on a P100 character?

There is no way that 10 million points (if we consider a single prestige through the bulk-spend system to be roughly around a million) got you only 49 cakes. Or you got really, really unlucky here.

I got a total of 6 prestiges on Orela and ended up with 175 cakes.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/PSIZ6RUZ77RG/20250713203132-1.jpg

And on Nic Cage, Alan Wake and Lara Croft, who were all P37 and a bit, I got 10+ cakes on each in a single prestige (37 → 38). All through the bulk-spend system.

On my actual P100s (Artist, Claudette and Jonah), I got close to 200 cakes on each (193, 2 x 183 respectively, give or take). And I for sure spent less than 10 million on each of them. I don't remember the exact amounts, though. My hoards this year are nowhere near what they were last few Masquerades, but that is mostly because I played much less than usual, having my attention divided between DBD and another game.

Genuinely even on my main Killer, which I dumped far more Bloodpoints into for the event, I still got far less compared to last year.

Demogorgon's Prestige went from 21 to 38 (17 Prestige Levels) and I only have around 251 Coconut Scream Pie from it.

Meanwhile Prestige 6 to 18 (12 Prestige Levels) from last year netted me 525 Terrormisu.

I'm sorry, "for the sake of interesting gameplay?" What gameplay? The four minutes of gameplay you get before gens finish if you run zero slowdown?

    You missed the point completely.

Im not saying to run trash perks. Im not saying to run meme builds. Im saying you can use (but are not forced to use) perks that are not meta but are still good and viable, reasonably you should not feel the negative impact of running them.

  • @Rapid99 said:

This post just screams of "I just watched the most recent Scott Jund video"

    I havent.

I had a match against an Onyro that was complaining about losing with 4 slowdowns because they couldnt get downs to turn that slowdown into anything meaningful. I wanted to talk about the topic because of that match.

But I guess I cant talk about a subject if some content creator that I dont care about happens to have covered it because it automatically means that I cannot talk about it.

  • @ChuckingWong said:

Running 4 slowdowns on nurse or blight is definetely not meta.

I dont even know what the build would look like but it would be horrific having 0 aura read on both of those killers.

Where are you getting this idea that anyone even runs 4 slowdowns as a perk load out?

Running 4 slowdown perks on Nurse or Blight is definitely not meta.

Pop Goes The Weasel, Eruption (information + slowdown), and SH: Pain Resonance are the best perks to run on Blight and Nurse, they have the mobility to make amazing use of the perks and the information and slowdown from Eruption is actually insane when you consider how quickly your chases are and how easy it is to hold a tight Generator spread.

Personally, never needed to run Aura Reading on Blight or Nurse, their chase powers are insane and I dont really lose matches with the lack of Aura Reading. General game sense and knowing how to use the Killer's power goes a long way.

Where are you get this idea that anyone even runs 4 slowdowns as a perk loadout?

    Maybe from my matches?

    Maybe from social media?

Maybe from the infinite well of content creators that only use slowdown perks in their videos and streams?

I wouldnt be talking about it unless people were doing it.

When are you blinding the Killer?

When they pick up or at a pallet. It's fine at a pallet, but it's significantly more of an issue during pickup, where it does stun the Killer. The Killer cannot dodge a blind during pickup or while breaking a pallet. That's the fundamental issue, if you stun the Killer with a pallet or into a drop, you can stun them again with a blind. That's not really fair.

Again, blinding the Killer with a Flashlight IS NOT A STUN. I dont know how many times I have to repeat this since mechanically a STUN and a BLIND are two different things.

    • A Flashbang in an FPS game is a BLIND, it restricts vision through blinding them and prevents a player from readily being able to shoot as an opponent, movement and turning is not altered.
    • A Concussion Grenade in an FPS game is a STUN, it restricts movement and your ability to turn/look around, but you can still see what is happening in front of you.
    • In DBD, BLINDING the Killer is not a STUN. Decisive Strike is a STUN. Dropping a Pallet is a STUN. Head On is a STUN. Flightlight Blinds are a BLIND. THEY ARE MECHANICALLY TWO DIFFERENT THINGS, A BLIND IS NOT A STUN, A STUN IS NOT A BLIND.

Also again, most people do not have an issue with this mechanic. It quite literally poses no issue. You can look down, look away, and use MANY perks to counter it (Fire Up, Brutal Strength, THWACK!, Lightborn, Shadowborn, Hex: Two Can Play just to name a few). NEVER have I had a game where being chain-blinded "ruined" or affected the outcome of the match, nor has it ever posed an issue or been problematic.

Funniest part is that if a Survivor were to just time their blind, they can get the same results as chain-blinding in those cases, which quite literally means removing it accomplishes nothing since Killer can still get blinded at the end of interactions anyways. This entire discussion is effectively pointless since the thing you are complaining about can be accomplished without chain-blinding to begin with, it's just complaining about things for the sake of complaining.

All chain-blinding is, on a fundamental level, is the DBD equivalent of a party trick, it does not accomplish anything meaningful, and maybe you get a bit more Bloodpoints, but that's it.

  • @LockerLurk said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3965044#Comment_3965044

Yes but you shouldn't need to bring a perk to deal with something this easy to have happen. if I'm chain blinded it's usually from a stun into blind, or a blind as I break a pallet and then blinded again when I look up so I have no chance to avoid it, as I'm animation locked. I think OP wants THAT kind of chain blinding or chain stunning gone, and I agree with it. Survivors can't be stunned twice in succession, why is it okay for Killers to be double stunned like this?

It's also as Reinami points out, an accessibility issue.

Why is it okay for Killer to be double stunned like this?

Because being blinded with a Flashlight is not a stun. You can still move, you can still perform (most) actions. All it does it prevent your ability to see.

Keep in mind that a perk like Hex: Two Can Play CAN do the same to Survivors, since you can double blind Survivors with the perk, and if the argument is "why do you have to bring a perk to double blind Survivors", Survivors have to bring items or perks to even blind to begin with (or invest time to get it out of a chest), let alone double blind… because that's how the game functions.

Flashlights are already the worst item in the game, with Medkits and Toolboxes being significantly stronger, I dont think Flashlights need to be nerfed or changed anymore than they already have, it serves to make builds less diverse and punish creativity.

  • It was annoying on Chucky but it was balanced out by the fact that Chucky quite literally had very little map mobility compared to other highly mobile Killers. Chucky could consistently get downs, but just lacks the map pressure and mobility to turn those downs into anything really meaningful.

Ghoul just has a better version of it on top of having insane map mobility and pressure, Idk why BHVR thought it was good design either. It feels like Ghoul puts me in far more lose/lose situations where I cannot do anything and I just go down without counterplay.

To put it bluntly, pointing out that you cannot form an opinion or thought without having to rely on AI is not "entitlement", it's pointing out how your ideas are fundamentally weak and not even formed from your own ideas.

Your comment was a weak foundation for an argument because it lacks nuances, data/information, rhetoric, and/or anecdote, which are all important factors that contribute to an ACTUAL argument.

  • @SpringMyTrap said:

isnt this the killer who is loopable? even with scamper you still just play 50s because it isnt fast enough if you loop tightly.

ah, so cathartic to watch all kinds of players mald about a killer they cant shift+w against and have to loop after years of complaining about antiloop killers you have to shift+w.

Nah, I just specifically hate Kaneki's vault-grab at Windows and Pallets since 95% you just get hit and there is no recourse for counterplay.

Obviously at short-loops and unsafe structures, it's not as strong… but like… those structures are weak… and youll probably just get hit anyways. At long-loops and safe structures, it just leads to hits since your movement gets restricted or entirely stopped and they go over the Pallet/Window fast enough to where you cannot make enough distance to make it around the loop/structure or to another loop/structure.

To me at least, it does not feel fun to play against. It's like Chucky holding Scamper to just vault the Pallet you dropped, which eventually got removed. Only difference here is that Chucky was balanced by the lack of mobility… Kaneki has mobility.

  • Im glad that they did not go with the generic expectations for an Add-on Rework and decided to do a lot of unique and fun Add-ons that cater to a variety of playstyles. A massive step up compared to what we had before since it encourage more diverse Add-on choices beyond just Double Range.

No one is asking for limitations, people want bad awful ping to not get rewarded with BS hits.

They simply should not be able to play PVP games. If they cannot consistently get a steady ping they do not deserve to be playing something online with other people that require tighter internet connection.

No PVP game should allow people to play matches at 700ms ping lmao.

Why doesnt BHVR implement ping limits?

Here. Also many other people asking for Ping/Latency Limitations, but just a few examples, since people are very much asking for Ping/Latency Limits.

People want bad awful ping to not get rewarded with BS hits.

THAT'S WHAT I HAVE BEEN SAYING THIS ENTIRE TIME. Improving the Netcode SHOULD create situations where low Ping/Latency players do not get hit by something that is unfair.

    Screenshot From 2025-07-05 21-26-37.png

I literally even say it here. "The netcode accepts too much information without proper verification" and "it should at least feel fair for me if I have a more stable internet connect".

If someones ping is actively causing people to have a less enjoyable time in the game, they simply should not be able to play PVP games. If they cannot consistently get a steady ping they do not deserve to be playing something online with other people that require tighter internet connection.

It's so funny how you managed to completely ignore half the points I made.

As I said before, DBD has matchmaking and server issues. We've had these issues for a long time. I am constantly sent to out-of-region servers which I am given high Ping/Latency because the game's matchmaking and servers do not function properly; and players I put against also have this issue.

Let's say I play a match, I get sent to an out-of-region server and have 300-400 ms. Ping/Latency Limits kicks in and I get kicked from the match and get hit with a matchmaking penalty. Suddenly me, a player with a stable internet connect, is being punished by a system because it's a short-sided bandaid fix that fundamentally serves to not fix anything with DBD's issues (and in fact make things worse).

Congratulations, the anti-"Go Next" system 2.0, players get punished by things out of their control. :/

I disagree with that, every single person I see abusing ping could play on servers closer to them, they just CHOOSE to play on servers where they have obscene ping as that gives them an unfair advantage. It is essentially exploiting imo

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3957616#Comment_3957616

You would not mind facing someone with 700ms ping?!!! I don't even know if we can have any meaningful discussion if you consider 700ms ping is in any way acceptable in any online game other than PVE

Edit to add: people voting me down for my OP saying 700+ ms ping is ridiculous and should not happen?! I guess some people love going against killers with such high ping they hit you out of nowhere and it is literally unplayable? SMH…

I strongly oppose Ping/Latency Limits because of how they affect some people. Not everyone has a stable internet connection, youll see some people have 30-70 ms for the entire match but spike up to high ms for a few seconds only to go back to 30-70 ms; players in that case would get kicked because of Ping/Latency Limits because they cross the threshold.

Often at times, you dont even have control over your Ping/Latency. DBD has had persistent issues where players are put into matchmaking regions outside of their own region, resulting in them naturally having higher Ping/Latency.

Generally speaking, with how the game is at the moment, I think it would be a horrible idea to implement Ping/Latency Limits, and even still, I would still be opposed since it is up to the developers to provide good enough Netcode to properly handle situations where players are lagging.

I dont even know if we can have any meaningful discussion if you consider 700 ms is in any way acceptable in any online game other than PVE.

Probably because I moreso disagree with the prospect of Ping/Latency Limits because I dont think they would fit DBD with how their matchmaking and servers work at the moment.

It's not disingenuous either, Im providing my opinions based on what Ive seen with DBD and other games, Ive seen Ping/Latency Limits fail time and time again. Improving the Netcode should be a higher priority in my opinion.

Guess some people love going against Killers with such high ms that they hit you out of nowhere and it's literally unplayable.

As I mentioned in my original comment, the way the game currently is does not feel fair for people with low Ping/Latency, I hate facing off against high Ping/Latency players.

My issue is when you go out of your way to punish people or make their product outright unplayable for them based on conditions that they might have little/no control over; or just punishing players based on matchmaking and server issues.

BHVR should take the time to actually improve the Netcode to make it fair for low Ping/Latency players, since it directly addresses the issue as opposed to just applying a bandaid over it and kicking it under the rug.

  • I dont think the issue is someone's ping but moreso the fact that the netcode accepts too much information without proper verification. I personally would not mind facing off against someone with 700+ ms, but it should at least feel fair for me if I have a more stable internet connection, it currently does not feel fair with how things currently are tho.

It's suppose to be all 4 together every time unless they bring an offering. If you only see 3 spawning together and no offering was used... something got messed up.

Ive been getting 4-together, 1-separate + 3-together, and 2-separate + 2-together. Ive never had an instance where all 4 are separate though. On average though, Im getting a tighter spawn density for Survivors compared to before.

Yeah it sucks. I have gotten tunneled multiple times and i mean 5 gen tunneled multiple times. Yeah it sucks that we mostly see that build you meantioned on the killers, but it is the strongest gen defense build there is, cant blame them for using it.

Mostly my biggest issue is the 5 gen tunneling. I don't mind dying in a game if i get to play the game but im not sure if we have newer players or whats going on.

An event should not be "sided" to begin with tho. :/

Like I get it, some of them have been Survivor-sided, but I dont really see that as a valid excuse, instead events should be pushed to be fun AND fair for both sides.

  • Killers tunnel because Generators go fast ⇒ Survivors do Generators because they dont have time to do anything else ⇒ Killers tunnel because Generators go fast ⇒ Survivors do Generators because they dont have time to do anything else ⇒ Repeat.

Which came first here though, the Chicken or the Egg, the Survivors or the Killer? No answer is inherently wrong.

This has been a persistent issue for a long time, DBD has become more and more punishing if players (both sides) do not play efficiently, do whenever a sides does play efficiently, it makes the opposing side more difficult and their response is to play efficiently thus making it worse for the next people they play against, eventually it reaching a boiling point before it cools down for a moment.

  • The only time I see people who "change" how they play DBD Events are people who intentionally go out of their way to make the game miserable for others. Like bleeding people out or intentionally playing to make Killers upset, etc.

Even still, give it a 2-3 days and they will move on, they always do.

  • Play With Your Food is an oddity of a perk solely from the fact that the Haste value (15%) is insane for chases but the investment required for that Haste is what prevents the perk from being insanely oppressive.

I remember back when Play With Your Food did not have cooldown. A Killer like Wraith could cloak and uncloak to instantly get their Tokens maxed out, effectively giving them perma 15% Haste the entire match. So the cooldown on the perk is 100% required.

Well, if you try to increase the Haste effect on Play With Your Food, youd have to increase the Haste per Token (and potentially remove tokens) but it serves to either:

    1. You increase the Haste; The maximum amount of Haste becomes too much at 3 Tokens.
    2. You decrease the amount of Tokens to compensate; The time investment needed to get the maximum amount of Haste is too little and the perk become too oppressive.

As it stands, I think Play With Your Food is a fine perk. It's not bad, but it is not amazing either. But I really dont think there is much BHVR can really do to change it without a complete rework which would unfortunately kill the perk's entire identity in the process.

  • Ive heard people say "well you can just farm to get the achievement" as if it justifies how stupid it is to get.

If an achievement requires you to actively work with your opponent to farm out because it would otherwise take too long or outright not be obtainable otherwise, then I think the achievement should be reworked or changed. DBD already has too many achievements like this.

  • So what it is that is making this killer get 3-4k every game with 3-5 gens remaining? Am I so out of touch that I can't tell what's op at this point? Are survivors just not playing correctly rn? What do you guys have to say about it?

    Bugs.

Springtrap has a lot of bugs and glitches that actively benefit the Killer or are actively detrimental to the Survivors. The Killer itself is fine, but these bugs singlehandedly make the Killer insanely frustrating to play against, especially when people go out of their way to use perk builds that exploits these bugs to gain an advantage.

  • @I_CAME said:

It already got leaked. There's a post on reddit and it hasn't been taken down yet. Devs even posted in the thread. It seems pretty bad from a survivor standpoint. Killers are getting remote hook, remote pallet break, and reduced stun. I am not going anywhere near the event queue except to do challenges.

I think BHVR are strictly against leaks when it would kill hype for a Chapter or directly affect profits/monetization, which for a company makes sense. I know that the Forums has rules against posting leaks but the event is literally tomorrow anyways.

I know Wraith has been confirmed to be getting a skin for the event, BHVR has teased it through promotional images, that's about as far as my knowledge for the event goes.

But at the same time, the game goes to great lengths to make it known that these characters, while similar, exist as different beings; which was a response to players originally getting confused and thinking that the characters are the same.

Also, Vigo survived the deepest levels of the Void. But it is never stated that Blight was put in the Void by the Entity itself, so it is possible that they only ventured there intentionally to get chemicals from things within the Void (since Blight is an alchemist). My theory is that Blight went into the Void because Vigo's Journal outlines it.

Eventually, Blight's Serums work against them and they eventually become a Killer. Blight is disrespected and mocked by the Entity (referenced in Iridescent Blight Tag), burning Vigo's Journal as an add-on (since add-ons and offerings are thrown into the campfire canonically) is like throwing away the key when locking someone in a cage, it makes sure that Blight can never escape since Blight NEEDED Vigo to escape.

  • From my understanding, Vigo is one of the few people who actually managed to leave the Entity's realm altogether. Outside of that, there is not much known about them outside of their influence on the Entity's realm, they created the Hatch and many other items, but there is not too much we know outside of that. Vigo's methods of escaping the Entity are also unknown.

The DBD Wiki has a lot of information on this stuff, which includes old Tome entries, flavor text, and more which talks about Vigo.

Here is a good place to look for more information: https://deadbydaylight.wiki.gg/wiki/Vigo

lol no, Springtrap like huntres but have 1 hatch and after m2 its just m1 killer with no power, and in same time he give mobilite for survivors

You both completely missed the point of the post.

I have no issue with the power itself. I am saying that the Killer is extremely bugged, and these bugs should be fixed since as it stands it makes this Killer really awful to face because of these bugs.

Not once did I EVER mention that the Killer should get nerfed.

Not once did I imply the power itself was an issue, and in fact go out of my way to mention that that "I was not going to say that 'the new Killer is overpowered' " since that was never the point of the post.

All I mentioned were bugs that actively make the experience worse for Survivor, that's it. PLEASE actually take the time to read my post and dont make wild assumptions based on your own preconceived notions.

Stuff like this is why I'm baffled that anyone can defend this new penalty system. It's so flawed, it simply cannot stay in the game in any capacity.

I think it comes from a "it does not directly affect me therefore it's not an issue" mindset. They see people having issues, but because they havent had issues with the system OR dont play the role affected by the issue, they see no reason to care.

This is made even worse when some people are intentionally doing this maliciously (troll people by trying to give them Grade Reductions or Matchmaking Bans) or because it negatively impacts another person's experience even if they are not directly abusing said system maliciously ("because it is funny").

The DBD community (not everyone, but small parts of the community) has done stuff like this time and time again, it's to be expected.

Sooo remove his only way of downing survivors when he can't down survivors with his power. It's werid how people crap on a killer that's supposed to be A pick up and play killer meaning he's gonna be hard to go against. If you ever hear devs say the new character is a Pick up and play concepted is a huge red flag there gonna be very strong or busted

Genuinely asking, but when have you ever seen anyone die to Deep Wounds with a chase?
