The smell hit me first—the choking, metallic stench of dried blood mixed with damp earth. I woke up face down in the mud, my fingernails scraping against shattered glass. The air was freezing, so cold that my breath bloomed in thick, ragged white plumes. My computer screen was gone. My room was gone. I was shivering violently, staring at a massive, rusted iron hook dangling just inches from my f1 comments 19 views last activity

Back in June 2023, the Twisted Masquerade event introduced us with a bunch on new mechanics. Such as the fragile pallet. With the introduction of Rick Grimes gave us the perk Apocalyptic Ingenuity. Which implemented the fragile pallet as a base feature. Along with the June 2023 came another cool survivor mechanic, the vault blocker. I just think it would be cool if a survivor perk co5 comments 39 views last activity

Hey, all. It's been a minute since I've been on these forums. Just got back on today and saw the post about it closing. Don't really know what to say about that. Anyway, for years I've been unofficially petitioning BHVR to get an official The Mummy (1999) chapter. And now that Brendan Fraser is officially doing another The Mummy installment (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt22408968/?_ssoLoop=1), it18 comments 123 views last activity

I feel keeping this as short as I can would be best so I'll try I aim to suggest changes that hopefully can be easy to implement, like number changes, that can make it to live build in time. Although idk how game development works so forgive me. The sole survivor changes and buffs: I believe the token requirement is too limiting, there are situations where as a solo q your team can die really2 comments 37 views last activity

I have played DBD for a very long time (about 5 years or more) after playing the game for the last month straight I can say the game is not fun at all as a survivor. What's the point of getting more survivors if there's a killer that can counter your perks but it's not vice versa. This whole game is pay to win now; I remember when it used to be about skill not money. Like what do you mean there's12 comments 241 views last activity

Before I detail my proposed changes I do want to note, I think releasing the changes as they are and letting them mix things up for a bit would be more than fine. However, I wanted to make a list of how I would adjust the ones I think will end up being too weak or problematic, and see how they'll stack up once things have gotten a chance to play out. I really liked how they took some the perks that weren’t used or some that needed buffs or nerfs and made them more viable If the devs are listening to this, I hope I do more perk changes like this maybe in a smaller scale like 5-10 perks and maybe now u can focus perks that aren’t affected by diminishing returns and buff them (Low profile, Visionary, Hex overture of doom (krasue perk), or other11 comments 94 views last activity

Probably last time I talk about it because I don't want all this to be for nothing, idk how likely I will be heard by the devs, idk if more or less talking about it will help or not, but it's like always on my mind tho because I used this perk alot for many years of dbd solo q, i truly believe this is the wrong change for this perk and I know Im not the only one. Killer Change I think at the beginning of the trial, Hex Totems should be blocked. Maybe 30 seconds, Maybe 60 seconds I don't know what would be balanced. I just think Hex Totems disappear way too fast. I understand that the effects are strong but that is a perk gone in a matter of seconds. Other perks that give totem blocking could be reworking or nerfed but I truly believe it would b1 comments 42 views last activity

I see no one really talking about this, so here I go. I posted this on ptb category since I mention ptb affected perks. And I can't post in feedback and suggestion for some reason. Stealth and undetectable killers, add ons and perks etc can stomp solo q due to the lack of comms, much less than swf gets. Especially on indoor maps. The new intent system can help, but there's not many great option7 comments 115 views last activity

It honestly surprises me that these two perks haven't gotten any changes in the current PTB for the large amount of perk changes for both sides and i really do think that these perks really need some changes soon as both of them have a extremely low pick rate due to how useless and terrible they are, i don't know what kind of changes they could have but i really hope that BHVR does something abou0 comments 11 views last activity

I am absolutely in love with the change to whispers. For a long time now, I've wanted a base mechanic of some kind to allow killers with low mobility, such as Ghostface, to be able to get haste to move around the map faster to shorten the gap between lower tier killers and higher tier ones such as Blight. The fact we are getting a perk to allow this to happen in any capacity is a good start. Howe5 comments 100 views last activity

May be wrong place to ask this but its a ptb affected perk so, yeah just wondering if it's intended to or not or if its bugged that it doesn't right now, currently believe it doesn't in the ptb, but I've heard people and me confused on the wording of the perk, since they got rid of the "clear line of sight" wording. I saw people hope it means at least it works thru walls but now only once every0 comments 21 views last activity

I absolutely love Alan Wake and I've always felt that the perk Deadline never gave justice to who Alan really is. Currently the perk just increases the odds of skill checks and reduces the penalties after missing a skill check when the survivor repairing the generator is injured, sure, it might be a perk, but it doesn't fit thematically to the name "Deadl3 comments 42 views last activity

(Yes this is a long one, feel free to skip to the parts you care about) Now that it's been a few days, I'd like to look at the PTB as a whole after having time to play with a lot of the PTB myself and watch others and their ideas as well. And as a whole, the PTB will be great for the game, and if we get recurring perk update patches like this it will make the diversity of matches so much better.16 comments 228 views last activity

I’ve played Dead by Daylight for several years on both Killer and Survivor. I’m not a top-level competitive player, but I understand the fundamentals of both sides and have enough experience to notice when a killer feels limited by their kit rather than by player mistakes. This isn’t meant as a general “buff Killer” or “gens are too fast” post. My concern is that some killers, particularly old10 comments 142 views last activity

I just feel like Invocation perks downsides does not outweigh the effectiveness. Like the 60 seconds wasted to get it up, I mean that is nearly a Generator amount of time waste. Yes the time is faster with multiple but it is still time waste if no Generators are near basement. I don't have a rework idea because making it much stronger would be crazy, here the things I would want. A way to1 comments 20 views last activity

Please do NOT go through with this Windows of Opportunity nerf. I genuinely don’t understand why this perk needs to lose pallet auras in the first place. Windows is especially important for newer players. DBD has so many maps and tiles at this point and new players obviously aren’t going to know where every pallet and window is. Windows helps them learn maps and understand where they can actua4 comments 94 views last activity

I know that killer got lots more impactful buffs than survivor but one of my biggest issue is Haste for survivors. With the recent update, killers got a lot of haste . My problem isn't the haste itself but rather the duration. Now this is not me complaining about how op killer perks are. All I want is a ''Lengthy haste survivor perk'' People will argue "oh you have perks like Hope and8 comments 82 views last activity

With the new buffed perk, does Do No Harm stack with Shoulder the Burden . So if a survivor is hooked twice then you take one hook stage away, would you heal them 150 %?1 comments 13 views last activity

I know a lot of people have came up with reworks already, some stronger than others but I have my suggestion. Here it is. Rework 1 StB now only activates when your on death hook. When another survivor is hooked, you press the active ability button to give the hooked survivor a prompt. The prompt will say something like "trade a hook stage". Hello Behaviour Interactive and the Dead by Daylight community! I would like to suggest a potential future Dead by Daylight chapter based on the 2026 movie Obsession, with Nikki as the Killer. I think Nikki could fit the Entity's Realm because her story is connected to obsession, supernatural influence, and the Wish Wand. 🔪 THE KILLER — NIKKI Killer Name: Nikki Killer Title: The Obsessed We0 comments 11 views last activity

I was just thinking it would be nice to also work on Boon Totems. 15 seconds is not too op, might give survivors a little more value. The only nerf would be this. Using Repressed Alliance on a totem has a Global Cooldown of 30 seconds. Meaning it'll effect all survivors. This only applies to the totem.0 comments 10 views last activity

The whole idea of Pain Resonance is to reward the killer for hooking multiple survivors instead of tunneling, but a lot of killers get the first regression for free, tunnel that survivor and then it's almost impossible to win for the other survivors when there are 2-3 gens left and the killer can activate Pain Res 3 times (and probably some other perks like Pop or Eruption)14 comments 191 views last activity

I've used most of the survivor perks affected by the PTB changes for a few games each, and while some are mostly QoL changes, there are some that I feel there is something that needs to be said and changed. As of now I haven't had the chance to use a good amount of the killer perks that have been changed, so I am keeping this to survivor perks and will be skipping over the perks I don't believe n5 comments 92 views last activity

The new whispers buffs is good, but not good enough for it to to be worth on equipping I definitely think increasing it by an extra 5 percent might actually make this perk worth running, giving low mobility killers explore around the map faster6 comments 131 views last activity

I don't want to be lazy but I am really tired of laying the exact names and wording of perks. So I will give a brief run down of this perk. Oh and I have no idea of the perk name. First thing to note, this strange totem is a survivor perk but effects both killers and survivors by changing gameplay forever. These are the effects. Gives survivors and killers 20 % haste. Hi Behaviour team, I would love for you guys to consider reworking fast track to make it a more exciting end game strategy for survivors. Current Fast Track was over corrected and it’s currently one of the most disappointing perks in the game. The reward is simply too low for the risk and opportunity cost. Most of the time the optimal play is to ignore the hook and stay on your generator. That3 comments 40 views last activity

Both perks have it’s own problems and encourage unhealthy/not interactive gameplay. Stake out was a problem because it made other skillcheck perks too strong and now it gives the same progress as if you were using it with bardic/hyperfocus before the ptb. 4% is too big of a number for just 1 perk slot and the downside it has (-4% for missing) is non existent since missing ds skillcheck is impos5 comments 183 views last activity

I just had a good thought about this perk, an amazing rework with some really punishing downsides. Not disrespect to the developers but I don't like the rework, I know it was a strong perk before but only being able to use it once per match is something I am not a fan of. Rework 1 The perk should be like it was a while ago, where you don't even need to be hooked. You take a hook state from an4 comments 71 views last activity

Note: I consider this issue relevant, as the 10.2.0 perk changes were promised alongside the 9.6.0 diminishing return changes and the Clown is unable to use some of these perks. In 9.6.0, Clown players lost access to the ability to use haste perks. Rapid Brutality, PWYF, Batteries Included, Machine Learning, Furtive Chase, etc. were no longer worth running with some being worse than individual a12 comments 111 views last activity

Been seeing a lot of discussion around perks as of late and people throwing their feelings all over the place and I’m noticing a common theme. People look at one perk then ask why another one wasn’t changed. As an example let’s take the recent side grade to Windows of opportunity, many people have made their feelings known about not liking the change simply because it isn’t an unhealthy perk o28 comments 483 views last activity

When looking through the chests, you have a chance to find lots of Magic Items to help the survivor. There are two in particular that would make crazy perks. Those are the Hand of Vecna and the the Eye of Vecna. The Hand of Vecna teleports a survivor further than 10 meters away. The Eye of Vecna grants invisibility for 3 seconds. What if there where perks that could do the same. I0 comments 10 views last activity

Whispers is not a meta perk, used by less than 1% players. I humbly request to not change it. We, the players who spend less than 1-2 hours a day in the game, cannot develop much of a map and game sense because of our studies and other duties. We rely on whispers as a radar to detect survivors. By destroying the it's range from 32 to 24 meters, Behavior, you are destroying the core mechanics of t7 comments 91 views last activity

Essentially, with the new perk changes a lot of unhealthy perks got nerfed and a ton of weaker perks got huge buffs. I was curious as to what you guys thought would be some amazing secret perks or combos to use. I'll start with killers Dark Arrogance, Ravenous, and Whispers. Then for survivors I think Road Life, Do No Harm, maybe This is not happening too?2 comments 32 views last activity

I was genuinely excited for this patch, I thought both sides would get some interesting perk updates that unlock new unique perk combos, and maybe this would give me a reason to start playing more survivor again since every patch lately I've been pushed to play more and more killer. And we did, on the killer side. Genuinely think there are some great changes for killer perks, a lot of them have12 comments 241 views last activity

Potential energy seems like such a cool perk, and it looks very cool, but the effect is mediocre at best, either reduce/remove the penalty for getting hit or do something with it like for example having more skillchecks while using Potential energy or having great skillchecks give you more tokens or something, It simply looks too cool to be this bad, the animators did too much work for this perk3 comments 30 views last activity

The new Shoulder the Burden is absolutely obliterated for anyone that isn't in an experienced SWF. The penalty is 3 times as long and broken also makes you a more obvious target, and you also waste time healing after the 2 minutes are over. The most controversial part of the change is removing the ability to use it if another survivor has used it once in the trial already. Again, this only makes4 comments 31 views last activity

In my opinion, Dissolution was one of those perks that was just there. A good perk, not bad, not overpowered, just good if you needed it. It did its job just fine, was easy to counter and easy to get value with. Edit: I am ONLY talking about the timing window nerf. Not the activation means via special and normal attacks.
