I see in the dev post - it mentioned a few perks - but what about all of the other perks being adjusted? What all is getting adjusted? Is it just perks or also killers as well? Etc3 comments 281 views last activity

Hello everyone! I came up with a Killer perk concept called Ruination . The main idea is to gradually reduce the number of available Pallets throughout the Trial. However, there is a drawback: the more Pallets Ruination destroys, the longer the Killer is stunned by Pallets. This is meant to create a risk/reward mechanic rather than simply giving the Killer a free advantage. Ruination0 comments 31 views last activity

So first things first, human greed should have the same effect as hoarder to spawn 2 more chests, as currently it's unusable unless you bring hoarder as well, making human greed basically 2 perk slots instead of 1, secondly I would switch the chest aura reading from seeing closed chests to seeing opened chests, while still getting aura reading from closed chests, as you don't really care about wh1 comments 20 views last activity

For all the time that is gained, something is lost. At the beginning of the trial, a random dull totem turns into a Pharmakon Totem. The killer and survivors within 6 metres of the totem gain the Pharmakon effects. • Survivors than enter the radius will gain 20% haste that will linger for 90/105/120 seconds. • Killers that enter the radius will gain 20 % haste that will linger fo0 comments 20 views last activity

I genuinely hate seeing the same 30 perks every game, and was curious as to why people only use meta perks? Obviously its just to win, but as long as you're actually good at the game or even just have good fundamentals winning is relatively easy. On the survivor side I personally never use meta perks on survivor aside from the occasional SB or DH since they're fun to use, and I'm good enough in7 comments 81 views last activity

yo, since we got the hinako skin for cheryl i keep thinking about how sick it’d be to actually get shiromuku as a full on killer. ik that hinako is a skin but that shouldn't stop the idea ig? she has so much aura it literally hurts me for her not to be there already. dbd already does weird skin logic so having a2 comments 40 views last activity

As far as I understand, custom icons are still considered “use at your own risk” , even though they have been around for years and are extremely popular in the community. With the new Anti-Cheat trial, does using custom icons potentially increase the risk of being flagged or banned? Has anything changed how Anti-Cheat handles them? More generally, is there a reason why custom icons still are1 comments 100 views last activity

This is just a suggestion, do not hate if you think it is bad. Self Care takes a total of 46 seconds to heal, I just think it sucks that if a killer runs a perk like Sloppy Butcher then the perk is unusable. I have two suggestions for this perk. Buff the heal speed back to the old 100% (16 Second Heal) Add a 60 second cooldown between usage. Boon : Circle of Healing is a strong perk b10 comments 111 views last activity

1. Water Ghost When the Survivor is in the dying state, if the Killer is within 0.4 meters of the Survivor, the Survivor can consume 20% of their dying-state gauge to grab the Killer by the ankle. The Survivor can hold the Killer for up to 5 seconds. While being held, the Killer's movement speed is reduced by 50%. (The dying-state gauge mentioned here is different from the recovery gauge. 1. Prayer: Remove the burden Praying in the basement causes one to fall into a state of paralysis, and for 60 seconds one becomes incurable and blind. After 60 seconds, it reduces your own hook count. It can be used only once in the sacrifice system. Prayer does not activate immediately; it takes the same amount of time as other prayer pucks. 2. Ideas about new skills 1. The Last Strife The ability of this skill can be used once each time you are rescued from the hook, and it can be activated while injured. You can use it freely in the situation you want, without being affected at all by exhaustion. When you cast this skill, you cannot perform any action for 5 seconds. But even a murderer can do nothing to that survivor. The survivor3 comments 40 views last activity

As the title says, what are your most hated perks? Or maybe what perks do you think are the most frustratingly designed? For me playing as a survivor, my most hated perks are definitely Spirit Fury and Pentimento. Both take established game mechanics and counterplays and turn them into lose-lose scenarios for survivors, and I think that is awful game design. As killer, it would probably Deliver47 comments 882 views last activity

I really think that a showman / performer survivor like Harry Houdini would be a great fit for DBD, and his image rights and name rights are already in the public domain right now, so Behaviour could use them without having to pay for any licenses. I really think they could have a lot of fun with his 3 perks and character design. An expert escape artist, with the flair for the dramatic, does it n0 comments 10 views last activity

I was recently running Second Wind for the first time in a little while, and I genuinely think it's an underrated perk. However, the activation condition is kind of awkward at times and isn't clarified by the description. Currently, the perk says that it becomes active "After you heal 1 Survivor." However, more accurately, the perk activates after you heal a survivor for 1 full health state. Wit2 comments 51 views last activity

Undone is, as we all know, not a good perk. While the actual effect is nice, up to 30% generator damage on kick followed by 30 seconds of that gen being blocked, the requirement of missed skill checks makes it completely useless. The solution, I feel, is simple: change Undone to gain tokens through great skill checks. This would do several things: Be more consistent to obtain Not punish newer10 comments 131 views last activity

Fruits of your labor is in need of a minor buff. Currently it only activates when YOU finish a generator, not whenever a survivor finishes a generator. This makes it so you get perk value maybe 1-2 times per game? The perk just isn't strong enough to justify that few of uses. My suggestion is just a minor wording change to make this perk more valuable and worth bringing to a match. (As I current10 comments 150 views last activity

In-game it is not clear whether a kick action is needed on killer perks that proc on gen damage or whether they can proc on other perks (such as Oppression able to proc off of Pain Res). For instance, currently Nowhere to Hide reads as such: "Whenever you damage a Generator, for 5s, you see the Auras of Survivors within 18m of it." A preferred change would be to make it closer to how the wiki w1 comments 30 views last activity

Windows of Opportunity is one of the most used dead by daylight perks. The perk is definitely strong and very useful but it would also help solo queue. Of course if this ever became a thing then killer would also need a base-kit perk. My suggestion for a base-kit killer perk to help killer would be Corrupt Intervention . Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the state of game balance lately, specifically how frustrating it is that matches can fly by in literally 4 minutes. Really tired of every new update survivors get NERFED, and their perks get DEMOLISHED and completely cut and changed. But the new killers can kill us faster, mori us at the start, have busted add ons that make the game almost impossible for survivors to win. I do think Diminishing effects are a good idea, makes it easier to balance around. My only complaint is perks like Boon : Dark Theory and Made For This have deminishing effects as well. Can we please have a requirement to reach these diminishing effects, the same can be for killer. So like haste perks starts getting diminishing effects at like 10% haste .2 comments 40 views last activity

Can someone genuinely tell me why the play button has been changed to THIS puke-inducing, rotten fly-on-the-ointment thing? Of course, I'm not just complaining about the visual design itself. They removed the estimated queue time and the "Time left until match" timer. Why? Who asked for this? The play button was just fine before. And now I don't even know8 comments 210 views last activity

STOP USING THRILL OF THE HUNT WITH NO OTHER HEX PERKS the amount of new killers ive come across wasting a perk slot using only thrill with no other hex perks is immense. This perk is there to defend hexes. The only thing it does with no hex perks is make it more tricky for boon perks to be set up.12 comments 250 views last activity

its no secret - killers w/ the ability to damage via a non M1 attack 99/100 outclass ANY M1 killer, and its not that's because M1 killers are inherently bad. It's because M2 killers can bypass the biggest weaknesses M1 killers are forced to deal with. M1 killers have to physically reach survivors and hit them, meaning pallets, windows, pre-running, safe tiles, body blocking, endurance, and distan1 comments 60 views last activity

Title is self explanatory - but why would anyone use Pop > TBTC? I can understand if you're running nowhere to hide, overcharge, etc - but those are additional perk slots. I know this would seem very overpowered but that only depends on how you design it. Maybe it could be a basekit Exhaustion feature, an affect of Vigil or maybe even a future Boon perk. Obviously getting exhaustion back while running at the same speed of walking would be very strong so it would probably get back twice as slow. Or taking even longer while in chase. Separate lower level casual players and higher level competitive players with proper perk adjustmentThis is from my perspective as a survivor main and has been for my entire time playing this game. However, I do occasionally play killer, mainly in customs with some friends. A large part of my enjoyment of this game came from build crafting, finding unique and fun ways to put perks together to make something that felt like my own. Ever since the Krasue has gotten her nerfs in the past, she has been one of the least played killers in the game due to her boring gameplay and lack of depth to her kit, i really think that she either needs a buff or a full rework for her power to add some depth to it and make her a bit more enjoyable instead of being seen as a boring to play killer in the game, her perks need some changes too si5 comments 51 views last activity

Is there any way to have this revisited? I know the dev note said that there were concerns on the lower tier amount of time. That's not even my complaint, what about the seven other status effects it used to work on but doesn't anymore??? Now it's just an exhaustion reducer? That's awful. What happened here and why?10 comments 151 views last activity

I know this is such a bad idea but it would be pretty fun. There would be a lot more build combinations. This would obviously lead to a lot of issues in both sides involving meta perks. So giving an option to ban five perks each would be a good start. This is just experimental, just a fun but crazy build. Maybe to start things out you could make it like Chaos Shuffle but with 5 Perk Slots.11 comments 92 views last activity

I know as a solo survivor it must be annoying and seem unbalanced and unfair but you have to understand what is possible as survivor. Everyone knows solo survivor is the hardest role, especially with bad randoms. We have all been there. I play both survivor and killer. I think, judgements gameplay is not balanced.Every match is the same gameplay. The killer will sit in center map and just snipe with beam of light towards gens with no end. No chase, no hunting whatsoever. It's quite boring, and unfair. I know we get sound cues when the judgement casts the beam of light, but survivors dont always know where they are. Whereas, kil5 comments 59 views last activity

This is such a dumb idea but I think it would be funny. To balance this idea a little bit, survivors would be hindered by 5% or maybe even more . Once a survivor is injured, the boon is dropped and then a killer can snuff it out. This effect would have a long cooldown. The survivors can drop the boon to get it effect in a chosen radius. Invocation is cool idea, bringing someone new to dbd. The problem I have is the downside is much bigger that the upside. So I have a big rework. Just wondering if there’s ever a possibility for favouriting to be added, Like favouriting survivors, killers, or possibly even perks and addons.
