Really interesting idea! Not sure what our long term plan is with KYF but I will certainly send your idea back to the Design team.

-
We do not have that listed as a bug right now. Unbreakable 3 is one use only.
Have you reported in-game? -
Seems like a nice feature, and it's great to see you all agree for once.

Let me be frank with you: I wouldn't get my hopes up.
We have a lot to do before we look into something like this.
EDIT: I still added it on the Feature Community backlog list. Let's see what the Designers think about it
-
If you DC during the loading screen, for any reasons, it will be added as a DC.
If you crash, it won't count as a DC. -
@Master is right.
We are developing the same game on different platforms. The builds are identical apart from tiny bug fixes.
Changing something as important as hitboxes on the console version would mean we would have to support 2 different games. This isn't something we are able to do.As Master said as well, shipping the builds on different days doesn't make them different builds
-
Any discussions and feedback about the game is welcome!
That's how we grow as a project, as a Community. When members bring negative feedback, the delivery might sometimes be a bit harsh but the feedback is still valid. Plus, our mods do an awesome job at keeping most conversations civil.
@Ray_Penber I want to salute your desire to improve the atmosphere in the forums.

I am happy to say that I've read a lot of great discussions lately on delicate subject that normally derails really fast but members stayed on topic and it was a nice experience for everyone. -
Hello!
I sent that thread to our QA team as I didn't see anything about it in our database.@Creator We don't comment on every post but we are on forums everyday.
I want to make sure that you know it has been noticed!
Thank you for the report.
EDIT: It is now logged in our database and QA + Animation confirmed it's a bug.
I can't give you any ETAs on fixes but at least we have it logged! -
Hello @Dinaqma
Let me reassure you, we do ban for communication abuse. We have a team of Associate Community Managers that are working to make this game a safer and nicer place.
If you consult the game rules you can find this clause covering Communication Abuse:
HARASSMENT: COMMUNICATION ABUSE
Insults, intimidation, hateful speech, repeated harassment
In-game report REQUIREDYour responsibility in the case of communication abuse is to report through the in-game report.
We have access to chat logs and when players are flagged, the cases are investigated.
The escalation process for that offence is 24h / 48h / 1 week / Permanent banNote that we do not give any public information on the outcome of the investigations.
-
Hey guys!
I want to take a minute to salute the way almost everyone in this thread discussed this very sensitive subject without resulting to insults or accusing members of our community.
I am keeping an eye on this subject and I will keep bringing feedback to the team.
-
Thanks!

-
There was no discussion about gamemodes today.
We talked about the changes in the PTB -
Designers like to tweak things. They are still in iteration for some of the PTB changes so when I have more info / confirmations for changes I will update.
-
@fcc2014 One thing at the time! That feedback has been brought to the team already

-
Yes it is.
These 2 changes below aren't going live with 2.5.0
- Self-Care: All healing action speeds are reduced by 45%/35%/25%. This action speed penalty replaces the previous Self-care penalty (-50% speed) and applies a flat penalty to ALL healing actions.
- The Deep Wound timer now starts at 20 seconds (instead of 30 seconds) when an injured survivor is hit by Feral Frenzy. The timer for Feral Frenzy hits on healthy survivors remains at 30 seconds.
-
I was going to answer you @slipttees but the thread has already all the answers you need.

Kudos to the people who answered you with good information and no negativity. You guys rock!We would love to be able to provide a test build for consoles but, for the reasons listed in this thread, it is sadly impossible for us to do it.
-
What @Kaelum said is right.
It's an adjustment to make the vault tiers (slow, medium, fast) clearly different from each other.
New animation on med tier vault + running vault velocity adjustment on fast vault makes the experience feels smoother for players. -
We do.
I am assuming The Legion change you are referring to is this one:
The Deep Wound timer now starts at 20 seconds (instead of 30 seconds) when an injured survivor is hit by Feral Frenzy. The timer for Feral Frenzy hits on healthy survivors remains at 30 seconds. This change is currently being tested on the PTB and is originally and idea coming from the Community.
If you don't like the change, you can just give your feedback here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/-2-5-0-ptb
-
That's why it's in TESTING right now (like we did the hatch closing)
We will be looking at feedback on this one. -
This is a change that's being TESTED. It isn't guarantee it will go live with 2.5.0
Self Care on the live version
50% healing speed for Self-Caring action
100% speed for healing othersSelf Care as a TEST on the PTB
75% healing speed for Self-Caring action
75% healing speed for healing others.I hope this helped you understand the changes better.

Feel free to give us feedback about it! -
It is real @Shad03

Hello @UberMorpth !
Sorry to hear The Legion isn't for you!
We will not disable our newest killer, this is not the path we want to take for balancing content.
We are aware of the feedback we received from the Community on the new content and we aim to improve the experience for everyone. Our learnings from past experiences have for consequence that we are not rushing changes right after a release anymore, so adjustments might take a bit more time.
If you are interested in The Legion, we discussed upcoming adjustments and power creation during the last livestream.:

Hello @Blaque_magik87 !
I went to the map designers and got some information for you!
The hook spawns are as follow
- A maximum of 1 hook per tile
- An average 9 per map (a bit more on the larger maps, depending on the tiles) + 4 in the basement
- The closest the hooks can spawn from each other is 16m, on different tiles.
As for the 99$ Auric Cells pack, as @lasombra1979 mentionned, it is totally optional and it's used to buy cosmetics in the store that are also optional, it has nothing to do with gameplay.
EDIT: Typo

Hello everyone!
A few clarifications on our strategy for the Winter Solstice.
We didn't want to hype up the Winter Solstice with teasing and pre-announcements since the winter celebration doesn't have any gameplay addition.
Events with gameplay modifyers and rewards require a team on-site to make sure everything goes according to plan. Since the studio is closed for the holidays, we wanted to make sure the players would still have something to enjoy in the game that wouldn't require an on-site team to manage.
The only outfits that are tied to the Winter Solstice are the Killer Frosty Eyes.
Happy holidays!
-
@purebalance Let me check with the team but I think that's related to the Bloodhunt point gain (starting December 27th)
EDIT: It's a UI bug.
-
@PhantomMask20763 For now, it is likely it will not be available for the holiday period.
-
The map is disabled because of an issue causing crashing for a lot of players.
Unless we are able to push a fix to the map crashing before the holidays, the map will remain unavailable. -
@DwightsLifeMatters We didn't want to hype up a celebration that had no special gameplay. Since the studio is closed for the holidays, we wanted to provide players with winter celebrations that were sustainable even if we were away. Hope that answers your question!

-
Surprise!
-
We have disabled the Mount Ormond Resort until we fixed the issue causing the crash.
-
@ProfessorDunwich We know about this issue, we mentionned it during our livestream today. The team is on it.
-
It's on my main build. I love it!
It's deemed as a meme perk but It's generally working if used properly.
And I LOVE the people saying ''I have enough experience not to fall for a Pebble'', then proceed to fall for a Pebble
-
@se05239 My point was, they are passionate individuals that are playing video games.I am certainly not going to list all the games the people on the team are playing. I can see your goal is just to attack the team.
If you don't believe it, that's your choice. Have a good day! -
@se05239 I am not saying they play DBD all the time. They are fans of videogames. They play games. All the games.
-
@Patricia How dare you have a life outside of work!

I stream and play the game often, a lot of people on the team do that too! Remember I was recruited as a fan of the game so obviously I am still a fan.

Devs are also gamers at heart, so we love playing new games, tabletop games or D&D! Some of us are PC gamers, some of us are console players, some of us both! There is all kind of people on our team.
-
Thanks for your good words I am sure a lot of people on our team appreciate it! Don't you worry, I make sure that the tone / feedback is neutral when it gets to the dev team.
Fans that disagree with our decision is something that will always exist and is healthy to the game, we are lucky to have such a passionate community!
-
Thanks for the answers Mandy.
@Brady I will talk with the Producer to see if the min requirements changed with this Unreal Engine update or if it should still be the same, AFAIK, they are still the same. As Mandy mentionned, if you are a bit lower than requirements on your CPU, that might be the reason you are having issues. -
Feedback done to the team! Thanks for your time guys!
-
I made sure to bring your feedback to the right person on our team.
-
@Raccoon I got this point on my feedback list to the team already. Thanks for looking out!

-
Hello!
The error 8014 is a Connection error that occurs when you cannot connect to our backend services.
It is normally caused by an overflow of our backend servers and will be resolved by itself when the system is stable. If the issue is still happening, I'd like to get a bit more information from you.
-
Thanks for the report @Karltastisk I'll try to find more information for you!
-
@Boss Can you please provide more information?
Details on your specs / platform / results -
Thanks guys! I will now move this thread to the General forums for more feedback now that the update is live!
-
Hey guys! This is feedback that was already given to the team.
I can see if there is any development on this but AFAIK there is nothing in the works to change it. -
Hello @SmokePotion
I am taking the time to clarify a bit on the questions / feedback you have:
- We have been releasing on Tuesdays since the Year 2 anniversary and the introduction to our new roadmap. It is normal players will assume a release is planned on Tuesday.
- We are not announcing dates for multiple reasons, specifically because we have exclusivity engagements with partners. These are legal bound contracts and we have to stick to the release schedule.
- We release information on changes / patch notes every single time we patch. If you are interested, they are published in your news pop-up (in-game) as well as the official forums.
- You bought this game and by doing so, you bought a revocable license.
From the EULA
- BHVR hereby grants to you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, non-assignable and fully revocable license to use the Game and any Content therefrom for your individual, non-commercial, entertainment purposes only.
- From time to time, BHVR may provide you with updates or modifications to the Game. You understand that certain updates and modifications may be required in order to continue the use of the Game.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/33798/dedicated-servers-coming-summer-2019#latest
As we say here, we will reveal more information as we get closer to the release. Sadly for now we cannot answer your question. -
@se05239 The purpose of the PTB is to test the content we will release and get feedback. Which we did.
The number of rounds of feedback depends on our release schedule as well as the nature of the changes we are making. This time, the PTB doesn't get updated.
