They really need to add rank rewards. And good ones at that. Things that reward players for staying at rank 1 because right now if someone doesn't like the challenge they just derank with no punishment.If they add rank rewards they first need to address the problem with DCing because people will only become more incentivize to DC if they know they are going to lose a pip. Once you add rewards to any competitive setting people tend to get more competitive by nature and will develop frustration quicker at the thought of losing progress.
Fix DCing first then figure out a reward system OR remove rank entirely.

Will the distance between pallets spawning take into account levels with multiple floors, like the Preschool, and The Game?Not claiming to know their programming or mindset but I don't believe it does take floor levels into account. I believe this is why when they originally attempted (yes attempted) the last pallet distance rework they had to do a separate patch for Badham preschool.

@MisterCremaster
I would like to see a re balance of BP because so many times I'll do 3-5 gens completely solo but because the killer was busy chasing others and not me I end up with 5-10k less BP then everyone else. Even if I'm the only escaping survivor. -
@Vietfox said:
Use kindred 3. (at least more often)
It's a fantastic perk which screws the killer when camping, and if that happens, the others can do gens and do their jobs more efficiently.
If killer doesn't camp the closest survivor to u will attempt the rescue while the others will know that they gotta keep repairing the gens.
Seriously, it's an underrated perk which i barely see among solo survivors.As a solo survivor its very easy to spot a camping killer and to make that quick decision to go do gens. If you are a SWF group its not hard to communicate to your team the same information. Does Kindred speed this process up , YES does it compensate for players natural born ability to make horrible plays and simply crouch near the killer NO.
To all survivors solo or not just use your head and your eyes and make a choice.
I think the REAL issue here is to not ######### on a hook when you are being camped. Sure it sucks for you but now it sucks for everyone else too!

I'm not saying show what killer it is. Just the name of the person who is playing the killer.I play PS4 not XBOX but on PS4 you just go to your Friends list and click currently playing, click on your name and see who is in your match. the name that isn't one of your 3 teammates is the killer.
If XBOX has something similar then you will be able to do this also.
-
This isn't a problem for Killers because you can define your "win" condition however you like. With survivors however you are part of a team and if 1 or multiple teammates have conflicting win conditions that is where things can get frustrating. Most play with SWF so this isn't an issue but I only ever play solo survivor (if I'm not running killer) and for me escaping ,be it me or my teammates, is my "win" condition. Often I end up being the gen jocky while other potatoes runs around the map...

@MegaWaffle I agree that it has it's downsides which can put people off. I was just making sure that @Link was aware of the perk since it wasn't on the list. Think it's the only perk they missed though unless they consider Bloodwarden as slowing the game down as well.Blood-Warden also has a huge drawback since you can outright counter the perks activation. If someone is downed before you open a gate or you assume they will be downed before you get it open just get the gate to 99% and don't open it until they are already hooked. This will prevent the perk from activating.
i get what your saying that these perks buy you a little time (I guess) but I still feel like nothing compares to Ruin. I honestly think Ruin should just be somehow a baseline perk with adjustments of course. Either way we can only see what the Devs bring us moving forward.

@The_Fallen_Utopia said:
I think Pop goes the Weasel is a good perk to slow the game down. Couldn't see it on the list so thought I'd mention it.I agree it can slow the game down but the reason you don't see many killers use the perk is that 30 second time window. If you have to run to a gen in 30 seconds to use the perk you A: Will give an easy unhook B: Must ignore any survivors you see to go kick a gen C: Might have to walk far away to kick a gen that actually has progression. I'm not saying the perk is bad but it has a few downsides that make it not very popular.

The only change they mentioned in a Dev stream was simply stated as a possible idea and not a concrete change was that D-strike would root the killer in place instead of instantly escaping. Again they never said anything definitive of a D-strike change only ideas being tossed around.

I only encountered one decent nurse but only at lower ranks, the rest of them were really bad. Is it hard to play her well on ps4 or are there some other reasons most people can't get good with her?I find her interesting and I wish she was more challenging to play against.
As others have said poor fps and limited sensitivity on controller make her difficult to play, and even the "good" Nurse players will struggle against competent survivors.

Sorry I though you were referring to the song "Sexy and I know it" by LMFAO."I'm sexy and I know it [2x]
Check it out [2x]Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle yeah [3x]
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle yeah, yeah" -
There is also a fun interaction where if you stand in front of a hook and the survivor on that hook struggles free and falls onto you the two player models will merge and you will both be stuck.

Does anyone still use MLGA? Does EAC allow it? I am just tired of getting tunneled and mori'd by the same toxic killers in the high ranks and I just want a program that can warn me ahead of time so I can dodge the lobby.Pretty sure that "Peanut" mod fellow mentioned they won't actively hunt you down for this third party software but if it gets flagged and their system targets you they will not/can not stop your ban.
So yes its not tolerated but not a priority to hunt down.

Have devs ever stated a reason or reasons as to why Killers can't save their used Add-ons by doing really well in the trial?
I always figured it's cause Killer Add-ons would just be more powerful in comparison, and that's why. (Though that would go against the whole "Killers are in the minority so they need advantages.", but whatever.)Its one of the reason Killers typically get more BP then the average survivor to compensate for your Blood-web spending.
They did state a few Dev streams ago that they are looking at ideas to better balance the survivor/killer economy for items and add-ons.
-
SWF does have some serious balance issues but it should keep you all in a lobby when you end a match or are lobby dodged. Quality of life changes like this don't affect anything negatively.

Megs store bought jeans look like she is wearing a diaper, please consider remodeling them to look less ridiculous, I consider the Left 4 Dead Zoey Outfit to be the golden standard for jeans on Meg. If I'm paying 250 auric cells I expect to at-least enjoy the view and not question whether years of being chased by killers has left Meg crapping her pants during every chase.Maybe its a subtle add for "Depends" diapers. Most Meg players seem to DEPEND on Sprint Burst after all.

Oh this is beautiful. I assume it would apply to killers too.
With the current "host" system setup the game has this wouldn't be able to track Killer DCs. But I do like the idea as a whole.
Actually it does.
I'm talking about the OP's stipulations around what actions would count as a "DC" should one occur. Because the current "host" system only knows "app is closed game has been terminated" it couldn't distinguish under what stipulation it occured.

Just posting to say I was here.

@wafflemaker
Now if they added a way to save replays of the match this would help spot hackers on PC and it could offer you a way to learn what you did wrong/right during a match, what your teammates did wrong/right during the match AND offer a Killer view. I think this would be more what you are looking for.^.^ Cheers!

I know it's not an option to spectate killer's. It would be great if you can view the killer's perspective in the game. I think it would be pretty cool if the DBD developers would add this as an option.What do you think? Good or Bad.
I do not need to say why this idea would completely ruin the game since others have clearly stated the reason before me however may I just say IN NO WORLD DID YOU MAKE ME!

I assume it has something to do with the unwillingness of people to play on the PTB if theres nothing in for them. Just look at the last PTBs, survivors barely played them.Having a different client (so you don´t have to alter your normal game directory) would probably help.
Maybe even give some incentives like BPs or shards that transfer over to the normal account.You are correct they have already said that the PTB has such a low amount of participants and testing barely gets played out. I know they want to try and create incentives to play the PTB but the community is just not responding to the call. Its too bad of the limitations for console players because I know I (and other) would be willing to play a PTB server. Sadly this is never going to be viable with Microsoft/Sony.

It's supposed to disorient you during a chase. Working as intended.Agreed it is suppose to cause you to become disoriented and screw your camera up. I do however find this effect is over-tuned on console vs PC. I wouldn't mind if either the duration or camera lock was slightly lessened for console players. Either way it is working as intended.

Can we stick to the topic and not talk about how many players are rank 1 and SWF groups.
This threat is about survivors not having a proper BP gain perk that is actually useful in a game like BBQ.Yes there is a BP perk called we're gonna live forever but how often is that perk used compared to BBQ?
Rarely ever. And that is because we're gonna live forever has no other effect than giving you additional BP like a offering where BBQ gives you BP and vision (which is probably the most powerful tool you can have in the game). I'm not saying BBQ is op, I'm just saying survivors need a respectable BP perk as well."Can we stick to the topic"
Your topic is "Survivor need a BP gain perk too" and we already answered that THEY DO. So its you who doesn't want to stick to the topic and is instead suggesting survivors need an aura BP perk because Killers have one. If that's the case can Killers get a D-strike perk where they stab the survivor and prevent them from being able to wiggle until hooked? I mean survivors have one!If survivors and killers had the same perks ######### would be boring as hell.

Yesterday I wanted to get my Adept David Trophy and I survived through the Exit Gate nur I didn't get the Trophy. The same happened to me with the Spirit Trophy. Is this bugged?Yes all the adept trophies have this bug. As others have said don't interact with chests, bring items or pick items up and it seems to stop any sort of bug from happening.
You can still get the achievement from getting the hatch but ONLY if the exit gates are powered first.

Does the entity reset the memories of the survivors after every trial? That could explain why they never remember how to fix a gen after Countless times doing it. Or why they still have not become desensitized to the killers and the pain inflicted on them.?
They know how to fix generators???Not the randoms I often get stuck with.
