The Jigsaw boxes need a chance percentage to find the key, right now the key is randomly placed in a box the moment you put the trap on. A lot of us are agreeing we need the first box to not have the key, the last box to always have the key and a percentage chance of finding the key in the other two boxes you search.

Other than add-on tweaks, Pig is really solid. We just need to change her Ultra rares and add in more add-ons for Ambush distance and speed.

I'm still not a fan of the Jigsaw Boxes being converted fully to a percentage system (especially if the percentages are not evenly distributed).  I am on board with the first box always failing (either that or RSN2 being base kit), but I don't really like the idea of boxes being randomly success or fail.  I think if they were to implement the guaranteed failure on the first box, they should make it so after searching the first box, one of the other three is randomly selected to have the correct key.

So even if the first box never has it and the last box always has it but the other 2 boxes with a percentage chance to have it you don't like? It's basically what you said, you said you're ok with the first box never having it and the other 3 nhaving a percentage. But to be fair the last box always needs to have it. Box 2 and 3 could have a 25 % each.

I didn't say that I''m okay with the other three having a percentage. I said I'm okay with the key being put in one of the remaining 3 boxes. With your suggestion, forcing a trap snap becomes MUCH MUCH easier because you have over 50% chance of having to search all four boxes (3/4 chance of failing the second box * 3/4 chance of failing the third box).

Ok so instead of the game deciding where your key is after placing the trap on your head it decides where to put the key after searching your first box leaving it a 1/3 chance of finding your key in the next box and so forth. So instead of a percentage chance it's a game of odds. Well that works because it solves the problem of the first box you search luckily being the right one and garuntees time is wasted because they need to keep searching.

I like mine better but yours is probably more fair, especially when you use add-ons to make more boxes, my idea would definitley kill most people in that scenario.

    @HatCreature

Huge exaggeration on your part and it's actually really bias if I had to be honest. My reasoning is that the survivor will need to recover with a Med-Kit after the 95% limit then use 16 charges to progress to the injured state. Remember, you'll have to slug a survivor with a Med-kit for this to happen so as long as you don't do that, you'll be just fine. Besides, when do you ever slugged a No Mither? It's the same situation with a survivor using a Med-Kit, treat them as if they have No Mither.

Please provide criticism instead of assuming that I want survivors to be a cake walk since after all Dead by Daylight isn't all about buffing killers, ya know? If you only "Yes" or "No" responses then I'll just ignore you since you are not actually giving me criticism. The WHY portion is just as important as the "Yes" and "No" response.

I don't think it's ''bias'', but I did misunderstand how it works. I thought if you had a Med-Kit and you were down you could instantly use the Med-Kit to get back up. I must have skipped over the part where you would naturally recover and then use the Med-Kit to get up. That's ok and wouldn't be a problem, I can get behind this. Also ''bias''? Where did that come from?

Ah, okay! Yes that's correct, you'll need to reach the 99% mark on the recovery meter before you can use 16 charges and enter the injured state with a Med-Kit. Additionally, you can use the Med-Kit to fill the recovery meter faster than normal if for some reason you find it worth while.

About the bias, basically it means you are mostly for one side or you have favorites (ofc not the exact definition but a quick way to get the main idea). When you misunderstood and said it's a "insta heal" I thought you didn't like the idea even through it wouldn't make a difference in most killer game. Knowing this, I took it as bias since you did not want something that wouldn't affect most killers which seems like you are picking favorites. Now that I know it's a misunderstanding, it wasn't bias. However bias and a disagreement are two completely different things so not every disagreement can be bias, it could be an actual reason besides "my side is getting nerfed so no". It's complicated to explain really.

Ok you thought I favored Killers, makes sense. I think about both sides, I love playing killer more of course but it's not right to only view things from one side.

  • So for an actual criticism----This would be ok because you still need to recover and then you sacrifice the entire Med-Kit to get back up. The Recovery cap is 95% right now so drive-bys are a thing, this is basically a drive by given to yourself and not relying on someone to come get you. This like Unbreakable but as an item and Survivors only use that perk against Sluggers which is rare so it's usually a wasted perk, now if you don't have the perk and you got slugged you at least have your Med-Kit.

  • This makes much more sense, you can swing into a pallet and miss then lose your stack, you can swing and miss and lose your valuable stack, that's not fair. But if you hit your target and lose your stack it's the same thing but the reward is actually there, it's a fair exchange, lose your ultra speed for a succesful hit. And this would work even better with Save The Best For Last, you lose movement speed but gain attack cooldown, a match made perfect. You get this from Space Coconut?

  • This makes every medkit an insta heal.

The difference though is that Pig would be doing REAL DAMAGE out of ambush with reduced STBFL cooldown where as Legion does chip damage. Since Pig can go no TR mode, it would be close to what Legion was like on the PTB with Deep Wounds on I jured survivors where the ambush would be guaranteed in a lot of cases and the killer could almost instantly recovery and attack again.

I see what you mean, but I have my doubts that it would be OP. I'm a visual learner so I would need to see it in practice but that does make sense.

Meh, you can dodge the Ambush and she still has that roar at the beginning. Legion is deadly because they have no cooldown, longer duration, and can see where people are so I don't think she'd be as bad. But I could be wrong, I'd love to see it in action though, it would look cool.

@HatCreature Oh ok the timer thing makes sense now. Really my only gripe with Pig is the RNG and the hatch. Although I think I've gotten luckier than most with my Box RNG.

Yeah ifor Pig it's luck, for Survivors they just need to find the right box which can be the first 1 they search :( it needs to change.

I've gotten head pops and I record every time I do, it's nice :)

Aren't you the same Korean guy that was complaining some days ago?

    Yep

  • I like this a lot, this is powerful but has enough counter to it, just like it is now but with no power.

If all 4 Survivors are injured they have a 20% penalty, when you down someone it's 30%, when you hook that person it's 45%. And that' s powerful but once the other 3 are healed it goes down to 30 and when that guys was unhooked it goes down to 15%. This is awesome, this is SO MUCH better than what we have and makes an actuall difference in Gen repairs.

  • I don't like to tunnel, but I will definitley abuse #2, the Toxic dude is an idiot and helps no one but #2 is being an idiot while trying to help. He's hurting his team more than helping and needs to die so he can learn from his mistakes.

The toxic douche will die eventually but only when I'm bored.

  • Amanda/Pig doesn't see the timer so we can't force a head pop on someone who is about to die. We can force it but without the information of the actual time they have left it's up to us to judge and force it. It's a fairness thing.

Woah brother. Pig is one of the few killers in this game that make me crap myself.
I literally have never played a pig game where her Jigsaw boxes spawned

literally two feet away from each other

I would love to get a map where that happens because I would teabag the life out of that map and fart my grateful survivor essence all over it.

I think that survivors being able to leave through the hatch with the trap is fair some maps it's a lot harder to find than others and the clock is ticking for you to find your only way out. I'd be more mad at the map I got than the fact the survivor left with the trap on.

I dunno about the timer thing, I thought it just pauses if the survivor is hooked.

Oh the two boxes next to each other happens, I saw it at the Thompson house at one of the jungle gyms, they were within 16m of each other or less. Luckily the team I faced was so crap I only needed to use 1 trap.

  • Discordance is one of those perks that no matter what tier you have the perk is awesome. You can never upgrade to tier 3 for Discordance and you'll be just fine because the timer does nothing since it keeps repeating if both people are on it. And lets be honest, no Survivor just gets off a Gen unless they see you coming or to do the totem next to it then get back on the Gen. So 8 seconds is ok, hell 5 seconds would be ok because it keeps repeating those 5 seconds.

This perk might need some extra things attached to it to justify multiple tiers.

  • Yeah this idea was mentioned before and I think it's cool. But I don't think the boxes should be decreased for this. I think this is the one that should have 1 RBT, same boxes but only 1 trap because it gives the possibility of killing two people instantly. The play style of keeping everyone distracted is switched to, find whoever is linked to the trapped person so I can kill off half the team. If anything because there is no timer I think the number of boxes should be increased by 1 or the Jigsaw boxes have no Auras.

  • @Tru3Lemon said:
the thing about the perks its that they need to get it from the community since all the perks that i see its just useless (survivor perks) killer perks are ok except 1 perk from the huntress

I can agree with that, did anyone want a reverse Quentin perk for lockers? The community wanted anti body blocking so we got Mad Grit but who ever asked for faster locker speed?

  • I don't think this qualifies but I really like Legion's(Susie) ruler weapon, it's the most makeshift weapon I have ever seen. The wooden ruler is obviously easy to make a stake out of but the metal one looks a lot harder and it's beautiful because it's ugly, the effort she must have gone through to make it a weapon makes me happy.

  • Ok I guess you don't care about the fact that you hit someone with a berry and now all your berries just got more powerful, logically it makes no sense. I suggested a bush because you're basically harvesting berries to improve your poison's strength, because that makes sense. If you're ok with it then that's fine. because I like that this version of Mending is longer so you have more time to hurl berries at other Survivors, hopefully you'll hit enough of them in time to upgrade your power temporarily. That's cool but not very reliable, either way she sounds interesting.

What kind of outfit do you think she would be wearing? She sounds like she'd be wearing something blue.

    Slugging. Always slugging.
Use omegablink and mori if you really want it badly

    Exactly this.

If the gen rush bothers you so much, just learn to slug and play the killers that can slug. Against good survivors that is the only option imo.

This is about getting the Adepts, the trophy for each killer using their 3 perks and getting Merciless. Sure switching to a better killer is an option for gbetter games but that doesn't help with getting the Adept for the killer you can't win with. I usually try to get these at Rank reset, easier that way, of course I wait a few days before playing killer.

  • Personally I never liked the theme of mist and monochrome for the Dreamworld when Freddy's actual dreamworld is dark, full of fire, and gore. The colors should switch to a red/orange tint and things should look burnt, maybe your black mist could be smoke.

But about your idea I think the maximum the black mist should enclose a Survivor should actually widen when in a chase. Like yeah 12m normally but when Freddy actually gets into the chase with the music then it expands a little bit so Freddy isn't in the black mist for the entire chase making him invisible. But I will say out of a chase that 12m will be awesome at sneaking up on Survivors and getting a good hit, breaking the chase and having the mist enclose again will make pallets and loops easier to avoid and therefore he has an antiloop strategy.

Taking away his Aura reading in exchange for permanently being in the Dreamworld until a Gen is done and such is a great trade-off. The mist makes it hard to see others so it's difficult to find someone to wake you, he has more mind game potential, he sounds awesome.

Months ago I made my own Freddy rework idea but I changed his power to when he has at least 2 Survivors in the Dreamworld at a time he can cross over to the real world and hit Survivors who are awake. Once both of those dreamers were awoken he would go back into the dream. Of course this is a bonus to his power, he could choose to get 2 Survivors sleeping or just be like normal and attack sleeping people. But yours sounds much better because it makes him more of a stealth killer using the mist against the Survivors and opening up surprise attacks, great job.

  • Being rewarded the full hook points for that Survivor seems fair because they cheated you out of the chance to earn it. You can't earn what they completely deny from you, we as Killers cannot get our Bloodpoints without the Survivirs. When a Killer DCs in the match we get 5k each, when a Survivor DCs the killer gets 625, that's a huge difference when it comes to pity points. It's wrong that we can get cheated of something we have to earn and suddenly that chance is taken away from us because they want to screw up our game.

  • 100% would buy a poster, T-shirt, whatever of this.

The power is interesting but might be too powerful as a power, also I don't know how everyone can be effected by larger/more status effects when more people are poisoned, they're berries not clouds that spread etc.

Also the first perk sounds OP but it really isn't, you're already in a chase and sometimes after the first hit you lose them, this would be great for Legion players.

Hex: Black Berries is cool, it's powerful but wears off and adds another totem with no indication that you have a totem so that's cool

Hex: Bee Sting though sounds too powerful, I mean it doesn't show their Auras so you'll have to find them which doesn't guarantee the down. But when you do find them it does guarantee the down, and also no one wants to stand around doing nothing for 25 seconds.

In the first thing about the power i don't understand what you want to say

    a) Yeah, and not only the legion, this perk would be so great vs P3 invisible claudette with urban evasion + iron will
    b) Maybe?
    c) It would be a great protector of Ruin, Devour Hope, etc. And it's just 25 seconds, but i think it would be better 5/10/15 seconds instead. Althrough i think that this perk on billy / leatherface would be too OP, but in other killers helpfull

I wasn't sure how to word it. So the power has tiers it sounds like and each tier is gained by throwing a berry at someone right? Well that kind of doesn't make sense because Clown throws bottles at people but his tonic doesn't get stronger when he hits everyone with a bottle.

Myers levels up his tiers by draining Survivors which require effort. Poisoner's power requires just a hit, maybe she can upgrade her own power by harvesting berries from bushes on the map? The more bushes she harvests the stronger her power becomes?

Also Wild Dance sounds awesome now since it'll be a P3 Claudette's worst enemy XD

Oh not the movement speed, just the concept; that would be awful.

  • I'm excited for the event itself, the objectives, and that's about it because I don't play those characters.

I just hope the new Objectives for Survivors the Devs spoke of several streams ago were not restricted to events only. I really want more objectives in the base game. Maybe switch Gens with something else for more variety from match to match, Gens in this one, some else in the other etc.

tf the pig just got buffed, and don't you even dare say that an extra 4 metres terror radius is a nerf it isn't gonna effect anything.

So a small buff means no more buffs ever for that killer? Great logic, guess Pig is perfect now. Perhaps you meant, she just got a buff and doesn't need another one yet? Even then it's irrelevant, we all want and have been asking for more buffs to Pig because she has crap add-ons.

  • I think it would be too difficult to do a skill check in the middle of a chase, especially since all chasses eventually lead to a pallet or window, the moment you want to vault, the skill check might appear. I mean on console this would be easy but maybe it wouldn't on PC?

This sounds like a sonar killer, you activate the power and anyone within proximity has their phone go off revealing their location. I wouldn't want an Aura but maybe something like Legion has with that bubble. The problem with this is that Ghostface would be like Freddy who has an awesome tracking ability but nothing to help in a chase or at loops. I can see why people say Legion was based off Scream because of how they run and are agile in chases but we can't have them both doing that.

I think it would be cool enough to give Legion a Ghostface cosmetic, get the license but just for the look.

@HatCreature What build/perks would you suggest for him?

    Bloodhound
    Monitor & Abuse
    Discordance
Sloppy Butcher I use this build to get closer to Survivors before activating Frenzy since Frenzy expands your TR, Bloodhound to track in chase and Mangled just to distract them with healing.

I had a REALLY good match with this

    Remember Me
    Rancor
    BBQ & Chili
I forget the last perk but basically with this I was able to juggle BOTH Exit gates, neither of them got open because I was forcing them to Mend and when they weren't Mending, the Gate took longer and the 4th couldn't get the hatch because BBQ showed me where they were going, and they DC'd to spite me XD because of it.

I haven't tried this but I think it would be awesome.
    Huntress Lullaby
    Unnerving Presence
    Thrill of The Hunt
    free perk slot

Use Irridescent Button on this and your TR effects the whole map so everytime you go into FF you could potentially make Gens all over the map explode.

Other great perks for them is Stridor, andThanatophobia, you could use Nurse's but it's up to you. Healing against Legion wastes time but people do it anyway. Hope this helps :)

  • Yeah you can see blood, Bloodhound is great for Legion.

  • I love Legion, big maps are a huge burden, even with FF but normal maps are fine. I use stacked duration add-ons and I'm good to go. Legion is fun, he can attack multiple people and keep everyone on their toes. If you use Bloodhound there will be so much blood you won't know it belongs to, true story.

You could buy with shards but you could also use those shards to get Bloodpoints to put into Legion from the Shrine. You won't waste money on getting him if you enjoy watching people play him/her.

As for counters to Legion, on console it's juking and normally you just need to run and loop for as long as you possibly can until he loses you because he can't see scratch marks in FF or hope that your long chase helps your teammates to do Gens.
