I stopped taking you seriously when you said "Killer takes no skill"
I stopped when I seen the post count at 1 tbh

I would switch Oni and huntress and put nurse in A tier, but the other ratings are fine.
Skilled Nurse can be S tier, but the average player I agree A or less.

This man, the chosen of all the killer mains, as spoken
PERIOD! -
Tbh the crowns are trash looking anyway, I do not even use the ones I have got so they can give them out regardlesa imo.
-
More survivor player base will clearly skew the numbers.
-
Killers are currently in a really good position. Better than they have been before. Can changes be addressed? Sure, nothing is perfect but I disagree on the idea they have not made changes to make our playtime a little better.
-
@Peanits can wet get an official word on what you guys are doing in regards to the growing list of bugs? As someone said before, you guys should take a chapter break at some point and focus on this surely? Cannot make money if the game continues to break and we all just give up with you guys...
-
They were added as filler for the rift. As much as i enjoy the rift and archives feature, the rewards like the charms, are just boring and quiet frankly lazy filler.

I've been told only reason to prestige is cosmetics or that you have played for so long you have nothing else to do.
Same here, and tbh after playing this game for a few years I still have never done it.

True , it's already in the new that it is a login daily bonus
Really? Missed that.

Everyone should have let this thread die, now they are going to patch a decent reward idea
-
It is an incredibly stupid addition. Just gives a free pass for hackers, EAC is a joke on its own, most accounts get banned through reporting an account, to be checked, by the playerbase. #GoodJob

I was all for buying him but unless his perks become a little better I will most likely pass on him, he has an interesting concept with the cage, but i feel that will get old fast.
-
I demand bunny ears for Freddy!
-
Agreed the original context of his films are the exact same. My thoughts where just to add something different for him, not necessarily based on his actual lore 🤷♂️

dont listen to people telling you to use stridor. Its a waste for 2 reasons.
1 if the survivor isnt running Iron Will then itll confuse the living heck out of you trying to pinpoint the survivor. 2 its a complete waste if you can track footsteps. My suggestion though and what i find the most success with is Sloppy butcher, PGTW, Noed and BBQ.
If you want a fun build that can also be deadly try Dark devotion,Sloppy Butcher Noed and STBFL.
If you run into the obsession first smack them once and let them run away with your terror radius. Theyll either have to waste time healing through sloppy or try to do gens and take the chance that youll find them again. If you find a non obsession, Great! you get free stacks of STBFL. Noed is there for the rare case that you cant apply enough pressure or you get a hard swf group that uses all the second chance meta. Have no shame in running powerful perks. Youre basically running 3 perks all game so dont feel bad for using it
I’m inclined to agree with stridor. Atm I’m using it cause of the lack of perks currently but it can be filled by a better perk. Do you mind telling me the reason for STDFL i see people running it and need to know the reason.

It was discussed in their anniversary livestream. I can link you to the summary post I made of the stream, which contains all the information as well as links to the original videos if you want to watch those instead.
Massive props, cheers 🤙

Around £300, so not too bad.

Overall, Naruto is a garbage anime series imo.
That said, the show had its moments. The Third Hokage vs Orochimaru is actually a decent fight.
I actually have a tattoo from this fight of the reaper lol 🤷♂️

Pain, story was really good.
Itachi and his end game plan was a real twist for me.

137 - Brand New
-
I mean...what else do you expect them to do? Yes, it is a bad situation but it is the smart play for the survivors.

Haunted grounds + Devour Hope is pretty solid. PGTW, for gens (since 2 hexes already is enough). Last one's likely personal choice. Sloppy butcher for keeping them injured longer, Whispers for tracking, Stridor for complimenting her power.
Solid suggestion. Pgtw and sloppy seem the new meta for slowing down games.
-
You'll get flamed whether you play good or play badly, best advice is to either turn off all incoming messages, close game chat and just move on straight after a game. Or you could take it in your stride and wind people up.

This happens to pretty much everyone, all the time. You're not alone. There will be a completely new matchmaking system introduced within the next few weeks which will hopefully fix a lot of the issues with the current one, including reducing the frequency of unfair matchmaking.
Not long returned to this game, can you link me the offical info on this? Or was it on a podcast?
-
Ehm...when all gens are done, what's with the orange timer bar at the top of the screen🤷♂️?

Badham got a rework, so now almost every pallet is mindgame able on the map (though the pallets in the fun house and preschool are still the same.)
Freddy was buffed and is now really strong, id say hes around the strength of Huntress (though maybe a little bit weaker)
Well from an ex huntress main, freddy work the purchase?

Welcome, we have a weird meta for survivors: No Heal Meta :D
Most Survivors Run (In my opinion):
DS
Inner Strength
(Choice Exhaustion Perk)
Adrenaline
Hit me with the killer meta

Or it can stay the way it is, and you just re-Q while we decide if we want to hate ourselves and play against a swf squad.

Ooof okay. I really hope so. Had a game with multiple party streamers, and when I was inches from escaping they left. Extremely upsetting.Unfortunately it is just the risk you have to run when using high quality offerings. My best advice is to wait til double BP events or community events to use them. In my experience you get less DCs since everyone wants to grind at that point in time.
-
It is a connection issue, once the Killer DCs there is no further communication between the players so items are lost. Once dedicated servers roll around the issue will be easier to attend to.
-
I think you and myself have two very different understandings of the meaning behind "confirmed."
-
Can someone link me the cosmetics, at work so cannot watch the VOD atm.

BHVR is earning money with these skins, therefore it would not make sense to make skins only available for a limited amount of time.If a player wants something to brag about, they can play the game a lot and brag about their devotion level.
This.
At the end of the day BHVR is a company, and companies need to make money. Exclusives are a novelty, why would BHVR not double down on events and offer people to buy them? From a business POV, it makes more sense than to keep a small minority happy over "bragging rights."
You get your skins for free, while getting some BP in, that should be enough. If someone wants to go and spend his/her money on them, that is up to them. DBD is doing well on pushing out events for the community, take your reward and just be happy they are doing something right. -

Typically I find the animation cancel does not show them lifting the survivor from the hook. Paying close attention and when they start lifting the survivor up and off, you can time it so they cannot cancel the animation and guaranteed a grab. It takes some practise but after a few tries you can get it down.
Otherwise just do what @JanTheMan suggested.
I have to add that once you grab the Survivor, drop them as quick as possible because the others will hook dive and unhook the other survivor if they are ready for the grab.So basically, once the hooked survivor starts moving, go for the grab. Because by that point, they'll be locked into it and cannot cancel?
Yes, pretty much. Once you get the timing down you will have less issues with hook diving. As I said before, just be ready to drop the grabbed survivor asap because chances are another survivor is ready to hook dive right at the back of you. If you have any issues drop me a message and I'll share an example if I can find one.

BBQ, NOED, ruin and sloppy butcher is usually what I run. The last perk can be swapped out for something else.
-
Latency, the Killer is the host so until dedicated serves roll in, this will continue to be a common issue.

Can healing take 5 minutes? Can we get tombstones for all killers? Can survivors go down in 1 hit? Can noed be a regular perk? Etc..Just nerf survivors to the ground, maybe one day people will stop whining about killers being weak.
Silly. Reacting with survivor sided whining to killer sided whining is hardly an appropriate response.
I swear it sometimes feels like kindergarten in here.
Kindergarten has adults to stop any bad behaviour...we are out here on our own bud.

Huntress is still viable, she is not really effected in a bad or good way from the past few patches. The issues you have pointed out have always been present.

To be fair, I think not just Killers but all of us need something to drive ranking up. Currently, it is just how much time you put in and you get no reward. BHVR needs to look into forming actual seasons and redesigning the rank system, otherwise just remove it and give us open casual mode.
-
Not 12 years old, but the advice of get good actually applies here. A half decent Survivor can loop a billy and counter dodge his "insta-down".
My guess is you have not put in enough time to play against a Billy well and instead of learning like half the people in this discussion, you just want him nerfed. -
So punish the Killer for playing correctly? You should sign up for the dev team with A1 ideas like this little beauty.

Use Discordance.Seriously, whenever a Survivor complains about NOED, people are telling him to cleanse the Totems (which is correct) and to run Small Game.
And now Discordance, which would be the Counter to Prove Thyself, is ignored?
Survivors are able to REMOVE NOED, by cleansing the totem.
Discordance is a band aid at best because it only removes one Survivor out of four from a gen rush. Plus all Survivors can just split up, making the perk worthless. And if all Survivors Split up, that would make Prove Thyself worthless...
People will probably not run it for a longer period.
It does not make it worthless because if one Survivor is looping the Killer, the other three can go back to gens. I agree that people might not use it enough to be meta, I am just annoyed that instead of fixing how quick games go by, they throw another band aid at this issue.

Why can't Killers just get the kill?
You already won the game, just let the last survivor get there pity points.
No. The game is still on going, a Killer can turn a 3k into a 4k. Why should a Killer give up the last kill just out of "pity"?
