I got this today...What does it mean
This kind of surprised me when it let out a super loud audio cue into my ear with this on.

It means you received a gift, and your account has been awarded 50,000 BP and 1,000 shards.
#Helping
How long has it been since you logged in? Did you participate in any event/contest organized by BHVR?
someone sent you a gift, i didnt know you could do this on DBD.
I too. But I didn't get 50000bp. Only shards
I just got it too, came to the forums to see if anyone else had said anything about it. Last I played DBD was yesterday, so it's most definitely not from ages ago.
Woah... I've never seen that before.
Well now i have to see if i got anything
Would be kinda neat if they were trying out daily login rewards or something.
Doesn't sound like that, but still.
a friend of mine from ps4 got it, I came to pc and it's here too, another friend says it's on mobile too
I got the same message as OP, but nothing was actually added to my account.
Hmm i havent been on today is it a pc exclusive thing? I play mainly on console so ill see if i get it.
My sister got a notification when she startet up the game:
You received a gift of 50k BP and 1K Shards
But it did not say where it came from, or why - and we have no idea?
Is there an option to gift points to other players or what is this?!
Does anyone know?
Thank you for letting us know, we are looking into it.
You got...
Welcome :D
I got the exact same message
I didn't get it here, that is rather strange and odd. Are they testing something?
Oh hey me and my friends all got this today as well! But we didnt receive the bloodpoints lol
As whoever gave me the gift, i decided to gift myself a gifting skin for legion a bit too early, season's greetings....
Nothing for me on Xbox 😭
BHVR must not like me cuz I didn't get squat
So you either get BP , SHards or Both .... or just a bamboozle of nothing
When I loaded up the game, it told me that i recieved a gift of 50,000 bloodpoints and 1,000 Iridescent shards. I tried reloading my game and I still have yet to recieve them.
I got the same thing just now. Really nice surprise.
I logged in about 15 minutes ago to a popup message from the devs saying they were giving me 50k bloodpoints along with 1000 auric cels, under the header "Gift", with no further explanation, neither actually went into my account. Can anyone explain?
Thanks
Where'd you get that from?
Guess that means I won't get gifts then because I've had my fair share of "Reportable Actions" as a Killer XD
(Listen, when I see another Survivor after downing one, I am going to slug the other one.)
How do you play dbd and not get reports if you play as killer? 😂
You got trolled it's not auric cells nor 50k bp
scan your stats
It will be alright by me if you dont fix it. I cant play today
I'm sorry for it being german but I'm gonna translate it for you guys.
you received a gift
Your account has received the following ( for both of them)
I don't really know why I got this so can please someone tell me? Btw I didn't even get the blood points.
Where can I do that?
Is it possible this is one of the gifts we might be getting for the 4th Year Anniversay?
Hey a update: It's just a visual error, you aren't meant to get anything. It shouldn't be showing on PC/console.
I received a "gift". Picture says all. What caused this popup? Nothing actually changed about my account.
Would be nice and cost Bhvr nothing if they just gave it to us...
"Here's free stuff!"
"Just kidding, that was a glitch, you get nothing! LOL"
Hey y'all. Just to clarify real quick, this message was only meant for mobile. People on PC and console should not have seen this message at all, and you won't actually receive the rewards. We're investigating what caused it to show up on all platforms right now. Sorry for the confusion!
but..
but...
but i want gifts too D:
Now i feel happy not seeing it lol. Thanks for the clarity though
I also got it (Xbox player) but only got 50k bp
Nevermind, realized this was a necro thread
Exactly. People report anyone for any reason. Even BHVR couldn't possibly be dumb enough to use that as a metric.
So everyone did get the gifts (BPS at least). However the "gifts" seemed to be varied. Some people got 100k BPS with no shards. Some people got 50k BPS with no shards (such as myself and others). And now there are people who are getting 50k BPS with 1k shards. Seems odd that there is just a varying degree.
Nah, we actually got the rewards. It's a bit late now. Most of us have spent them.
Better leave them there too - this is your mistake, not our problem.
Happened to me as well, though I didn't get any shards.
how do you play dbd in general without getting reports? I feel like whatever you do there is always at least 1 guy pissed at you in that match
true. And actually, why dont we deserve those gifts like mobile? arent we the players who helped making DbD even big and ported on mobile in the first place? Old school players should get gifts aswell for honor and loyality
how is it a visual error when I can actually spend it for stuff?
