Blendete players at high ranks usually abuse the broken sounds with IW to do plays that shouldn't be possible.
Don't get me wrong, i respect good claudettes, but blendette with IW is just cheap.

Ormond is tied 8th in size with 5 other maps (there are 17 map sizes between 35 maps) it's not even close to being on the bigger side of maps.
Well, it's shape and the possibility of spawning more than 6(!) jungle gyms plus main building plus shack makes up for a few squaremetres of corn on rotten fields.

They should just remove time bans all together because PC killers be lag switching and cheating a lot more than console killers. But console killers are all butthurt from PC survivors so they have a mori on them 90% of the time.
No?

I think it's quite easy to re-add some blue/green/red/yellow fog on each realm to give it back some character.

They might be annoying and their opinions might be very questionable, but they're allowed to have their opinions. If someone is crying for nurse to be nerfed, despite how stupid that is they are allowed to think like that.
Btw, the dev's don't listen to the community anyways so most killers they complain about aren't even gonna get nerfed.
It's depressing, but true.
OoO totally fine guys.
-
Sometimes it's better not to bother. But different opinions exist and that's good.
On some topics the facts are pretty clear tho. That are the ones where i usually drop he discussion.
-
Yo, is my brain humongous, if i don't use any totem perks in a totem meta?
I definitly agree, you have to watch the effect of some perks closely to discovery "hidden" effects.
-
As killer maybe like a 7 and as survivor a 6.
I'm a big dumb dumb sometimes so the numbers variate.

Potentially that one, but i don't know BECAUSE I DON'T FIND THEM!!!

Nurse gets another blink charge, but her blink attacks don't count as basic attacks anymore.
Nurse looses a blink charge, but gets 110%.
-
I did it on kate. I got about 60 purple beamers and 25 4th anniversaire medkits and flashlights.
-
I love to play fair. Even if the survivors are toxic at the end, i still feel good, because i played in a fun way for myself.

You would be surprised how many people just autopilot on gens. It also works pretty good on oni. He's also leaving elephant footsteps.

Nah, i prefer stealth and info perks.

I agree to a degree about distance but also completely disagree against the nurse.
DH for distance can give you to pallets you might not other wise but so can sprint burst and lithe.
Also DH for distance mostly from my experience is an issue with pallet city spawns where the minor distance gain can get you to a pallet no matter what but that's more of an issue with pallet cities existing to begin with.
Without a pallet city DH tends not to give you that many pallets reliably from my experience but that's inherently subjective so you could be right.
Anyways with the nurse its just DH just counters her for distance or just I-frames as its more a sudden jolt and I-frames then the distance gained itself as nurses need accurate blinks and any sudden movement can cause them to lose hits.
I think many unsafe pallets instead of a few safe pallets are good for engaging gameplay. So DH will stay a problem, if maps get redesigned in a good way.
And i said nothing but DH being easy to use and also countering nurse, so we got the same opinion on that one.

@MrLimonka said:
Dead hard for distance is the only reasonable way of using the perk. The original use of the perk just doesn't work because of dedicated servers.
Besides, I have no idea why dead hard gets the most complaints, while it's Sprint Burst that is a much better exhaustion perk....
The main reason no one really complains about SB is, that it takes skill and exhaustion management to be more efficent than DH.
DH is "Press E to outplay".
-
@Warcrafter4 said:
Being honest I have never really seen a proper argument against Dead Hard in terms of balance.
It is however incredibly annoying for both sides given its glitchyness and tendancy of coming out of no where without always having a proper animation.
(dead hard for distance working as a second chance when the killer outplays you useable even against the strongest killers like nurse)
No, totally no arguments, especially because you can't just stack second chance perks like jenga.
-
@dspaceman20 said:
Dead hard does have a downside to running it. You have to be injured to be able to use it, which is not a favorable position to be in.
Well, good survivors don't give a crap about anything until they're injured so...

Well Scott Jund is a killer main and he thinks its a good thing.
And Otz and scott seem to both agree that spirit needs more counterplay. (and its not only them)
So its more like instead of "almost everybody" its more like 'people with empathy'
I just throw in that scott got some weird opinions sometimes.
-
If you're a retired nurse main you should know that survivors that don't autopilot are the most difficult ones to catch as nurse.
And no, currently the game is breaking her and not the other way round.

Yeah the synergy with unbreakable is kinda BS.
I just want to play a bit. And as a player that is still working on the loops, I can be put out of a game fast if killer decides to use that tactic against me.
I myself rarely get to use it, because I prefer to heal up with a fast medkit. So it really only works for me in the truest sense of tunneling.
As a killer I don't seem to get hit with it very often, lucky maybe ,my play style probably helps there as well.
I will concede it does boost you. A DS/UB build is going to help you pip up. Maybe at least 2 or 3 ranks. But that could also be because you get a little more time to play.
As a survivor i rarely get use out of it, and as killer i get DSed pretty often, most times by random people working on a gen. It gets really annoying if it just works as anti-momentum.
-
@Clevite said:
Yeah the match making sucks!
But unfortunately smal pp build has become necessary.
If there is no obsession, your team just gets straight tunneled out of the game.
You have to make sure an obsession is in the game to at least make the killer respect it a little bit.
So DS has become necessary. Unbreakable in addition is just like: "Well screw it i wanna win that one."
-
I personally think they are trying to do a few small exclusives, but no big ones like event or rift exclusives anymore.
-
It's ormond btw not ormand, why is there the letter A it bothers me.

@xenotimebong said:
Because Haddonfield is currently bugged so that there are impassable bushes in the gaps in fences, making many of the fences insanely strong window loops that cannot be mindgamed.
This. If a survivor knows that there is at least one infinite on that map. So yeah, i use my dcs currently for haddonfield.

This is on Almos Profile:
"We're aware of bugs in Nurse gameplay. They're on the list, we're working through it and fixing stuff as we can. The base kit rework is something we're happy with at the moment. When I play Nurse and miss a double blink and then can't again for a bit to get the second charge, it feels like the Survivor deserves that extra space. This doesn't mean it won't get further tuning, but it's unlikely we'd remove the charge system."
I mean, you can still doubt it. But I can only tell what I have seen written.

Its totally fine if Killers are complex and strong. Blight is an example, Huntress as well, even tho, she is not super-strong or compareable to Freddy or Spirit. Freddy on the other hand is strong and not complex at all.
But Nurse is over the top, because she ignores everything the Survivor has as defense. And like I said in my other post, she would not be released today and thinking that the concept of Nurse is fine, is simply not correct. Like, back in the days when Nurse got released, they had Infinites, no Window Blockers, way more Pallets, perma-sabotaged Hooks and all the stuff which got removed. So people who brought in this broken stuff also brought in Nurse.
It's been almost a year with two deadzones fixes. Nah.

There are not many really good Nurses in the game, but those who are, basically dont lose. And there is nothing easier than winning against a bad Nurse. Good Nurses also dont swing, which gives them a longer fatique, so the distance gained against a good Nurse is worse than against a bad Nurse.
Before her Rework, it was possible to compensate the lack of skill with Nurse by using more Blinks and/or Range Add-Ons, also one of the reasons why you saw more Nurse-Players.
But as I said before, highly unlikely that the number of good Nurses will increase, because a) she still has Bugs (which are known and being worked on) and b) there is not really a point in learning her, when you dont need her to win games. You can basically 4K with every Killer, and Killers like Spirit or Freddy are far easier to pick up with similar results.
I got a slight little correction: i doubt they are working on the fixes for all the nurse bugs.
-
Difficult. Probably nurse with M&A, Nurse's Calling, BBQ and Sloppy/I'm all ears.
I'm enjoying slinger more because of the countless nurse bugs tho.
-
Well, without bringing whatabouthism into this thread, there are far more overpowered things in DBD than current nurse. If those not specified things don't get fixed, why should nurse?
-
I did it with adrenaline vial.
-
They should simply adjust the exhaustion time for some exhaustion perks. "Lithe" gets 40 seconds. "Dead Hard" gets 80 seconds.
-
Weird that i loose my matches even with really good chases. It's just like the game favors one side the better the players get, but that's not possible right? Right?
I don't like this combo too, but i understand why it exists.
-
Object of Obsession. The worst part of that is that the devs as a team officially stated, that they don't understand why that perk is insanely busted. Although there are a crapton of arguments to rework the perk.
Honestly bad word you for that one devs. Bad bad bad word you.
Pls don't ban me i love you i'm just upset.

Some flashlight addons are redundant, but chad flashlights (purple fl+ odd buld+ intense halogen) are a little bit over the top considering that they can blind you for almost 5 secs if my math is correct.
Flashlight just like moris need a thread alone, but i am quite scared they would end up gutting them as they did with billy.
Accuracy addons on FLs are useless and one hinders you if i remember correctly. Anyway, it's off topic ur right.
-
I agree. As well as flashlight addons for example.

Haven't been winning much games lately, running hex ruin and hex undying but they're more or less useless most games. What happens usually is : i find a survivor, chase him for a normal amount of time, catch him and put him on a hook. Great, while I was doing that 3 gens have been done and my game is lost. I'm not the best killer but I feel like unless I catch a survivor in 10 seconds, I literally don't have time to prevent gens from being done. Any advice ?
Is this some weird copy of r/bad_cop_no_donut ?

It's a pretty braindead comp. It works against bad survivors and gets rekt by good ones. On top of that they nerfed PGTW and removed the totem meta's only contender.
-
People that not try to be as time as they can with PH tend to do stupid things with trails of torment.
-
They created an infinite on haddonfield in the last update. Not an annoying window like old ironworks. An actually infinite. I actually dc hafdonfield rn.
Ormond needs a few small tweaks and it's a good map, survivor favored tho, but that's fine. They added nice, snowy footsteps, pretty fun.
Midwich is BS for both sides, entire rework please.
Autohaven maps got a few small buffs, please give them tweaks that remove deadzones, but at the same time remove the new god windows.
Asylum is busted. An insane main building with huge deadzones around it. Make the map considerably smaller and weaken the main building, GG.

It's intended. They work as "fun" addons, that actually make your match miserable, because you get teabagged all day. Same goes for half of the survivor addons like precision on flashlights.
