Whispers is my perk addiction... I have it or working on getting it on all of my killers
"Whispers" is such a good perk if you know how to utilize the information you get.
-
It's not much but it's honestly work!
Seriously, the devs just basically deleted those challenges because they couldnt find the bug lol.
-
They could've set the range to unlimited at T3. But no, they has to nerf legion for some reason.
I used the perk occasionally, but now i probably drop it for whispers anytime.
-
He screams now. I can't stand that. It sounds dumb and removes any mindgame from his chainsaw.
-
It takes some time, but it's definitly achieveable. I got smartface and megface already.
-
Anti-heal as killer, head on as survivor.

Codes are still available, go my charm, thanks!

You need 4 Survivors for 1 Killer, if they make the same amount of challenges for both sides it will lead to massive queues for Killers because people wouldnt finish them as fast as they do now and keep playing Killer, it already happened in the first tome. Thats also the reason why Survivor challenges are slower to get and farmier.
Where you see bias I see developers actually improving one of the mistakes they made with challenges at the beggining.
This.
-
SF+Enduring, BBQ, PGTW/Ruin/Bamboozle/Thana
-
If i kill no one i made a crapload of mistakes most time.
-
"Surge" is okay. But definitly not on a level with ruin.

If this Solo match answers your question for you, wonderful.
”I think we’ve done a pretty good job so far” against them

I see nothing wrong with using them, and I don’t mind them used against me.
If that puts me in the minority, so be it.
I refuse to join the complaint squad on everything that presents a decent challenge in this game.
Okay then.

Dev said literally few day ago object stays as is.
They said it doesn't need a nerf because of the low escape rate. So just let all OoO users escape from now on.

Object of Obsession:
- After getting unhooked you will see the Killers Aura for the next 30/35/40 seconds.
- If the Survivor who unhooked you is within a 16 metre radius from your location he will see the Killers Aura as well for that duration.
- During that time, the Killer will see your Aura intermittently.
- Increases the chances of becoming the Killers Obsession.
Good idea m8!

No... not really lol. Been playing since 2014 and you can’t buy power and you can get all frames and weapons pretty easily lol.
That's with all eidolon items? Or the fortuna crapload of things? Or railjack missions?

If they are a god looper, you're not getting them with or without OoO
But with OoO i got an actually reason to davor the chase with them.
-
@iZombie said:
How often do you actually see OoO? I rarely see it any of my games. I’ve probably gone against it 5 times and each time the survivor using it has been absolute garbage. I just don’t see why it’s being talked about so much...
I see it about once per day, mostly used by SWF players, most times the OoO user is a god looper.

No, that’ll just get Corrupt nerfed somehow
True lol.

Yeah... gonna have to disagree with you there then... you can get pretty much everything for free.
Yeah if you play it as a full time job.
-
Tunneling is boring for me.
-
She's a good killer, but got the same problem as trapper: RNG.
-
T2 lunge is the standard lunge, just as @Zeus already said.
But got a 15% increased vault speed, just if you wanted to know.
-
I'm just gonna drop some love here. Bye! <3
-
It depends. Sometimes i kill all four. Sometimes i don't. Sometimes i also get rekt of course.
I choose the survivor i let escape, if i choose to do so, everytime during the match if he/she does something uncommon/odd/funny. Reward diversity!

I don't know exactly, but I don't think so. It wouldn't make any sense, at least
The devs never released an official statement regarding this topic. I asked the same question some time ago.

Personally, I don't think so. Compared to other exhaustion perks, it's more reactive and requires a bit more skill to use. Yes, I know, pressing E doesn't sound like skill, but every game mechanic in every game could be boiled down in the same manner. Not saying you were going to be pedantic about it, but cutting off that route just in case.
In any case, making active use of the i-frames requires timing, which is something the player must have as a skill set of their own. If you have ever played a character action game like DMC or Bayonetta, it will be an extremely familiar concept. Perfect, last second timing to get the most use out of an action. I personally LOVE these kinds of mechanics. That's where I think DH is actually not only a good perk, but pretty awesome: It challenged the players SICK STYLISH SKILLS.
Using it to get a booty boost towards a window or pallet, however, is an entirely different thing. I agree that, in some regards, it can seem like an "oops I pooped myself" perk that gives the Survivor another chance to not poop themself. Mind you, I think other perks do that much more and in spades, and are more deserving of a nerf-bat (*COUGH GRUMBLE BRAP* Decisive Strike *RUMBLE FART BAZINGA*). On the other hand, blowing ones Exhaustion load to gain a meter or two in a chase can be a big risk, and I kind of like the idea of a perk doing just that. PERHAPS, MAYBE, if the two weren't the same perk, it would be less of an issue. Still, I simply don't see DH as being even remotely as busted a bajillion other perks. It requires good timing, game sense, planning, good reactions, and a Style Meter that tells you how sick you are because you dodged the bosses attack and got to use a taunt on them before... oh wait wrong game. You get what I mean, though.
The problem is dead hard for distance, i also like the other aspects of the perk, i use it myself for that reason. Also the stacking with other second chances is problematic, but that's a whole different topic.

I’m... not sure if you’re trying to call Warframe pay to win or actually meant to spell it as “play to win,” which would be weird...
I meant pay to win, but my autocorrection is pepega.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/200902/object-of-obsession-how-would-you-rework-it
I'd make it so that instead of being able to see each other you get some kind of benefit while being chased.
I.E
- While being chased by the killer, other survivors repair generators at a 3/4/5% bonus speed and you move at a 1/2/3% bonus movement speed. Every time you are hooked the killer gains a 1/2/3% movement speed buff and you gain a 1/2/3% movement speed buff, Increases your chances of being the obsession. Gives some kind of notification to the killer to let them know you are the "object of obsession"
Basically makes it so when you get chased everyone else gets buffed and the killer has the same movement speed bonus as you. But has a risk because if you get downed and hooked easily the killer gets buffed.
Tweak the numbers a bit.
That's a good idea!

If you plan to regress gens then regress them. Also I so agree DS needs a rework im not an idiot. I'm just saying you can get to anywhere on the map in 30 seconds as killer
You can get at most places as killer in 30 seconds. But that was never my point. Sometimes it's not optimal to instantly go for the gen.

Fun fact: You can edit the gamefiles and play as anything you want. Its called hacking.
Did you ever saw a locker vaulting a window? It's hilarous!

Last year it was two halloween excluaives, now it's one random skin.
Don't be greedy, that's what we called BHVR out for in the first place.

That's enough to satisfy (former) nurse mains like me, that's true. No idea why they think she needs a buff lol.
-
Fun fact: You can edit the game files and actually play as hook.
-
They heard the complaints and gave us iri shards. I'm pretty happy, because you don't need to spend them on the event skins. It's free real estate bois and gurls.
-
Maybe it's not the players, more your general attitude towards the game. Every new player lives through several stages. Vets are in the last stage.

After playing through all the BS this game had when it first started I think I'm in for the long haul
Story of my said life. You got me BHVR, except you nerf nurse and "Mettle of Man" again.
-
@APoipleTurtle said:
I'd just like to point out that someone else brought up concerns over that exact same chart about a week ago.
The "last 30 days" that it was covering were late September to early October 2020. You know what was happening during those four weeks in DbD? Nothing at all.
It's the downtime between the end of a Rift and the usual starting period for the Halloween event. It's a pretty normal time for a lot of players to be taking a break from DbD between big things (even if the current event didn't pan out as nicely as everyone hoped).
There's also other big games that released recently which may be pulling players away for the time being, like Crash Bandicoot 4, Star Wars Squadrons, Doom Eternal, and Amnesia: Rebirth. Plus the massive surge in popularity of Fall Guys and Among Us (maybe even Phasmophobia too).
It's a decently large loss of concurrent players for sure, but probably nothing to worry about (so long as this nonsense with accidentally breaking the various ports of the game doesn't continue). It's certainly nothing like Anthem faced: losing over half of it's active playerbase within a couple months of it's own launch.
This. The numbers didn't went up when the event started, because they released a pretty bad event, listening to the opinion if many players.
-
Welp, that's why i stopped watching streamers that gave out dwightcrow codes. Just show them that you don't appreciate it by using the numbers.

Fixing it from a technical standpoint isn't buffing the perk in any means
We'll see about that. If they simply bump up the invincibility time it's a buff, but if they actually fix the perk so it works as intended for both sides it's a fix.

Ds dosent need a timer shortening, it needs a rework tbh.
pop is still just as strong, 15 seconds dosent really make a diffrence. I've been using pop on tier 2 (50seconds) for weeks before the nerf and havent had an issue.
Ik that the pop nerf was unnecessary, but the perk is still very powerful
It's still very powerful, especially on killers with map control, but killers like trapper and bubba are suffering the most. :(

You say this is the least expensive online game you've played, but I personally know people who have spent over $2,000 on this game.
I honestly don't know how this is the least expensive game you played to be honest. It's a pay to play game that has a free to play monetization model. I've played free to play games I haven't spent a single penny on and still enjoyed most immensely and monetized less hard than this game.
Hell, even the mobile version of DBD is free to play and does stuff better than the main game in my opinion because it's y'know, free to play.
How this game can run 60 fps on minimum spec phones just fine, but struggles to reach even 15 fps on average on a PS4, I'll never know. Funny how the mobile version of the game is handled by a completely different team than the actual version of the game. Does make one wonder. Either way, something is seriously wrong with this game though and the devs are either inept at their jobs, or have woefully ignored the performance problems the game has for far too long.
If you ever played the game at 15 fps by the way with constant microstuttering while having performance problems for the past 3 years that have constantly been ignored despite your begging to the company, you will quickly understand why a lot of people are angry. While I don't play on PS4 (am PC), I know the woes of low and uneven framerate from having to play on below minimum requirements for many games for a good long time and it can seriously kill any and all enjoyment from a game and is even more frustrating when the problem could be fixed but the company running the game just chooses not to for 3 years and even more obnoxious when they promised to fix it over two years ago and the problems still continue to get worse.
I play DBD since 2016 and i spent around 100$ on it. I won half of the DLCs with a bet and bought most original chapters with iri shards tho.

No worries they'll buff DH soon and probably update the perk description too.

Ehm when you use pop is your choise
How much you get tunneled isn't
If you're going to compare atleast make them simular outside of they used to have the same cooldown
@Komodo16 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1703464#Comment_1703464
The difference is being tunneled relies on both sides.skill or luck. If the killwr tunneled you off hook without pallets you're dead or if you had like 5 extra seconds you can still loop and ive done that past the timer and then screwed myself over because I get downed as it ends. Pop is soley up to the killer as a frequent user of pop I can say I only need 30 seconds or less to use it. If you take longer idk what youre doing. You should never strive for being tunneled and shouldnt strive to not kick gens
.
Oh so it's my choice which gen the survivors are repairing? On mothers dwelling or rotten fields?
Nah guys, the comparison is still pretty good. With old pop you could injure a survivor before kicking a gen. With new pop you have to go instantly to the gen or you loose it due to the shorter timer.
With current DS you can go repairing a gen at the other side of the map and still stun the killer after he chased and hooked another survivor.
Both perks would've needed a timer shortening, but only one perk got it.

That’s the point of FF. It forces survivors that would otherwise not heal to be mending instead. I.e. survivors avoiding healing to save time are forced to waste time doing a healing type action anyway.
Yeah but mending is fast.
