Exactly, even though I know I'm screwed I stay for those precious BP. With Legion I know I'm getting a long chase and those chase points add up, if you DC you lose all your hard work and miss out like an entitled dumbass who doesn't care about anyone but yourself.
-
Offerings for totems would be awesome, more totems, fake Hex totems(but they have to do something or it would be worthless), a lesser effect totem etc. Hell more totem offerings would go great with NOED because once they get 5 totems they'll think it's over but then ''wait there's more!''
-
I'm excited for the Freddy rework, I don't know how they'll re-release him though. Will we get a seperate PTB for him, will it be with the new killer, will we even get to test out the new changes? No one respects Freddy right now so it'll be great if he actually puts fear into the Survivors again, hell making a Fear mechanic similar to Doc's Insanity would be cool too.
-
I have the same problem, it sucks. I don't always have time to play Killer so I play Survivor and now the que times take so long I could have played Killer if I had known that I had the time.

So I know this feeling and it hurts, I don't like camping, it makes me feel uncomfortable but I do patrol to see if anyone is nearby. I usually run BBQ or Devour to incentivize me to walk away from the hook and get rewarded, though sometimes the Survivors are like yours and you can't leave quick enough to get out of range.I use those altruistic Survivors against them, if they start swarming the hooks, SLUG them. Don't hook them just SLUG 'em. Punish them for being greedy and stupid, Leatherface is great for this of course because of the snowball potential.
I think you'd get a kick out of Basement builds man I really do. Use Leatherface, Trapper, or Hag and only put people in the Basement. Their Altruism will be their undoing, use Insidious if you're having a really bad day. Start the match by running directly to the Basement and wait there the entire match, usually someone will eventually go down there for that sweet alluring chest and when they do you scream like a madman and swing that saw around and wait for the ensuing swarm of idiots.
So I've heard of basement builds, but I dont know anything about them. What is it, agitation and iron grip to get them down there, and insidious to lure others down there too?
Depends who and how you want to play. I like using Territorial Imperitive, Make Your Choice(this perks helps with judging the distance for Territitorial), Iron Grasp, and Agitation. This you can use on anyone. You can switch MYC with Mad Grit to help when Survivors know what you're doing and try to body block.
When I do Leatherface I bring in Bloodwarden to know when the exits are open, Bitter Murmur to see them, BBQ & Chili for points, and Insidious to wait in the Basement without them knowing. These are my Basement perks but Monto on Youtube has Trapper's Basement, Bubba's(Leatherface) Basement, Pogo's(Clown) Basement, and he has actual builds relating to those characters and they are deadly. Hag also has a good Basement game but I haven't quite gotten it down yet.
-
It can get strong but the Survivors still outnumber the killers, even MORE SO than normal. they'll rush through those Gens quick. Of course there will be more than 5 Gens but there are still more Survivors so you can count that every Gen being worked on will have 2-3 Survivors on it, any of them have Prove-Thyself or a toolbox and they'll fly through it. SWF could have several designated runners/loopers, Hell the Survivors have more strategy and chances just because of their numbers. Yeah the Killers can overpower the Survivors a lot more than in a normal match but so can the Survivors. TBH I think the 2 Killer mode is probably more fair than the normal game because it gives both sides more strategy and power.
A Hag and Trapper together will dominate, they can place traps over each other's traps. Hillbilly and Leatherface finally get to team up and show the saw truly is family with one protecting Gens and the other protecting the Basement. But that's still two Killers and 6-8 Survivors, each Killer STILL can only focus on 1 Survivor at a time so while 2 Survivors are being chased they still have 4-6 Survivors on Gens. I think this would be more fair than anormal game because both sides would have equal power.
-
I like this I had an idea just like this but yours has more effort, crafting the key instead of just finding it is cool. If you get caught you're screwed so don't get caught. The insanity is a nice touch as well

-
Yeah i'm getting 10 minute waits on console too, it's ridiculous.
-
I got 6 Bone Splinters on 1 Bloodweb during the Winter event, I own every character.
-
You want tips? He's not bad once you understand how to play him.
-
Oh yeah it's been going on a lot for me too but just today, ALL Wraiths of course. I hate that most campers play Leatherface and Wraith, it really makes those killers look bad and that's not cool. It takes the fun out of the game, knowing they're camping and that they will get tunneled, mightas well let them die and do Gens, that's not fun, there's no terror, just disappointment.

If I'm playing trapper, I'll just make a minefield of traps around the hatch and watch. If the survivor approaches, I'll just walk toward them slowly to build tension
I did this twice and one time it was perfect. I managed to use all my damn traps around the Hatch and honestly was surprised I managed to travel the whole map getting the traps and they didn't leave. I found out the Feng was watching me from the building above the Hatch, not sure for how long, when she finally did run towards the Hatch she STILL managed to step in a trap XD it was beautiful, I was surprised I won.
-
Yeah there was another post with a similar idea where each broken Hex had a smaller lingering effect after being destroyed. I think it's a good idea.Their idea had a certain effect for each totem while yours has it still in effect for 60 seconds afterwards. That's cool but I think it should just have a lesser permanent effect so you can still use the perk but not as powerful.
-
No, your complaint is empty. Event hooks are incredibly hard to reach because Survivors run to the edge of the damn map just so you can't get them to a hook, that's not fair and that's why these two perks exist, also why Mad Grit exists. We need these perks for ######### Survivors who only want to ruin other peoples' games. Also we need them for Basement builds

-
I think Insidious should get a completely NEW effect, get rid of the Terror Radius thing for something completely different, what that is could be anything so the debate on that could be anything.

I the best way to fix Unrelenting without creating the Machine Gun build is combine it with Save The Best For Last and keep all perentages as is. I made a thread about it, don't remember who commented on it so if you did my bad for bringing it up to you specifi8cally lol
-
I was getting the same feeling tbh, it's not powerful enough to be completely turned off like that and with all 5 tokens it's not a threat at all because you just need to pay attention.
I think it needs a stronger effect but just turning it into a normal perk and not a totem is probably enough, still weak but still there. I think it's only powerful against new players and if you have Unnerving Presence because it's smaller and no sound. And it not being active during Ruin is cool because then youhave two Gen perks and when the actual powerful one is gone you have this lesser effect in place.
-
I don't this would fix Freddy, granted he would exceptionally powerful with Surveillance and Discordance but I still don't think this would fix him. He is still slow during the transition and he still can't hit people when they are awake and it's too easy to wake up. On the flip side he would have more Gen control than any other killer, with the right add-ons maybe more than Hillbilly. Your Ultra-Rare add-on is cool though, I really want more killers that have add-ons like Myers has to kill people.
I have my own ideas on fixes/reworks for him but I won't post them here because it takes away from your idea. BTW, I love your hat add-ons

-
Ruin isn't that bad tbh, I'm on PS4, I love when Killers use Ruin, it's a challenge for me to get better and it's amazing to see that it really does nothing to slow down Gens. The skill checks aren't often and it's not too hard to get them. It's so fun to play against I actually get disappointed when Survivors destroy the totem, when I'm a Survivor. And my teammates waste so much time looking for the totem, that's what slows down the game, not the effect itself.
Maybe Ruin needs a quality of life update like other older perks have gotten lately? Maybe the Regression is 8% isntead of 5? I don't know.

It's supposed to be a horror game so I love going against a combination of 4 & 1, someone who is trying to kill you but also trying to make it scary, like a horror movie. Granted it's hard to do both, be scary and try to get the 4k but they are there and it's very entertaining when I find them. They're mostly Pigs I've noticed, they can play around with their power when they have the advantage and I love when they do that
I ran into a Myers who was using the Tombstone, I was so excited and I wanted to be Moried but they didn't, I think they thought I was a troll or something because they intentionally didn't Mori me, I was sad.
I've asked after most of my killer games how good as a horror killer I was. Even the trollish among them said I did good at horror, even stacking my perks so every time they did a generator they felt in danger without feeling cheap.
That feels good, I ask sometimes but usually don't since I'm on console and requires more effort.
-
So because the trophy is hard to get they should change Legion's power and therefore make it actually impossible to get the trophy since it doesn't correlate with the character anymore? It's not hard to get the trophy, the text is wrong but it's simple, use your FF to down someone, that's it, hit them enough times so they'll go down. Is it hard, kinda, not with Frank's Mixtape it isn't, not with Stab Wounds study.
You'd be better off asking for tips on how to play Legion so you can get better, instead of asking for something increibly difficult to suit your personal problems that will also effect everyone, less selfish that way.
-
We hit yoiu so if you do manage to free yourself before we get the prompt to p-ick you up you fall down. It's a safety thing because you can walk up to a Survivor and press the pick up button bu at that moment they free themselves and run off. So it's better to smack you and then pick you up just in case. Also I do it for points, not sure if it gives me any but I do it for that as well.
-
You can report them for that, 100% that's abusive language and they'll get banned. Was it console? You'll have to go through your console whether it's the Playstion services or the Xbox. I've been waiting for one of these guys to say that to me so I can do that to them.

my favourite killers is the spirit, hag, and shape, maybe legion (i've gotten three kills with each)
my favourite survivors are feng, nea, and meg.
i can't play killer as much as i want to though because my mom doesn't like it.
I know how that goes, headphones and a closed door is a necessity for this game as Killer. I work/live in a motel so I also don't get to play as Killer as much as I'd like.
Oh, that sucks. My mom just doesn't like it. It's so weird. Even if I get sick of playing survivor, my mom's always watching, and if i even click that "switch to killer" button, she'll complain. I had to do a daily ritual for Michael (which is where i got a four kill) to level up his level within four times. I set it up and she's complaining even though it gets me bloodpoints. Oh well.
That sucks, I had a step mom like that, no real way around it except wait for them to be gone or play at a friends house etc. Maybe you can communicate to her and explain it, some people can understand if you word it right while others just never get it and will judge you till the day you die.

Favorite Killers
Freddy---excited for that rework, got him to P2 and ready for that P3 when the reowkr gets here.
Trapper--don't play him much be has a special place in my heart.
Clown--he's so joyful, even when he gets pallet slammed in the face he's always laughing and it comforts me.
Spirit---truly terrifying killer besides Myers
Amanda/Pig---So sneaky and I LOVE being sneaky, also her traps are just so fun she's even my absolute fav Killer to go against.
Legion/Susie---Despite the drama going on I love Legion, so full of adrenaline and the playstyle i awesome, Bleedout mechanics is one of my fav mechanics in games so I was eccstatic when they came out. And Susie is bae
Fav Survivors
Nea and Detective Tapp ''Daddy''
I'm a solo Survivor so I enjoy being the sneaky Gen jockey but because of crap teammates I feel like I need to save people, and then I get killed for the trouble and left to die...great. When I'm not the Gen Jockey I'm the runner and I love running, I wan to run that Killer for as long as I can and hope my crappy teammates can get enough Gens done in time. In those cases I'm ok with dying, but I still hate my team because they usually suck, when they don't suck I am actually happy to run out alongside them.PSA--If you're a Sabo Ace, I'm leaving you to die because you might be that one Sabo Ace who I hate with a passion.
-
Everyone wants new game modes but they're always the same 2v8 or Solo/Ranked but I want actual new game modes. Star Wars has an Ewok Hunt where you survive until dawn against a horde of Ewoks. We need something fresh and scary like that ut obviously different.
Hardcore Mode--The original Ebony Mori where you can instakill on the first down.
Vigo's Research---bring back the husks from the Hallowed Blight event and the whole thing centers around getting enough vials and returning them to the lab as a Survivor. As Killer you collect the vials from Survivors before they return them so you can mutate and become more powerful.
VS Mode--this might be too out there but it's fresh. A whole new system and animations are made for the Killers and it's a final fight between two killers and whoever wins gets the only Survivor who is trying to complete Objectives as fast as possible so they can get out in time. Two seperate areas, one where the Killers are locked in and duke it out, slashing and kicking, and another seperate area with the lone Survivor doing Objectives and avoiding obstacles. As I said, probably a bit too much and would probably need it's own game but it would be cool. I got the idea from Freddy vs Jason.
-
So i'm not the only one, I think I made a thread like this too but it seems it's gotten worse since then. It feels bad when I get matched with a low level killer as Survivor and I hate getting matched with high level Survivors as Killer. The que times have been really slow, I wonder what's going on, not enough people playing?

A lot of Survivor outfits are silly/happy, as for Killers I'm pretty sure the ranger master Billy is as silly as it gets. I mean, we could get a silly/serious Killer. Like a killer baker who has a kkitchen knife and wears pink and a chef hat who has a glasgow smile. She could have silly/serious cosmetics. But pure silly for Killers would reinforce the toxic players who have no fear in a survival horror game and don't belong here.
-
Spirit, ghosts are the only things that really scare me so Spirit will probably give me a heart attack.
Everyone else I can run from or would be happy to see, whether they kill me or not.
-
As cool as this is it probably can't work since the Devs make bug fixes and changes to all of their maps, like totem fixes, hook fixes, Gens etc and might not be able to fix problems or add new features on your own custom map.
I think the only way to do it would be to create a custom mode where you can create map modifiers to create a custom map that you can save and use the custom mode for a lobby. It would be a normal lobby but it would go through custom mode then to the normal lobby after picking modifiers.
-
I would like an indoor version of Yamaoka Estate, I that at first we would get that, an indoor Japanese mansion with halls and sliding doors, suits of armor, etc, but then we got this mostly garden map. I thinking having a traditional indoor Japanese map would be cool.
-
Have you used it though?
I've used it and it's awesome, I love this add-on, right at the start of the game the hardest part is finding your first victim and this shows you EXACTLY where they are. If Discordance doesn't proc then this does.
You start the match by waiting a few seconds then FF towards the nearest Gen, during this time you look at all the Gens to see which one closest to you is being worked on. I've used this three times and dominated 3 times, the first one was on Red Forest which was surprising since I thought I would lose it being a huge map and only having one Duration add-on. But I was wrong, I love it and it goes great with Legion, no other Killer has a power that can activate this kind of ability besides Wraith and Legion, they can give it to Pig because she crouches, they can give it Myers but he has the mirrors so he doesn't need it. Spirit can use this because she uses her power to travel like Legion and Wraith. This is a great add-on and if every killer with abilities for travel had this add-on I don't think you should complain. But they don't so we should be happy that at least 2 people have it.
Unless you're complaining about originality and not usefulness.

I was watching Tru3Talent and his match must have had 4 stacks of Huntress Lullaby and when he want to a Jigsaw Box it wasn't effected. Why not? This is the only reason I use that totem on her and now I know it's been useless this whole time.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAwxPxQQvFc It's at 7:37Because otherwise if it did work on jigsaw boxes it would mean certain death because it would be almost impossible to take it off. The other option would be to look for the totem but with the reverse bear traps you might not have enough time.
Then something has to change for the sake of consistency. You can't just say "Oh, Nurse's Calling no longer works with Doc's power because we want to be consistent with what's considered healing." and then have a perk that screws with skill checks EXCEPT for one.
Nurses calling doesn't lead to certain death.
Technically it does, you get seen while healing, you get hit well you get hooked.
If you miss a skill check your timer goes down and you die.
You can heal without them seeing if you're not within their TR, you can also destroy the totem or pay attention and hit the skill check. Both lead to dying if you're paying attention or skilled.
-
Me I just start from the day I first played and add my average game hours to the number of days I played. so I got here in June and play maybe play 9 hours a day give or take, and times that by the days of each month since then.
Of course, if there is an easier way I also would like to know it.

It's a totem, it goes down just as fast as Ruin which usually goes down very fast. If it does stay up for that long though the skill checks would get hard but that's the point, it's supposed to be hard, it's supposed to ruin your game, it should kill you, that's why you run it and that's why it's a totem. Besides, your trap might not be active yet, you can search for the totem before getting it off and before yours is active. That's the smart thing to do. and tbh if HL gets all 5 tokens it's easy, it's only hard with the delay.
-
These are all really good perk reworks, your Vigil one is especially good because not only did you add the popular ''Exhaustion recovers while running'' but you also doubled the Exhaustion and didn't allow recovery in a chase which is exactly why people say it shouldn't recover while running. So great job fixing that one
Left Behind though still looks like it suffers because if you're the last Survivor you shouldn't be doing Gens. But then again the Killer could be camping the Hatch anticipating the Standoff so maybe it could work. TBH I've never used the perk so maybe it is useful?
I noticed Pop Goes The Weasel isn't on this list, I think that should be a token perk as well so you can decide when to use that 25% instead of being forced to use it within 30 seconds. That timer is really the only thing that hurts it and limits the choices Killers can make in a sudden chase.
-
I like the fresh look on his power, this makes it an actual dream instead of like sleep-walking. Slipping in and out is cool too because he could potentially hit you without using his power on you.
But his pallet breaking and window boarding, I think he should only be able to break pallets when they're down and if he breaks a pallet in the Dreamworld it is still there in the real world so it could be used again. That would, of course, suck that they can use the same pallet multiple times but he can still use his power to break the pallets which is faster than kicking it. But as for windows, I don't think he should do that, that's two things in his power that stop loops entirely and the community would cry out for nerfs on him again. Maybe instead of blocking the window he can move the window? Use his power on the window and it moves along the wall several meters? It isn't blocked just farther away, and it could go back to its normal position after a few seconds.

When I was maining him I could play Clown with no add-ons and my build was always for points so I used, Thrill of The Hunt, BBQ & Chili, Distressing, and usually Sloppy Butcher because it's fun to make them bleed everywhere/slows healing as well. Also, I feel Trapper doesn't ''need'' add-ons, of course, it helps to have more traps but you don't necessarily need them.
Trapper is one of two Killers I feel NEEDS Ruin for prep work (the other being Hag for the same reason), so without Add-Ons and if Ruin gets found early, you are in for a brutal match if you don't have any Add-Ons to carry more than one trap. Can definitely be done but it will be trickier.
Yeah, preparation time is Trapper's biggest problem so having something to distract Survivors until he's ready makes sense. Ruin and Huntress Lullaby together would be sufficient but then you need two other perks because those could eventually get taken down. Spirit Fury and Enduring for pallets could be all he really needs.
-
