Gather a list of known bugs and have it listed on the forums with their status (fixed, being worked on, need more information, etc) so that way people aren't all reporting something that's fixed internally and can still provide info for bugs that require it. It's also just super useful to have for people wondering if it's an known issue or something not discovered yet. Obviously not including bugs that can be exploited.
Release teasers/info to hype up new DLC well in advance, including perk releases/etc. Start with hints well before release leading to small things like perk descriptions, then eventually a spotlight on the upcoming chapter before it's released. It should be hyped up before, not after imo.
BUT stop having the new chapter in PTBs. PTB killer releases have killed hype so much. Instead offer closed beta for x amount of users, no streaming/YT clause, etc for bug fixes. I play both console and PC, and while I like being able to play the new chapters in the PTB myself I've noticed a LOT less hype on release within some community groups because it's all old news even for console players. They've seen it all in action for so long that they don't feel that "need to have it now!" urge upon release.

I'm hype because I can play instead of doing my job with this release, but then I'm already crying inside because I don't even want to think about grinding up characters/perks for a THIRD time.
Please make the grind at least a little faster by then, I will bake you cookies devs... I'll even make sure to put chocolate chips instead of raisins in the oatmeal ones,

-Community challenges like the 1st anniversary.
Completing daily challenges collectively between everyone on PC/Console rather than individual goals, it helps get people to work together rather than bring out the worst in some. Maybe have a big overall goal for a bigger/cooler reward (like being able to add the lantern effect from moonrise to a character of your choice) with smaller daily ones for more basic cosmetics. Make the challenges actually challenging but not impossible, and make it so as long as you played during the event at least once you get it if they're unlocked. If you haven't logged in during the event, you miss out, no option to buy them in the store. This gives some exclusivity to the rewards, but also isn't anything unfair like needing to play x amount of games per day since people do have lives as well. If BHVR really needs to add the items to the shop for that $$ make it a limited event item and it can't be purchased after it ends (until the following year's version of the even where you have a chance to snag it in the store).-Increased BPS spawns in bloodwebs or double BP (I'd ask for both but that will never happen)
-Use the event to add more lore (like hallowed blight) but also as a way to hype an upcoming chapter (daily hints in that lore towards either the killer/survivor/perks/etc)
-Add optional side objectives that give either a BP reward or Shards if an offering is burned, and only obtainable if you burned the offering (to avoid people leeching off what you brought while not contributing). I know Shards are unlikely, but even small amounts like 5-15 shards per objective (with only being able to get 1 objective per match).
These are my realistic event wishes. Unrealistic ones would be tossing in triple BP, new game modes, and all that but that would be way to many resources for something that's only up for a short time and we all know triple BP is never coming back

Honestly I'll run Thana before I run ruin. It's weaker but at least it lasts all match and has good synergy with other perks like Sloppy/Nurses/'I hate clowns-the Perk'.I can see why people run it, it's effective if you get a good totem spawn or have high mobility to protect it (or traps), but it's way more likely that it'll just spawn out in the open with nothing hiding it (looking at you Disturbed Ward totem spawns).

Pray to RNGesus and hope for them to show up in the Shrine of Secrets. Then unlock the perks with 2000 or 2700 shards.

When do I dodge? Red ping/unstable ping going from green to red.When do I DC? When UberEats arrives earlier than expected (even then I'll usually just AFK because I'm running to grab those bubble teas), or the extremely rare (like 3 times ever) times I end up with a survivor/killer who are legit buddies screwing everyone over. I'm not feeding them more illgotten points.
Whatever Map/Killer/Addons/Perks, it's fair game. Run whatever you want, I'm down for it. If I lose, I lose.

If you play smart you can easily deny him ever hitting EW3.
Most times they'll run it with Tuft of hair from what I've seen. Each of these addons increases the EW3 requirement by 200%. So stop sitting in the open feeding him, don't wait around pallets where he can easily stalk you, and hope your teammates aren't dumb enough to feed him either.
Plus add in the 9% movespeed decrease, and it's actually pretty damn balanced for being an ultra rare.

If it's immediately off hook, blame your teammates for unhooking with the killer right there (even worse, without running BT). If given the option between someone who will take 2 hits to down vs 1 hit, it's likely the killer will go for the easier option, especially if a few gens are already done with no one sacrificed yet. That's on your team for playing like jerks tbh.
If it's well after unhook but before healing, practice stealth (don't heal under/near hook unless you know it's 100% safe, head somewhere the killer won't be like a completed gen, etc). Also try out breakdown so you can see where the killer is and head the other direction.

Dwight was my first love so I still rock him until I get Jeff to all perks.
I like to play to have fun and meme around sometimes, Dwight is perfect for that. Plus he's obviously a QT. So even after I get Jeff to where I want him it'll probably be a 50/50 between those 2. -

The framerate has been garbage for so long that is why on PS4 we don't see as many nurses in the red ranks as PC does.
I legit have played maybe 6 nurses total (outside of KYF nights) in over 1k hours on PS4, so then I try playing her myself and the FPS issues make me so nauseous on both the ps4 slim and pro
It's kind of nice at the same time though. It's a pleasant change having actual killer variety when you play survivor beyond the Billy/Nurse meta on PC, it is one of the biggest benefits of playing console over PC imo.

Got it first try on PS4 around rank 6. Actually wasn't trying, just using up all the good addons/offerings before prestiging
Hopefully game bans finally being active on console will clear out some of the constant DCs and you'll have better luck in the future.
PS4 does need more killers though, insane survivor lobby waits vs instant killer lobbies at any rank is kinda bunk. Some of us just want to play both

Unpopular opinion, the first anniversary event was the best event ever done in DbD.
Community challenges that encouraged everyone to work together, triple BP to help the grind (which is way worse now with all the added DLC), cosmetic rewards that go to everyone playing instead of people missing out if they work or are away during the event, and the bonus map being added.
I loved the lore bits and the animations that came with Hallowed Blight (and the cosmetics were top notch), but really every event since that anniversary has been either killer or survivor sided leading to long queues for one or the other, has people being extra toxic either with DCs to prevent points, sandbagging to be able to steal someone elses etc.
Hallowed Blight and Moonrise both have some cool things, but they both have/had some major issues too.
Bring back community challenges to foster a positive event rather than pit everyone against eachother and bring out the worst in some players. -

I'm saying no based solely on the fact that the grind is already so slow for getting perks (especially with 6 new ones every few months). Adding another tier even for just some would make it so much worse.

Eh its poorly optimized but I still prefer console.
I started on PC near launch and it still runs great there but console is more chill.
No post game chat cuts toxicity by a ton, even playing ground since I prefer controller vs kb/m, and actual killer variety since nurse isn't playable on console due to fps issues and lack of sensitivity options on controller.
Plus my friends typically all have a ps4 vs the few that have a gaming rig.
It's a tradeoff, but it's really not all that bad imo. -

I go out of my way to catch those moris (I love the animations okay, don't judge me), and it's still so rare.
...Except LF, I get his almost daily for some reason.

OP eventually you'll get a group that don't rage quit over a mori (hey, stop laughing it can happen!). If you want to avoid the loading in DC after they see a secret offering, try throwing on Devour hope instead of a Mori.

Trash for using Myers ability ("because only trash players use 1 hit killers"). Apparently daring to pop EW3 twice in a match is a horrible sin.

Also that time I had a slew of racist slurs thrown at me for daring to use a horrible crutch perk such as Bitter Murmurs. This was before it was slightly buffed to be useful during the match... and they never even made it to end game to get it to proc.
