I want this so bad. I want to git gud as nurse on console (I know, big dreams) and this would be a huge help. Plus being able to learn new killers mechanics in a training zone might help reduce the "new killer sucks" spam since everyone has a chance to learn a bit more about the nuances.
Idle Dwights spread around the map to help the killer side would be a good addition too.

I'd prefer they're busy working on the game rather than be at the beck and call of any player who wants to message them instead of using the report feature that the ACMs are handling.
With how many people play this between PC and Console, if they responded to every comment/question (especially all the repeat ones) there would be no time left to actually work on the game

1. Detectives hunch is too similar. It would just be like a weaker version but I guess balanced out since it's any gen vs gens you complete. I don't see many people running it though.chemical_reject said:

Totems are pretty easy to find as is and even more so with detectives hunch,small game and maps. Plus they spawn in super obvious places 90% of the time Haha.
If anything maybe something like deja vu where you see 3 totems locations when you spawn into the match for x seconds and 1 totem aura is revealed anytime you cleanse one for x seconds. It'll still help getting them cleansed while keeping 1 survivor busy on something other than gens and without affecting teammates. -
This. The engine update is a pretty big deal so of course there will be unexpected bugs. I'm not surprised they sent it out for release because I've seen the outrage when deadlines aren't hit. Just look at the curtain call delay on PS4.
People are going to complain one way or another, but if they didn't send it out to hit their roadmaps timeline and everyones assumed date of December these forums (and all other social media) would be a shitshow.
They're obviously aware there are issues and doing what they can to fix them. I'm surprised a patch hit PS4 this close to the holidays but they made it happen. It doesn't fix everything but it shows they're still working on it.
Just keep reporting bugs you find on the bug report forums so they can properly track them/find out what causes them, and things will get better. -

Yes, unless you hate yourself.
Lack of actual controller sensitivity mixed with horrible FPS makes it even harder to learn than on PC.There are some with the dedication to actually go through the 9 circles of hell and sacrifice their first born to make her work for them, but it's very few and far between.

Jeff is likely the best artist, but that doesn't mean he's good with spraypaint.
Nea would probably be the best using that medium.Legion is just a gang of teens that get in trouble that goes too far, they probably don't have any actual skill.

Instead of making reset more often, they just need to make ranking up an actual accomplishment.
It's way too easy to pip as survivor as it is, and that's the real issue. BUT if you make it even a tiny challenge to pip people freak out because "I'm totally rank 1 material, it's the game that's unfair, not my lack of skills!".This game shouldn't even have ranking though tbh.

The trailer made it look like the killer is what people keep suggesting (disguised as a survivor, see how he's running with David and he has the false sense of safety as it's assumed to be another survivor), so I don't blame people being confused.
While it was a well made trailer as far as cinematics go, it has nothing to do with the actual content coming besides there being snow
super misleading as to what was presented as the killer, versus what the killer coming actually is/the power is. -
-Adding skillchecks to deep wound or letting NC affect it. His kit is all about the whole hit and move on to another making deep wound not a threat. As soon as he turns his attention away you can mend yourself and even though it counts down during mend it only counts down to 99%, no chance of really being found again and no skill checks to possibly fail makes that whole change useless.
-Making it not take 4 frenzy hits to down without addons. The only killer that takes more 'hits' to down than freddy
-Making progress reset on mending if they stop midway instead of needing another frenzy hit to restart the mend. If the killer finds you while mending, they'll just m1 you. The change they made was useless as only the worst killers will find someone mending and think using frenzy is the best option. Survivors should have some sense of urgency to mend, and if they stop mending they should have to start again the same way 'snap out of it' works. It's not a long interaction anyways, so why this wasn't implemented makes no sense to me.
-Not losing their full power charge on regular attacks. Sure having a full attack saved after m1 would be insane, but a full depletion just seems like punishment for not using their bad ability. If the ability itself is more of a hindrance than a help typically, why is the killer being punished for both using their power (all the flaws with frenzy hits) and for not using it. If anything make it drain to 50% of whatever they had charged if needed.

Please reconsider this mods. While we can't all agree on the forum, is it not better to just let someone hit a lol react rather than go through with actually typing out something toxic and causing more arguments that get ugly fast? Plus then we can see if our bad jokes are actually a hit or not. -

I'm still torn.
I've bought almost every DLC twice (Once on PC, once on ps4, freddy only once though before he got freddied) and gifted the game and some DLC a bunch.
This time around I'm tempted to just get Jeff with Shards, but I'm worried someone over at BHVR will decide "Hey wait a sec, maybe we should make this killer something people will actually play" and then I'll end up buying the DLC anyways because I like Jeff's slightly different shaded shirt better.
Plus discordance is actually good.
I just don't want to pad the numbers so some dude in a suit can just see people bought it and give the OK to keep Legion trash since money talks.
I need a magic 8 ball for this decision

The only important change is removing double stun, the rest isn't going to help him/her much.
Making DW count down while performing the mend action was a good start but they ruined it with the whole not going down past 99% while mending. It doesn't fix the issue that the killer is made to do the opposite of tunneling, so as soon as they turn their attention away the survivor can easily mend uninterrupted. Not being affected by NC and having no skill checks means that survivors can just find an okay hiding spot and mend without any worry of being stopped partway through, so the bar ticking down during it does nothing.
Progress being reset only on another frenzy attack instead of just anytime they mend -> stop partway through-> mend again also doesn't help either. If the killer finds them while they're mending they'll either m1 them, or hit them 1x in frenzy and chase backwards so the timer ticks down (if that 1 frenzy hit didn't down them). If the survivor escapes a 2nd chase still in the 1st time deep wound that was inflicted, well that's just a bad killer anyways.
I guess I should still give it a chance but, eh. Just let me have Jeff and be happy that 1/2 the DLC is good.

All perks are crutches to someone. I've had people rage about bitter murmurs in post game chat (Old one, that was end game auras only. The entity wouldn't give me any decent perks, don't judge me for my bad builds lol).
Also been raged at about a no mither build because faster gens. NO FREAKING MITHER.
If there is something that exists in this game, someone will eventually think it's broken.

Unpopular opinion. Both perks are fine.
Cleanse totems, eat the DS or use one of the easy ways out (pick them up near a ledge so they take a fall stun, dribble, get close enough but don't* down them until close enough to a hook, just eat it early game and down them again 10sec later).
