Regarding the new trailer

I already mentioned that I don't think much of the new trailer as what it shows couldn't be further from the actual gameplay that we're going to get with Legion.

What I do find hilarious is that I've already seen numerous people asking if that trailer shows the Killer releasing AFTER Legion. And no, they weren't joking, they were serious.

Pretty good advertising job there.

    yeah its misleading. frankly im sick of trailers like that portraying a killer how it isnt. or even close to the power of downing you like the killer did to david. but hey gotta promote it some how. but shady tactics like this. speaks for itself about the whole game anyway as we all know how it is lol.

    It's a cinematic. Of course it's not going to look anything like the gameplay.

    #########? Cinematic trailers have to be ultra realistic now?

    Guess they need to change the opening scene then. It's not realistic. It shows Claudette and Jake near a gen on a dark map, and the Trapper gets Claudette.

    We all know when you and claudette are on a gen on a dark map the killer sure as hell never spots Blendette first.

    The trailer made it look like the killer is what people keep suggesting (disguised as a survivor, see how he's running with David and he has the false sense of safety as it's assumed to be another survivor), so I don't blame people being confused.

    While it was a well made trailer as far as cinematics go, it has nothing to do with the actual content coming besides there being snow :lol: super misleading as to what was presented as the killer, versus what the killer coming actually is/the power is.

    Loved it.
    Anyone basing their thoughts on what the Killer can do on this trailer alone should go do research ASAP.

    Oh come on. The survivors can see the rest of the survivors before the match, and there's almost always one person that will not ready up making the lobby go as long as possible. 

    Unless the fog is thick, or something, mixing up Legion, or the Pig for another survivor will probably only work at a distance.

    It's too bad we can't get different  color cosmetics for her coat, so you can try to blend in better, haha

    They actually did the same for the Pig trailer. Dwight was in it instead of Tapp.

    They actually did the same for the Pig trailer. Dwight was in it instead of Tapp.

    yeah, it would make more sense to have tapp for pig and jeff for legion, but legions knife possibly would have broke on jeffs weight

    This isn't the first time a trailer hasn't displayed the power of the Killer. Not sure why it's suddenly a big deal now. We've got the Spotlight trailer to explain everything, like almost every other time.

    Its not that it doesn't show the killer's power that's the issue. Most of the Dbd trailers don't show the killer's power. Its that it makes it look like Legion has the ability to trick survivors into thinking he's a fellow survivor so he can get close and attack you.

    yeah missleading his power, freddy we knew in his reveal that it was sleep (we didn't expect his nerfs), spirit had the reveal, clowns was a sound notification

    I watched someone play as a survivor and they thought Legion was a survivor.

    Why are you so sure Legion is going to get survivor looking cosmetics?

    Nah, the terror radius will kick in long before legion gets close enough to fool someone. 

    Might get in frenzy range at best.

    Why did they make it look like the other survivor was the killer? They could of shown off a cool chase, which is what The Legion is all about.

    Like I already mentionned in another thread about the subject, the trailler and the name of the chapter seem to indicate that Legion in its early developping stage might have been a "killer hiding ammong survivor"
    Of course the proof are loose and the only way to really know would be to have the dev speak about it.

    At any rate, it's a deceptive trailer, which is what I have my gripe with.

    Legion is one big missed opportunity in so many ways, it's quite sad.

    They released it after so that people wouldn’t be mad when he came out.

    Yeah, while that idea would be much better, a killer that's made to look like a survivor can't have that be his only power. It would need a second power to compensate for the SWF because we've got to take everything into account. It would have to be viable because if that was it's only power then it would just be another M1 loop able killer
