Mike needs to be stealthy I wouldn't want any orange blight on him.
-
This was at the start of the match - we had just spotted a hex totem on top a hill.
-
I think the trapper needs a bit more blight on him generally.
-
Surely 'cankerfest' has put paid to the idea of secondary objectives...?
Eh, I guess so. The Cankers fail to tie into gens though so I don't count them as a real secondary objective. Besides, as you have made clear in numerous other posts, you cannot interact with them after you have all of your survivor serums.
No you are right and I am wrong. Cankers are side objectives which is different to secondary. Semantics...
-
I'm not good at making decisions, how about we just do a Wheel of Fortune with the ideas? KWF mode, SWF balance, Rank improvements, Leaderboards, new chapters, secondary objectives, new cosmetics, etc. Survivor buff can be the bankruptcy slot.

I think the more time you spend on a game the less right you have to complain.

Doesn't sound like a good fit to me.

I spend at least the same if not more bloodpoints on the survivor web to get the offerings than I actually get out of them. I don't want to be forced to level up the survivors to enjoy the bloodpoint portion of the event.
Really? – I have found this event pays handsomely.
Yeah, filling out an entire P3 level 50 web to get those offerings will cost me almost the same as what I actually get from using them. It's awful
I still find that strange. I can usually find between 1 and 3 offerings in a level 50 web. On balance I find that pays..I guess it depends on how many other people harvest.
-
WHY THEY NOT LET ME MILK MORE CANKERS! URGH.

Everyone seems to rate the Wraith cosmetic but I think he looks like a reindeer / Christmas decoration. Need to hang some baubles on those horns...
I think the Doctor and Huntress are best. Survivors not so good - especially 'E.T' Claudette with the glowing stomach.
The event is OK. I think it shows the game is more balanced than people think as the side objective has skewed it completely.
Extra bloodpoints are always welcome.
-
Everyone want to play killer because of event ?
Yes.
-
The costumes that you can literally buy? Ok buddy.
The whole selling point of the event is that you can get them for free. Again, I would like to achieve that.
-
i'm supposing you already filled your killer vial count, otherwise you are soon going to came back crying...
Killer lobbies on PS4 are fine at the moment. Can usually get a game going in a minute or so. As mentioned my problem is time to play.

And allow survivors to harvest nector for bp after 60 vials.
Cause I been sitting in this killer lobby for 10min...
Please spare a thought for poor time deprived survivors like myself. I have not even 30 vials yet between killer and survivor combined.
I like the fact that survivors who have already completed the event can no longer harvest. It gives me more of a chance to complete the objective.
Except survivor who finished don’t burn offerings (because most people are stupid), and you’re missing out on bloodpoints. Don’t be shortsighted buddy, this is one situation where it isn’t a fixed sum loss if others participate.
I am more interested in the costumes than the bloodpoints and I would like to achieve the objective.
Even if I am the only one that brings an offering that's still 3 cankers. The way it is set up at the moment gives time poor players a better opportunity to earn the costumes.

I think you need to think what the complaints are actually about, its has nothing to do with the grind and everything to do with the length of time to a queue for killer, 20-40 mins in a lobby waiting for a game to pop is waiting for a game longer than you actually play. But my understanding is that queue is caused because everyone want to play killer to get their 30 vials?
If it was only 15 as originally intended then not so much of a problem. -

Killer is so easy on PS4 at the moment - survivors go crazy for canker, sometimes they even stop during a chase to harvest one!
Then there is always at least one who lets the team down and suicides.I am zooming up the ranks way beyond where I should be - 2 pips nearly every time. I am going to be so stuffed when the event ends and everyone plays normally again.
Yeah that was 3 days ago on PC...now im getting pallet looped through gen rushes. Even IF they use enough petals for me to get my vial filled, half the time i cant even get enough hooks to do it. This game is a joke, its supposed to be like a horror game, but survivors arent even scared of killers, and just troll/loop/360/blind you into oblivion. And half the perks survivors get only make it worse.
Yikes - if it ends up getting like that I probably wont try for all my killer vials...

Survivors can just milk their cankers and kill themselves'Milk their cankers' made me chuckle.
But don't let them out the game so easily. I keep getting ones coming up to me and beckoning me to hit them. I just down them now and leave them lying there. Sometimes I even bring knockout as well for this purpose.
-
My first vial won't complete and I can no longer harvest canker. (also posted in but reports)

So I've noticed recently with the new patch notes that the main focus of our creators of DBD is to balance and elongate the game. So here's some suggestions to make the game not better but more..balanced. One of the things i've noticed is the time to hook a survivor has gone done by .5 secs. I think that if you want a more balanced gameplay making the wiggle time faster and bringing down the time would be increasingly more efficient and make the gameplay longer as ya'll have been trying to do. Now lastly, the killer totems really have no use, the survivors have the upper hand on those and it seems that they end up not being very useful. My suggestion would be to take the ability of the totem and put it on the survivor that destroys the totem. For example, Hex: Ruin, it makes it difficult to do generators, now that hex's ability is 2/3/4 Survivors are affected by Ruin, which causes the following: Good Skill Checks result in 5 % regression on the Generator Great Skill Checks grant 0 % bonus progression on the Generator. The Hex effects persist as long as the related Hex Totem is standing , take that and apply it to the survivor that destroys the hex, not only will it elongate the gameplay but it will make the hex's more useful and more efficient, And you'll get what y'all have been shooting for, a balanced gameplay.Never mind that do you have any complaints about the Hallowed Blight event? Do you feel disgusted, lied to, conned, miffed, mistreated or abused?
How many free mouldy killer outfits to give away is a fair number?
Will you be registering your discontent by only playing a teeny weeny little bit?
These are the hot topics of the day.

I would have been down with a blighted clown.

Who remembers when they gave a whole chapter away for free!
(stirs the pot....)
-
In some ways I think it would have been better if people didn't leak info about these events and just let them announce it when they want to.
People just end up speculating and build up heightened expectations that wont be met. -
I'm happy that the grind for the outfit is a short one. 3 pieces is fine great super. More interested in the extra bloodpoints which carries on for 2 weeks. No complaints!

With King Edward (big potato) being on sale, I decided to give him a try. He's actually quite fun to play...If you like chainsawing barrels, fences, kids' garden swings etc...
Which I do, so that's nice. BUT it turns out that chainsawing a Jake is almost as satisfying as putting a trap on his head.
Wait till you get 2 or more with one chainsaw - very satisfying...
-
Losing being fun – isnt this all a bit millennial / happy clappy?
Back in my day you spat the dirt out of your mouth and tried again...

I dont understand them. They are cool but such a scam, you cant even see them yourself in game. Why would i spend $10 on something other people can enjoy to look at in game but i cant?If you make yourself look more scary with a new outfit you will panic the survivors into making more mistakes. Its practically pay to win!
-
Just one mistake with killer can definitely ruin your game. I swung and missed at an injured survivor last night and couldn't get them again for over a minute.
Just that one mistake was enough to change the whole result of the match...talk about pressure... -

Kate is best but I quite like 'Night out Nea' from the Head case DLC - amazing what good make up can do!
-
I would say a life time ban minimum and possible actual jail time for this.
-
What are you going to play now? (just curious)
-
Had weird input issues with the nurse last night. Severe delays when attempting to hit or grab.
Also with Trapper whenever I hit someone caught in a trap they would be downed but would stay in the 'struggling in trap' animation. Which had the added benefit of confusing survivors who tried to free them!
-
I've still got some stashed away - I like the descriptions. Something about the moon smiling...
-
At that point the end game is so defined. Survivors open the gate before coming back for a rescue - they expect you to be camping.
Often times in that situation Ill just leave the guy hooked and head for the gate. Ill often catch someone but after that anything could happen. Still it makes it a bit more fun.
Also I also quite like the pathos if the guy who was hooked escapes and the guy who could have escaped gets caught. Maybe that's just me?
-
Yeah original and best
-
LF is probably the killer who mostly needs an AddOn rework. He inherited way too much from the Hillbilly, without considering the differences between their both powers.
Agreed. It gets tiring having to hold the button down when you are camping. He needs some add on's that helps with that.

When you use full tombstone make sure that you bring "Play with Your Food".
Really? Please elaborate. I thought that was useless??
Judith's Tombstone slows you down. The Mori doesn't count as an offensive action, last time I checked. Therefore "Play with Your Food" counters the speed penalty.
Very good. I wouldn't have thought of that. Thanks!

When I went for Evil Incarnate achievement, I just looked it up on some Steam or Reddit forum. Based on description it is not evident (although I guess we could have figured it out, it makes sense if you think about gameplay balance/fairness).
Good luck with the achievement tthough! It's a major pain in the ass. Thanks - unfortunately that was my only tuft of hair

So annoying as when I went to kill the second one they only had 1 gen done - I'm sure I could have done it...
