The BBQ party is over,As a PS4 owner I can’t try the new killer but the hype balloon is deflating in front of my eyes..,
Anything that sounds like a nurse or teleporting sets my PS4 frame rate alert ringing…
To be fair to Cote he was absolutely right. It’s a game to leave for a bit and come back to.
Onwards to Civilisation.... or maybe Sunless Sea - that just came out on PS4.The new killer is so fast that you will have a real bad time controling her with a controller I believe.
She wont even be strong on PC, but on console... yikesYep - surprisingly haven't seen any mention of this issue but I fear for her on console...
Its not an issue because PTB is PC only and no killer uses controller on PC for obvious reasons
I know. I didn't explain myself very well...

Man I can't wait for the resi 2 remake. I was expecting just a straight update but from what I've seen so far it looks like so much more than that.

Could be fun as part of a novelty 'exposed' build with
NOED, Make your Choice and Devour Hope. -

I don't think this perk is that strong.Maybe they'll buff it to both totems.
I definitely think it needs an extra something.
At the moment its basically like a phase of Michaels Evil Within 3 but with no control of when it starts. For one perk slot that's not a great return.
-
The only way I can understand this perk is as a prelude to some (unannounced) change to healing in the future.
-
I don't think this perk is that strong.

Even if you were camping so what?
-
The way I look at it– if a vengeful apparition armed with a katana wants to get their whammer's out who am I to argue?
-
What's wrong with being sexy?
-
Is there any synergy with Borrowed Time? I hope not.

I cant get my head around all the implications for Deliverance at the moment. I think there are a lot...

Autodidact looks a new kind of useless? Or am I missing something??

She needs Cosmetic, something that replace her flying hair lolI'm sure they have that covered.....

So for Ruin its obvious that a hex is active but for something like Huntress Lullaby its a lot more subtle and the notification is enough to make that perk not worth taking. If fact on PS4 you get the notification before someone is even hooked which I hope is a bug!
Also (correct me if I'm wrong) both Devour Hope and NOED send a notification to all players when the first person is downed. That's not right.
So yes OP I agree with your point 1. Maybe have it so that the notifications only appear in levels 20-15 which seem to be the unofficial 'training levels'.

I like Monitor and Abuse A LOT!
I use it on Michael, Hag, Trapper, Clown, Leatherdaddy and it helps them all.
-
Its quite funny at the moment. Sometime I whip it out and the killer quits the lobby. Obviously in fear of the unknown glowing object!
-
Wait I think Ive got it – if you get rid of the hatch the survivors would just hide so you need a better way of finding them?
-

Don't you see a big flaw if all of these ideas became real?
I must admit I'm struggling.....
-
I will continue to buy the DLC's but I think the cosmetics are overpriced so have not paid for any.
-
Lightweight should not work on David King.
-
I definitely lost BBQ offerings after recent killer disconnects (PS4)
-
Piggy doesn't need to go to market. She has all the tools she need's to do a pretty good job.

Myers is the most balanced killer IMO and one of the most fun. No changes needed.Agreed (except maybe a bit of tweaking to his perks)
What tweaks were you thinking?
I find Play with your Food a bit weak. Letting a survivor escape doesn't sit well with me in such a time pressured game.
Dying Light is sort of OK but I find it hard to justify taking it instead of other more powerful perks.

Good - but by yesterday I was glad it was all over.
-
Sweaty Kate's BBQ vest is nothing special...if I could gift you mine I would.
-
As a console player I pray there is no teleportation ability like Nurse.
-
Also monitor and abuse and the dead rabbit add-on is a winning combination.
-
Yes - play some survivor as well. Know thy enemy.

A question for survivors - how many times do you self care in a game on average?I wasn’t expecting many answers because survivors know the following:
If it’s a number less than infinity they must acknowledge that it’s ridiculous that self care is infinite.
If it’s a number greater than 4 they must acknowledge that it’s a crutch perk for them.
If they were to tell the truth I suspect the answer would be most people use it 2 or 3 times in an average game. In which case my idea will make no difference to them.
BUT if you need it more than that it because you have been caught and hit a lot. Should there really be no consequence for that?
(even then you can still use med-kit or be team healed)ALSO I still give the option of bringing new Botany Knowledge for infinite heals.
Really the gentlest brush of the nerfbat…more of a caress…but still resisted even though it is a patently fair and generous offer.

Just one of those things – even without the EW3 its unlikely a solo survivor could have freed you so I don’t think it made that much difference.did you seriously just say that? you have never seen anyone being saved by a solo survivor what are you at rank 20 or something?
Put it this way. If I'm guarding someone on the hook and there is only one other survivor left and they both escape I must have made a serious mistake.

I have to agree. The teaser doesn't really suit the theme of DBD, it fits way more with Nioh or other similar games. The only thing that is very DBD about it is the janky animation.
Glad Im not the only one. Imagine a Samurai chasing tennis Meg through Lery's hospital.
That's the sort of nonsense place we could be heading. -
My idea is simple, fair, elegant and doesn't take too much from people.
Also finally a use for Botany Knowledge! Many survivors wont notice any difference. If you do find it harder then you can take Botany. That's the price you will have to pay to continue playing in a rank above your ability.

Leatherface is still number one camper. Pig is probably second, and Wraith third.Do not underestimate Myers as well. He has no special power to protect the hook but you can pretend you haven't seen would be rescuers whilst you slowly build up your Evil Within....
I would also put Hillbilly as number 2. Similar to Leatherface but more labour intensive as you have to keep an eye on the chainsaw charge.

I think people are missing the OP's original point. As well as suggesting that it is not a hex perk I believe he is saying it should only work one time.
So not NOED but MWED (most will escape death)Yeah, I admittedly didn't read the last part until later.
MWED indeed, lol. I'm not sure how killers who use NOED a lot would react to that. While making it a non-hex perk would be a buff, only being able to down someone once would be quite the nerf.A buff on one hand and a nerf on the other - Dead by Daylight in a nutshell...

Wait what? If he got unhooked twice this is more like failed camping. What you did is more like tunnelling. If you want to camp bring a professional - i.e the leatherdaddy.
Also as a killer main myself this is my kind of survivor. The one that leads you to the others. He should be rewarded not camped!
Eheh excuse me, i believe us Pigs have the title of BEST Campers and I personally would kill everyone then camp at each spot. However if it's a Sabo they are going to be my plaything for our little game. Sabos first, their reward is dying first.

A lot of Killer Gibber gabberWay to go on that kill, shiw that Troll not to be a dick, they only earn themselves a nice hitmarker!
I think if I had Hangman's Trick like the OP I would just let the saboteur waste his time and concentrate on hunting down the others.
By the time he had taken down his second hook the first one would have respawned!
But under normal circumstances yes he should die...

I assume it works the same on PC but on PS4 it seems to take your killer rank, multiply it by 4 and try and find survivors with rank that total that number. So for example a rank 10 killer could end up with 2 rank 15's and 2 rank 5's.
I always find those games easier as once you get rid of the potatoes you can concentrate on the others.
I find the harder games when you get all rank 10's for example.
Maybe something similar is happening to you?
No all players were roughly the same rank, only +/- 2 difference.
I think the problem then is the monthly rank reset. If they got rid of that you would see more consistency in terms of rank level and skill.
Then everyone would be rank 1-5 because they made piping too easy
Sounds about right - for survivors at least its more a game of experience than skill.

Surely these are just Freddy's claw marks and nothing to do with the new killer?

All Surviviors must meet up or the minimal of 3 in order to start the objective.
The first objective is locating the power source then doing Gens.
I don't get it. Why does this need to happen?? (3 meeting up)

I have enjoyed all the killers they have released - even Freddy.
Clown is a decent killer and I thought the Pig before that was too. I'm sure the next one will be decent as well.I still think Myers is the best designed though - so many different ways to play him.
