Give all the survivors mini skirts and make the next killer Benny Hill.

After yesterdays update i had 3 blue screens when loading into a game after offerings were burnt. Anyone else get that. I have only seen the app crash 5-6 times in over a year but had 3 last night.
All weekend I was dcing at loading screen and mid match. Like 1/4 games. Seems to have cleared up I just assumed increased traffic or something.
Hmmm....to be honest the dc's I have seen are highly likely intentional based on the occasions when they happened.
But your post and the one before it seem to suggest a different problem is also occurring.
I have seen both. I have had all 3 people dc as soon as we jumped in the match but i have also been had my app crash once loading in and another time in mid match with no one around and i was working on a generator. I have only seen the blue screen 5 or 6 times total in over a year and last night i had two of them. I also noticed my fan on the PS4 kicked in a few times while playing after the update. Does anyone know what that update was i didn't see any patch notes.
The update yesterday? I think to extend the BBQ event by an extra 2 days.

In all seriousness you can play the game in an anti-team way already.- Run Bond and head towards other survivors in a chase hoping the killer will switch targets
- Leave the last person on the hook while you look for the hatch
- Don’t heal the other person if there are only 2 of you left and you want the hatch.
- If two of you are on the gen and its nearly done leave early to get a head start
The ways are many.
This feels very familiar. I see 3 of these most matches.
I think the hatch one is quite common. Incidentally I replied to you on another thread but the post was put into moderation. The PS4 update was to extend the BBQ event I think.

Hillbilly's power is useless on indoor maps and are I find them hard to play on And no I'not against them. They could add a map that has a mix of a complex 1-2 story half demolished buildings really close to each other which is set on outskirts of the field.Even on Meat Plant? There are some decent spaces there I would have thought for chainsaw action? I don't think I have ever played against a hillbilly on that map though.

I don't know for certain but I am willing to bet my soul the answer is no.

A pirate boat would be good. Is a boat indoor or outdoor?

The Dead by Daylight killer design team office?

How about a map inside a hook factory?

The people who blow gens, fail to unhook you and make lots of noise already exist. They are called rank 20's. It is not fun.
-
I heard the new survivor is a pirate.
-
I would like to say thank you to the Freddy who thought I was in the dream world when I wasn't and followed me for the entire match trying over and over again to hit me.
Finally I knew what it must be like to be a leet looper.

Rex_Huin said:My initial thoughts were that more players can only be a good thing but I have to say the experience of playing as survivor this last week has been miserable.
I dropped to rank 14 at season reset and thought I would be safe from the newbies but it seems not.
Firstly disconnects from both survivors and killers. It’s happening far more often and its spoiling a lot of the games.
People are disconnecting just because they got caught – its ridiculous. Just hang on the hook and get rescued.
Also no-one is doing gens! Often in a game Ill be the only person doing them. I keep expecting others to pop on the other side of the map but it doesn’t happen. When I'm hooked Ill see other players milling around literally doing nothing.
I think I only had one gate escape last night. The only way I could get out was the hatch.
So yeah a frustrating experience. I'm sure some players will leave and others improve but right now a lot of the games are just not fun.

To be frank I think killers are having a great time on PS4 at the moment on low ranks. Its a bloodbath!
Even where I play (about rank 10) my results have improved noticeably.
-
Im getting a very strong pirate vibe from that trailer...

I would put trapper higher than that personally. His power doesn't require precise aiming or reflexes, just using your noodle. It's an instant way to end a chase, or catch someone without even chasing them.Certainly higher than Freddy, at the very least.
I must admit I haven't tried 'new trapper' yet.

Why is leatherface so low on ps4 tier lists? I always thought he was the console billyMaybe because his power relies on him being close up but he is huge and yellow and can be seen from a mile away!
I don't find him THAT bad to be honest. I use Monitor and Abuse on him and that helps a lot.
M&A is a hidden gem. Also good on trapper to hide from evil survivors.
Poor bubba, not even good on console.Yeah one of my favourite perks - just that little bit of extra distance you can creep up makes such a difference.

This Nurse main feels insulted.I respect everyone who gives nurse a go on console especially those who succeed. I've given her a couple of dozen goes myself and it was an exercise in frustration. (Although when it comes together it is extremely satisfying.)

I propose:
Tier 1: Your item is destroyed
Tier 2: Your item and the item of another random survivor is destroyed.
Tier 3: As above and the next item you find in a chest has a 75% chance of being broken beyond repair. -

Did a survivor get released when LF did? When Leatherdaddy comes out to play there are no survivors.

Im 99% sure the killer is a pirate.

Found the entitled survivor main again.
I quite like that suggestion. For tier 1 anyhow.
Ill say a little prayer it will happen. -
That's true actually. Those survivors were a chain of fools.
-
Sometimes the other survivors follow you. I knew they were waiting for me to hit someone. Then they would grab the item. What good is that for the killer?
-

You can still get progress without burning a BBQ invite but if you do you also get 4500 bloodpoints per generator / hook.
You don't have to do it with Billy and Kate.

Nowhere near as funny as a Survivor thinking they are hot ######### in this situation and you Tombstone their ass.I have only done that once and it was .....satisfying.

Sounds cool but riddled with problems I haven't even thought of yet.
-
A weird painting caught my eye in Badham Preschool the other night.
I actually stopped to look at it.Cant remember anything about it now except it was black and white or maybe blue and white. Or something.
-
I find myself playing more and more against the other survivors if I can still escape.
I hid in a basement locker as Ace in a silly outfit. When someone got hooked there and the killer had gone I left the locker and just walked right past them at normal speed and then up the stairs without unhooking them.
-
Is no way Kenneth is squeezing into that last outfit...
-
I like him too but I don't know what else they can do. Maybe off duty clown without costume and make up. But I don't think that fits the lore.
-
But these comments prove my exact point. Sure you can turn around, shimmy to the left and go back the other way. But I want to do a gen or cleanse a dull totem not the dbd equivalent of Saturday night fever every 20 seconds. No other add on can cause you such discomfort all game. What's more it can be a yellow one! OP!

Urban legend: Bloody MaryWeapon: Claws
Power: Mirror jump
Perk 1: Invisible hand: When active when a skill check is missed the survivors gain blindness after eyes being clawed out. And skill checks for the rest of the match are terribly hard.
Perk 2: Quick mirror jump: When exit gates are opened a massive mirror appears at both exit gates and Bloody Mary can quickly jump between them and survivors are exposed.
Perk 3: Don't break the mirrors: When a survivor breaks a mirror they are automatically put to injured state with mangled status.
Map: The hanging grounds
Bloody Mary matches much like trapper etc mirrors are placed around the map and can be smashed by survivors.
Thoughts and opinions please.
Perks are OP!

Oh I also quite like tennis Meg but having seen her in the wild I wouldn't buy her. An all white outfit is easier to spot.
-
I bought a couple of reasonably priced ones the other night with some shards I had.
I got the all black hag which I thought looked pretty cool - bit like a spider.
Also one of the dark clown outfits. His get up is much like a onesie so you only have to buy one item to change his whole gear. There is no point changing his weapon - its so small.
Of the auric cell only ones I like the Ace gold smoking jacket.
-
Also just to clarify the hook is completing the sacrifice not doing a mori.
-
You are right I have confused my add-ons and perks. Ill take that on-board.
Btw I deliberately pitched the pirate at low / mid tier as more likely to be accepted by the devs.
-
Hmm tricky one.
They do sound similar but they also seem like logical ideas people would come up with if they really sat down and thought about perks.
-
But restraint is easily applied and you are then tracked for the whole game. There is nothing else like it.
If they introduced something similar on the next killer there would be outrage!
-
The wife is out tonight. Please be working later!
-
I didn't know you could run through the illusions.
I still say no other add-on can mess with you for the entire game like this one though!
-
Given up on ps4 for tonight. I only hope they extend the event.
-
There is a crafty location on Lery's right in the corner of the map in a little enclose. But once you know it you know it..
-
Had a game on grim pantry last night where we couldn't find it till it was too late.
It was tucked away under one of the boardwalks - not especially well hidden but I had never seen one there before. -
I remember when Killing Floor 2 went on PS Plus it was like this. Well maybe not quite as bad....
-
There is such a massive difference between facing 3 or 4 survivors. Witness the games where someone doesn’t load in – the survivors usually get trashed.
I’m a firm believer that you need to get one out the game asap. Once you get your first survivor to struggle stage you might as well camp them out. You will waste
far more time chasing and hooking them again.
