We all make mistakes. Its part of life. So come on you swallow your pride and bring Ruin back (maybe with a little buff as a way of saying sorry). Its not worth trashing your game over. I like the pure killers. Wraith bing invisible, bing visible. Trapper: lay traps, trap people. You get the idea. Hillbilly also (I can live with revving the chainsaw). I hope the new killer doesn't have anything you have to charge up, or wait on a cooldown, or gather something to charge it. Or you have to slowly 'fill a circle' by doing something. It would be really handy to be able to block a killer from following you through windows even if it was just once per match. It could be a Kate perk as she is from the same chapter as Clown. Either a rework or an addition to Windows of Opportunity would work quite well. It also got me thinking are there any other perks which could be used by both survivors and killers? But as usual killer is instant. By all logic they should be making killer more attractive to play? Yet judging from the forum this week they are doing the exact opposite. It actually took me 6 matches as a couple of times the obsession escaped but apart from that it was notable for 2 things: 1) The salt. People REALLY don't like being hard camped by a chainsaw revving Leatherface. 2) Results weren't actually that bad. My tactic was to hook and chase until I found the obsession. I think I am right in saying this but can someone else confirm? Old Devour Hope: Survivors get notification of its existence once someone is insta-downed. I wasn't sure at first but Ive just got as far as the Wraith 'Night Whistler' mask and that looks pretty cool. This might be my tipping point. I'm also one set of trousers away from a new Meg outfit I think (my main) Still 40 days to go. I used Distressing and 'The Beast - Soot' that gives Wraith a terror radius when he is cloaked. My other add on was the 'The Ghost - Soot' which suppresses the wraiths stain and TR for 6 seconds when uncloaked. Had no expectations but honestly the first minute of the match was glorious. I think how you do this sets the tone for the entire match. You basically have these options: You ready up before any survivors enter the lobby. This sends the message: I don’t care if you are all P3 Claudette's with toolboxes or torches. I dont adjust my loadout for yours. I will take on all comers. You are a brave and fearless killer. The point at which survivors are mostly good, know when to rescue, know when to do gens. Are always doing something useful? On PS4 I think its about rank 9. Its a revelation and the game actually becomes easier. Sorry old news I know but worth pointing out to people struggling in the lower ranks. Because that's what happened in one of my games last night. We played a very good ghostface but when I was on the hook I could see what the fellow survivors were doing - basically just walking around aimlessly. No-one doing gens. At all. Just played a survivor team that played 2 stacking offerings to increase the distance between the hooks. Anyhow joke was on them as I played a scratched coin so there was one less chest in the world. This is just the entity giving false hope. Based on 2 years and hundreds of hours play it is simply not true you have a 1 in 20 chance of self unhooking. Try it myself sometimes. Found I had now dropped to level 17 survivor. Waited and eventually found a lobby. First two lobbies seem to suffer from the ‘4th person never arriving’ syndrome – how is this still a thing? Eventually after much faffing and lobby hopping a game gets going. Game starts. First person disconnects after a few seconds. Second and third follow within 30 seconds. I repair one generator. It’s been 2 years now. I’ve grown attached to some of the survivors. Its getting us down this endless cycle of bonfire, trial, bonfire, trial, bonfire, trial. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could eventually escape. Then you get a little cut-scene of your character returning to their former life. Only no time has passed at all. If a game goes badly for the survivors now there comes a point where there is little point in doing gens. Example: If two survivors are out of the game early with only 0-2 gens done the best chance to survive is hope the other guy gets caught first and take the hatch. This scenario did also exist pre EGC but at least you had to complete 2 gens to get the hatch to spawn. Now you dont have to do4 comments 152 views last activity

By 'solution' I mean a way to make them last a bit longer. (By the way I'm not suggesting all these things together at once!) -Make them smaller and harder to see. -Once cleansed the killer can relight the hex at a dull totem. -If you cleanse the totem you only remove the curse from yourself. -They can spawn in basement lockers.
