Tip for new survivors - don't struggle if you are caught last

If you are the last survivor to be caught don’t struggle.

Otherwise you are not giving the killer the option of taking you to the hatch. (Which many of them do.)

  • Struggle -> Wiggle but yes, if all hope is gone just give up, maybe the Killer has mercy.

  • I don't like getting pity hatches personally, so I don't really care enough about wiggling at the end

  • If the killer really wants them to have the hatch what does it matter?

They get stunned plus they lose one point in Malicious if they wiggle free. That's not the case if the Killer just drops them on the hatch.

It's not much, but it's annoying if you consider the fact that they're trying to be nice and in exchange they get punished for it.

    Ok. Wasnt aware of that.

Thing is most killers hook you anyway. With how broken the new hook system can be, is the survivor meant to waste a chance at escaping based on the hope that the other play will show mercy?

If they struggle its better to hook them as who knows what they will do if they escape.

Some of them just go and hide for ages or cant find the hatch and its just dead, wasted time. Remember at this point the killer just wants the game to be over.

Not at all, no. If you see a possible chance in escaping, take it.

It's just that wiggling sometimes stops Killers from giving you the hatch for free because they want to avoid gettung stunned / losing Malicious points. At that point they're kinda forced to hook you unless they find the hatch quickly enough, which is rather unlikely to happen.

If you don't wiggle, you have a chance to get the Killers mercy but if you wiggle you're most likely going to the hook :P

  • Give killers a chance. He has caught all 4 of you so his honour is satisfied.
He doesn't really want to double pip so don't struggle and you may get the hatch.

yes good idea, unless u have DS ofc

  • I don't struggle, then they take me to trips from hatch to the hook until I end up in the basement. Some act like they want to farm and then grab you of the gen after they get us all together and exposed.

I am not new survivor tho.
