"You become obsessed with one Survivor. Hitting the Obsession  with your basic attack causes the Obsession to emit a Terror Radius of 32 metres for 20 seconds. During that time, your Terror Radius is reduced to 0 metres.

This effect can only be triggered once every 60/45/30 seconds. The Obsession hears the Terror Radius they emit for the duration."

Trash perk. The improvement of the tiers should be the time it lasts, not the frequency you can do it.

  • No.

I like the visual affect. Decreasing the survivor visibility means they will make more mistakes when looping and every indirect nerf to looping is good, specially now that the devs have increased the number of pallets.

  • I don't usually dodge clothes unless there are a SWF of two or more spawning with flashy/auric clothes, in that case I dodge, the chance of being a toxic SWF is 95%.

  • I'm usually merciful when one or more survivors DC, if one survivor DC I usually kill one (bad luck) and hook two times the other two, then I let them finish the gens and scape. Depend on their attitude too, if they are the typical toxic tbaggers there are no mercy then, If they are the typical infinite loopers I usually kill them too, but not always, depend on my mood that particular day.

  • I like it, it's the red forest realm but different enough to make you feel you are in another place. In the "Onion Temple" there will be epic chases.

  • Some time ago I sugested a bonus increasing the amount of BP earned by a 10% for each devotion level if I remember correctly, it would be nice. I don't see possible the shard reward, they are reluctant to make easier obtaining a coin for obtaining paid content for free.

    Also, Huntress isn't disfigured?

Myers. He don't have any kind of desfigurement. Also, without any kind of desfigurement and only wearing a Captain Kirk's mask he is the most scary killer, ironic.

Its supposed to be hard. Like the game is supposed to be hard for survivors. It sucks, but other than doing your best and moving on, or burning offerings to avoid CWF, ot much to do.

The problem is The Game only have one realm and Coldwind have five realms, four of them with huge cornfield which are a nightmare for most of the killers. Coldwind farm spawn way more frequently than The Game.

Two minutes is more than enough time to find a survivor. Especially for a perk that will block 3 generators. Five minutes is too much.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/984/RSB1LI1XUW4T.png

Two minutes is enough to find a survivor but not enough for finding chasing downing and hooking, with two minutes you only avoid the genrush a bit, after the first hook the genrush will start.

  • Dark Devotion will be good depending on how long it lasts, if it's less than 30 seconds (in Tier 3 of course) then it is trash IMO. A minute in Tier 3 would be nice.

Infectious Fright will be good if the survivors scream in your terror radius, can have a good combo with Distressing, if it works tied to a fixed amount of metres then I don't like it, unless the amount of metres is 30 or more in Tier 3.

Corrupt Intervention, again, it will be good depending on how long it lasts. If it lasts for only 2 minutes (tier 3) the it don't worth the slot and won't stop any genrush, 5 minutes would be nice.

Solidarity: trash for solo survivors, can be good for SWF, specially 4 players SWFs.

Poised: bad perk, can be only a bit good in closed maps likes Lery's or The Game.

Head On: Situational in most cases.

  • I don't like her because depend on the aim and I have terrible aim throwing hatchets, also the worst killer chasing in the game. With good aim she is very good but I don't like the killers who require a lot of time (and a lot of humilliant loses) for mastering, is the same reason why I don't like nurse.

    Reason 1 - SWF

Reason 2 - too many camouflaged Claudettes

    Reason 3 - flashlights

Reason 4 - not readying up

Reason 5 - purposely not readying so you can quick switch a item or character

When I play survivor which is usually solo I have no problems getting into lobbies.

You didn't mention dodging people with high ping which is very frequent. The half of my dodges are due the ping, specially since a few time ago the game put asians with 300+ ping in my lobby (I'm from Europe), I have no idea why.

  • The most useless build for killer in the world:

    The Pig

    • Insidious
    • Tinkerer
    • Overwhelming pressence
    • Monitor & Abuse

I challenge you to make a worse build for any concrete killer

  • I don't like to use Ruin or any of the Hex perks but due the genrushing problem I'm starting to use it in almost every build if I want to have some fun and more than 3-4 hooks in more than half of he trials.

  • @Warlock_2020 said:

I get it it Dark, but when did 4k become the standard? I'm happy with a 2k. Granted, I regularly get 3-4k every match, but 2k is all it takes for me to feel like I did my job well. When did 4k become the standard for killers? Is it because of the toxic, crying survivor-types? (I know not all killers/survivors fit these categories, but it is getting worse and worse.)

The 2K can be feel as a victory or as a defeat depending on the circunstances.

If I get 2K by hooking only two survivors and the other two without any hook or only one hook I feel the trial end as a defeat.

If I get 2k after hooking two times the 2 scaped survivors then I feel the triald end as a victory.

The problem is the first case is more frequent most of the times due the genrush or the immersed stealthy tactics of some survivors.

  • There are at least one post a week related to map RNG. In almost all the threads Coldwind is mentioned. Maybe some people still think it is related to luck but I don't think so. The amount of times Coldwind spawn is insane and when playing killer it annoy me a lot due the cornfields and the damn infinites there are in some landmarks.

Games should be balanced at the top. Not the bottom, not the middle, not the majority; the top. That is the only way to ensure a game is balanced at all levels of play.

I don't agree. I think a game should be balanced to average players, who are the most numerous, specially in a game without competitive mode and without an e-sport scene like DBD.

  • If I remember correctly I said in one thread some time ago that the hatch must stay closed if there are only one survivor remaining and there are gates opened.

It also annoy me, Why I must waste time for the whim of someone who wants a few extra BP?

  • Why people still boast when they achieve 360s?

I think that thing is more related to luck rather than skill unless the killer is terrible and can be juked multiple times in a row using that tactic. Also is another way to take advantage of one of the main handicaps of the killers, their small FOV.

  • Sabo is only effective if at least two members have it and leave the hooks at 99% and finish them when the killer is carrying a survivor to it.

  • The problem with Billy (and also Nurse) is that they are strong enough to face good SWF squads if you are good playing them, the problem is they are too strong against solo survivors or average SWFs. That make very difficult to balance them, if you nerf them the good SWFs will humilliate you, if you keep them as they are at the moment, then almost all the solo survivor groups or average SWFs will lose most of the trials against them...

  • Least played: Freddy and Clown.

    Most played: The rest.

I'm not in red rankds, for clarification. XD

Yeah, the things that make him fun to use are what makes him so unfun to play against.

The total invisibility and permanent aura reading need to go.

What? His invisibility and aura reading are his only strong things at the moment and the only things which make him different from other killers. If you don't like the aura reading, fail a generator or healing skillckeck or look for a mate.

The main problem of Freddy is the transition to the dream world being too long and not interrupting survivor actions. Is very annoying when you see a survivor breaking your Ruin and cannot interrupt his action of cleansing it, or spoting one survivor opening the gates and cannot interrupt him seeing him finishing and scaping in front of your eyes while you can do nothing.

No. Have some respect to religious people, noone wants his most loved personality getting beated up and slaughtered in a damn video game.

Disrespectful to ask this, and I'm suprised that people really want this. But I'm sure the devs are professional enough not to do that.

  • I think is because if they make significant penalty against DCs they will lose a lot of their playerbase.

Most of people DC sometimes, and I'm pretty sure that the sacrosant people who "never DC" have DC'd sometimes, Me included.

I can agree in that some people DC for absurd reasons like missing DS, being downed the first, get two generators done before the first hooked and such.

I DC sometimes but my particular reasons are:

    As killer:

    • Playing against extremelly toxic group.
    • Getting Coldwind Farm a 4th time in a row and I'm fed up (this happened to me a lot of times).
    • Getting very tilted due a bad run of consecutive games.

    As survivor:

    • I'm fed up of being tunneled a particular day.
    • Lag when I played solo.
    • Playing against Legion (not always).
  • I'm fed up of that pin too.

Do you know that using a joke many times in a row makes it stop being funny?

  • You have recognized that you barely played killer and you opine about killers balance...

  • It makes me uncomfortable too, they are not designed for make you feeling good. XD

  • Play killer a bit and your opinion will change.

  • Anyone except Legion.
One Legion less in the world provoking unfun games is always good news.
  • I just played three games and all were Coldwind.
Serioisly, the RNG of the map spawn is a bit broken.
I'm thinking that's the reason why Heart Locket is so uncommon in the Bloodwebs, because the "tremendously increases the chance to be sent to Coldwind farm" is the base and the offering is not needed.

I think there are some people a bit braggart here.
"Gentapping is done by people without skill" I don't trust the people who say they always hit the great skillchecks. I have seen some 3000-5000 hours of DBD streamers and when Ruin is active they usually go to find the totem and when they are healing or doing a generator they don't always hit the great skillcheck, they hit it more than me and more than the average players, but always not.
    Stop being braggarts please.

To be fair I’ve had some game that I hit nothing but greats but that’s doesn’t happen most games so I run stake out to help if I don’t make the great.

Ok, I'm going to believe you, but some people here pretend to make believen that every single skillcheck in every map can be a great one with enough skill and that's a bluff. Even hitting the great in the half of the skillchecks with Ruin active slow down the reparion enough for considering tap the gen or find the totem, unless two or more with toolboxes are in the same gen.

  • Is one of the most difficult killers to play against as survivor for me, so I think she must be in a good position in the tier list and she is my next buy as soon I get 9000 shards.

  • It's found too fast due the totems are generally poorly hidden. 90% of the times the hex totem is next to a generator or in obvious places such the hills and a corner in the walls. In the last three days the totem only lasted all the trial ONE TIME and more than two minutes four or five times only.
A ragequit when the totem is desteoyed in the first minute don't even surprise me, is completely understandable, the people are fed up, it's the only real counter against genrush.

  • And what about the ones who want to only have fun, and improving is a secondary thing like me? I don't want to face more experienced people than me, and also I consider it doesn't improve the skill, it only make you get frustrated and tilt a lot, ruining the fun. Is better improving slowly against player in the same ranks.
  • Why a teaser photo which is for nothing but speculate.
We want to see an image of the killer and speculate but only about the ability and perks. Please, is almost March.

I really wonder what kind of data BHVR wants to collect.

How many games does it take to draw away a beginner killer facing rank 1 squads?

One dude quit and I don't blame him. We weren't being toxic he just could not catch us. He whiffed a lot and we were just running in a straight line. The only way this guy was gonna get a hook is if we just walked up and let him down us.

Why you simply don't let him hook each one of you two times and then scape?
I have never faced red ranks squads and I am usually in green ranks, but I notice perfectly when a deranked squad is playing and is a wasted time and damn stressful.

  • Leatherfaces are always selfish, don't mind if one or more survivors bring Party Streamers, they camp and tunnel anyway and never give the hatch. This is not a stereotype, is a proved fact in the trials I play.
  • I have noticed weird lobbies but not rank wise. I live in Europe and a lot of chinese or koreans are recently coming to my lobby with 250+ ping. Never happened to me before.

You're not going to convince dodgers not to dodge. That's simply not possible. The best you can hope for is that the devs fix the reasons why they dodge. Personally, I don't bring in items and rarely use offerings, but thanks to my teammates, I still get dodged.

The problem is the same crap you see in For Honor. These stupid "rules" crybabies make up in their heads and expect people to follow.

If I have a medkit and think it will help, I'll bring a medkit. If I want to try and go for an epic flashlight save, I'm bringing a flashlight.

Items are in the game and staying. Just like NOED. People need to stop being little whiners about everything and getting pissy because someone uses what is in the game.

Dodge me killers, go ahead. Maybe when you keep taking 20 years to find a match or always suck because you never learn to deal with items, you'll finally stop lobby dodging.

    Fun fact:
Its the survivors side having the longer queue times right now

Oh and btw, survivors made up a bunch of made up rules, so why should killers not be allowed to do the same?

Nobody should be making up rules and expecting people to follow them.

And no, I've had long wait times as killer too. I find matches faster as killer than survivor on average.

It reminds me of that "don't enviromental kill me" crap in For Honor. It's "dishonorable" to knock someone off a ledge, yet the devs put it there for just that purpose.

Both sides need to stop expecting people to follow these arbitrary rules. Until the devs remove x item or perk, it's in the game and nobody is a POS for using it, despite how you personally feel about it. Lobby dodging is just cheap and a way for bad players to attempt EZ wins.
In my case it's not for attempting easy wins, it's because i don't want to be genrushed so if i see more than one toolbox I dodge, and I don't want to be blinded in every damn pallet neither, so if I see more than one flashlight, I dodge. It's unfun for me and if I have the opportunity of avoiding it I'll do it. If the devs remove the dodges or penalice it then the killers will start to DC when the trial starts which is worse.
There are also a legitimal and totally fair reason for dodging survivors, the ping.

  • I think they don't give us licensed character cosmetics because they cannot sell anything to take an extra profit from a licensed character and if they give us some cosmetics for free or only unlocked with shards  for the licensed ones then they won't take a profit and they are not interested in spending resources only for our happiness.
It's only my theory but i thin it's pretty plausible.

  • Doctor and Myers. I don't know why they are tagged as hard, Hillbilly as easy and huntress and as intermediate being hardest to do good with them. Seriously, who tag the difficulty of the killers?
  • A nerf, but I like it more than before when playing survivor because I hate being tunneled and I will finally have a way to punish the killers who tunnel me.

    @ChesterTheMolester said:
I mean it kinda depends on who you main and your playstyle, i can imagine that perk rework pissing off a lot of Wraiths, Nurses and Hags while its mostly a pure buff for less tunneling Killers like Freddy, Pig, Legion and Trapper (who are already less powerful than the 2 meta Killers, fair enough).

Since i play a lot of Freddy, Trapper and still relearning Pig i will personally deal with DS a lot less than before so maybe im biased towards it.

Also i believe right now is your standard aperkalypse we get with each chapter, remember when people declared the game is dying cause of Deliverance, Bamboozle, Distortion, Rancor, Breakdown, Autodidact, Spirit Fury, Make Your Choice and BT rework? This perk is basicly just another version of BT but for yourself.

I agree with you and I didn't think about it can be considered a buff or a nerf depending the killer you play. It will also piss off the typical Leatherface campers, the new DS will be a pain in the ass for them.
