They tend to be the typical loopers in a SWF who want to make you waste time chasing them while their mates do gens, they are usually the ones who have DS too.
I usually ignore them and it's very funny when they keep clicking the flashlight and vault spam to take your attention and they waste time without even earning a good amount of BP. For me ignoring them is the best way to fight them, they usually get frustrated when don't take your attention. -
If you want to farm BP fast play Doctor with BBQ and Distressing. Even if you don't kill anyone you will get a good amount of BP. At least try to hook the four survivors one time for the full BBQ bonus.
-
I'm starting to Ctrl+Alt+Del when the loading screen takes too long because I'm fed up of playing 3v1 trials. As survivor for the obvious disadvantage even considering repairing one less gen and as killer because I feel pity about the survivors and I feel forced to let alive at least two of them.
If the devs can't find a fix for the root of the problem they could at least release a band-aid hotfix while them fix it entirely, for example cancelling a match when it will be a 3v1 and giving back offerings and addons spent. -
I don't agree with some.
Spark of madness is recomended in both cases. Monitor and abuse is a very good perk for killers like Myers and Pig, also Doc is very fun to play and I consider him mid tier, when played correctly he can deny window vault and is one of the best killers for tracking survivors. And about Feng Ming, Lithe is a good perk and my favourite exhaustion one, Alert is very good for knowing where the killer is and where is he going, also she have the best cosmetics in the game IMO.
The pig is recommended too, she is mid tier, with the correct perks she is good and without considering blood warden she is the only killer which can force the survivors to stay in the map when the gates are open and the only which can kill survivor passively without considering slugging. -
Huntress hatchets

Because they like winning in 5-6 minutes if there are more than two toolboxes and not Ruin.
they also have the impudence to think they are good teabagging at the gates after a hard rush. The typical survivor main with his biased opinion will say to you "that are items intended to be used, don't dodge blah blah blah blah". -

I think there's only like 3k survs main on this forum and 7k killers mains.. if you complain about some killers addons/items your gonna be demolish with not valid argument for these killer mains
Check the forum more frequently, there are a lot of survivor mains too, if you check the forum posts from two monts ago until today you will see the typical survivor mains threads "nerf NOED!!" or the ones which are frequent now "Killers dodge the lobby buaa buaa".
Why don't you just say that you like the current DS because you want your not deserved free scape instead complaining about the new DS.
The new DS is a tool for punishing the killer for being a tunneler and have a counter: not tunneling. The old DS have no counter, the only slightly counter is using Enduring to save some time, not much, and slugging the DS user which feel like a win for the DS user too. Also, when more than one person have DS you don't know that and you get the nasty surprise and when you as killer use a obsession perk you always have the uncertainty due not knowing if the survivor have DS too.I like the new DS more, in fact I don't use DS when playing survivor never, I don't even have Laurie Strode leveled and I'm going to level her for unlocking the perk. I like the perk because now I can punish the killer for tunneling me.

Anytime you see flashlight bring that perk that lets you eat a pallet like a snack, plus the one that reduces stun time so they can’t blind you then you can slap their ass one good time. Or you can dodge them. But boy would they be surprised to find out they can’t blind you.
I haven't unlocked enduring with all the killers and I haven't spirit fury unlocked yet, I don't even have the spirit unlocked, it will be my next when I save 9000 shards.

Some people confuse "tunneling" with "spotting you again while patrolling".
Tunneling is intentionally go and down a recently unhooked survivor for hooking him again or spotting more than one at same time and go against the recently unhooked instead another survivor.
Some salty survivors call you tunneler even if you down them because you have seen them again before any other survivor. -
I like when a survivor don't know this and waste a pallet trying to save a mate... xD

Genrush doesnt exist. Its survivors objective to do Gens as fast as possible. NOED just rewards killers for NOT doing their objective properly and punishes survivors for doing their objective efficiently and thats the problem. If DS is considered toxic, what aboutNOED? Its far worse AND far more used. Everybody telling DS is toxic and needed a change has to say the same about NOED, otherwise its just a unprejudiced perspective.Again, another who probably have played 1 hour killer and say genrush is the killer not doing his job...
As I have said in other thread before,
I ask how the hell I can patrol 7 gens with a regular 115% speed killer to avoid a genrush. If you have bad luck and the first two or three gens you check don't have any survivor working, the first gen will be done shortly or already done, also in the time you spend in the first chase and first hook (a survivor without DS) the first gen is done, even if you see a survivor 15 or 20 seconds after the trial starts and you have to hook the survivors twelve times (without considering moris or not being saved before the struggle). Or maybe you think everyone play Nurse or Billy.
I personally use Ruin rather than NOED, but using NOED is legitimal to counter a genrush in the late game. -
Bloody Party Streamers, specially when stacked.

Freedys claws would be as long as Dr William Birkin's ones.

All 5 gens done in a 5 minute or less span of time in my case.
What do you propose, not to do gens?
No they don't have to waste time for not genrushing it's the dev work to find a solution.
Today the only real counter against genrushing without considering killers with very high map pressure, is Hex: Ruin.
Overcharge is trash, Thanatophobia is trash and sometimes the Totem is cleansed in the first minute.
There are some sweaty survivors that even repair while being injured without considering the risk for making the gens ASAP.
Some clearly biased survivor players say that genrush doesn't exist and is the killer doing bad. OK I would ask them how the hell I can patrol 7 gens with a regular 115% speed killer to avoid a genrush. If you have bad luck and the first two or three gens you check don't have any survivor working, the first gen will be done shortly or already done. Without ruins in the time you spend in the first chase and first hook (the survivor without DS) the first gen is done, even if you see a survivor 15 or 20 seconds after the trial starts, remember you have to hook the survivors twelve times (without considering moris or not being saved before the struggle). -
I only consider being merciful in two cases, one survivor DC, except DCing for giving the hatch of course or DCing in end game with only one generator left or the generators done, in other cases if one survivor DC I usually kill only one of the three left and hook the other two remaining while they can be saved from the hook, then I leave them make the remainins generator and even using pallets against me to take BP, of course if the survivor are toxic I have no mercy, they will die even if one, two or three DC. The other case in which I consider being mercifull is when the survivors are very very noobs and I can notice they are new in the game, I'm pity, cannot kill them, their fails are too cute for being killed. xD
I'm not merciful in any case against:- Toxic survivors (of course).
- Genrushers.
-
What a survivor biased image.
If you put addons and offerings in killer side why you don't put the instaheal addon for medkit in the right side along with DS? or the BNP? or 4 times DS + instaheal addon + Toolbox with BNP?
"But...but is rare to play a trial in which 4 survivors use DS". OK, playing a trial with killer pink addons and/or pink mori is rare too. And NOED can be countered destroying totems, but in the genrush tryhard in 4 minutes mentality of most of survivor mains wasting time looking for and cleansing totems cannot be considered, of course. -
Most of community agree with the change, check the nine pages thread talking about it. Also, you hace 0 upvotes and Orion 6 upvotes and 1 awesome. You are not right.
-
I'm tired of Coldwind and Autoheaven, those maps are the most common for me. When playing survivor I like Coldwind but when playing killer is like "OMG this agaaaain", the damn Cornfield is a nightmare for the killer, almost cannot follow scratchmarks and sometimes you hear the chasing music start without seeing the survivor at all.
-
I almost never tunnel, so this perk won't have any effect against me.
I love this nerf. -

Reverse Bear Traps kill people trying to escape through the Hatch. :pirate:I agree, it's unfair being able to scape through the hatch with a RBT and also it ignores the lore of Saw movies which is "you can't scape till you finish the game (remove/disable the traps)".
I would also add Jigsaw boxes auras cannot be seen until the RBT is enabled. -

I don't agree. I see good rank 1 killers in streams using enduring, are you telling indirectly they are incompetent?
The problem of the "stop just before the pallet to avoid an stun" tactic is that sometimes you stop and the survivors dont use the pallet when you think they will do it, you waste time and the loop become even longer. It's better using enduring, get stunned intentionally and break the pallet and if they don't use it sometimes you don't waste time stopping and sometimes achieve a hit. It's obviously different when you run a perk build that revolves around eating pallets, such as Spirit Fury & Enduring.
But I'm curious, what "good" Killers are you talking about?
I know many Killers that believe "eating" and breaking each pallet as quickly as possible is the most efficient way to play Killer. It's not.
Yes, stopping in front of the pallet is probably the most predictable and easiest way to bait a pallet drop without getting stunned but that's not what I'm talking about. You can lunge into a pallet but stop right before you enter the hitbox of the pallet. Of course you can only do that if the hit would actually connect, good survivors will know that by judging the distance and drop the pallet to avoid the hit, allowing you to bait it. As a Billy main, I can quickly revv my chainsaw to let them think I'm expecting them to drop the pallet so they could continue the loop safely but in fact I'm just revving the chainsaw for a very short time to make them believe I wanna immediately break it with the chainsaw. So they continue the loop and I can easily catch up.
You'll also lose bloodlust when you get stunned or break a pallet, this allows them to easily get to the next pallet and your chase never really improves. Each pallet resets your whole chase progression until they run out of pallets,
I also see lots of "good" Killers breaking every single pallet that gets dropped even if it makes absolutely no sense to break it at that point.
But anyway, pallets are not really part of this topic.
I usually watch one called Carlosxiri from my country and Truetalent too but very few times.

Which is worse, getting pallet stunned, or blinded?Pallet stunned is the result of the Killers incompetence.
Flashlight is just unavoidable during pallet break animation, that's what makes it more annoying to deal with.

I like all the voices except wraith's voice when get stunned, I find that sound tremendously annoying, is one of the reasons which I don't like play him.

I'm fulfilling these two
💘 Survivors who don’t spam click at killers, tbag them at every nearby pallet, or try to just be “annoying”
💘 Killers who gives a survivor a chance while 3 others disconnected from ragequittingI'm half-fulfilling this:
💘 Killers who don’t camp/face-camp
Because I tend to camp one survivor when the gens are done I haven't killed anyone and I faced genrushers and/or toxic squad. -

Because except dribbling there is nothing else you can do.Slugging is another counter.
I know a lot of times when you slug them, the survivors are healed and a lot of times scape but anyway slugging them repeteadtely ruins their fun and for me it's well-deserved for bringing that annoying perk to my trial... :chuffed: -
It's overrated against good survivors, good survivors can dodge the hatchets pretty easily despite the broken hitboxes, against average survivor, someone with good aim can rekt them pretty easily.

Why do you people hate Legion so much? I don't get it. Most decent ones go for everyone and don't tunnel or camp. Just mend and don't heal and work on gens.Because it's boring to play against him/her and most of them tunnel as hell. The only counter against him/her is stealth and not always work. I understand the ppl who DC when playing against him, or suicide in the first hook. I think the devs only thought about the killer player fun without minding survivor players fun when designing Legion and here are the results.
In that case they have failed because there are a lot of killer mains who dislike the Legion. Some even go as far as saying that Legion was made for survivor mains who want to be killers.
Survivors dislike Legion, lot of killer mains dislike legion as you just said, the devs are planning a rework for him/her. Seems quite obvious that Legion is trash in terms of design considering those things.
I would like to know who had the brilliant idea of making a killer with the ability of running incredibily fast, vault windows and pallets and a wallhack to spot the hidden ones nearby while thinking it won't bring issues to the community.
And yes, I know Nurse can avoid obstacles better than Legion, but at least nurse have a huge skillcap because you have to predict survivor movement and the distance of your blinks and the stealth work against her. With Legion you only have to press "W" (in PC). -

Billy always looks doofy to me. Leatherface walks funny cause his torso stays almost motionless while he's walking.I thought I was the only one that see the walk animation of Leatherface funny. Looks like he es always lost and without knowing where to go, at least for me. XD
I also can't stop laughing when I'm playing killer and catch Bill in a locker and see his face. I cannot say why.
If you want to laugh, when playing a spirit go to a gen and stay next to it pointing down, her hand moves looks like she is repairing the generator and it's funny.

I don't like it. Being forced to walk till you see the killer is boring. I personally use Lithe, is my favourite exahustion perk.

Only if you can prove that you was hearing it as background music.
Does my fish count as witnesses, they are willing to testify in court?
You must apport a video recorded by a third person using an smartphone for example, a video recorded in PC/console using software is not valid for the court because the song can be placed later by editing it.
...... If we are to be serious I do not think that this would go to court for me moonwalking as Myers. It is walking backwards, I do not think this counts as an exploit?
When I talk about moonwalk I refer to pressing the keys repeteatedly to walk backwards with the walk forward animations and as far as I know it avoid a chase counting as a chase to favour the stealthy, I'm not talking about killers, maybe I'm wrong or misunderstood something about moonwalking.

In some cases the negative effects are justified because without that negative effect the addon would be OP. However there are some nonsense cases, Amanda's letter is the best example.TrAiNwReCk said:My biggest Killer add-on complaint is since most killers need their add-on's, why . . WHY . . . I usually see more survivor biased people in this forums and Steam forums than killer biased.
I consider myself pretty unbiased but I tend to complain more about survivors because I consider the game unbalanced favouring them due the fact of voice comunication and being four against 1 and also is way more common to suffer toxicity playing as killer. I play around 60% killer 40% survivor. There are things that annoy me when playing as suvivor too, of course, like tunneling or game related issues that favour killers such hitboxes.
