Yea, literally this. You hop into a conversation, read the last few comments, start talking absolute drool towards me that makes literally no sense what so ever.

One day you'll get better, I promise, just practice more.

    What conversation ?

You're just trolling and lobbying for survivors, as usual.

Trying to spread as much lie and non-senses as possible, for the "lol" i guess ?

That's basically all what you do.

You also admitted being drunk a lot of time while posting in another thread (for the "lol" again i guess).
Surely one of the reasons why you quite like getting "Killer main exposed on the forum >:) "

Not moronic at all, no ... /s

What the actual [BAD WORD] are you on about? I've actually never been drunk at all when posting on the forums, you're actually talking so much crap right now. I would LOVE it if you quoted the comment I made about me being drunk because it absolutely didn't happen.

Also, quote one thing in this thread where I am "Survivor" sided, because it hasn't happened at all.

I also absolutely don't lie about anything either, I guarantee you can't find one comment on this entire website of me "lying". Opinions aren't lies and you'll one day figure that one out, sweetheart.

I think he talks about @Vietfox LOL

He has same the avatar and likes whisky a lot as far as I remember

  • I don't like addon buffs tbh.

Devs have this mindset that if they buff a killer's addon, they think that they are making the killer more powerful and balanced.

Her base kit should be buffed. Addons can wait for now.

    Edit; I forgot something.

While Identity V is still a mess in terms of survivors being overpowered as hell there, the Terrorshock idea is quite good.

To people who don't know what Terrorshock does, when ur working on a gen or vaulting a window or healing another survivor you instantly go down if the killer hits you.

I think looping should have it's drawbacks and this would finally introduce real ones.

Terrorshock could be exclusive to weaker killers to make it more balanced, make it part of their passive kit (freddy, pig, trapper, wraith, spirit, doc. This way you would give them a way to combat loops if survivors do them poorly.

    I disagree.

Plain buffs are never a good idea. If you want to buff a killer, make that killer more complicated and difficult to play so that we can differentiate good and bad killers.

A killer should not be rewarded just because he presses w and m1 without doing anything.

Don't try to mind game, don't try to have different strategies, don't try to do something clever and expect to get 3-4k just because you follow survivors mindlessly and break pallets.

I think if they go on with healing time change (from 12 to 16) Self Care would get nerfed enough. 32 (or 40 with Mangled) seconds to heal is a loooot of time.

I think it is gonna become 24 not 32 since it reduces healing speed by %50. I don't know how mangled affects (Baseline or cumulative?) but it will be around 28-30 with mangled.

    Something, something, blood-point economy, something.

    Does it make sense though?

What is the difference between spending 1 mil BPs 10 times in a row and spending 10 mil BPs in one session?

Amount of ultra rare and very rare addons I will get will be the same.

1 mil cap is just lame imo.

  • Self care is fine.

If you are a killer and think that a perk is overpowered because it is used in every single match, then don't complain when survivors want some perks like BBQ, ruin, NOED to be nerfed.

If you are a survivor and think that self care doesn't need to be fixed even though it is the number 1 survivor perk, then don't want killer perks to be nerfed 'based on' their usage.

Basically try to be not biased, you will see that most of the time what survivors and killers propose goes against their own interests one way or another.

  • I don't have any. I don't understand people trying to memorize other people's name for a video game tbh. Just let it go

Hi, I'm Chococri and I started playing this  game since this past event.

I'm enjoying it a lot and I have some questions, sorry if those were made before.

    1. What does the luck do in this game? Or how does it affect? You have a better chance to unhook yourself or have less skill checks to appear I guess? It's pretty lame so or actually with it? Not quite sure.

    2. How do you use the keys and the black locks? Are those meant to be for the vault, right? And so, can you literally escape after repairing 2 gens even if everyone is alive? (I think the vault always open in case you fixed 2 gens and you are the last survivor ofc) Also, talking about vaults, they spam in specific spots? Like for example in The Game map they do only in the bottom floor I think? Furthermore today I discovered they can spawn in buildings too, just playing in Myers map.

    3. Best way to counter the hag? I'm loving this game and although my friends whine about all the killers are op, which is not, I think this is a play to win game aka stfu we are noobs l2p git gud and stop crying lmfao, I suffer a lot playing against that killer. Does she have infinite traps? Can she tp as much as she wants in every single trap without even triggering them? Will I ever stop having jumpscares with her traps? Geez!

    4. My favorite killer is Michael, any tip and recommendations? I think he is super fun to play with and I want to get better with him.

    5. What is exactly to be toxic in this game? I see flashlights are the item for toxic people but how so? It's an item in game after all besides you can counter them if you are clever and fast unless there's a pallet in front of you. I see Ochido the youtuber is called a toxic player but since I don't know the basics I have no clue why.

    6. Which perks are the best? Self-care for sure but what else is a must go in your survivor build? I like to play stealthy for gens and yolo runner for baiting and rescuing the killer so, let me know which perks should I equip in both cases. What about the killers? I already suffered from the goddamn BBQ&chilli+Hex Ruin, I get it...

    7. Any recommended youtuber or artist of this fandom to follow?

    8. How often do they release new content (new killer, map, items in the store, etc)? If we have a shirtless David why not a shirtless Myers? Lol jk but I really wish we have it just for the lolz not gonna lie tho. Also, do they release events for halloween, xmas, summer, etc in this game?

    9. Gesturing to bait the unhook means you are being camped or it's not really a thing?

I think that's all for now. Spent 50h in 4 days. I had a blast! It's a very addictive game and since I needed a new and fresh game I feel like I'm gonna play way much more time. I have the urge to become a better player!

1-) Luck increases your chance to unhook yourself. I don't know if it does something else.

2-) You perform vault when you jump over windows. What you mean by vault is the hatch. Keys indeed open the hatch and allow you to escape. However, The hatch doesn't spawn when you repair 2 generators all the time.
One alive survivor --> 2 generators have to be completed for the hatch
Two alive survivor --> 3 generators have to be completed for the hatch
Three alive survivor --> 4 generators have to be completed for the hatch
Four alive survivor --> 5 generators have to be completed for the hatch

3-) I don't think I can help you with hag. I struggle against her too.

4-) I don't play Myers so I can't give any advice, maybe some else can.

5-) The term 'toxicity' is not really clear tbh. Tbag (crouching repeatedly) flashlight clicks (not to get a save or blind the killer but just to annoy him) are considered toxic. A lot of other people have their own standards but I advice you to not give a crap about it. Just don't tbag.

6-) If you want to have a stealth build, your best bet is urban evasion+ Iron will+ self care+ spine chill. You can change spine chill for other perks too. For killers, BBQ and Hex:Ruin is very helpful but the rest depends on which killer you play. For example, Distressing on doc is very helpful but if you use it on other killers, it will be quite worthless.

7-) I mainly watch streamers on twitch and I would recommend Angrypug, AdmiralBahroo, Jendenise, ZubatLEL, and Hexy. I don't watch youtube much so can't give many examples.

8-) Every three months, a new killer, survivor and a map is being released. They have events for special times. As for shirtless Myers (LOL) I think they take their game very seriously so they are not gonna give these kind of cosmetics I believe.

9-) It is very unreliable. Some people just want to do that while others try to say that they are being camped. It doesn't mean anything to me.

    Edit; I didn't know 8 - ) had an emoji LOL 8-)

  • Clown
    Huntress
    Doc

I don't use any addons as a rule on any of my killers. Maybe brown ones here and there. I find them most enjoyable and effective against loops.

Guys. As I already said. This is all because it's been her first week and the start of her 2nd week. And I said, normal survivors. Nowadays almost all survivors even in rank 1 are scrubs to be quite honest.

Wait so now it's almost all survivors are scrubs at rank 1 is the excuse for killers doing well and not because the killer has actual skills.

    In one thread

Survivor mains --> There are good killers who can 4k consistently at high ranks.
Killer mains --> It is because all survivors are boosted and scrubs.

    Then in another thread

Killer mains --> The game is unplayable at high ranks because survivors can easily pallet loop and gen rush.

Still, I don't think personal accounts mean much tbh. As a survivor, I have faced many spirits at high ranks and they were all terrible. Except for one, who camped ant tunneled btw, none of them got 4k.

Leatherface and the spirit are the two killers that make me relax as soon as I see them. I think she needs buff but if you are against the idea, rather than pointing out your personal experience, trying to refute what is provided is better imo.

Stating that, I don't support OP's buffs and changes.

  • How did you find this thread. I really am curious.

  • Sometimes I have lag spikes as well. I can understand it from survivors, crazy things start to happen to them like they teleport.

Even if I could normally down a survivor without that lag spike, to show my good intentions, I pick them up and drop them until they stun me and start to run.

I have never been accused of being a lagswitcher. Let them go if you have a bad connection. It is that easy.

  • I didn't have any problem because I don't camp. It is not that hard to play the game without hard camping.

Still, It shouldn't be that hard to down an unhooked injured survivor.

  • @Kaelum said:
@Delfador so, I guess you’ve never let the killer know that they’ve won, and then the killer takes you to the hatch? I’ve had that happen several times to me, and I will sometimes do the same if the survivors have played well. I can tell you that I have never let a tea bagger go. I prefer to take the chance and give the killer a thumbs up, but I guess that’s just me.

No killers understand people who tbags to annoy them and people who tbags to accept their failure.

I am in the second part of the group. I fcked up, knew that and accepted my failure and tbagged him before I went down. Others tbag the killer when they are safe like when they are at the exit gates or behind the pallets.

  • I tbag the killers when I understand that there is no way for me to escape and I am about to go down.

Especially billies answer me with their R2 spamming. I love it.

  • If they are gonna ever do something about SWF, it should be giving killers bonuses against them like a couple of more perk slots.

Anything that will negatively impact SWF might kill the game. They can't take the risk.

Best solution imo is to introduce in game voice comms. They can balance the game around it.

  • It is not a strong perk at all.

Sure if you are the obsession, it is gonna be very frustrating for you. However, the killer has little benefit from it. When there are 3-4 survivors left on the match, trying to down your obsession and mori animation lock will give other survivors the opportunity to open the exit gates and get out.

Instead of killing her, if you hook the obsession and allow other survivors to be alturistic, you will have much more success finding, downing, and hooking other survivors.

Hey there. So, here's the thing: looking for some typical newbie advice.

I've owned the game and all the DLCs since the summer sale, and just got the Spirit DLC. But, I haven't had time to really jump into the game until now.

I plan to play both Killer and Survivor. Are there any specific Survivors or Killers I should focus on as a newbie? I'm not too concerned about climbing ranks per se. After two years in Overwatch and Paladins, I'm more than a little done caring about Rank. It'll happen as it happens. I'm just looking to have some fun.

Also, I hear HybridPanda has good videos. Are there any other YouTube channels you guys would recommend for getting familiar with the ins and outs of the game?

As a killer focus on Leatherface. He is easy to use and every single perk he has is very beneficial. With BBQ you will gain so much bloodpoints. Then, try to level up hag for her ruin.

As a survivor, focus on Claudette first. Get her self care. Then I would recommend Nea for urban evasion, Jake for Iron will because it is a little bit difficult to learn map layouts and pallet, window spawns at the beginning. It is better to start with stealth builds.

that is not what body blocking is...
body blocking is purposefully stopping your team mates from going through windows or narrow spaces

and on killer side body blocking is trapping someone in a corner or at the bottom of the basement stairs and never trying to down that person

If you use your body to block something, it is called a body block. What you describe is bannable acts. Body block becomes just a tool in this case.

For example, fast vaults are not bannable acts by any mean but if you do that in order to give away one of your teammates position to the killer, it becomes an offense.

Body block is also used when survivors try to prevent the killer from hooking and it is completely okay. I am sure blocking pallets is also okay.

in bannable acts it says "body blocking" so using that term for anything other than what the devs mean is idiotic and is part of the reason their report system is flooded constantly

so yes standing in front of the killer to stop them from hooking your team mate is okay, as is standing in the way of a pallet to stop it from dropping neither of those things are what the report system means by "body blocking" so it should not be what we mean either, call it meat shielding for all i care but dont call it body blocking

It is not idiotic. It is created by community and if the devs misused the term, it is their own fault. What you describe is taking the game hostage and griefing.

You can't change 25k people's mentality so they should explain which body blocks are allowed and which aren't.

Just change the way the bonus bloodpoints are awarded. WGLF and BBQ award the points after the match. No one left behind, Distressing, ToTH and the new killer addons give the bonus during the match. While it should be after the match.

Survivors just need a new perk that gimps their game while using it, but in return awards more points. Maybe something that reduces the terror radius of the killer for every survivor who uses the perk.
Additionally I would introduce a special item that slows gen repair speed by 50% but gives 100% bonus points for gen repairs.

I like that idea. Using a perk to gain more bloodpoints(survivor side) while auto reducing or eliminating the killers terror radius.

I don’t. Notice he said for everyone one running it, makes it stronger for everyone. Basically one Guy effects the whole team. I don’t want to lose my ears because some turd put in that perk

He also said for every survivor who uses the perk.

I mean English is not my native but I think it means survivors who do not use the perk will not be affected.

Pallet Stuns are bugged at the moment. They aren’t hitting when they are supposed to and just “bounce” Killers back a little. It’ll be more worth it when hey fix that.

1V4, 4 Survivors can work up just as much BP working together than a Killer on there own.

When's the last time you played both? It's far easier to get BP as a killer. Especially since the emblem rework and WGLF nerf. Jeeze I really hate when people are so full of themselves.

Okay kiddo lets calm it down with the insults, "full of themseleves." I play around 80% Killer, granted that is a bias opinion. But before you jump on your high horse, read what I said. Killers, statistically are at a disadvantage, k? Making it easier for one person, aka Killer, to make BP, k? Now, the other part, that you avoided, I mentioned that IF Survivors WORKED together, they would make just as much BP based on a 1v4 system. Now, would you calm those delicate feelz and reply with a constructive counter, instead of picking one line and throwing a toy or two out of the pram because someone disagreed with you?

Ok kiddo. How do you suppose 4 random survivors come up with a plan to work together? That sentence alone tells me you only play killer, be gone... can't be bothered with your biased opinion

"Loop when you're being chased and do gens when you're not" isn't exactly a difficult plan to follow yet it wins games

Still doesn't earn me 30k+ BP for hooking a few surivors. Try again loser.

survivors actually earn more BP over longer sessions as its quicker between games

Survival category is stupid, it needs more ways to get points.

There are still things here and there that need to be worked on, but overall, the game is in the best state it's ever been. There's a double BP event going on, so now seems like a good time to give the game another go.

Also, WGLF is not even in the top 5 used perks for survivors. While BBQ is strong #1

You'd think that would be a reason to think why survivors have 5 more broken perks than wgfl analogue that makes you grind faster ;)

It's not in top 5 because top 5 is so stupidly broken and survivors don't need to farm to be viable. They don't need items or addons and they even keep them if they survive -_-

Again, give me a single NEGATIVE effect if tokens were easier to get, and required less farming.

    1) economy problems. Killer and Survivor should be in equilibrium so that it does not become reason to play either side. Both sides should have balanced point gaining way
    2) look what happened when WGLF was 200%
    3) Less insensitive to help teammate. This is what this perk is for, right?
    3 is not enough?

Both sides should not be in equilibrium. We need more survivor players than killer players. This is why killer lobbies are really really bad.

Killer lobbies are bad now, they were bad before the bp event, and they were still kinda bad before the update. When I try to play the killer, I always wait.

Finding lobbies as survivor takes less than 5 secs though.

Since I seen a lot of fog travelers who wanted to buff WGLF, I wanted to give my 2 cents on it and hopefully you'll agree!

WHY IS WGLF WEAK COMPARED TO BBQ?

The main reason why WGLF is weak is because the requirement to gain a stack isn't the survivors objective and it's not reliable!

On the other hand, BBQ gives you stacks for rewarding the killer for DOING THEIR OBJECTIVE instead of not going out of your way to do something risky such as let's say "Hooking a survivor in the basement to gain a stack".

So here are my two suggestions on how we can buff WGLF while being balanced:

WGLF: (More Ways to Get Stacks)
Your few friends deserve the best protection. Each time you rescue or take a hit to protect a Survivor, repair a generator, stun the killer with a pallet, gain 20 % stackable bonus to all Bloodpoint gains up to a maximum of 60/80/100 %.The Bonus Bloodpoints are only awarded post-trial.

WGLF: (A Warning if The Killer is Coming)

Your few friends deserve the best protection. Each time you rescue or take a hit to protect a Survivor, gain 25 % stackable bonus to all Bloodpoint gains up to a maximum of 50/75/100 %. When you perform hook rescue, after 3 seconds, receive a notification if the killer is coming to you.

The Bonus Bloodpoints are only awarded post-trial.

The notification will warn you if the killer is coming by looking at how fast the distance between you and the killer is getting smaller! If the distance between you and the killer is getting small real fast then the notification will go off after 3 seconds but it wouldn't if the distance between you and killer gets bigger or it's inconsistent!

Thoughts, opinions? Leave your civil feedback below! :)

Sorry for not making your easy game more rewarding.

    That statement doesn’t make sense.

How doesn't it make any sense? The survivors already get rewarded with easy pips and easy pallet loops, why give them a reward for being dicks?

Giving more ways to get tokens to discourage farming = rewarding dicks?

Also, if you somehow didn’t notice, there’s way to many killers in matchmaking right now. Yet none of them are playing spirit. Care to explain why they are playing killer if it’s not for the new one? Oh right, for points.

You are arguing for no reason. What I have learned from this forum is that if the opposite side is biased, there is no way to convince them therefor no reason to continue to debate.

This forum is so divided. You can't even want additional ways to get tokens for BPs. Same people also cry about 'strong survivor meta build' which is borrowed time, adrenaline, DS, exhaustion perks etc. If the killer mains think about it a little bit more, if the WGLF gets buffed, survivors will have to sacrifice one perk slot.

    Spies from the Shadows
You see auras of 30/40/50% of crows in 8/10/12m. Crows in your terror radius have a 60/80/100% chance to be disturbed by injured survivors even if the survivor is crouched. Injured and dying survivirs attract more crows to land near them.

Kicking a generator will cause its aura to be white to you for 16/20/24s. During this time, it regresses at 130/140/150% normal speed. If the generator is interacted with before the time is up, the killer is notified and gains a 10% speed boost for 5/7/9s. Cooldown of 20s
(Survivors will be able to tell when a generator is under the surveillance affect by red sparks coming from it)

    Unrelenting
Missed attacks have a cooldown decrease of 20/30/40%. Succsessful attacks have a decreased cooldown of 12/15/18%.

    Monstrous Shrine
Hooks in the basement give 1/2/3 less chances to free self from hook. Time in the first and second phase are both decreased by 5/8/10%

I don't like the spies from the shadow changes tbh.

There are enough tunnelers in the game and tunneling is already powerful. No need to make it more powerful.

I'm just gonna say what I think quickly and let you all express your opinions here.
I don't see why killers are getting more bloodpoints on avarage than survivors, the bloodpoints should be splitted according to time and not to role, wether if you are a killer or a survivor, you're a human being behind a computer playing the same game, and it doesn't make sense to me that one player will make 23k bloodpoints and it would still count as a bad score(killer) and others would often finish a game with less than 10k points cause they got tunnled and proxy camped all game and had nothing to do about it... Point is.. The average bloodpoints per game should be around even for both killer and survivors, there is no reason for the killer to get more.. And I play mainly killer..
Another problem is how the campers and tunnlers get rewarded, the game is getting so frustrating to play at higher levels since basically 99 out of 100 killers got there by camping and assuring kills unfairly. And it rewards them with free pips.. Please help devs. listen out here.

The problem is not killers getting too much BPs.

The problem is that as a survivor, it is not in your hands to get BPs. You depend on others generally. How?

Chase points --> depends on the killer. If he is after an injured person, he is not gonna follow you. You can cleanse totems but it is not gonna give you much.

Alturism points --> depends on the killer and the survivor he is chasing. In addition to that, one of your other teammates can save the person as well.

Escape --> You can get camped and tunneled. When it happens, your best bet is your survivor friends. Most probably, you are not gonna survive.

Objectives --> When somebody is being chased, other 3 survivors generally repair different generators. If you complete a generator all by yourself, it gives you 1250 bps which is very low.

This is why it is very difficult to get BPs as a survivor. Killer is all alone while survivors fight with each other to gain BPs.

IMO, survivors should be considered as a team.

You complete a generator? Give 625 bps to everybody. In that way, the survivor who is being chased will be rewarded since he wastes the killer's time and contributes to the team.

You are doing gen while somebody else loops the killer? gain half of what he earns from evader.

Somebody is on the hook and there is a meg crouching near the hook to save the person. Take the agro and start to loop the killer to give Meg the opportunity to save.

Both sides struggle to gain BPs. Lowering one side is not a solution. Make it so the other side also earns more BPs.

  • Apart from not getting 1k bloodpoints, as a survivor, I actually kinda liked this new feature.

I don't remember if I got hit through a pallet today. I think instead of nerfing pallets for survivors, they actually buffed it.

    I miss 1k bps though...

  • I actually don't want this.

IMO, Levels should be an indicator of how much we play the game. We shouldn't have offerings/events to boost our level.

    Personal opinion though, can't argue.

He already walks slower during chainsaw. He also loses bloodlust when he revs up. Not hard to dodge if you time it right.

While that is valid your forgetting all his speed and control addons and how he can clear a map in 5secs

That's what makes him a unique and aa viabl high rank killer. Hillbilly and Nurse haven't had to need a rework for so long because they are balanced. There are ways to get away from both. But no so easy it's ridiculous.

I agree with you on billy.

Nurse is too OP though. If the player plays that killer well, there is almost no chance for you to win.

I'd love to know why with all those players i literally can't find a single match as killer...

Free weekend I believe. Most of them are noobies.

  • Healing should count as a token for WGLF tbh.

  • It gets additional effects.

    Devour hope 1 --> 5 hooks mori 24 meter.

Devour hope 3 --> 5 hooks mori 24 meter, 3 hooks exposed effect, 2 hooks %5 ms after hooking a survivor.

    Additional information is here.

The grind on this game is already unreal adding more what will probably be useless perks that i have to grind. 45-55k bloodpoints put in to each blood web at rank 50 and higher no thanks.

I don't understand your logic at all.

Instead of spending points in vain, you will have more ways to play the game.

If you think that the perks will be utterly useless, you don't need to get them, therefor you don't need to spend your bloodpoints to get them.

If you think that it will make it harder for you to get future new killer/survivor perks, why do you think that they can create good new survivor killer teachables but can't create normal perks?

IMO, perks are the things that make this game fun. I would love to see some new perks.

@DeadByFlashlight as i said, u can see in the screenshot below are less numbers and not so high % like in the upper and i got the emblem.. what should i translate? just use the context... pls

I have figured it out I think.

I don't know german but it was very important to know in this case unlike what you claim.

There is a red percentage as you can see there. Most probably, you unhooked people right in front of the killer and the killer downed them again. You lose points if you do that.

    Did you farm your teammates?

Edit; unsichere haken rettungen --> insecure hook rescues Google translate... Makes sense.
