I sometimes think that it is not. There are days when I get 5 rotten fields in a row. Getting the same realm is one thing, getting 1 map out of 20 maps, 5 times in a row is just meh.

I agree with you.
The devs have this false belief that getting kills=balance.
They don't think about how a killer gets his kills.
For example Freddy, leatherface and billy get their kills with entirely different mechanics.
You don't need to camp with billy, you don't need to tunnel with him. On the other hand, you have leatherface who camps his survivors 80% of the time. Freddy tunnels survivors to death.
While I agree that camping and tunneling are a part of the game, it doesn't change the fact that they are a boring part of the game. What devs need to look at is how many hooks a killer gets, how much time does he spend near hooks, and how many times the guy who is just unhooked gets hooked without anybody else getting hooked.
Killers might not need to think about survivors' fun but devs clearly have to. Releasing or creating killers that promote camping and tunneling is not a good way to go.

Also let's be fair which killer in the right mind if they hook someone and see all survivors or at least one anyway crouched right next to the hook ready to save would leave the hook. That's just pathetic and you might as well say "Hey survivors fancy a free win"I would?
Why not go and down the survivor that is crouching right next to the hook?

I have just been threatened with 2 LOLs today.
People were misusing it and mods decided to remove it. It was a good call.

I think billy should have his walking speed reduced to 110 considering he's really good at the map pressure.I disagree.
The main reason why 110% movement speed exists is because those killers have abilities that make loops very dangerous. For example, Shack is a very safe place for survivors against most killers but huntress can easily shot you and hag can trap and close the loop. If you redcu billy's ms to 110, he is gonna be one of the worst killers in the game.
@EntityDispleased said:
The main issue with LF is how slow he goes when revving up his chainsaw, and how his chainsaw Sprint doesn't make up for the lost distance. He revs up his chainsaw at 87.5% speed (I believe) and sprints at normal killer speed which is 115%. If you were to rev up the chainsaw while not being close enough to a survivor that you touch them, they have a really good chance at dodging your chainsaw by simply running straight because your chainsaw Sprint will end before you hit them.I understand they made his ability a high risk high reward type of ability but at this point the risk is so high that the reward doesn't seem that worth it.
I agree but I am not sure if we should do both. Leatherface should either get more ms when he is revving up or more speed while he is in the animation. I kinda like ms in animation more though.

Leatherface needs a reduced terror radius. Like 24m.And Billy's chainsaw noises need to be directional.
Yeah reduced terror radius and a little bit faster charge could make him a better killer.
Still wouldn't beat hillbilly but at least if we want to be sneaky, we can choose Leatherface.

Again, very simple: You wanna talk about the fun of winning and/or losing? Don't derail the discussion that's not talking about it.
This is the discussion.
Better watch out what questions you ask if you might not like the answer.
Weak killer that have a hard time killing someone are not "fun".
If that is "derailing" for you fine.
But how should it be fun to run around and achieve nothing, but a couple of hits..
As a killer I am enjoying chases that I can … guess what? drumroll ... WIN.I don't say I want an easy 4k every match (I just say that, because for sure some idiot will come and claim that), but "fun" is about achieving something. Down some people, hook some people, kill some people.
Hit and run would be fine -I play like that with Doc and Hag all the time- but it has to be meaningful to do so to be "fun".He specifically said that if you don't have fun because you can't get 4k or win, he is not interested in what you have to say.
If he didn't mention it, you would be right but I don't see any reason to discuss about it. You should understand his reason too because it is obvious that you don't have fun when you lose over and over again. Most probably he wants other reasons for why people find the legion fun or boring.
And here we go, the first one talking about a 4k.^^
I would give a well earned LOL, but the button is gone.
Nice attitude, "I don't like the answer, stop talking to me". overandout
Instead of realizing your own mistake and try to talk about what OP wanted to talk about, you 'threaten' somebody that is trying to help you with LOLs.
You are unreasonable, have a nice day.

Not everybody claims for that. The very evidence is in this thread.
Building tier 3 perks from the bloodweb has absolutely nothing to do with extra perk slots.
Not ever single perk is viable. Besides, some killer find particular perks more useful than the other. Choosing 4 perks among 122 is possible and easy. -

No wonder that ass killer is in the current top 3. He have basically no terror radius with monitor and abuse even at tier 2. basically he's a better wraith who don't even need to decloak and have instadowns when he needs io. Give him normal terror radius at tier 2 since his as trong as a trapper in that form, so M&A wouldn't make him bull$hit to play agains. As strong as trapper? Is trapper supposed to be a strong killer?
Myers is fine, just learn how to play as and against him.
Also he is not in the top 3 by a long shot. Nurse, spirit, billy, huntress and hag heavily mogs him to oblivion.

I look forward to him. Yeah, I see the videos, and understand the frustration. But everyone said the spirit was #########, and she is the only killer I love up in red ranks. So I tend to not listen until I have the controls myself. My friend played legion on ptb and said he hated him, but after a few days he loves him. So I guess its up to every player to see how he fit into their style. When I watched my friend play after he got somewhat good on him, I can say that I thought it looked really fun.
But I used to main hag, so speed has never been a thing for me

Spirit was ######### in the PTB though.
She wasn't able to hear survivors because of her loud phasing and the cooldown was really long.
After the changes, she became really cool.

Then play billy and nurse....... wheres my lul button btw?
I literally tried to get people to not bring up the fun aspect of winning/losing.
He is fun when you use your power, sense nearby survivors, ignore pallets and windows, run like a maniac. After that period, with 110% ms, he is a pain in the ass, get looped to oblivion and the fun you get just gets lost.
He is a frustrating killer and unlike what devs claim him to be, not fun at all. Imagine the fun you would have if you played huntress with no hatchets.

All the killers who can travel long distances in a short time are 110% speed. Spirit, hag, the legion and huntress ( can hit people from a long distance ) i seriously don't get why hillbilly is 115% speed. That just makes him overpowered, he can instadown people easily, he can find people easily and get to people quickly before they can hide. Billy should walk slower on his own.and all of those 110% ms killer has some kind of power against looping.
Billy doesn't have this therefor doesn't need any kind of nerf.
-
Billy is the most balanced killer out there.
He is very strong and has lots of potential, but when it comes to looping, him and leatherface is more or less the same (Though billy's chainsaw is much easier than leatherface's despite what people believe).
You have every single tool in your hand, not like when you face the nurse.
Nurse is the only broken killer in the entire game.
One thing is interesting though. A killer like hillbilly doesn't have any kind of weaknesses but wraith can get burned and the legion has 110% ms. Devs' idea of balance is rather different.

I'm talking about Survivors of course. I've been playing a couple of games tonight as Solo Survivor and I honestly have [BAD WORD] had it with my fellow Survivors.5 games had bad Killers who couldn't catch Survivors for #########, but still, the Killers ended up with 3-4 kills each round even though at the time of the Exit Gates becoming powered, there were still 3-4 alive.
I don't understand how you guys have the audacity to complain about how difficult your Survivor life if you throw games as soon as you get downed, don't cleanse totems and get caught by NOED or are so immensely altruistic that instead of just getting the [BAD WORD] out and sacrifice one of your team mates, you hang around for desperate unhook attempts that more often than not end with another 1-2 dead Survivors in the end.
I'd really prefer it if you guys could man up a bit, grow a pair, make the game more enjoyable for the Solos so that we don't have to hope "please don't be another group of idiots, please not another bunch of stupid Survivors" each and every single game we play.
It's no surprise that the average game ends with 2.5 dead Survivors if you guys practically [BAD WORD].
Well, survivor mains in this forum repeatedly tried to remind you that not everybody plays like the depip squad. Survivor mains themselves were the ones who were saying that playing solo was unbearable and their teammates were potatos. It is forum killers that come up with the worst case scenarios that could happen to killers and want to balance the game around it.
Now the same forum killers think that the hatch is completely unfair and should be eradicated because the work that the survivors do is not enough for them.
Just like you hope that the next match you don't get another stupid survivor team, survivors also hope that they don't get another unskilled camper and tunneler and actually play the game with generators, chases, savings etc. I tried to leave the match as soon as possible so that I wouldn't get the same camper over and over again.
I just thanked a huntress today just because she didn't camp in the Lery's today.
There is not much difference between survivors and killers. Threads like this serves no purpose either.
-
Actually if the legion had no red stain, no terror radius, was able to crouch like a survivor and at the same height with survivors, and had 3rd person view with 110% ms, he would be really really fun to play and play against.
At that point, I don't even care if I got a kill or not. That would be great.

Wake up is such a garbage perk.
Just by looking around you when the last generators are completed, you can see where the exit gates are. I can do that even when I am in a chase.
You can make an educated guess about which doors will be opened by your fellow survivors. Showing you whether survivors are opening the door is kinda helpful but not really much.
2.5 seconds is like nothing imo. I accept that I have had matches from which I could escape if only I had 1 more second to open the exit gate. However, compared to rest of the matches, you can ignore those matches.
I put wake up in the same category with unrelenting. If you are a newbie, it is a perk that you can use but when you pass rank 15, there are way more helpful perks.

Simply because people don't agree with him and just want to be toxic."Vote Up" should be the only option you get.
PS. I'm sure this post will get 10 LOL's by the end of the day. And I know who will be giving them too. The irony is they are actually the joke around here.
I agree with this.
Downvote option is actually better than LOL imo.
-
Would you mind if I ask you who the community is?
Don't you see the forum? Do you actually believe that we can agree on creating a survivor or a killer?
According to survivors, every new patch is another way that the devs hold killers' hands, according to killers, every new patch is another way that the devs show their gratitude for their larger playerbase.
People start to complain after every single new chapter release, throw insults at the devs, everybody starts to talk about hop OP the opposite side's perks are.
I hope they don't listen to community at this point. They should choose a couple of veterans who play the game consistently and instead of whining, trying to improve themselves. Make them play the killers before the PTB, get their opinion and build their own ideas on top of it. -

You think camping and tunneling isn't "toxic"?
It ruins peoples game.As much as I hate camping and tunnelling, I don't think they are toxic.
Ruining people's game is something that you purposely do it like tbagging, flashlight clicking or hitting survivors on the hook.
If we call camping and tunneling toxic, then the killers can call flashlight saves, DS, genrushing toxic too since it ruins the game at least for them. What? Teabagging doesn't affect your game play. Neither does being hit on hook.
Flashlights are part of the game that can be played around easily.
They are taunting you. Keep in mind that I never get taunted by hitting people on the hook or tbagging or flashlight clicking. I am talking about an average killer.
I never claimed flashlights are difficult to play around. Flashlight clicking and actually using them are completely two different things.
Barring a macro to crash the game, flashlight clicking is also perfectly fine.
It can be an annoyance, but that's the purpose - to draw the killer's attention/ire.Oh since you think camping is okay, I assume it is not toxic.
Since annoying people like tbag or flashlight clicking is not toxic, there is no toxicity in the game?

Since the perk now uses DW, there's literally ZERO reason not to tunnel the person that was unhooked, as the amount of effort in downing the unhooker (if they're healthy) is literally the same, without the potential of the unhooked BT survivor going down for you to search for after you get the unhooker. Plus, they're up a hook state, which instantly makes switching a bad move now.
It also provides extra incentive to camp the BT user out of the game on the first hook, as you'll lose more than two minutes restarting a chase from scratch (thanks to the DW) over multiple unhooking instances.
I don't initiate a fight here but you make absolutely no sense.
In the first paragraph, you say that tunneling the hooked survivor is better because him and his rescuer takes the same amount of effort. Why would you tunnel the hooked person if not it is easier? If we are talking about hook states, it is the same before the change. Borrowed time change doesn't affect it.
After this you say that BT user should be camped. Then why on earth, have you tunneled the first person? Get the borrowed time user and camp him instead of tunneling the unhooked survivor.
It seems to me you are just salty and throwing
How am I going to know that someone is running Borrowed Time without hitting the unhooked survivor first?
Why would I go for the uninjured survivor if I don't have this information?
Why do you say that you are gonna camp the borrowed time user than?
Also, next time the same thing will happen again. Though it seems it is desirable to go after the injured survivor, in the long run, borrowed time user will get another chance to rescue the hooked survivor.
If anything, borrowed time change doesn't encourage people to camp or tunnel. Forum users, both survivors and killers, are ready to threaten anything they don't want. It doesn't help at all.

It is clear that the devs judge the game by the way they play it. It might be too difficult for them to deal with this killer but the legion is quite manageable.
There were discussions about which killer was the worst killer in the game. Some people would say Freddy, some would say Leatherface, and others would say the Pig but after his release, this killer will be officially the worst killer because they refuse to listen to anybody.

I am not even sure they will say SoonTM after what happened with spirit release.
