I used to hate facing swf, and then I got better. I am not saying that I dont get wrecked by some groups, but there is no game ever made where I will be the best always. There will always be those who are better, in everything.
But you learn, and thats just that.
I got into this game by playing with my brother, and no, we dont use party chats (ps4), because that is not the reason we play it together. But this is a fun party game too, my friends and I never use voice chat, but to take away the ability to play with your friends, no thanks. I am a solo survivor 85% of the time, but those 15% with my brother or friends, is the most fun times ever. Not because we are toxic or epic in any way, we die as much as we survive....
Yes, some groups abuse it, I know, I face them every day (thats why I save my moris
)
But they far from ruin my game experience, because most of the time, they just think they are amazing and the matches are over quickly. Some matches makes me wanna pull my hair out and scream every bad word in every language I know, but after cracking up a new cold Monster and getting some fresh air, you realize that it was one bad apple in a huge bowl of better ones.
Everyhing got better after I realized that I am no gaming god that needs to win every time. Some games I rule, and some games I stand in the corner, hoping they will leave me alone

Been working all weekend, so I got my 9th coin today. I really dont think this was a very hard grind, altough it should be easier to obtain the offerings, because really, if you want any points as a killer, you rely on the offerings.
I only got one match where all 5 used an offering, but also that time everyone dc'd the first 2 minutes

I have wanted this since the perk came out. I think that kicking gens should do more than it does right now. And I dont think it would be OP and survivors need to be compensated for it, because really, kicking a gen should do more and it is stupid that it is so useless.
I dont think that campers will camp less, because some people just have that playstyle no matter what. I mean, I face countless of killers that have bbq, but camp first hook, 5 gens up and ruin still going, so I mean, if you play like that, nothing really matters. But it could make the game more enjoyable for those of us who dont have camping as our strategy. -

Bringing a hex perk is a gamble, it is rare that the totem lasts the majority of the game.
Myself has started next to a burning totem plenty of times amd I feel giddy as hell, so it would be a pretty twofaced thing to dc when it happens to me.
But same, been having people dc for that same reason many times. -
Well, today someone called me a nazi cripplet who had baby bears in my basement and I was adopted.
Just because I gave it a go a tried to save someone who was facecamped. Should just have let him hang there. -
Well, I managed to take out a very toxic player, and he responded by sending me two screencaps of him being nr 1 in fortnite.
Yeah.... Dont know if he wanted me to use them as wallpaper or not?
Haha, I still look at those fortnite pics sometimes, just when I need to remind myself of the logic of people sometimes.
Otherwise when I 4k, I mostly just get trash for being a noob girl who just picked up a game. Pushing 1800 dbd hours, but oh well.

Probably just farming shards? Wanted the game to drag out so he got as many as possible without ranking up. Seen it many times when new dlc's come out

Never. I love them. I like to face them as survivor, because it forces me to learn a new type of game play, which is always welcomed. And now my other killers can have a rest because I only play legion atm and have a blast with it.
People grind or pay for the character. If they think its fun and love it, then the entertainment level of others should not matter. There are killers I hate to face, but that does not give me the right to expect them to stop playing them for my sake. -
Well, huntress lullaby dont need to be a hex, since it usually takes some time to get it to full effect. But ruin? No thanks. When I use it as killer, I dont need it to be up the whole game. Just like monto says, its just there to slow down the game just a little bit.
But then again, there are much more reliable perkbuilds to slow people down then hex ruin. It should stay a hex, because it doesnt need to be more meta than it already is. And dont get me wrong, I used to hate it being found 10 seconds into the match, but also, as I got better, I use it less and less.
Now, to ask why a game should think of noobs only? I dont think in a game where so many killers and survivors rank down to stay in noob levels is to only think about potatoes, is it? And as you say, have rank 20-15 be protected from a perk like ruin, not as a hex, then how are they supposed to learn the game? If it is all cakewalk up to 15, and then being hit in the face with harder gameplay and not have been able to learn everything. New players rank up way too fast as it is, and get to ranks where they are far from ready to be in. Just because you have played the game for some time, does not mean that all have. There are new players joining all the time. Maybe you should just do as so many great killers out there, and find ways to make your games less focused around ruin. Because I find the perk more useful when you try and learn the ropes with killers, than when you are confindent in your skills, kind of like bloodhound and other tracking perks. -
Yeah, happened to me today too. Almost made me choke on my candy cane
But restarting fixed everything, and it was the first time I bought it in game, because usually I go to the store first before I start the game. -
Finally. That is great news. Every time I used any 100% bp offerings today it has crashed, unlucky enough, so this is awesome.

I have a similar one to Jeffs, and Fengs is something I would wear, being a gamer since my brother got his nintendo 8 back in 94
But Ace and Adam is probably the most christmasy ones. And Kate and Nea..... Pretty sure I will just end up owning them all, haha. -

Using hex perks is always a risk. Every killer should know that. Survivors find them, and break them, and why shouldnt they? It is kind of the point.
Yeah, I get annoyed when mine are broken 5 secs into the game, but I always know there is a chance that will happen, and you cant dc for that. When it comes the hexes, its just the way it is. -
Since the winter event started I have opened gifts and got 54 ebony in 2 days, and with the old, I have 207. I only have mori mondays so....

No thanks. I love my Frankie, and he is all I play atm. Some players will hate them, and some players actually learn and enjoy playing legion. I am rank 3 now, and learn more and more. Love that they are different from other killers, and I get 3k or 4k every time. And no, I do not tunnel or camp, because that has never been my playstyle, nor will it ever be. I have more precious things to do than watch someone hang. Not my idea of a fun game. (Not attacking people who does, because we all do what works for ourselves, just saying I dont like it)
I agree, there can be some changes here and there, but I would never want it deleted.
And, as a survivor, there are counterplays, you can learn many things by watching different streamers on twitch or youtube. Thats how I learn and improve. And basically, a chase with legion takes no longer or shorter than a chase with most other killers, if you know what you are doing.
As most say when either side is being buffed or nerfed, adapt. -

Was rank 1 too when he came out and I expected to get stomped on. But I had real fun, and the bad matches I got 2 kills. If you dont count a few losses to well oiled swf, but as in every game, some people will always be better than you, thats life.RotBb said:

I have p3'd them now and are back at rank 5. So I agree with you, because I love them. Just had to change my playstyle completely, and it was fun.
But I play survivor too half the time, and at first, when I faced legion, he/she got wrecked. It was a sure escape for all. But this weekend, I have met a few legions that have got mostly 3k but even 4k. They have shown tactics that I never even thought about when I play Frank.
So maybe, just maybe, the legion is trash for some people, and fun for some. But thats the case for all the killers, only the legion takes a bit more adjusting, and you have to be willing to put the effort in. Legion and spirit are the only ones I play atm, and both were trashed in the ptb. -
I like him/her too. Some parts needs some work, but it is different. I havent been completely trashed, and have done a few 4k. I was scared since I am rank 1 that it would be a nightmare, but I've had good fun all day trying out perk builds.
Good thing we all think different, we cant all like the same thing. My spirit gets some well needed off time

I will buy the whole thing when it drops as I always do.
Not only to support the game I love, but no matter what people say from the ptb's, I am always excited to try the new content.
And I love all the perks, the map and think it will be fun to try legion out, so Rin can have a break I am ready.

I played killer against this really toxic swf group, and I was quite tired so I wasnt really prepared. It was hell really. The game ended, and I cut my losses and started a new lobby. Now, the same group joined right away....
Yeah, so long story short. I came prepared this time, took my girl Rin and just decided to slug them all. Took about 3 mins, and then I hooked all of them. It was over so fast and the after game hate was over the moon, but I just sat back and enjoyed it. Karma....
I usually dont let some toxic behaviour bother me, but this group really went out of their way, you know the type. So it felt good, I cant deny that.

I look forward to him. Yeah, I see the videos, and understand the frustration. But everyone said the spirit was #########, and she is the only killer I love up in red ranks. So I tend to not listen until I have the controls myself.
My friend played legion on ptb and said he hated him, but after a few days he loves him. So I guess its up to every player to see how he fit into their style. When I watched my friend play after he got somewhat good on him, I can say that I thought it looked really fun.
But I used to main hag, so speed has never been a thing for me

Yeah, most clowns I face get outplayed quite good. Most have to resort to camping to even get a kill. I am rank 2 atm.
With that being said, I love playing the clown and consider myself quite good by now. And I do face a few clowns that is shutting loops down like a boss. But I would not say he is op in any way. He is like the rest, if you master him, he can really do good, but like most, it takes skill when you face the really seasoned survivors. -

3 kills is still a win.
Maybe you should lower your satisfaction level. In your post, I see no reason why the devs would even consider changing the hatch. Clearly you are doing fine, and the survivors are damn good at finding it before you. Maybe this is 46 matches where you camped the hook instead of looking for the last one? See no other chance that the hatch could be found so many times in a day and you didnt. -

I play Freddy and just pick one of them to follow around.
So many crawls behind things just waiting for the humming to pass, even in red ranks these days. Sad really. But when you have played weekends 15 hours in a row, then it is a fun break.
As a survivor, I had fun with a clown. I hid in the grass (knowing he saw me) but when I didnt run, he stared at me, then turned and left, used urban evasion to follow him, and every time he turned around I just sat there, not moving and looking at him. I think he was more scared of my Nea. It was good fun. You just need to rest your head sometimes. -
I envy those who can master her on ps4. When we hear her on console, my sigh in relief because 95% of the time you know you will live. Sadly, that also means you only face her 1 or 2 times every now and then.lyric said:

I am so happy as killer on ps4 atm. I create a lobby and survivors pop up instantly. Never been like this before, so I am riding this wave and can play killer every match.
Seeing my fave streamers on pc struggle though to get into matches, which is sad, but the guy above did the math, so it makes sense. But before this week, you could wait forever on ps4 too.... -
Faced the hag last week, and she wanted to farm but I didnt know that. So we went into a chase, but she never hit me, and all of a sudden she went into bloodlust 3 and ran past me, turned around and ran staring at me backwards. I figured then she was up to something, but I didnt stop running for a while, because having the hag infront of me, super fast, looking at me, and the she started to run in circles, still staring at me, was the funniest thing. She looked so adorable and stupid.
Good match though, she farmed with us all and then surprised us with NoED. She got her 4k, the little rascal.

I play Identity V as well and their version of whispers is one of the better "perks" to have because the range is much tighter. It was a four claudette swf, where everyone bodyblocked, and when I still got the hook, all of them ran around the hook, trying to get the save, and yet they thought I was camping for not leaving. Well, if everyone is there, and I know it, and I see them, in their mind, I should still go and check the gens, because its the decent thing to do.
Camping used to bother me so much, I got so angry, but now I am more upset if I see 3 survivors go for the save when I get camped, instead of actually doing something. Now, camping might not be a tactic I care for, because if I spent all this money on the game, dlc's and cells just to stand and keep someone company while they die, well, thats just no fun what so ever to me, me personally think its boring and useless, but to some it is their way of playing, and everyone should play how they want, but if I get camped, I use it as a break in the game to check my instagram, or watch my favorite streamer, or just go get that leftover chimighanga and enjoy that, prepare for the next hours of games that might be better.
The sooner you realize that some camp and some dont, well, the sooner you can save your bloodpressure and your sanity. And I play both on rank 1, and as a survivor, even I root for the killer to camp sometimes, because really, some players really deserves it. Just saying, we survivors are no saints, you know, the killers are not to fault for everything. -
A million and a half each day. Had some vaccation days left from work, so I could play all weekend. Could have gotten more, but every time I ended up in a group with 4 bloody PS, the killer dc right away. All monday it was like that.
But it was a good event all in all. -

The CD, is what I would change first. No other killer have to wait that long in order to use the power. Or keep the CD, but make it so that the player decides when they want to end the phase walk, much like wraith, pop out when you want to. That would be lovely.
I really love her, been playing her all weekend, so much fun, but she needs some love from the devs when it comes to her power. -

Spirit fury for sure, it fits so well with some of my builds.
And I really wanna try deliverance out, even if I probably wont use it that much, but it sounds fun for some matches. Atleast my alturistic builds. Along with autodidact.

Based on the talk we had, if they made little short movies about the characters, that could be unlocked, and for us who have played for some time and probably met the requirements to unlock it, then yes, a library to collect that and the lore would be a good thing. Its not needed now, as the lore is on the wiki, but we were talking about something else, thats not even in the game. So it was an answer based on that discussion.Orion said:@AmorePrincess said:

Maybe more of the concept of the game, that people get taken by a dark entity and have to survive a set of brutal killers. And ofc, repairing generators isnt the whole movie concept, but more a survive the trials to be free again. Just you know, the idea and story of the game, and not so much how the game is played.
So just like the intro that has nothing to do with how the game actually plays.

And a few years back they made a movie based on battleship, that didnt mean we had to sit and watch different colored plastic things fall down from the sky on a blue screen to guess where the ships where placed.
This would therefor not be the first game to make a movie "based on" the game. Nothing strange about it.
