Leaving that aside, I looked at your profile. I did notice one thing, and that's that you've been banned before. Feel free to correct me, but I'm guessing it was for being rude to other players, which you seem to do an awful lot with very little provocation.
You may be well-known, but so was Hitler. The fact that a lot of people agree with things you've said is neither impressive nor admirable. What is both impressive and admirable is being able to hold a conversation with someone that doesn't agree with you without mocking them or throwing thinly-veiled insults around. People will be more likely to take you seriously if you can make your argument without attacking anyone else, or saying they're "hilarious" in lieu of an actual argument.
In the meantime, does anyone know if there's a way to close my own topic? I feel like we're not actually talking about the original point anymore, and anything worth saying has already been said (on BOTH sides of the discussion, before anyone starts accusing me of trying to censor people that don't agree with me).

I sent you my profile. I opened up my achievements. No idea why. Been rank 1 on both sides for a very long time. Yeah I'm in a DBD competitive group that someone invited me to a long time ago. The problem is that anyone can get to rank 1. So you have people like me and 90% of the rank 1's that don't belong there and don't want to be there.
You know your game is pathetic when you are banning people for trying to enjoy your game. People that wish to play the game for fun and derank are getting banned. Never heard of anything like that in other game. More bans you give out, the more people that are going to realize that your games not fun. Just going to lose more and more players. Seems like a really stupid way to handle the situation.

Also, I believe what @GrannyonAcid was trying to say wasn't that the game was too competitive, quite the opposite. It's too easy to rank up, so getting to rank 1 isn't a real achievement. Anyone who is halfway decent and plays frequently enough can do it, so in that sense it's not very competitive at all, because you don't really have to compete to get there.
furthermore, the last few forum randos who claimed to be rank1 survivors saying the game isnt competitive at all, were proven to be fakes when we checked their profiles.

You literally CANNOT double pip by camping and it's highly unlikely that you'll single pip or maybe not even black pip if you camp against a competent team.
You lose points in Chaser from camping which is obvious. You'll also lose points in Maliciousness because you're not hitting people more than the one who you've decided to camp. You'll lose points in Gatekeeper because they're doing gens. You'll lose points in Chaser even more because you're not in chases. You'll lose points in Devout because more than likely if you face camp vs a competent team, you're not getting more than 2 and maybe not even more than 1.

Camping is definitely not a strat and they know it. By camping, if the survivors are competent you pretty much only get 1 kill and everyone, killer included, gets ######### for points.

sc takes about 20secs at half speed (or something similar) you are saying to find another player (which may or may not still be alive) to then force them to spend 10seconds of their time AND 10seconds of yours (back to 20secs of survivor time spent), not to mention time it takes to find them, get to them, and get them to start healing.
your numbers dont add up. it is irresponsible to not run sc -
