Was the key green or not?
Green keys can not open hatches, you need purple or skeleton (red) keys.
Other than that, I don't know. I have used my keys without any problem.

I had an escape daily for ace and no matter what, it wasn't accepted. I had to skip it too.

1.WGLF buff (healing tokens)
2.Ability to choose 2 or 3 perks per bloodweb
3.Freddy rework -
Yeah sometimes I have to wait for the survivor with high ping to leave the lobby and if they don't, I get punished for dodging and waiting survivors to join.
Survivors should be able to see other survivors pings (I don't know if it is possible)
Killer and survivors should be able to kick a survivor only because of his/her ping (+200). Otherwise people are gonna abuse it. -

I would add in you don't get a unhook stack unless it's a safe unhook but should allow you to get a stack if your hit doing a unhook and 2 if grabbed while trying to save themYeah I was gonna add it but for some reason, decided to not to.
I think we shouldn't get a stack if we don't do a safe hook. At least in this way, people might bring borrowed time to get their stacks safely, and provide a chance for the survivor they saved.

I don't know, even though spirit's world is bad, I find Freddy's world better than before at least the swamp and estate are really cool.
It's just me though.
-
I agree.
It is stupid and it actually affects gameplay. Allow me to equip franklin's or whatever I need or want to in order to fight your flashlights, toolboxes, medkits etc. I also tend to not play hag if the survivors have more than 1 flashlight.
It is one of the most scummy things in this game and should be solved.

Killers don't need to block anyone, because they can always see the lobby. They can dodge. They would dodge.
Survivors can't see the killer. They would start blocking killers. Just like they did in the past with MLGA. Giving us the ability to block players would result in the same issues we had before. History would repeat itself.
I'm not saying that survivors are evil and killers are angels.
I fully recognize that killers dodge.
This is the entire problem
Why killers get to recognize survivors and dodge the lobby but not survivors? Either let them both know who they are facing and block them, or nobody knows who they are up against.
We already have issues with killers dodging lobbies, might as well have issues survivors dodging killers. Why does the killer get the right to do so?
Oh wait killers are the power role right. I forgot.

I think I made my point clear. Or should I repeat, why killers don't need that system? @Tsulan said:
Because survivors would block good killers, because they got outplayed.
System would be heavily abused.
Yes you did.
Killers already have that system so when they get outplayed, they can block good survivors.
So adding this system would benefit survivors not killers since killers already have it.
Since it is something that is in favor of survivors but not killers, it shouldn't be in the game. Only killers can abuse something like this, survivors shouldn't have this kind of advantage.
Clear
Missed the MLGA part? Devs had to act and remove it from the white list. Because survivors black listed every killer for the most ridiculous reasons. Like for example playing Freddy.
Now that hurt the matchmaking badly, because they then dodged to many killer lobbies and no one could really play.
Survivors abused MLGA. It happened once, it would happen again.
No I didn't. MLGA is not an ingame feature, it is a program and survivors don't have access to that program all the time like killers can dodge. We are talking about an ingame feature, if survivors use MLGA all the time, might as well introduce the ingame block.
Yes as if killers don't dodge lobbies when they see p3 claudettes, flashlights, toolboxes, too many jakes, bright colored cosmetics. I have heard all of these excuses from forum killers. Again we are not saying that survivors or killers wouldn't abuse it. Everytime you try to vilify survivors, I will say the same thing for killers because players are the faulty ones, not a certain group. If a survivor dodge a killer for a ridicoulus reason, then you can be damn sure that something just as stupid is coming from the killer side.
This is the core discussion. I don't believe that @Vietfox or anybody who argues with you in this discussion want an ingame block. You try to make it look like survivors are satanic creatures that would mess up everything and abuse it, whereas killers are angels so you don't even need to mention them.
This is the reason why again @Vietfox said 'players instead of survivors'. I have no doubt that survivors would abuse it, just like killers.
-

Same can be said for killers. You could just have said "players", but noooo, only survivors lol.Well I base that statement on MLGA. I can't really recall any killers blocking survivors issues.
Survivors blocking killers on the other hand... made the devs take that program from the white list. The reason why killers don't use MLGA is because they don't have to. They can see survivors' names and dodge. They can even control people's steam accounts.
At least it is much more difficult for survivors.

Killers like Nurse goes into full chase mode, gets 10 hooks, 2 kills.
This is the reason why on the paper, these 2 killers seem like they are close to each other but in reality, you can't even compare them with each other.
Wait how do you only get 2 kills as Nurse? I've always 4 manned or gave last guy hatch and I'm rank 8 killer right now. Yeah the matchmaking is broken I don't even play much killer and I'm rank 8.
I don't play nurse, I just gave an example.
Not all leatherfaces end up getting 2 hooks and 2 kills as well.

Glad you decided to play Huntress.Try to play top tier killers if it is your first time. Bottom m1 killers are frustrating as hell.
If he never plays killer then he's rank 20 and all killers are OP at rank 20. You could literally play any killer with no add ons or perks and get 4 kills at rank 20. Newbs are that bad. Congrats on your 4k though.
All killers are op at rank 20 but if he plays all killers, he can't become really good with one or two before reaching fun ranks.
He can play badly and learn the nurse at low ranks, they will bully his nurse at rank 1 though. Learning difficult killers at low ranks is better imo but you are right as well.
True, but more than likely he/she won't be rank 1 any time soon and can switch to nurse after the first 50 games or so which won't give him rank 1.
Yeah he definitely shouldn't play killers until he learns the maps first. I think it is best to start to learn difficult killers at yellow ranks.
For somebody that has FPS history, huntress is one of the best choices for beginners though.

This. The pips are really unbalanced. It takes ages to rank up as survivor, even when I play well the situation only offers me 1 pip at best.
As killer after reset its 2 pips every game almost.
They can't change it though.
As a killer, it is in your hands to pip. As a survivor, you can come across with farmer teammates, useless teammates, campers, tunnelers, unskilled killers etc. All of them affect your pipping and at best you will black pip.
It is fundamentally flawed.

I like SFTS. I run it on pig and it proves to be useful in almost every match. Silly survivors and completely ignoring crows. xDSpies from the shadows is actually a decent perk for killers that have instadown abilities or huntress.
Survivors think that they are hidden and safe, so you catch them in an open area nowhere to go. I used to use it on my huntress and got a lot of easy downs thanks to that perk.
It shouldn't be RNG though. 100% wouldn't hurt at all.
-
I think that even if they buff it, people still wouldn't use the perk. Devs are taking a wrong path when it comes to perks.
They think that a perk is good when a perk is okay or not very usable which shouldn't be the case.
There are somewhat decent perks but I don't think that they can replace perks like adrenaline, ds, sc, borrowed time etc. Same goes for the killer perks like BBQ, NOED, enduring etc.
When they are creating perks they should ask themselves whether the players would want to change their perk setup or not. If the answer is no they should keep improving it.
Think about deja vu. Even if that perk showed every single generator's aura during the whole match, survivors still wouldn't use it. For the perk itself, it feels really strong and OP but when you compare it with adrenaline, you understand that even in that state, people still wouldn't touch it.
So you are left with useless junk that can only be used when you are drunk.

I almost always as a killer go after the unhooker if it's an unsafe unhook because I know what it feels like to get screwed like that. I can usually find the unhooked person a lot of times anyways, especially if it's a swf because they'll stay around.
oh I do the same, but it is clearly different than tunneling or camping. I blame my teammates not the killers when something like that happens.
It sucks but it is my teammate's fault.

We need a graveyard man with a chain and a religious themed killer for this game.

This is more clustered. If u trap them in the basement to wait our borrowed time ur fine, but trapping them for several minutes is reportable and can get u banned
Yeah I was gonna say forcing them to leave the game but I couldn't find a reason to make my sentence longer. I should have specified it.
It is also okay to trap people to force the RBT kill with the pig.

@powerbats said:
You're not entitled to that 4tk kill, and if you want to remove the hatch then you'd better be prepared to go find that survivor since they're not coming out. Don't like it well get ready for 20-40 minutes games of trying to find them and those tracking perks like whispers, Spies from the Shadows, Myers/Pig/Wraith addons well those all go bye bye as well.
You think it's bad now trying to find an immersed player well it'll be 100x worse since everyone will start going with darkest offerings and characters.
Exactly.
They tried to implement the hatch closing mechanism, survivors either gave themselves to the killer or killers rage quitted because they weren't able to find the last survivor. I myself had to leave a couple of matches in the PTB.
People have to understand that this game is not a teamwork for survivors. In some situations sure I should be punished for the mistakes that my teammates did but I should be able to play as a lone wolf if I have to.
-
I think grind for addons and items are okay. Please don't forget, at one hand killers have insta chainsaws, 3rd blinks, omegablinks, inta hatchets, at the other hand survivors have insta heals and worse purple and skeleton keys that ends the game instantly.
The only problem is perks and I believe they should let us get 2 or 3 perks (preferably 3) per bloodweb. The game is not meant to be played with ultra and very rare addons all the time.

I think items, addons are fine as it is. It is just getting perks. I hope this change makes it to the mid chapter.

I have made really cool plays with that perk against nurses who used nurse's calling. In mid chase you can actually make them lose you. It is a really useful perk.

Yeah I agree.
Both killers and survivors think that they have the higher ground but at the end of the day, neither side is actually worse than the other because people are just the same. They have different tools to threaten, that's it.

I think I am done with the game for today o_O
I always laugh when it's either a P3 or legacy Nurse that camps at 5 gens and it's even more funny when it's a 4-5 blink nurse. Then post game they complain about being gen rushed.
1st game for me was against a really good Legion on Yamaoka Estates they ran NC/M&A with ultra rare and very rare, not for the mend but to sneak up on heals. They 4k'd us by playing really well.
There is a real correlation between being bad at the game and camping that is for sure. If it is a nurse doing that, it is almost certain.
Campers don't usually trust their chase skills. Usually what should happen in a game should be this. Find a survivor, chase him and down him within a reasonable time, let one of the survivors to rescue him while you chase another survivor.
1 in chase, 1 on the hook, 1 trying rescue someone, only 1 left for the gens. If you manage to get your second down until they rescued the survivor and healed them, you almost stop the game for survivors and start to snowball.
IF you play killers like leatherface, wraith, pig etc. I can understand that but if you are a nurse who is the best chaser in the game and have to camp one guy, I can only be sad for you.
-
If survivors are too close to hook, camp.
If survivors are too far away from the hook, camp.
If you see 3 survivors working on other 3 generators and 70 seconds passed, think that they are going to finish the generators anyway, camp.
If the survivors have certain perks, camp.
If survivors are gen rushing and you lost 3 gens before your first down, camp.
If your ruin and 5 gens up but you managed to get one down, take advantage of it, kill him so that you can have a better match with 3 people for the rest of the trial, camp. These are the excuses I have heard from the killers. Killers who don't camp still don't camp. This patch didn't change anything for campers or tunnelers, didn't create 'more camping' killers.
These kind of threads where killers say that they are going to camp more because x happened doesn't change anything. Truly pointless.
-
Are you asking me whether I enjoy seeing the legion's ass as I go down?
No
-
I have seen some streamers doing this.
I believe usual response will be 'we don't active punish people for doing that but if anticheat program detects something problematic, and bans you, there is nothing we can do.'

So you're ragequitting which is against the rules. It flat out says rage quitting in the report listing. Killing yourself on the hook IS currently against the rules, they just don't enforce it.
Killing yourself on the hook IS NOT currently against the rules. If it is, it is pretty dumb tbh.
-
Instead of blaming the game, try blaming yourself. Half of what you said didn't happen to me at all. It seems to me you make a lot of mistakes.
-
It is hardly a nerf to other aura reading abilities and addons other than BBQ tbh.
Risking to getting in a locker against a mirror Myers is the stupidest idea I have ever heard of. It is easy to get away from him but by any chance, if he sees you, you are done if you are going into a locker.
By the time you know that the pig is around with her letter, it is already too late. Again, instead of looping the ######### out of her, choosing to go into a locker is a very poor choice. The same goes for the wraith.
I am not saying that locker change was the most brilliant idea ever but it hardly makes a difference with thse situations.
I think that killers should get something in game 'that is not a perk' to compensate this change. I don't know what though.
-
