So when Leader says "all actions" does that include vaulting?Wow it would be nuts.
Does it affect yourself as well? I wonder.
No but 4 leaders will now increase your vaulting speed by 100%. Holy #########. I love the Prove thyself buffs too, I think solo survivor is getting some love finally. It's still not as strong as Billy or Hag (the ideal killers it should match up to) but it's getting there
Leader never affected the user himself, only other survivors. So it's 75% tops, not 100%.

Originally when the healing took 12 seconds, Self Care only added 6 seconds which made it take 18 seconds. The healing Nerf was a dramatic change though. With the base healing time being 16 seconds, that would add 8 seconds to the timer making SC take 24 seconds and was wasting a ton of time.Wrong - to heal yoursef, before requed to made a 12 charges. if that is onother survivor - then he heals you with 1 charge per second. With self-care you making 0.5 charges per second. so it takes 24 seconds to heal.
with new change it takes 16/0.5 = 32 seconds to heal your self up.Sloppy Butcher - ok, wrong again, 16/(1-20%) = 20
but with self care - 16/((1-50%)-20%) = 40 seconds of self-care OW YEAH!but you tryed! you need to check sometimes what is goin on on wiki!
I might just have math difficulties but that math you showed looks waaaaay off..

Meh. Just fodder for cattle.

See Injured Survivor.
Have Frank's Mixtape Add-on.
Hit Survivor twice in Feral Frenzy.
Survivor Down.
GG NO RE -
Not really.. unless you're playing Claudette.
Do it if you like the character. -

Lol. People are praising devs for removing something they should not have put in a game in a first place. We'll never know how hard it was with the spaghetti code that's the developers' programming.

Do they really need to player test hiding the killers perks? xD Just do it already and I'll start playing again. They're gonna see how much of an impact it will have on the survivors. If the developers hear too much negativity coming from them due to this change, that they cannot tell their friends if the killer has NOED or not, then they'll probably remove the change outright.
-
Technically 30%, since its one for each other survivor.
The thing is though.. only ONE Prove Thyself can be active at once in a party of four survivors working on the same generator.. which is off-set by all people having Leader.. by.. like.. a lot..EDIT: Leader doesn't buff repair speed up to 25% btw, only everything else.
-
Urgh.
-
I can agree with this.

@Acromio said:
Now survivors can gen rush even harder. Fantabulous. At least Leader doesn't increase generator repair speed to 25% AND only one Prove Thyself can be active at any given time in a group of survivors repairing a generator.

My prediction: SC goes back to normal. No one will bother to heal. Everyone will use SC.Pretty good job.
Buffing the most used survivor perk further won't solve anything. Looks like the survivor favoritism is back again.

You'll be able to buy the fix from the store soon, don't you worry.

I think you should buff We're gonna live forever to what it was before (50% bonus bp at the end of the match per each stack because We're gonna live forever does nothing to help you survive and barbecue and chilli gives you the same amount with all stacks and it still helps you.I remember the golden days of WGLF 200%, but the queue times were a bit annoying at 45 mins

Games as both killer and survivor was stupid as #########. Games lasted max 5 minutes because the survivors kamikazi'd the hook to farm their fellow survivors, getting downed in the process and the cycle repeated..

Have an upvote for an idea I don't remember seeing before.

clown is alrready a strong killer, i dont know how much of these buffs he could take without being broken... and if the gas was really going to force slow vaults, that would be pretty op imo...
i still like all of these ideas!Ironically, most games I have against clown ends up with him getting 1 to maybe 2 kills.
I don't deny that he's strong, its just that he's easily punished if he cannot keep his momentum up.Clown is a killer built to counter looping, but he cant properly counter it with his gas. Thats his problem.
Also he has no map pressure at all and simply is genrushedI consider him my second-to-third favorite killer so your words ring awfully true.

So you need to hit a survivor, leave them, find another survivor, frenzy them, find that first survivor and down them before they finish mending?
Wow. Impressive. -

Fantastically #########.Thanks for the info, though.
What did you expect?
The only reason why there's 4 characters composing this one killer is because they can go all out with the cosmetics. The cattle needs milking and boy, Behavior just bought themselves a new milking machine. -

I kinda wish there was a casual mode though with no rank, though I'm worried that would split up the player base..To be fair, in today's matchmaking.. there might as well not be any ranks. It's all over the place.

Exactly, sadly you don't even have to survive for pipping, they will pip anyway unless you tunnel hard
Sadly, yeah. And hardcore tunneling people to death will not improve the state of this community.. So we might as well just give them one hell of a difficult game.

Here's a few simple steps on how to save a lot of sanity as a player enjoying Killer in Dead by Daylight.
1. Make random players unable to leave comments on your steam profile.
2. Never accept random friend requests from players you just played with.
3. Close the post-chat window and never open it again. -
Nurse. Only the strongest will survive.
-
- Self Care (You get points for healing yourself and hitting skill checks while doing so)
- We're Gonna Live Forever (Get up to 100% extra bloodpoints for taking hits and saving people)
- Borrowed Time (Guaranteed Save)
- A perk of your choice. Saboteur could be the last one, as you get Boldness points for breaking hooks and traps.

But I wish in general all addons were weaker and base killer abilities and powers were stronger.Won't happen with the developers' mindset of believing that all killers should be valid at higher ranks. They rather band-aid in power through add-ons and perks, rather than improving the killers outright.
I think you phrased it wrong: they explicitly said they DO NOT think all killers should be viable at high ranks (I think that's what you meant just not what you said).
Woops! Fixed. Critical letters getting lost in the heat of the moment..

the community will get even more toxic towards killer mains taunting them saying they can’t handle a swf group post gameThe joy of having a permanently closed post-game chat. They can scream all they want. It falls upon deaf ears.. or closed eyes.. I guess.

I'd imagine there's a small subsection of players who only play a few games a month, constantly staying above 15. Nothing like wrecking beginners to feel good about yourself, eh?
-
Argh, so many good ones and so many choices.

Different year same topic...Some things never change.
On topic, I don't believe that DbD would become lesser of a game with the removal of both perks. Here's the catch though, both needs to go or none at all. -

I'd like to believe that the developers would take the time to actually pull off an "operation health" major patch to DbD. But I know that it won't happen. Milking cattle through DLCs and Store cosmetics is where the money's at.
-
It means worse queue times and less fun gaming experiences.. but nothing else.
-
She'd do much better overall with a shorter cooldown. I feel that's the main issue with her power overall, requiring you to have 100% charge in order for it to be used.
-
Interesting idea.
-
Or you could just let killers opt out of the SWF experience. Or make a proper matchmaking system that sends SWFs into the casual zone.

If you cheese the chase mechanic he isn't to bad. Usually like 20 - 30 sec downs. If you don't he's really bad vs good survivors. That's kinda ironic, isn't it? Play as intended and he's garbage (hit and run). Play cheese by exploiting how the chase mechanic work and he's impossible to fight and escape.

se05239 said:No. If you can buy bloodpoints, then you're effectively paying to win.
I don’t think you understand what P2W means because it wouldn’t make it that, perks don’t guarantee wins or items, this whole game is chance
I beg you pardon, but when you could boost a killer (for example) up from level 0 to whatever level you need to have a perfect loadout (counting teachables that you might have unlocked and seeking rank 3 on all perks you wanna use) without playing a single game inbetween, thus entering a trial fully decked out without any experience to go with.. that's definitely paying for an advantage.
-
The devs pulled a bait and switch and said something about an optimization "pass", not "patch".
-
No. If you can buy bloodpoints, then you're effectively paying to win.

I am never going to stop advising people to close that chat box and leave it closed. It'll save you a lot of sanity. Making sure that your profile is also set so that random people cannot leave comments on it also helps.
-
She's throwing her entire game for a kill.

Urgh, tell me about it. I could have gotten survivor puddings or bloody party streamers instead but noooo, smoking shards for me. Almost got more of those than I got ebony moris at this point.

He has no counterplay. This is the Truth. If Legion wants you, he'll get you. There's nothing you can do.

Or Hex totems start the game hidden (unlit) until the Hex is revealed (Ruin / NoeD) or the killer gets 1 token (Devour Hope / Huntress' Lullaby) on a Hex perk, to where it'd replace a Dull Totem somewhere on the level. Haunted Grounds would have to follow a similar logic, perhaps igniting after a certain amount of time or when another Hex perk within the Killer's loadout become active.
-
Because you're not supposed to be able to join a friend who's playing Killer outside of KYF.
That'd lead to such banalt farming shenanigans and griefing bullshit that it wouldn't be fun for anyone but the people exploiting it. -
